Staybridge Suites San Antonio - Schertz by IHG

The breakfast was as expected but still nice to have, I would stsy again for the price.

The toilet paper roll in our Suite (#411) fell of the hinge. Also the night stand drawer kept opening on its own (the one closest to the restroom) in the middle of the night. (lol) and the Paper Towel rack was not screwed all the way in. Other than that we had a wonderful experience enjoyed our time there. The staff and breakfast was amazing!

Wonderful stay and clean rooms. Staff was helpful and the studio had everything we needed during our stay. Hotel had complimentary breakfast with various option. Location was less than 30 mins from Sea World and a grocery store. We will stay again when we come back to Sea World!

The room was well equipped for our needs. It was super clean. Breakfast was delicious and well rounded. Front desk staff were not as helpful as I thought thou.

Breakfast was ok but the elevator broke for 4 days and we had to climb the stairs to the 3rd floor with luggage. Some days they turned off water and the multiple rooms had electrical issues. The dryers which are free were slow and old.

We got a room on the 4th floor so having to go up 4 flights of stairs with 2 kids and luggage and staff didn't even offer to help. Elevators finally got fixed the day before we left. I pay for us to have a peaceful and restful vacation. This was horrible and no even a discount or incentive for our terrible experience.

There elevator was out again

Stayed on top level, elevator broke overnight, and that was a pain. Wanted a cold drink, the cooler in the store in the lobby was broken, not cool, dripping water. Staff didn't seem to care. Probably won't stay here again.

Not terribly convenient when you need to ice an injury!

The guy with the dreads was very nice We got sick do to no ace and the unit was hot it went out so my husband throw up everywhere do to the heat

I'll always choose Staybridge anytime we visit the area. The room perfectly met my families needs. Breakfast was great. The parking lot was well lit and with easy access to the building. The staff was excellent and all very friendly.

Quick check in, good parking, clean and secured.

I had to take a cold shower. The shower was cold on Saturday morning and when I called she said they were doing maintenance on it. The shower didn’t get any warmer for us until after lunch time. Also the room would get warm in the middle of the night. Over all I like staying at the hotel.

Nice and clean rooms, lobby, some friendly and not so friendly staff. Breakfast is AMAZING. I would come back any time.

Hotel was pleasant and clean, easy to get to from the highway or Randolph AfB. About 15 min drive to the base. Needs a bar or restaurant vs making people leave he hotel after work to get a drink and relax

The hotel was clean, parking was great and the staff was very friendly. The only drawback was the pet smell. In our room we could smell every dog that's ever been there. We love dogs but it was overwhelming

One comment on this stay, thank goodness by the 2nd night the elevator was working because pulling a heavy suitcase and rolling working up to the second floor via the stairs was not fun

Elevator was not working during the whole stay. Had to climb to 4th floor with all the luggage and other stuff. Otherwise it was nice place.

Hotel was nice, breakfast was good, hotel was clean BUT when we arrived, when we checked in we were told the elevator wasn’t working, an our room was on the 4th floor. This would have been fine if it was only our one day of our stay. It was not working the entire 5 days of our reservation. I think they should have made better accommodation, move us floors or check with other IHG hotels in the area for same accommodation. A bit disappointing seeing I use IHG hotels all the time!

This stay would have been a 5 star, but the elevator was out for my entire visit. I was on the 4th floor and carrying up luggage and taking that trip up and down every day or when I needed to quickly leave, was not convenient. Other than that, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was great.

The hotel has not had a working elevator since Feb with no estimated repair date. When customers arrived that is when they had the option to cancel the reservation. Spring break, all hotels wete practically sold out.

I would give it 5 stars but the elevator was broken and we were on the 4th floor! Whew! Especially with small kids.

I always stay at this place because I feel safe here and the breakfast is delicious!! Rooms are ALWAYS clean and beautiful. Staff very nice, polite and professional!

We stayed there for a week on the 4th floor with no working elevator. Buffet for breakfast was pretty good. Staff were nice. Other problem was that the room temperature was either too hot or too cold.

Shower was discolored and smelled as if someone had smoked in it. Front desk was not well tended to. Plus 7+ cars were broken into in the morning. Hotel was not aware until police informed them. No proper cameras in the lot along with lights in the lot out. Cars parked right in front of the front door were broken into. Our truck was broken into and when asked for their report they said that they did not have one and would get to it later when someone else got in.

Very courteous staff and the location was so convenient . Would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff

Room was clean and cool when we arrived. The spacious room was everything we needed for our family. While it seemed a little dated it was very clean and well maintained. We definitely plan to stay here on our next visit

The staff was very friendly! Room was spacious and clean. It was cool in room and the thermostat actually worked which is something I care about! We were a group of 3 so sometimes temperatures can get uncomfortable and fluctuate-but not during this stay 🙌 I would stay here again!

This place felt like a home away from home. The front desk was respectful and courteous. The Queen bed, pillows, sheets, and couch were all so comfortable. The small kitchen, shampoo/bodywash/handsoap/body lotion, and complimentary breakfast were convenient. I don’t think I will stay at any hotel but this place. What this hotel lacked in a view made up for all the amenities. Most importantly, this hotel being pet friendly for my best friend to join me on this trip was wonderful. I almost didn’t want to go home because it was sooo nice!!!

I had booked a room with two beds, I got a room woth one bed. My son slept on the couch which was not a fold out. Other than that, the hotel was nice

The accommodations, staff, atmosphere were simply inviting from start to finish.

The property was one of the best we've stayed in! We had a suite which is a living room separate from rhe bedroom, with a second TV. The kitchenn was stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and a coffee pot. It even had a dishwasher. The room and area were very quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels and was quite large. I'd definitely stay there again!

I'm only giving this site a 3 star rating. The sofa bed in 203 was stain with pee and blood. Upon arrival the hotel wasn't even ready but they did check us into another room. I did tell the front desk about the issue so hopefully they will change it. Food was fantastic. Definitely needs a little updating.

Loved it! Best hotel I’ve stayed in so far. Recommended to anyone going to San Antonio area. It is in the center of everything.

The hotel is very nice, but you advertise a jacuzzi, the jacuzzi needs to be operational. Room 419 does not have a shower curtain and should. And the fan is freezing up, probably wore out. That could be a fire hazard. Other than that, the property is clean and well-lit parking lot.
