Breakfast was really good! Location perfect, close to the Dunhuang Plaza with a lot of good Chinese food. There is an AMC nearby, so it is perfect for a stay when you don't want to go sightseeing in the hot weather.

elevators were not centrally located. they were all the way on one side of the hotel. carpet in room felt dirty.

The hotel establishment was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful, courteous, and always available. Fresh baked cookies was a highlight to our evenings. I recommend this hotel and will certainly stay again.

Everything was wonderful ! The room was huge with a kitchenette and full size refrigerator. They provided blankets and extra pillows. They even had two washers and dryers for free! Every staff member was great until our final day. Carmen was the staff member in charge that morning. She came by and deactivated our room key at 10:30am. We were paid til 11sm. My husband was packing the car when he realized his key card didn’t work anymore. When I turned the key cards in, I informed Carmen that I was aware of what she did when she was at our door earlier. She wasn’t apologetic at all. I’m not happy with her customer service AT ALL!

I had been staying at this property for several days while waiting to move into my new apartment and was extending my stay one day at a time. A reservation issue occurred after a third-party booking changed my dates. I worked with hotel management to resolve it and was assured it was being handled. At no point was I told there was a deadline to arrive or that my reservation would be refused. After work, I booked another night, paid for it, and arrived around 11:00 p.m. with my children expecting to check in. Instead, the front desk informed me that management had instructed staff not to accept my reservation. Had I been told this earlier, I could have booked one of the several nearby hotels before arriving late at night with my children. What happened next was heartbreaking. My children and I were left without accommodations and ultimately spent the night outside the hotel while our belongings remained inside the room we had been staying in. On top of that, multiple charges and refunds tied up hundreds of dollars, leaving my bank account overdrawn during an already stressful move. This review is not about a simple reservation mistake—those can happen. It is about how management handled the situation. Communication was poor, there was no meaningful effort to help us find a solution, and the outcome left a family without a place to sleep.

The property was well maintained and very cozy. The young lady who checked me in was incredibly sweet and made the check-in process smooth and easy. My only suggestion would be to have a full stove in the room. Aside from that, I would definitely stay here again.

This was a last minute booking after a horrible Airbnb experience and voluntary cancellation due to uncleanliness. I was relieved to find quick check in, pleasant staff, clean room and comfortable sleeping accommodations. This hotel saved the day and I was very pleased with my experience.

No reg coffee was in area for 45 min. No blanket. Alarm was sounding for several hours.

The hotel is located in a nice and convenient neighborhood and there are many restaurants and attractions nearby. The room was large & had its own kitchen which was helpful since we were traveling with a toddler.

Nice dog park in back. Not the best breakfast. One rude staff member. Took my dog outside and upon coming back in to get coffee in the lobby and go back to my room. The staff at the desk flipped out about it. Hilton charges 75$ to have a pet, yet staff is rude about getting a coffee with a pet.

Always nice to stay there!

Night shift guy, after 11 PM, wasn’t very friendly or helpful. My daughter needed help at the counter purchasing some snacks and sat at the table and watched. Did not come to the counter to help but rather waited for us to find him. I was told the lobby tv could not be changed. It is set to stay on the weather channel. I have stayed at other Home 2 Suites and this was not an issue. I have been given the remote to change the channel, no problem. Back to the night shift guy. We ordered a large meal to feed multiple families to enjoy in the lobby. This came with a large box. We used the box for our trash. Rather then just leave it there, I asked him if there was a large trash can to out this, perhaps the kitchen as a large enough bin. Instead of displaying good customer service and handling this for me, like many other hotels we have stayed in, he had me dump it all in a small trash can then breakdown the box to fit. This allowed him to continue to sit on his laptop and be unbothered.

I also took some clothes down to be washed and they dry cleaned them when i asked to only wash them. Other then that my stay was okay.

This hotel is outdated. The light above our bathroom flickered when you turned it on plus the bathroom is super small. Carpet looks old and gross. Our AC worked great and staff was also sweet. But we will be booking a hotel that’s updated the next time we visit.

Staff did not tell us that we had to inform them to clean our room on day three… Shower gel and bath was empty by day three night before the end of our stay… Otherwise pretty clean and OK place… Breakfast needs a little work

I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean. The staff were very friendly.

Super clean rooms. We actually moved from a different brand hotel to this one and we were very pleased after having a horrible experience at another hotel, which was not the same chain as this one.

Room was nice. The only issue we had is when you walk into the hotel it smelled like sewer. Very unpleasant smell.

Yes. The room was clean and staff was courteous. There was a drain smell in the corridor of 4th floor and around the elevator area. The smell was too strong.

I liked the property very much until some of my personal property disappeared from my room. I asked them to find it giving the benefit of a doubt to the cleaning staff who may have mistakenly taken it while cleaning the room. It was not found. It was not returned to me. I received no feedback from them on what had happened. Very disappointing.

Was great, except the breakfast was awful! We stay at home 2 for the breakfast and have always enjoyed it…don’t know what went wrong. Staff was great though!

We enjoy booking a hotel with a suite that includes a separate living area plus a kitchen. When we checked in they informed us that our room was not available but they could put us another room that was not a suite and my brother who was on the trip would get his own room at no extra charge for our entire stay. However, they called us around 2ish the next day and informed us that our suite was available and we would have to move to our suite. So we had to drive all the way back to the hotel, pack and move to our new room which was an inconvenience. Plus we had roaches in our room too which was gross. There were two really sweet front desk ladies that helped us. Carmen however, was not that sweet and had an attitude.

Everything was nice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I hope that the restroom sliding door locks or fully closed. The front desk needs a bell/ringer so that they know when somebody’s standing at the front desk

I liked that they had a yogurt machine...however ontop of the yougurt machine needs to be wiped down. The floors to the room needed vacuuming and upon getting off the elevator (at least on the 3rd floor) smelled like dogs and poo a bit, which i guess can be expected because its a dog friendly hotel. Overall I really liked the stay; the staff was nice, room was nice. I will return.

It was a nice quiet, clean hotel. The breakfast was OK a little better than your typical.

The free breakfast was amazing! I've never stayed at a hotel that had such a variety of choices and they were different every morning for the 4 days I was there. Maria does a fantastic job plus she was so friendly and helpful you really felt like you were home! The rooms, lobby, and hallways were exceptionally clean and well cared for. My only complaint is the pool area has 3 lounge chairs and all 3 were ripped off the frame from the foot 3/4 of the way to the back. They weren't safe to even try to sit on.

The breakfast was subpar. Their method of serving eggs, sausage, hasbrowns, etc. didn't do the job and food was lukewarm at best. And please don't keep the butter so cold that it can't be spread on a waffle. And the waffle mix was too thin. The oatmeal container was overfilled with water and it was boiling out the sides of the pot and could easily have splashed boiling water on a guest. Pretty much the worst self serve breakfast I've had in a long while.

It was my second time here and I enjoyed it very much. The rooms are very nice & the breakfast options are great!

Check out was very easy too. The staffs were very responsive. Overall my stay was very enjoyable.

Some of the staff were not properly trained. The rooms at the ground floor had wet carpets after strong rain. During a downpour the staff have to put towels by the rear door of the building since water was pounding outside of it and was threatening to come in. The lobby access from the driveway also get flooded. The hotel has Poor drainage resulting to a room that was moldy and wet with a wet dog smell. The breakfast was barely ok. The staff preparing breakfast seemed rude and was not so friendly. Only Carmen the manager and a a guy who managed the front desk at night was friendly plus a maintenance person. No manager on duty at night so if problems occur, it’s a problem cause the front desk is not trained to handle complaints by people booked through Expedia. Free laundry was much appreciated. The shopping the area is ok. It’s also beside an AMC Theater. I wouldn’t stay here again.

There was a large group of young boys from some sports team/event. They used the hallway as a playground, running, screaming from 830-10pm. They then moved to the pool and the noise increased with yelling and screaming. 2 calls to the desk person did no good. The hotel staff did not control the situation. I was trying to rest after local outpatient surgery. Horrible night.

Everything about my stay was perfect. There was near by restaurants as well as being near by to the freeway. My absolute only complaint was the mattress. While I did not expect it to feel like o hold I did expect some degree of comfort. This mattress left myself and my boyfriend extremely stiff the next morning. We tossed and turned the entire night.

There was an unpleasant smell when you walked into the hotel. There is an outdoor sofa set right infront of the property which is not appealing at all. Should be near the pool or somewhere in the back… there as a family with kids sitting there making noise and we’re there for hours since we checked in, freshened up went out for dinner came back and they were just hanging out there… so all am saying is it does not look good for the rapport of the hotel. Should consider to move this set somewhere else.

Room was updated, clean, and comfortable. Dog-friendly…although I never smelled any hint of dogs on the premises. It has a small dog park area that I thought was an added touch. We were only there for a couple of days, however I’d book again if needed

Roaches! Everything is ok until you turn on the light at 3 am! Roaches in the kitchenette and bathroom areas! Disgusting!
