Reviews
The hotel received overwhelmingly positive reviews for its friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness, and excellent breakfast. Guests also appreciated the modern facilities, great location, and comfortable rooms. However, a few guests had issues with the parking fees, bed comfort, and long wait times at check-in.

We had a great time! The staff and the location was on point. The only thing we did like was , they shouldn't expect pet that are going to be growling and barking at guests.

I booked a King room with a pullout couch. My mom ended up coming with me so i called to request my room be changed to 2 queens. They were unable to this over the phone since I booked through Expedia but told me they vould help at check in and had plenty of queen rooms. When I arrived and requested the change they told me they could not make this change since it was booked through a 3rd party. I told them it was no problem and we would make it work since my 2 daughters and I could slerp in the king. We ended up having a queen bed, not a King and my daughter ended up making a palet on the floor. When I told them it was a queen, not a king they told me they were very busy.

Parking is ridiculous..$35 not sure if will return
- 4/5
When they say self parking available, they don’t tell you that you can park your car yourself for $38/day!! The evening two free drinks needs a whole lot more attention. Extremely disorganized and under staffed. Breakfast was great if you love cold pancakes and cold scrambled eggs. We expected better out of this property.

Property very beautiful only problem was check-in. I arrived at 2:55pm on 8/8/26 and the lady receptionist told me that my room wasn't ready so I had to wait a few minutes. Approximately 3:10 the line was really long so I got back into line and waited. When I was over at the front desk the lady receptionist was waiting on another lady infront of me and I heard her tell the lady her room wasn't ready but she'll find her one that was. I'm wondering why couldn't she have done the same for, but instead she said I had to wait until my room was ready. My room was already paid for online the previous day so I didn't really understand what was the problem. I wasn't happy with having to get back into a long line to get checked in. Overall my stay was great I was just disappointed with check in.

I loved the location of this property. We had a beautiful view of the water and surrounding area. Very peaceful and not busy, but easily accessible to restaurants. Most things are within walking distance. The room was awesome and more importantly, it was quiet and well insulated. We received two each complimentary drinks for Happy Hour. They had snacks and it was perfect just before heading to the concert. The trolly runs every 20 minutes for free and it’s right in front of the hotel! The breakfast was delicious and included!! Very nice spread of anything you can think of, plus you could order a custom omelet. This was my first time staying there, but this will be my place every time now. Such a great place for the price.

We absolutely loved our stay it was superb! The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. The staff were very attentive, personable and welcoming. We thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed the complimentary drinks and snacks, as well as the breakfast that was included in our rate. Overall outstanding!

Best hotel in the woodlands area. Definitely recommend!
- 5/5
We have stayed here several times and will continue to do so. It is our favorite hotel in The Woodlands area. The hotel is always clean, breakfast is delicious and staff is great. The location is what really sells it. Plenty of places walking distance, beautiful waterway area and walking path right across the street. 10/10!

The property was beautiful. Disappointed that I had to pay to park. The evening snacks were mediocre. The bartender was slow. They did not have Cabernet. Other than that it was great!

This property has always been a great place to stay lots of places to eat around and it’s always clean.

Embassy Suites is one of my go-to properties in every city we travel to. Absolutely did not expect this new property to be literally the worst bed I have slept at any nightly rate….and this suite was over $500.

Mostly ok, however due to computer issues we could not check in until Friday night 9 P.M. I took a day off for this so I was very disappointed from that point on. I know there were plenty of others on my situation, but the hotel management would not give us any updates estimates so we were in perpetual limbo. I would hope at a minimum to be reimbursed for the first night or that the management offer anything for the trouble but still nothing.

We visited July 4th holiday. The hotel had no special plans of which we were made aware. There were no vans or shuttles to area events, nor did the staff seem knowledgable or helpful regarding information about nearby activities. They were polite, nice and professional with many people asking similar questions and then walking away discussing amongst ourselves how little they knew or could help. This is a management issue, not an employee concern. Management could have, at the very least, printed maps of activities within walking distance and times, if they were not going to offer shuttles. There was also confusion among several guest mixing up this hotel with another that was hosting a guest party and shuttles.

I wanted to share some feedback about the happy hour experience. Unfortunately, the bar was understocked, unsanitary, and understaffed during happy hour. Drinks were being prepared over the sink rather than at the bar, which was surprising and didn’t inspire confidence. Throughout happy hour, neither the beverages nor the snack offerings were restocked, leaving guests with very limited options. I’ve stayed at Embassy Suites before and have always enjoyed the evening reception, so this experience was disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

Good stay. Location is excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only issue was the noise. I could constantly hear kids running up and down the hallways or screaming in other rooms.

The best hotel in the Woodlands Area. Great staff and easy check in. Clean rooms and lots of amenities including made to order breakfast, evening snacks, and trolley transportation. Walking distance to restaurants and activities.

Melissa, happy hour host, was amazing. Despite being so busy, and never lost her smile. She went above and beyond ensuring my daughters enjoyed their treat too. Everyone felt important and made the trip even better.

Not a thing to complain about. Everything was clean, modern, and well maintained. The rooms are spacious suites with a privacy design. The staff was kind, professional, and accommodating. The local area was beautiful. Everything was walkable and there is a free trolley for even more shopping and dining locations. Perfect place to stay to enjoy the 4th of July.

I called the property for an early check in, which they accommodated in quick time. Upon arrival, the front desk allowed me and my wife to select a suite on a higher floor. Hotel was clean, cool and very enjoyable! This was a lovely stay for us both. Breakfast in the morning was very good too! :)

The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, and we even got a free cocktail during happy hour, which was a nice bonus. The location is great, and I would definitely stay here again in the future. The only downside was that the room felt a little stuffy at times—I wish there had been some kind of fresh scent or better airflow. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Clean room, comfortable bed, and good breakfast.

The property itself was OK but the "cook to order breakfast" was basically eggs any style. The worst part was the $35 per night parking fee. That is ridiculous on top of the rather heavy nightly rate and it was a complete surprise. My bill ended up $100 more than I originally expected. I probably won't go back.
- 5/5
Breakfast was very good. Love the cook to order omelette bar. Huge variety and fresh fruit.
- 5/5
Front desk was very friendly and helpful.

I love having a separated living room as my husband goes to bed much earlier than I. It’s also a joy to have great coffee in our room and at breakfast. Such a pleasure to stay here. Thank you.

Lobby needed cleaning. Bartender during kick back was a younger taller girl was so rude. Questioned us every time we went to get a drink. Didn't want to serve us. Breakfast was very lacking. No creamer for coffee, no cream cheese. There were 3 ladies only that we saw working breakfast. They were amazing and doing the best they could. I've been coming to this hotel for a lot of years at least twice a year for girls trip and this trip was so disappointing.

We like staying at the embassy, particularly the corner rooms. Breakfast is delicious. Location is great. I notice the chairs in the room were a bit dirty and the fabric looked worn. Otherwise, everything was fine.
- 2/5
Bathroom sink faucet was loose on check in and after several time telling the stall it was minor fixed but still loose during tue entire stay. Lack of basic condiments (Ketchup) and lids for coffee and juice on multiple days.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and lobby. Breakfast was much more than I expected. Location is fantastic. A runners dream.
- 5/5
Spent the weekend here for a concert at the Cynthia wood’s pavilion! 10/10 stay
- 4/5
The accommodations were clean. The linens and bedding were clean. The staff was helpful. The only complaint that I have was they were a little bit chintzy on the coffee and the cups left in the room. Other than that our stay was excellent and great. The continental breakfast was fantastic. This location is beautiful. A lot around the area within walking distance.
- 5/5
Clean place, great staff and an awesome bartender. Definitely going to be my "go-to" hotel in the Houston area
- 4/5
The room was decent and was clean, however, for the price of the room per night, I would have expected it to have been easier to obtain extra amenities. Just asking for two extra coffee cups seemed like a huge inconvenience for the staff. Other than that the stay was great.

Free breakfast was amazing; good food and coffee. Very convenient parking for the Hughes Landing area.

Person in the front desk used a sarcastic tone. We showed up early because we had a 5 am flight. Went to drop off luggage at 10 and was told to check back at noon. Came back at 1:30 and the same person told me that check in was at 3. She had just told me to keep checking. Was not helpful, told me they could not guarantee a 3 o’clock check. My hotels.com app said check out wat at 12. Staff was calling me to leave at 11:20am. I mentioned the info I had on my phone and she told me that the information was incorrect and I had to leave. It was embarrassing. Just found out I got charge for parking 140 dollars even though I went and told them I would not park my car at the garage. Got charged anyway after I was told I wouldn’t. Housekeeping never cleaned our room in the 4 days we where there. Went into our room once and only made the bed badly. Did not take out trash once and replaced water bottles. I travel 150 nights a year and it was one of the worse experiences of my traveling career.
- 2/5
Hotel is in a nice and convenient area but there is evidence of deferred maintenance at the property. Understaffed bar and kitchen. We were provided with 2 free drinks but had to wait in a 20 minute line and then they just poured a weak double and took both tickets. The breakfast in the morning was subpar. The omelette station had a 25 minute backlog and the buffet food was cold and poorly prepared. Will not be staying here for anymore events at the Pavilion.
- 5/5
Good breakfast. Enough parking available. Property is beautiful and in the middle of a great shopping area with view of lake.
- 5/5
We loved the breakfast, pool and location.
- 5/5
Fruit was tasteless. Everything else was great
- 4/5
This location is in a great location and is an updated version of Embassy Suites. The rooms were spacious and the included breakfast was a nice bonus. We would definitely recommend this location and would stay there again.

Always great super clean and inviting pool could be cleaner
- 5/5
We love this hotel. It is Very comfortable and has beautiful surroundings. Did not care for the room this time - it was very small and cramped. Front desk staff are never very friendly but restaurant and bar are always nice. Self-parking is too expensive but convenient. We will continue to stay here when we visit The Woodlands.
- 2/5
Great Location and infrastructure. Poor house keeping . Pillows are at the worst . Bathroom lack cleaning.
- 5/5
Happy Hour at the bar is always a good time.

Everyone was very friendly and exceeded expectations! Highly recommend this property for your next vacation
- 5/5
Enjoyed the drinks for happy hour
- 2/5
They took for ever when we had to leave. The parking gate would not let us out. But the real problem was the staffs attitude
- 2/5
Could not exit their $35 parking garage. Took them 30 min to help while I sat in my car. When finally got front desk on the phone & said I needed help - they put me on hold! Manager type person who finally came to help copped an attitude and never said how sorry they were - All of this for nearly $300/night. Could have stayed at a lesser rate hotel and been treated like a guest.
- 5/5
Clean room quite and breakfasts was good! Only thing was the internet wasnt working for the bedroom tv so couldn't link with netflix or YouTube.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect! The cleanliness, the friendly staff, and the food was great.
- 1/5
What was equally concerning was how the situation was handled afterward. I was told Kenyon (The Manager) would follow up, but despite calling the hotel numerous times and sending multiple emails, I received little to no communication. It took repeated effort on my end just to get a brief response. When I did connect with Kenyon, the interaction was rude, and extremely dismissive and lacked urgency, which is not appropriate given the nature of the issue. I was also told at the front desk that a resolution would be provided, but there has been no follow-through. Regardless of where you stay, situations can happen. What matters is how they are handled, and in this case, the lack of communication and accountability was disappointing. I would strongly recommend that future guests carefully inspect their rooms upon arrival.. OR better yet.. Just stay elsewhere, not worth the BED BUGS and rude manager.
- 5/5

- 5/5
I was surprised to be charged for parking
- 4/5
The rooms were very clean. Maid service was sporadic. Our room was not ready at check in time so the front desk reassigned us to another room The breakfast buffet was great. So many options. The managers nightly cocktail event was great. The appetizers could use an upgrade. Tortilla chips and queso was all that was served. We would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
This is the best hotel in The Woodlands. We love the staff, the location, the pool and the beautiful room and view. We love it all!
