Best Western Plus The Woodlands

The room was leaking water from the AC onto the carpeted floor. The floor was warped around the AC. There was a big roach in the room and I could not sleep thinking about the roach and possibly the floor collapsing from the leaking water. I did have an outdoor pool that we did not have a chance to use. Very small bottle of shampoo is given. We only stayed 1 night so it was enough, anything more than a night would have required more.

Good place for a one night stay while traveling. Helpful staff. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. They had fruits and a hot buffet.

The property was immaculate inside and out. The breakfast was very delicious. Will definitely stay there again.

The star was really nice. The rooms were spacious and the bedding really comfortable.There were a lot of reviews that said it had a great breakfast, but really, it was just OK. The typical American Breakfast, and it was way too early. The staff was accommodating though. There were some issues about cleanliness and and smells. We found a couple of roaches in our room.

Overall it was a good stay. The hotel itself is a bit dated and is clearly not a Hilton or Marriott, but you sort to know that going into it. Most of the staff never acknowledge you when come and go to the property. A simple good morning, good afternoon, goodnight, or hello would go a long way. I'd stay here again.

I've stayed a few nights at this location because my house was having some work done to it. It's not the most current of hotels as everything looks a bit old. This said, it was a good place to get some rest, outside of one staff member, nobody greets you as you come and go. They are doing some construction, so keep that in mind if you plan on staying there. All in all, it's not bad. Not luxury by any means, but it does the job if you just want a place to get some rest. I know they have a pool, but I didn't utilize it. I'd stay again.

It was good overall. Only things we saw: small dead roach ? in bathroom. Toilet felt lose/ shaky. The bed sheets were no changed after housekeeping. What I listed above.

The area was clean in and out of the property. The staff was very friendly and helpful, a/c was at my liking they work perfectly. The breakfast is what you expect, still delicious. Over all a very comfortable stay shout out to the owners and staff, keep up the great work.

Elevator had been broke and was not notified before arriving or booking. They only had rooms on 4th floor.

Room was great, really clean, food for breakfast was amazing, and the staff was awesome.

Room was clean, bed is a bit too firm, hallways could use a good vacuum, elevators smell like roach spray, ice machine could use a cleaning. The smell when you walk in is a bit stiff and if you get a room by the hwy , you will hear all the traffic noise.

A good stay. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and there is parking available. I recommend it, and when I return to Houston, I will stay there again.

My husband went down stairs to get breakfast for me and I thought it was great. Location the best Western was close to all of the places we had to go. Thank for all that the staff did GREAT Job ?? Everything was great ?

I really appreciated that the AC in the room actually allowed you to control the real temperature. The room was clean and amenities more than I expected. Room was very clean and had everything I needed. Amenities in the bathroom were great. My only complaint is the shower which didn't get as hot as I would have liked. I will say the employees working the breakfast were great. Overall a solid 3.5 out of 5 and I would stay here again if I needed to be close to Memorial Herman Hospital.

Way too much noise from the highway. Would have thought they would have better noise blocking at the price. Otherwise the hotel was very pleasant and the people were very nice. Parking was ok.

Nice hotel, nice staff but the room had a musty smell and it felt a bit damp in the air and bedding.

The hotel was not as advertised. Much older and less clean than advertised. Booked 2 queen bed room and was given 2 full size beds, not queens. Breakfast didn’t start until 7am. Overall disappointed with the hotel and stay

The people were nice, but the accommodations were much less than what I expected for the price. It also was right next to the highway and it was loud.

Basic accommodations at a reasonable price. Limited staff and they didnt seem too bothered to watch the front desk. The entire building has a damp musty smell. We had a rolly polly bug in our bathroom.

Great location, clean room and nicely renovated. Being near the freeway there was a lot of road noise. A little pricey but less expensive than neighboring hotels. Will stay again.

Clean. Felt safe. Easy to get to. Lot's of parking. Rooms in the front of building are a little noisy with road traffic. Asked to move to other side and it was no problem the next day. Well stocked breakfast buffet. Good beds.

Very nice, quiet room, clean, nice accommodations and the young man was SUPER friendly & nice - he seemed genuinely happy to work there. Good food too. The only down side was the bed - it made my hips hurt A LOT.

Room 408 was clean but shower head was broken and neither housekeeping or other guests reported it to maintenance. Friends staying in 416 said their sink pipe leaks and shower head was not adjustable. It would have been nice if decaf was offered in the complimentary breakfast. Good assortment of breakfast food choices. The price was good so all things considered we got what we paid for.

Fruit. She was very helpful in getting us booked for 2 additional nights. The man the next morning couldn’t find the paper she had given us, and then proceeded to offer a “discount” that was more than the rate quoted the night before. I said no thanks, we will go somewhere else. He was rude and manipulative. Later when we left, he followed us to the parking lot and lied about the rate, and actually contradicted himself. It was absolutely unacceptable behavior. The room was dirty, outdated and smelled awful. The curtains were torn and stained, and they weren’t the proper length. The heater didn’t work properly so we were miserable the whole night. I will never stay here again.

The hotel itself was built the cheapest of any structure, and walking down the hallways on third floor you can feel it sagging and moving. All night long every night there was someone pacing in their room directly above us and it kept us both up all night long as the floor construction is paper thin with no insulation, so was like a drum beating on top of us all night long. Whoever it was does not apparently sleep and just walked back and forth all night long. We went home exhausted and not well rested.

My room was facing the interstate 45 so it was noisy.

It was in a great location, close to everything I needed.

We found bed bugs and they bite us at night it was disgusting.

The air conditioning in the building didn't work well. The hallway and elevator were hot. The one on the room worked but not good I was hot all night long. The swimming pool needs to be cleaned though out the day the bugs are constantly crawling in there. The staff was nice and friendly.

Spotlessly clean hotel, daily room service and friendly and really helpful staff. It is a working persons hotel so dont expect peace and tranquility outdoors. Beds are super comfy, clean and my 10 day stay was made easy by these folk. Spotlessly clean pool made for a very needed, very relaxing end of day swim and cool down. This is my go to place when in Magnolia/Conroe area. 10 stars

Hotel had a strong, overwhelming smell of mold. My eyes were burning within 30minutes. Otherwise room was clean and sufficient. However, I ended up needing to leave after only a few hours (left in the early morning hours) due to becoming ill from the mold. It is a health hazard.

This was a business trip and for the most part i had a good experience.

Night shift front desk lady was awesome. She changes our room when our Ac wasn’t working and also helped me with the dryer.

The pool and area around the pool were nice and clean.

It's a nice place, but it smelled a bit like mildew. Tho I think it may have been flooded in the last storm and that's why. Look forward to going back when it's all dried out.
