I loved the quiet environment and room service for clean towels came to me. I didn't like the rust in tub or sink

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was comfy and clean.

It was ok the lobby was the nicest and cleanest place compared to the rooms. They are somewhat modern with mini kitchen however they are old and the bathroom was not very clean and updated the doors as well as the rooms are just vacuumed in places that are visible but not all is clean, we found a cockroach in our room and when we went to kill it as it hid behind the tv and dresser it was completely dirty and just did not make us feel clean.

I'm a police officer and was there to take a class, I had to leave my off-duty weapon in the room while I went to class. Someone got in my room and stole it. Management didn't believe it was broken into because the door wasn't kicked in. While searching for my weapon, I moved the bed completely out of the way and found a condom! When I told management about that, he just laughed and said people leave them all the time.

If we needed any clean towels, we would have to bring the old towels back for an exchange. You’re not provided with dishwashing soap or dish sponge and have to buy your own. I did like having their convenience of restaurants close by.

This place is a horrible and disgusting, never ever book your room to this place , the toilet and shower is not working properly especially the shower , and when you ask for help they don’t care at all, I saw a lot of cockroaches I took the picture of it , the area is also not safe , plz my recommendation stay away from these king of places

Quick check-in and checkout with friendly, helpful staff make your stay easy. Plenty of restaurants and popular food chains within walking distance of the property. Excellent night lighting throughout the property, safe, secure property. Cost efficient budget friendly rates. I would definitely stay here again.

The safety of the property. Very well lit at night and good visibility of surroundings. The stairwell was lit very well also.

The best cost effective hotel I’ve ever stayed in in my life. Staff, amenities, location, cost, the whole 9 was literally everything you could ask for in a cheap hotel. No complaints.

Nothing Staff was unaware of anything i had paid for the room and they refused to accept the booking even when i provided them with the confirmation .. I lost a lot of money on a good faith of Booking.com ,never experienced the same . I then had to move to Holiday inn next door where i paid almost double cause i had no where to go with my family and luggage.

Checking in, we ended up being given 3 different rooms. I had requested a downstairs due to this visit being because I was having surgery. The first two rooms were both upstairs and we kept having to come down to let the guy at the front desk know the room you are trying to give us in upstairs (there is no elevator). Finally got a room downstairs and it was disgusting, it smelled terrible, dirty and there were literally used condoms in the drain of the bathtub. We were going to stay 4 nights but only stayed 1 because I could not go back to that room after my procedure.
- 4/5
the rooms was very comfortable and clean and the staff was super helpful and nice. the only complaint is other residence making a lot of noise like playing music aloud in and out of their rooms and upper floor residents stomping
- 4/5
Clean and easy to approach Internet in room was not working properly. Hot water kettle should be made available

Not high end, not ghetto. Seems like a decent working class place to stay for the money. Good location if you need to take to the Park and Ride into downtown Houston for a bit.
- 4/5
The place was clean, safe and one section of the hotel was under construction as the rooms are being remodel. My stay was comfortable, the kitchen was functional but had no kitchenware. My room had no trashcan. Will stay again.

First time to stay there. Pleasantly surprised how nice it was. Bed was super comfy. Used the full sized fridge but not the oven. Pet friendly as well. My 2 dogs enjoyed the huge field next to the parking lot.
- 1/5
They didn't have my reservation even though I booked it over a month in advance and called days after I booked it to confirm I had a room and whoever I spoke on the phone with, said my room was confirmed.
- 3/5
Chose the place based on sobesta sinoli suites in other locations but this one need much better maintenance. That was good. Ok for one or two days stay but would rather choose other places in future.
- 5/5
It was a nice stay. But no grab n go breakfast.

Very nice place

I thought Sonesta Simply Suites was an exceptional hotel. The price was fair and the room was much more than I was expecting. It felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room.👍

When I booked and paid for the room it was supposed to be a double bed, but I was given a single Queen with a pull-out bed at check- in the young lady was sweet, but she gave a room key to someone else's room that was occupied, and said it was her manager that assigned the room. I accepted the room due to us being tired for the day. The next morning I did receive a phone call the next morning while Ibwas on my way to work asking me if I would like to keep the room or transfer to another. Due to the price difference I decided to stay there. Besides the staff needing additional training for customer service, I would stay there again.

Affordable, convenient close to highways, clean room

The lady that works the morning shift (6-2) fair skin ( African American lady ) that wears glasses. Very rude and unprofessional. Made my stay very much uncomfortable, had one Hispanic house keeper, walking (sneaking) to the outside door of my hotel room just to see if I was smoking inside the room . Just so she could put me and my child out the hotel (nun refunded). I asked for Fresh Towels ( which I never received) until next shift .

The experience was horrible. When we arrived to the property the man at the front desk told us that he did not have a room for us even though he acknowledged that we had a clear cut reservation on the hotels.con app. We were stranded without anywhere to stay at 11:30 pm and all hotels were fully booked because of the power outages in Houston. This experience was genuinely terrible, it is shockign that we were able to fully pay for and book a room when they do not have space for us.
- 1/5
Property charged me $79 for a no-show, which is way more than a single night, even if they were advised of the no show. Moreover, the property had no internet or power, yet the no show charge during the Beryl community emergency situation was going on at the time, a d the reason for the no show.
- 3/5
The room its self was nice. The AC was leaking and the carpet soaked. Staff was friendly.

I have two kids and had no idea that it was outside only. I will never stay or recommend anyone to stay there. I am had knats in the room. I have 2 one year twins not good conditions for themI left the hotel because of the storm I would have appreciated if I got some type of refund. I am very disappointed.

The manager Terricko was extemely rude from day 3 on, she equates a dog's bark to mean it's aggressive, she knocked on my door knowing I was asleep to bring my dirty linens back to me to wash cause of dog hair, wanted the clean ones bk, asked in disgust if I let her sleep w/me despite not providing bedding as stated on the website. I complained to the overnight guy Sandy about her attitude and trying to give me back dirty linens. He said it's cause she has to deal with a lot working here. I went to pick a package up and as she was checking people in she said "I didn't have an attitude with you" then carried on. I avoided her after that but when I went to get a package she walked in, I smiled, said "Hey, how you doing?", she looked me up and down, rolled her eyes and said nothing. She never acknowledged me as I stood there waiting for her to finish with the person ahead of me, then a lady walks in, she gets her package, then mine, all without a word still. Days before that Sandy the overnight guy who normally walks past my room on the way to his, chose to stop & stare in when door was open even when my dog began warning him & I said please go, he still stood there. The manager Nisha never replied to my calls or message about it. I was told they are well able to get dog hair out of the blankets by a reliable source btw. Ph line didn't work, nor bath vent, vending take $ off your card, bugs & toxic plants all over, no coffee/grabngo bkfst/no clean linens once/SWAT posted, etc.

Nice stay

It was a motel. I didn’t get the room I requested. It had a funny smell. It had roaches. I’ll try the Royal Sonesta. Maybe it’s better than this.
- 5/5
It was a great stay the rooms are very big just needs to be updated but overall nice place to stay

Description syas that there is coffee and tea in the lobby, but there is none in the lobby.

Nasty linens/ unfriendly staff

Great price for the same day booking.

This was definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had regarding customer service at a hotel or extended stay. The manager, Terry and Megan as well az the maintenance and housekeeping, such nice and accommodating staff i have never seen this before its rare to get a customer service that good .
- 4/5
I had no problems with my stay, but one thing for sure was the smell of cigarette smoke and that's bc i got a non-smoking. I guess people smoke in the rooms eventhough its non-smoking. Room was really penetrated, that after my check out all my things smelled like cigarette smoke. But other than that bed was comfy, check-in and out was fast.
- 3/5
Rooms are very dark, there are only two very dim sources of light. Chair is uncomfortable not suitable for long use and internet malfunctions randomly, not suitable for calls.

The space was perfect for us but , room smelled liked cigarettes and they did not have breakfast like they said and was not smoke free . Was booked the wrong room to begin with we had to go up the second floor with 5 children just to find out it wasn’t what i reserved.. we did not fit and the only room available was the cigarette smelling room
- 4/5
there were a lot of dead insects in the room (thank good thing they were dead) the room smelled of mold and the smell was very strong. As for the rest, it was fine.
- 1/5
I checked in and was not told that there was no hot water. When I called the office she said the property had no hot water at all and she “forgot” to tell me. She said someone was coming to fix it. I wake up in the morning still no hot water. This is unacceptable. If she would’ve told me I would’ve had the option to go somewhere else. It was NEVER fixed.

Reserved room was given another and toilet didn’t flush a was charged for rm for 6 got room for 4
- 5/5
Everything was perfect, it was clean and the sofa bed is really big. I called to get sheets for the sofa and I inspected everything, no bed bugs. However the breakfast is literally just tea and coffee, don’t rely on it.
- 1/5
Supposed to be non smoking. Rooms smelled of cigarette smoke. Small roach on night stand. Dead fly in bathroom sink.
- 2/5
The place was run down and looked old. I will not stay at another Extended Stay America again. Two thumbs down and five roach rating out of ten.
- 2/5
We arrived early and were greeted very warmly and promised that housekeeping would start a room for us next and they would call us when it was ready but that never happened. We went back 15 minutes to regular check in time and were told that our room would be another hour to an hour and a half. It wasn't ready until about an hour after check in time. They were out of pillows, the toilets had trouble flushing in the lobby and in the room, personal items and hairs were left in the bathroom by the previous guest, our room had no phone, no table or desk to write or eat at, and no towel bars because they were all broken. The door had no latch lock at the top because the swing arm was missing. There was no back to hold the batteries in on the TV remote. There was no wifi. The breakfast was a choice of a dry muffin, an oatmeal packet, or a granola bar. Our neighbors 2 doors down were smoking weed on the walkway in front of their room. On a positive note, they did provide coffee at breakfast time and the A/C, refrigerator, TV, and cable worked in our room, so there's that. We accidentally left our car unlocked overnight and nothing was touched so that's a good thing.

And i have my family in the car at 1 am. At the time search another place to rest it was the worst experience ever.
- 4/5
Great

The biggest problem we had though was that there were cockroaches - we informed staff during checkout (we found them the night before we left) and they just said “okay” as if it was no big deal. No sorry/apology, anything. Just gross.

Big fridge. Stove and microwave...nice!

Didn’t inform they will shift off I was in the middle of dying my hair . Waited 3 hours for water and they couldn’t make any accommodations . I literally almost burned my scalp cause only hot water was coming out and had to use a cup to rinse off my hair
- 4/5
Our experience was great. he only was if we wanted to cook anything we would have to request pots and pans from the office. Other than that, the stay was great !!
- 3/5
The room was clean and comfortable. The motel location was a bit "sketchy". As a single woman, I would NOT stay here again.
- 1/5
This property had people in front of our door every 2 hours, even late at night smoking and drinking. Talking so loudly. Did but feel safe at all
- 1/5
Nothing was right there was corkage in the bathroom no shower curtains. Had to ask for towels that were only provided when we took in the dirty one
- 2/5
The Room was small TV you had to have it turned a certain way to work, the bed was a small queen and too close to the wall and I didn't like the fact we had to go to the front desk to get our own towels and linen and it had a kitchenette and we also had to go to the front desk and get what all we needed to cook with like a pan, plates, coffee pot, basically housekeeping didn't deliver anything to your room you had to go and get your own things and take your dirty towels back to the front desk whatever you needed you had to go to the front desk and get it yourself😏 the area was ok location nice lots of other business nearby stores, restaurants, gas station We stayed 3 days because everything else in that area was booked.

A great place too rest. Very clean , a pool too swim , good restaurants walking distance, and stores in range of .5 miles
- 5/5
The staff was very accomodating no matter the time of day as I usually checkout early; very quiet, clean and professional.
- 5/5
Rachel the GM is the best. I dislike the pool being out of order since after Memorial Day but they are working on it so that is all that matters. ❤️

The cleaning ladies are not great at there job leave rooms dirty and state they are still clean
