We loved the location as it is closed to NASA. Also there are shops close by and we get to do shopping. Breakfast was great too. There was laundry machine on site. None
- 5/5
Great location (NASA). Lots of shopping options. Close to Galveston.
- 0.5/5
It was a convenient location to the hospital It had roaches in the bathroom
- 1/5
Front desk was rude. Room had stains and filth everywhere as well as black mold on bathroom walls. Pool and hot tub were ice cold! When I asked the front desk about the broken hot tub I was told "oh no, thats a cold plunge." Haha. Ruined my vacation time with my kids! The outside of the hotel was run down too. Rusty pool surroundings. Literally boogers on the walls in our room! Our bed was sunken in and crazy uncomfortable.

- 1.5/5
Location good Room was very very musty smelling. Almost made you sick to your stomach. Not the worst I’ve stayed in but on the list.
- 2/5
The hotel was very dull , non welcoming for a family with kids
- 2/5
I assigned a room on the third floor; however, the air conditioning was not functioning in the hallway. In addition the air conditioning barely functioned in the room. In addition the ice machine was broken on the third floor. The following day I requested a different room on the second floor. The air conditioning was working in the hallway and better in room 215. However, we bought some fans ($34) to help move the air in the room so we could sleep better. I did complain to the front desk. They said it was due to the outside temps. I will not stay here again.

Breakfast was adequate. The room rate was reasonable.
- 5/5
Breakfast is simple but delicious. Very clean quiet rooms.
- 2.5/5
The breakfast was great and the room was a good size for the price. Their pool is completely ran down and was freezing in the middle of the summer. We went to this pool specifically for the indoor pool and it was a complete let down.
- 5/5
Very clean staff were so helpful
- 3/5
No Wifi. Rude front desk staff and very unprofessional. Room key wouldn't work every time I left the room. Room was burning up when entered since they turn the air off in 100% weather. Took all night to cool off in the room.
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful and friendly, we needed to check in early, and they said no problem.
- 2/5
Room smelled like wet carpet and mildew. Toilet ran all night. Sink and tub drained really slow, Walls in Room had spots with damage. Toaster didn't work, coffee and waffle despencer didn't work good. Hot tub didn't work. Glad to get out of there.
- 5/5
The breakfast sucks, I stayed for 5 days and the breakfast was the same every day, I asked why and I was told that is the only thing they serve by the managements orders. On the last 2 days we went to eat outside the hotel because the there were no changes on the B-fast hours. No beacon, no real eggs, boiling eggs or anything like that!!!

I like how the room was very spacious and big the staff is very nice and considerate How the restroom floor the tile would come up off the floor but good thing I lay a towel so you dont cut or pinch your feet and the seat was all trashy and old
- 1/5
1 star hotel. Joke. I want a refund -- I was lead on.
- 5/5
Would stay here again clean rooms nice selection for breakfast
- 2/5
Gym equipment is not maintained and outdated, generally hotel is poorly maintained Water leak in the room from rooftop that crew did not seem to be worried about
- 4/5
Hotel was good, though the pool was extremely cold.
- 5/5
Spacious room and the staff were very helpful and responsive.
- 1/5
The mattress for the pullout bed had MOLD growing all over it. The pool was ice cold. would recommend if you want some place cheap with nice front desk people.

Great breakfast

I could hear the neighboring room’s occupant’s conversation and tv clearly. The walls are very thin. The shower seat in the walk in shower was rotted and coming apart. You could see through the seams on the bottom, because they had come undone. It was full of mold and mildew and completely disgusting. The floor in the bathroom in front of the shower was soft and water damaged. The tiles were loose and broken. The sink faucet was restricted, hardly any water flow. The room was otherwise clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. There is a coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. The young lady that checked me in was rude and dismissive. Couldn’t even be bothered to tell me where the elevator was, as I was on the 3rd floor, or give directions to my room. When I came in late from work on the last night of my stay, my key card quit working. The doors were locked at 11 pm. Tried to ring the door bell for 10 minutes with no luck. I had to call the motel to get someone to let me in and reprogram the key card. I was very disappointed. I’ve stayed at several other comfort inns and had good experiences every time. This was just ridiculous. I’ll be staying elsewhere for the rest of this job.
- 4/5
Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Overall it was clean just slightly run down. Breakfast everyday was good and a nice addition. Pool was ok and hot tub is non existent. Location was alright felt safe and was close to everything.
- 2/5
Room was clean, seen stains on curtains. Also I booked this room just for the day so we could enjoy the hot tub and indoor pool. But after check in we were told it’s not a hot tub, it’s a cold plunge! Like what!?! Bags of trash were left at the end of the hall by the elevator for a long time. We also had a torn a blanket on our bed. And the ac had turned off at one point and was not turning on.
- 5/5
Parking was easy, room very clean and comfortable. Walking distance from several restaurants and shopping opportunities.
- 3/5
Room
- 2/5
We had to change rooms 4 times total. Two of them were handicap accessible rooms with bathrooms that needed repairs. The other room we were re-assigned to turned out to be occupied. The final room we just kept even though the curtain rod in the bathroom was broken. I used a bandaid to keep it closed! Also, the night staff was rude. When we needed to change rooms due to their inadequacies, the attendant was rude and actually nonverbal and then on consecutive nights, she would not even greet us. There was another night attendant who also never looked up or greeted us when we arrived. Night staff were very unfriendly and unwelcoming. The morning staff, however, were very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, friendly staff, clean pool and hot tub
- 3/5
Need renovations throughout. It is old and rooms reflect their wear and tear,
- 5/5
Room very clean. Was surprised and got a handicap room. We are senior citizens so it for sure helped. Young lady who checked us in very courteous and polite.
- 5/5
Great stay!!
- 2/5
Booked the hotel for the pool and hot tub. Hot tub was colder than the pool. And the pool had some sort of wire hanging out of it. Wasn’t very comfortable getting in the pool due to that. So wasn’t able to enjoy either of them. Will be contacting hotels from now on to confirm if the hot tub works.
- 2/5
Room smelled upon enter asked for another room second smelled worst , floors broken, dirty towels, will not stay here again …. Customer service was very pleasant but this establishment is very outdated !!
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. It was decorated nice and was clean. Check in was easy with the front desk person very friendly. Would definitely stay here if ever in the area again.
- 3/5
First assigned room had trash in waste can & semi melted ice in bucket & temp set at over 75 & tv didnt work. Was relocated to another room. Was adequate. Hotel is in need of serious fixes/ updates. Shower curtain rod sagging unable to keep closed. Plaster bubbling & peeling poor carpet installation. Worn out upholstery. Moldy/dirty artwork. Breakfast adequate. No hot tub. Pool frosty. 4 night stay. Would not stay again for 4 nights.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, and super close to the hospital my dad was at.
- 2/5
Key card kept going out. Breakfast was gross
- 2/5
Very uncomfortable, no tv, and was not notified prior to checking in
- 2/5
Unsafe pool conditions ( light fixture left out floating in the pool not in a fix spot) Dirty/ broken hot tub Overwhelming smell of chlorine in the pool room and in the hall $150 deposit is over priced
- 2/5
The rooms were very large but poorly maintained. The seat in the roll in shower was falling apart and dangerous to sit on. I had to request a different shower seat. The air-conditioning on the 1st floor was not working. The ice machine areas were dirty and the ice machine on the 3rd floor did not work. The hotel is in desperate need of a re-model. Also the hot tub did not work.
- 4/5
parking area seemed safe
- 5/5
Clean rooms good customer service
- 2/5
They have Roaches
- 2/5
The gym equipment was broke and did not work. The hot tub was broke. The pool was unsafe with the electrical hanging out of the pool wall and was unable to use. The ac wasn’t working properly the bed sheets were so itchy had to pull them off. The room above and next to mine were so noisy. Most of the staff were not friendly. Breakfast was ok.
- 5/5
Staff excellent, breakfast good, pool and spa were out of order.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Excellent
- 3/5
For being a quick trip and to essentially use it to sleep, it met my needs. The reviews were pretty accurate, oddly the room felt cold initially but then it warms up? Room was outdated, it needs attention for sure. But to checkbox price, it was part of a bundle and was worth it. Don’t expect resort level style.
- 4/5
My stay was good, the rooms were spacious and clean.
- 3/5
Sadly it was so run down maintenance poor pool and jacuzzi was not working and cold. Chairs in dining area were peeling. No air conditioning in lobby area.
- 5/5
The only thing I did not like is in the elevators they had a thing that shows when the elevator needs to be renewed and it wasn’t renewed since 2022
- 5/5
The room was amazing for comfort for me and the family.
- 4/5
The most important things were perfect, though. 5 stars for breakfast, cleaning service and customer service. But hubby and I picked this hotel for the hot tub . ☆ also, not 1 machine worked in fitness room. ☆ we paid too much $ for amenities we could not use :( But for real, everything else was wonderful. Very nice place, just needs repairs. Very close to NASA and UTMB doctors appointments. Plenty of restaurants near by. Over-all a good experience. Just not what we paid for.
- 3/5
Elevator smelled bad from old carpet, room had rusted panels on bath ceiling and dirty grout all around, breakfast area not very clean and poorly serviced.
- 2/5
Very old and nothing is attractive and cool
- 3/5
All in all, I will not book this one again.
- 5/5
Very nice will definitely stay again
- 5/5
be aware that they will charge a deposit fee if you book through a third party. i dont know if this is applicable booking directly with the hotel.
- 1/5
It was sooo hot they had fans all over the lobby so they know it was hot when asking if the AC was broken they said no. Everything was fine, they had 5 ice machines and inly one worked and it kept braking and the man from desk would do something to it and it would work again but also had trouble keeping up with the whole hotels needs the inside pool and hot tob are broken and have been for a long time i think its one less thing they have to do or deal.with and they dont want to put money in this hotel they just want to keep taking people's hard earned money and we are not getting everything they advertise. Had they fixed the air and the pool and hot tub it would not be so bad.
- 5/5
Close to my drs appointments
- 3/5
No AC and room was dirty. mattress was disgusting
- 3/5
Room was nice but the hotel was old and upholstery was torn up. I thought I booked a safe and clean hotel for my son and I. It was very ghetto, the area must not be good because the other guests were barefoot and in pajamas. Breakfast closed sooner than listed. We rushed to leave.
- 1/5
No A/C throughout building, Breakfast kept running out and was cold to touch. Leaks everywhere in the building, Very unsanitary. Listing should have never been on hotels.com
- 3/5
Older dated property. Lobby was humid and hot the entire time. Room was spacious for our family. Just a semi below average hotel.
- 5/5
Stayed the night before going on a cruise, close to where we needed to be. Good breakfast.
- 2/5
Not terrible. I just feel restocking items is important. I also was disappointed we did not get to have the hot tub because it was broken. I noticed a lot of black mold looking spots on ceilings. Elevator smelled like marijuana. Curtains were broken in our room. Street lights shown in our room.
- 2/5
Issues began when I tried to communicate with the hotel via the app, and send a message... the message was never replied to. Next, there was no A/C in the common areas, it was almost as hot in the lobbies / hallways as outside, but no indication of there being issues, or apologies for the heat. Then, there was a roach in the hot tub (no didn't use it),, and the hot water for the shower took about 10 minutes to get hot. The Spa (Hot Tub) in the pool was broken, no hot water, and there was a sign on the door about it that looked like it has been there for quite awhile. And the last item was the first floor ice machine.. it was broken.. and it was broken the last time I was there, several years ago.. and still had the same sign taped to it telling guests to use the machine on the 2nd floor. I'm not sure if this hotel has been through multiple owners, or if the owners can't afford the upkeep, and I'm typically understanding that sometimes in business things happen, but a large chain should not allow a location like this and needs to step in and get this property back to the standards expected.
- 3/5
A/C did not cool enough, even when set at 60. Roach in the room. Ottoman foot broken off. We thought the hairdryer was broken, so we asked for another one. They didn't have any as they are mounted to the wall. We were attending a conference and needed to look professional. Finally asked for a key to an empty room so I could dry my hair. I don't think we will ever stay at Comfort Suites again. Had another bad experience in Abilene a couple of week ago at a Comfort Suites.
- 5/5
Was really clean and everything was at working conditions. Ther were very friendly and polite to us which made us feel welcome.
- 2/5
The property was poorly taken care of
- 5/5
My stay was excellent. The room was very clean and had good air conditioning. Thank you for the breakfast also.
- 2/5
The front desk staff were always helpful and kind, which I appreciated. But the condition of my first room and aspects of the 2nd room were deplorable. Roaches in the restroom and main room. Wallpaper peeling off the wall in all stages with visible mold underneath. Huge stains on the carpet. The only reason I did not request a room change that night bc I had a late check in after a long long drive. When I asked the next morning the staff was quick to get me another room. The 2nd was an obviously an updated room and much better. Then as I was climbing into bed I noticed the bottom layer of fabric was slashed into and cut up. I came to the hotel to get some alone time to relax. This was much less than relaxing and disappointing that I spent my hard earned money on it.
- 2/5
They need an urgent remodeling!
- 3/5
That hallway and room smelled very musty like maybe they had water damage or something in the past. There were some spots on the ceiling that I was not sure of.
- 3/5
Will not be going back to this one!
- 1/5
I would NOT recommend this hotel for anyone. I checked in on day 1 to my room and went to the bathroom and the bathtub was mud dirty with brown stains across the front to the back, then I attempt to use the charging outlets and NONE of them worked. I tried to call the front desk to advise of these concerns and the phone in the room did not work at all. I proceeded to walk downstairs to the front desk and they say it is just stains but would u like a new room I said yes. I get to room 2 and the bathtub looked identical to room 1 bathtub (mud dirty) Then as I tried to close the curtains because it was night time, i discovered the curtain rod on one side was broken and laid against the wall. Then once I laid down for bed I discovered the thick bed comforter was scraped up like a pet ate it up with the cotton coming out.

- 4/5
The only thing i didnt like was the fact that the hot tub and pool were not in working order
- 5/5
annual stay, friendly staff, comfy bed, good location
- 4/5
it was nice and quite
- 3/5
Desk clerk at check-in was very nice. Expedia showed the room would have a tub/shower combo, it was a shower only. Loose tiles in the bathroom. Third floor hallway smelled horrible. Bed was very hard. A/C worked but was very noisy. Elevator floor was covered with a carpet scrap that had raggedy edges which could be a tripping hazard.
- 5/5
Property was perfect for a one night stay before checking into hca clear lake the next morning.
- 3/5
This property does not have a working hot tub and I specifically booked for that amenity. According to staff, this has been an issue for a while but the owner refuses to update online listings to reflect accuracy. The beds and pillows are super uncomfortable, the shower head was leaking and had low pressure, and the WiFi was so slow I couldn’t connect.
- 5/5
Customer service front desk was really nice
- 1/5
I liked the fact when i called the lady answered and assured me we could check in til 5 am. She was there and greeted us when we checked in. Towards the end of our stay i was getting coffee and water had been spilled by previous person. This same lady was like there go you napkins rightthere to clean up that spill. I said ok i did not make mess but i will clean up. Felt like most of staff did not want to work there. Had they been up front about the pool being dirty when they told us the hot tub did get hot but jets worked before we got there we would not have booked here. Anyway as i said seemed staff really isn't there to work so i took the liberty of doing stripped the bed down to mattress made sure the counts were, noticed stains and why offer a sofa bed and not have bedding? I must have missed something. There. Breakfast was better than some but not as good as it could be. I see why there is a box to drop room keys for check out. I was concerned i would be accused of something else i did not do. Please let Expedia and etc know your pool is not open and hot tub is broken not working at all. Would have saved us enormously
- 3/5
My room smelled so strongly of ammonia that I had to open the window and door to air it out. It was so strong, it made my eyes water.
- 4/5
Average but fair price
- 2/5
La posiciona no tiene agua caliente
- 3/5
The room and breakfast were great. We chose the hotel for the indoor pool and hot tub, but the pool was freezing cold. The hot tub was dirty and the heat and jets didn't work. We were very disappointed ☹️
- 3/5
The room itself had a very weird smell, like moldy or wet. Many repairs were needed in the room that they could have taken care of before us arriving
- 2/5
I don’t think this property warrants an 150 dollar deposit. When you book with them on Hotels it doesn’t mention a 150 dollar deposit anywhere on the check in instructions or on the booking confirmation.
- 2/5
Didn't like many things. Hotel was very dated and had not been updated. Paint was fading. Carpet seem faded. Smelled of disinfectant in the lobby, room and throughout hotel. WIFI was an antiquated mess that was slow and continually dropped user. Hotel staff never came clean on how to re-register on network and made us repeatedly come to the desk to login. Electrical outlets in our bathroom did NOT work. The whole facility just seemed to be terribly dated and minimally maintained or updated. We will never stay there again.
- 3/5
Sad because they ask for additional 150 dls deposit
- 1/5
When I got to the room i contacted expedia. They spoke to the hotel. The front desk then called me and told me I could check out early(the next day)and they would refund my second night.
- 3/5
Linens were clean. Bathroom wasn’t up to my standard. Hallways were hot and humid. Room didn’t seem to cool. Towels were dirty/stained. Breakfast was awful.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Excellent breakfast and very clean. Only disappointed about not being able to use pool. We got in late the night we stayed and we woke up to get into pool but it opened up at 10 so we didnt have time to swim. But overall very nice place.
- 4/5
No tub stop for kids to take a bath, and water pressure was awful.
- 3/5
Mold was on the ceiling in the bathroom. The spa was not working and very green. We went with this hotel because it was supposed to have an indoor heated spa and that was not the case. The bed was ok, harder than I like. Breakfast was tasty.
- 2/5
Was upset hot tub did not work they did not have it posted when I booked, the ice machine didn’t work on my floor, they had no milk for the cereal and no juice was not happy
- 4/5
Nice hotel, good spacious room, unfortunately the air con didnt seem to cope with the size of the room - even on the coldest setting it was still very warm in the room overnight. Duvet wasnt in the best condition either, several rips in it. Otherwise good, nice indoor pool and convenient location for visiting NASA
- 2/5
Property is located near lots of food and shopping. Very easy to find. However, the property itself left a lot to be desired. Swimming pool and hot tub was not operational, ice machines not working, juice machine for breakfast was not working, carpet in elevator was torn and ragged as well. Furniture in the room is showing its age. However, everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking for the hotel.
