Clean room nice staff and breakfast was great

Great location and staff.

The shower didn’t work properly. I reported it several times during the stay. The maintenance person never fixed it. There was not enough water pressure and the shower head was clogged. Everything was outdated. Not even a coffee machine in a suite.

We stayed there one night after having a medical procedure done nearby. The front desk was so accommodating, giving us our room close to the elevator. We had a king size suite. I was a really nice size including the bathroom.The hotel is super clean and the staff is very friendly. It's located walking distance through a lot of shopping and nearby eateries. If Evan in the area, we would certainly come back again.

Tried switch room air was so loud and said couldn’t switch not worth the money I paid .The front desk was so rude not helpful.The breakfast buffet the food was overcooked and the workers didn’t help us .Didnt feel safe just let anybody come up to floors .

Nice hotel with plenty of food and shopping options nearby. Great place to stay if you're headed out on a cruise and want to save a little money instead of staying in Galveston. Just thirty minutes from the port. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. and the rooms were clean. We were pleased with our stay.

Room was clean and a pretty big size (2 queens and the couch). Everything was super clean, beds were comfy, lots of pillows, and plenty of towels for what we needed. I liked the Dove soap and shampoo/conditioner. Breakfast buffet was about what you’d expect. My only negative notice was that the building itself has seen better days. For example, the hook on the back of bathroom door was pulled out and gone, and the exhaust fan didn’t work. There were some places in the hallways or elevators had cracked tiles. That said, everyone was very nice and attentive, everything was very clean, and we were quite comfortable. I would stay again, especially for the price.

Nice and affordable place to stay when leaving on a cruise the next day. Plenty of of restaurants in the area.

The property was clean I didn’t have a problem with the property. The staff gave me a room I didn’t reserve and tried to blame it on booking. com No hospitality at all just making money off unsatisfied customers.

Room was clean and spacious. Staff was courteous. Breakfast was acceptable. Didn't use any of the other amenities. Location was good and easy to access. Would like to suggest having laundry bags available in the rooms for dirty clothes. Overall would recommend.

The hotel was very good and located close to the space Center. I requested to arrive later in Booking, and when getting there they told me they did not read those messages and mentioned I should have called, that they never read anything in booking. They had cancelled me as no show, luckily my room was still available. I have never heard anything like this before. I am also coeliac and the options were close to null for breakfast. Labelling was none existent and all food was mixed. It takes very little to accommodate for food allergies and they did not. The coffee was awful. I ended up eating boiled eggs with yoghurt given the lack of options. The worst part was the way I was treated when arriving after a long trip... if you do not read anything left in Booking, you should clearly state so as this is the first time it had happened.

It’s a very neat hotel very closer to Costco the rooms and the lobby and the lift everything is clean. I would highly recommend people to stay here.

The receptionist was excellent, super friendly & helpful. She comes in after 3 pm. My husband & I were there Monday thru Wednesday. Breakfast was OK but there needs to be one person specifically assigned to clean tables, chairs & floors during breakfast. Both mornings there, empty tables, chairs & floors remained dirty. Room was cleaned to our satisfaction. Would stay here again. The area is so amazing! So much to do within a short car ride.

Manager cancelled my room without notification to me or Hotels.com at 10am. We arrived to find this out at 7pm. Hotel was of course booked and I had to find another hotel in the area. They never offered to help get us a room at another holiday inn or provided any help. Will not stay at Holiday Inn in the future.

The staff is friendly and helpful. However, there are no complimentary water bottles in the rooms. If you need water, you can purchase a water bottle for $2 each, which is a regular Sam’s Club water bottle.

Room was very clean and fully stocked. Location and access to nearby businesses was easy. Enjoyed the free breakfast, and they do breakfast tacos! Was a treat. Staff was great and accommodating when we requested for late checkout. I am a IHG Rewards member but booked through Expedia, but they were able to process my late checkout request. Highly recommend.

Parking lot was riddled with broken glass from liquor bottles, ect, and attendants at front desk didn't seem to be worried about illegal handicapped parking.

We were placed in an accessible room that had a connecting door and the neighbors were really loud. We did not book an accessible room, but we were placed in one anyway.

The room was very clean, The staff was very professional and nice. The breakfast was good, did not have time to enjoy the nice looking swimming pool and the jacuzzi, but it looked super nice.

Conveniently located!!! There were several shopping areas and food establishments close by. The hotel itself was clean and the staff very courteous. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was ready so they allowed me to check in early. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was also very clean. Breakfast was good with many selections. The only negative from the stay, was the noise level. The walls are really thin. I was on the third floor. There was loud talking and lots of noise into the early hours of the morning so I didn't get much sleep the first night. Also, there was a lot of stomping and jumping in the room above me

The selection of the breakfast items was loaded with sweet baked goods. The scrambled eggs were watery. The only fresh fruit were apples and the were stale. I don’t consume pork products. There was bacon and pork sausages. Which led me to leaving the hotel and purchasing breakfast at Starbucks

Everything was Wonderful! Only downside is no outlets near beds or on bedside table to plug anything in. Husband uses Cpap machine and couldn’t use it. We didn’t know we had to bring an extension cord.

This hotel was amazing! We stayed here before our cruise and it’s way cheaper than staying in Galveston Island! The mall is near by and tons of restaurants. It’s only about a 25-30 minute drive to cruise parking!

The Hotel is in need of a little updating.

Great place to stay

I am writing to express my severe dissatisfaction regarding my recent reservation. Despite booking a room with payment upon arrival, I was informed only upon my arrival that my reservation had been cancelled due to full occupancy. Crucially, I received no prior notification (phone or email) of this cancellation, leaving me stranded and scrambling to find alternative accommodation. Furthermore, the night manager's abrupt change in demeanor when addressing my predicament, contrasted with her interactions with other guests, was highly unprofessional. This experience was entirely unacceptable.

Dirty rooms and no cleaning staff available

Most comfy beds! Havent stayed at a holiday inn in a while and this place was heavenly.

My room smelled bad. Garbage was stacked in the hall near the elevator for two days. Breakfast didn’t open til 6:30 which is too late. The place had a bad vibe. Like a dormitory.

BAD: The room was not clean. Pink mildew rings around tub and sink drains. Tub drain was clogged. Kept finding other people's hair throughout the room. Hideous breakfast... Scrambled eggs looked like corn kernels. Sausage was greyish-purple. Oatmeal appeared as if they forgot to actually cook it.

The roomwas well designed and easy to move around. The room was very quiet and bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Excellent breakfast was prepared for us. While there, i scheduled my next Galveston hotel stay here!!

Wasn’t able to check in bc I messed up my reservation and was supposed to check in on Jan 25th. Could not get a refund or rebook for the date I needed.
