They offer no morning coffee or breakfast. But there are places close by for that. Very clean hotel and quiet. I will stay here again

The worst check experience i ever had

Hotel room was dusty and dirty. The bathroom was worse. The door had too many holes under and there were too many cockroaches everywhere. Overall I will not recommend this to anybody again.. there were hairs everywhere and dust...

So I will say that it is in the process of being remodeled. The room I was in has already been remodeled and was fine and had a very nice shower. No coffee maker of complimentary soaps like most ( they had dispensers in the shower, but they were empty) but this is very minor. The big issue I had was last night.I woke up through a small roach crawling on me. I switched beds and had no other problems, and they are remodeling, and to be fair, this is texas, it can happen, but it was unsettling. Other than that the hotel was fine.

But I am rating this room with 2 stars because once my family and I were unloading the car the lady owner who works the front desk too came to me yelling and shaking the paper. I went up to her to see what was going on and she told me I had the wrong dates for check in and told me “ give me the keys” and snatched them out of my hand. I was very shocked when that happened and if front my kids I asked what was that for and she kept yelling “this is your fault” and hitting the paper and I looked at it confused and I realized I booked the wrong dates.. I told her she didn’t have to be so rude and snatching things out of my hands she walked away still yelling about it. It was a honest mistake and simple fix that took 5 mins. We stayed but would never again and don’t recommend this place. It’s definitely grimey with bad service.

It was very nice and the price was just right

The room was clean enough but it was dated and I would have preferred a cleaner room.

It's nice to see that there is some renovating going on here. I've come to this hotel for probably the last 8 years in my business and when I travel maybe 10 years, but other than that, there is a lot of sadness. No coffee makers when you're paying $80 plus on a weeknight and you're on hotels.com when it used to be a little more accommodating..
- 3/5
Smelled like cheap air freshener. One Elect Receptacle non-functioning. No cups, no soap in dispenser. Lighting is all high temp blue LED making it less than cozy. Front Lobby is under construction. Hopefully the entire hotel is under renovation and will meet expectations down the road.

You get what you paid for I didn’t have so much to complain about it
- 0.5/5
I liked how cheap it was at booking. The location is convenient to things in the Woodlands. Close to i45. I did not like the cockroaches, chair destroyed by an animal previously, stains on everything from the comfort chair to the bedsheets. No place to walk

Horrible odor

The general manager was mean to me because I was a little late paying for the room for one night by about 30 minutes and threaten to call the police on me
- 2.5/5
Got everything you need except ice maker is always off. Someone kept banging on the doors and throwing rocks. Went asked the front desk and he wasn’t helpful at all.

The guy even brought out a device to try and open the door he still couldn’t open the door good thing my cousin was on the other side to let me in. I Will NEVER Come to this location Ever again ! The Indian lady was very Disrespectful

The room was lacking, especially the floor of the shower, it was so slick that it was hard to move without falling. The air conditioner did not cool very well at all. The ice machine was broken. No coffee for the coffee pot. The room was supposed to be soundproof, but it wasn't. The Traffic noise was so loud that it made it hard to sleep
- 2/5
Hotel was very average. Not in good shape. There were no towels in room. Shower door was broken and replaced with curtain that did not fit. Phone did not work so you couldn't call front desk. Only good thing was price and that it was close to the venue that i was attending. Will not stay again

The first room I was given had a tiny bit of mold on the wall and it smelled like heavy mold. I called the front desk and requested another room. She hurried to let me in another room. The second room was decent I didn't find mold thank God. Oh they should upgrade their lamp lights on the end table. The plugs didn't work so there was no plug to charge my phone. Good thing I brought my power bank. Also, when I turned everything off and was ready to go to sleep I kept getting awakened by a bunch of loud thumping and what sounded like people running in the room above me. I called the front desk to make a complaint but was informed there was no one in that room. I came to the realization that there must have been people running up and down the stairs located right next to my room. But it was a constant thing for three hours. The thin walls made it difficult to fall asleep. But I am grateful for the hot shower comfy bed and quietness until I was ready for bed. I did tell my boyfriend we are never booking cheap rooms again.

Overall, it was a good place to stay. The bathroom was clean, the bed was comfortable. The floor could have been cleaner
- 2/5
It had a musty smell and you could hear the traffic.
- 3/5
The lady who checked us in was very nice. The room was large with high ceilings giving a spacious feel. It was not as clean as it should be - not so bad that we felt we needed to leave (bedding, towels, sink, toilet were clean) but we probably won't stay here again. Floors felt sticky, lots of dead bugs (including one smashed and left on the ceiling!), one bedside lamp not working, the other bedside lamp had no bulb so room too dark, no hair dryer. I've stayed other places that had body wash and shampoo dispensers on the shower wall like this room had but it's the first time I've seen hand soap and lotion dispensers on the sink wall as well! I did like that there's no carpet and I also liked the walkin shower.

We were a group of teenagers who keeded a cheap and safe stay. Over all we felt safe, the staff was very nice shen we had issues. Our room was very clean!
- 5/5
They need to improve on the essential items in the room. Not enough towels, creamer/sugar for coffee was dried up old. No blow dryer was provided, Door
- 5/5
There was a pretzel in the bathroom, but it blended into the floor, an easy mistake. We were satisfied for the money we paid. The shower was nice and hot. Plenty of restaurants nearby. 1 mile from the Cynthia Pavillion to see a concert. The staff was very nice. We would totally stay there again! Oh, and it smelled fine and our room was not noisy and there were no weird people or hobos around.

Old noisey run diwn nothing works. So much road noise. Front desk guy could care less. Waste of money
- 3/5
They couldn’t find my reservation, but after 5-10 minutes they found it somewhere. They said it didn’t download to their site? Anyway the room has been updated quite a bit. For the money, it was fine.
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 4/5
We just stayed overnight as a lay over. It was clean and comfortable. No problems as all.
- 2/5
The only thing good was that the beds were made and clean. There was trash in the trash cans, half empty soda containers on the nightstand. Previous occupant clothes left in the bathroom. An open bar of soap on the bathroom counter for all to use. There was no iron to go with the ironing board.
- 3/5
My friend had a hard time to get on the bed. The beds were too high. There was neither coffee in the lobby nor in the room. There was no water in the fridge.
- 3/5
Check was sort of slow. Room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Probably from the person that smoked on the toilet and left a little pile of ashes of the toilet paper bracket.

Scottish Inn and Suites on I 45 N, Houston, Tx, did not reflect what we experienced when we looked at the room. We expected the room to look like the web-sight, simular to a Best Western. Not only did the rooms appearence not meet our expections, the smell was overwhelming, a coverup of a college frat house is the first thing that I thought of. When I explained to the desk clerk that we needed to be assigned a different room, the next room results were the same. The clerk was not friendly or understanding. We lost our money and did not stay. I would not recogmmend this Scottish Inn and Suites. Hotels.com did not give us credit for the booking of a one night stay but gave us a $25.00 credit if we use Hotels.com. again.
- 2/5
Where to start. The front desk “manager” didn’t come when I checked in or out. $15 early check in fee. The room was severally beaten up with chunks of wood missing out of night stands and tables. Would recommend looking else where.

No breakfast, although it was listed. Coffee maker in room was dirty. Still had used filters in it. No cups for coffee in room. Room needed to be dusted. Drawers dirty with dead bugs in them.
