The hotel was very clean, the front staff ladt was very nice. Beds were comfortable, I do recommend this hotel!

However, our biggest issue was the air conditioning unit in the master bedroom. It was very noisy and simply could not keep the room cool with outside temperatures hitting around 100°F. Because of the constant noise and the warm room temperature, it was tough to get a good night's sleep. If you are visiting during the peak summer heat, you may want to check the AC performance upon check-in or request a room with updated climate control.

Aug 2026 hotel is replacing all floors and painting the walls and installing new baseboards. Hotel appeared in good shape otherwise. Staff was very helpful and the room was very clean. Nice linens on the beds and in the bathrooms. Comfortable mattresses. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

The hotel was under renovation during our stay, but you can tell they care about the property with renovation they are working on. I travel regularly and this was the friendliest property I have ever been in. Every single person I spoke to on staff was happy and helpful. Katie at the front desk was the nicest and helpful person ever. She was on top of everything for me. The room we had definitely had a couple issues but the front desk helped with everything. Again, they were renovating. I spoke with kitchen staff for some help too and they were all so nice and helpful. If my travels ever bring me back to the area, this hotel is my number one pick!! Thanks for the great stay.

Even though when i booked it has breakfast included.what the need to say is breakfast included for $13 a person.5th floor had a bad musty smell which i think they had a water issue in one of the rooms.Over all it was a OK stay.

Will no be coming back. The room was ok. There was only 1 lamp in the room. There was a light in the bathroom and above the entry door but only 1 lamp. The room was quite dark. If both folks would like to read in bed, that wasn’t going to happen. The was a desk but not lamp or floor lamp. Poor planning. The drapes were stained and torn. There was no toilet paper holder. Just the roll on a shelf near the toilet. Not very clean as you you pick up the tool to get paper and then put it down to wipe your butt. Then pick it up again for more paper-always touching the cardboard roll. I’m not sure what kind of turds and all the previous person touched the cardboard roll that were on his/her hand. A/C was very loud and barely kept the room cool. There was a loud water swooshing for several minutes each time it turned on. Hard to sleep with all the noise and high humidity in the room. Everything felt damp.

The rooms very clean, good clean smell throughout the premise. Madison, manager provides excellent customer service does everything to accommodate customer.

Property was clean. They were in the middle of doing renovations. There was paint on the wall in the bathroom. But no problem with our stay.

Breakfast was good. Washing machines kept taking money and the app feature didn't work all the time . Rooms were nice but mine had a slight odor even though it was obvious they cleaned. Hotel is under construction as well and they made people move vehicles at one point. Good stay though

So, let me say I know this property is being renovated and it looks great so far, but the noise level is too loud, too early too loud in the evening as they are working. I like the upgrades, please adjust noise levels so they arent working when people are resting.

This hotel is under renovation. The first room they gave us had a dumpster in the living area, the door was missing off the bathroom and the flooring was ripped out. The second room they gave us had a king bed and the pull out sofa mattress was old and the coils were sticking out. The room also smelled like old cigarettes. The staff was friendly enough and gave us free breakfast vouchers but would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Clean but musty, stale odor throughout building. Some remodeling had been completed. Bathtub had many chips in the white porcelain. Carpet was worn in hallways.

It was great but our air conditioner did not work and we were hot all night. The receptionist tried to help, he brought us a fan but it just wasn’t a pleasant experience.

Came in they gave me a room that someone else was already in. Got new key all the way in 5th floor. Keys don’t work had to go down twice. The room smelled like mold and mildew the bathroom had a foul smell. The worker was very helpful. This is not a knock on any employee. Just a disappointing stay. And I always stay IHG

Nothing. My room was deplorable! My suite was deplorable! No Phone, no clock, missing chair, no pictures, toilet seat didn't match toilet (round seat on Oval toilet) bedspread had stains on it that looked like blood, blanket had holes in it, couch had paint on it. This suite was horrible. It should have never been rented out! I want my money back for my first night's stay.

The room had a musty smell, and the door key wouldn’t work when we tried to enter from the back parking area. Additionally, the hallways did not have air conditioning at the beginning of our stay. If we hadn’t been trying to find affordable hotels, we wouldn’t have chosen to come here.

The room was large, the bed and sheets were awesome, the shower was so good and the a/c was cold. They are remodeling so that is a process. There were a few minor things but all in all we would stay there again, it was convenient to the doctors office and the price was really good. The buffet was $12.99 and kids eat free so you can't beat that. The employees were nice and very helpful. The coffee maker in the room didn't work and was too high for me to get it down and I'm average height. The coffee in the buffet was warm not hot and the salt shakers had food on the top and that was about it. Very insignificant things.

Carpet in halls was all bubbled up and the halls smelled horribly like a mix of soap and mildew made me wonder how clean anything else really was

Unfortunately I can’t tell you about cleaning because they were working on changing the carpet which is fine for us, but we were surprised that the TV is not working and the AC is so annoying because of the noise we couldn’t sleep well.

Staff very friendly, easy check in process, overall clean and tidy. Wifi didn’t work. Carpets in hallways are all buckling and are a trip hazard. Need to use a vacuum.

Bedrooms smelled like mold. It was extremely uncomfortable as someone who has asthma to sleep there. Also used a black light for the sheets and there were stains.

The elevators are a little slow

Room was comfortable but carpet had a smell. The facility was nice and seemed to be in a great location. However, the parking lot lights didn’t function, there is no security presence and not much in terms of security cameras. Someone had their vehicle stolen while we were there and nobody heard or saw it happen. Beware because this looks like a prime location to be victimized. The management / ownership could do much more to protect the guests property in the parking lot. Unacceptable.

Staff was great. My bathroom was not very clean . I spoke up and then it was cleaned and spotless every day after that! Great job responding. Thank you.

Awesome stay. Katie at the front desk was wonderful. I recommend this place 100%. The jacuzzi was amazing.

Our room smelled disgusting & musty! We only stayed for one night as planned. But we told the front desk staff about the smell as we were leaving. Everything else about the trip was perfect. We could have changed rooms but we got in about 3 AM so we were too tired to exchange but overall it was a very decent experience. We have stayed here in the past and we will probably stay here again.

The pool was gross. There was hair floarong all over and you could see what looked like an oil slick across the top of the water. The chlorine smell was irritating to the eyes and nose.

The stay is always wonderful

We stayed on the 5th floor. Immediately coming off the elevator there was an overwhelming smell- it was extremely unpleasant. I found out later on that the smell was coming from wall "air fresheners" plugged in along the hallway. The carpeting in the hallway also needs to be replaced. It is bunching up and causing a tripping hazard. The rooms were very dark. Not enough lighting. The showers were awful. The power went out for a few hours at one point and then half of the outlets in the room just stopped working. Lastly, the pool... it was disgusting. There were no towels left to take. When we asked the front desk for pool towels, they said they would bring some more. They brought wash cloths. My husband and I had to dry ourselves off with washcloths. The tile floors surrounding the pool were so slippery. It was dangerous to navigate with a toddler. The tile surrounding the hot tub poked out into pool area. I felt like our son was going to bob his head to far and hit it on the side of the hot tub. The pool was soooo dirty I wanted to vomit. There were used bandaids floating around. I also had a large chunk of someone's extensions wrap around my leg while I was in the pool. I would not recommend this property and will not be returning.

My room was great and clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast is basic. Second time here this month and I will be back if need to.

I paid for rooms with breakfast, however the kitchen manager told me since I was checking out on Saturday I would not get breakfast and that I would have to pay for it, needless to say I didnt have breakfast. Very disappointed.....will not chose to stay there on my next business visit

We were given an ADA room which initially was ok. When the air went off I could smell the dirtiness of the carpet. There was a Febreze freshener in the room when we arrived which should’ve been my first clue. The carpet smell was the biggest issue. I did not request this room but they should have cleaned the carpet. The staff at check in were friendly and we did not eat at the breakfast bar. I won’t be staying here again.

My first room had a real bad smell

The smell of carpet fresh powder a little overbearing, lighting in room insufficient, pictures on WiFi start page show gym having a weight machine- there was not a machine.

I loved the room. Very spacious and the front desk lady was extremely polite and friendly. The breakfast was basic. Gym was ok. I’ll stay again if I’m back in this area.

Hot tub was very hot which was pleasant. Pool was warm. Cookies in the foyer. Breakfast was decent. Room on 5th floor had good cold A/C. Slept well. Conveniently located to food shops. Pleasant staff.

Room was clean everything smelled nice all around the hotel. Usually some parts of the hotels smell muggy or moldy. The only thing I will say is the pool had waaaayyy too much chlorine. My eyes were burning just sitting in there. Other than that it was nice.

Sunday night…3 couples were in lobby chatting away with a couple drinks and in comes Floyd. He clapped his hands at us so loud like 5 times and told us to shut up and go to our rooms. So disrespectful. Words were exchanged, cops were called and everything was fine. Unfortunately, the manager at the time left without speaking to us. Oh well. Sad holiday inn employs people that do not respect their clients. Rest of staff was amazing.

The room was dirty had a bad smell. Some holes had toilet paper in it that where under the bathroom counter. The carpet needed to be vacuumed the base on floor was falling off. The phone in the room didn't work and also killed a bug on curtains.

There’s only one way in and one way out of this property. It’s on a very busy street so be on the lookout for the green and white Holiday Inn sign. If you miss it, you’ll have to make a U-turn. Otherwise, it’s a great property. I enjoyed my stay. There’s lots of things to do in this area.

The room smelled of stale air and strong cleaning products. There were poorly patched holes in the bathroom door. The morning of our departure the water was shut off due to a “burst pipe repair” but no one from the hotel informed us of the issue. When I tried to call to find out if it was just my room, the room telephone wasn’t working so I had to call the front desk from my cell phone. No one apologized for the inconvenience and they did not offer anything to make up for the issue. They just said it was out of their control.

Clean and modern hotel, but numerous items were missing in the room. However, after notifying the front desk, they were eventually rectified.

Rooms too dark, not enough light. Sofa bed mattress imposible to use, dirty, the springs would poke your body. The door between the two areas interfered with the bathroom door. One of the beds had something that made my doughter sick.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly! We enjoyed sitting at the bar and playing cards. The room was quiet and the beds were very comfortable! Will definitely stay there again on our next Houston trip.

It was a very great stay I stayed 3 night and it was a great to have my room cleaned all the three days fresh towels bed made floor mopped! I truly enjoyed it breakfast was great all though I missed a waffle but it was great the staff is super polite and friendly will definitely stay again with them

The room was missing at least 3 lamps, the hot water was out for 1 day 1/2. The elevators didn’t work half the time. We are elderly & our room was on the 5th floor. The microwave kept beeping intermittently for no reason & the fridge didn’t work. There was also some kind of caulk or tile mixture splattered in the tub.

Walking distance to pretty much anything you needed. Busy area, felt safe. Hotel was nice for our one night stay between airport and cruise port.

Our room smelled as there had been a dog in there prior. The tile in the bathroom was cracked and there were stains in the basin of the tub. Sure enough, there was zero hot water. It was freezing cold. I had to walk to the front desk to let them know the state of our room because the room phone had been disconnected. I wish I was making all of this up but instead it’s true. The front desk told us to ask for a refund through Hotels.com.

The whole hotel has a weird smell that's trying to be masked with a cheap fragrance. The rooms are dirty, and tired. I don't usually leave negative reviews but when I had to take a cold shower because there was no hot water it was the last straw.

Surprised in a good way

Lobby is nice and decorated beautifully. The room was a bit dated but clean. I could only get lukewarm water from the shower so that was not fun being it’s mid-December.

Front desk was awesome. Gave our room a complementary breakfast and early check in . Clean and great location.

When we arrived, we were informed that there would be a ten minute wait for hot water. When we got to the room, there was a bug crawling up the wall and more than a couple of "dips" in the floor. Holiday Inns are usually pretty reliable, but this one could use a bit of work.
