Hampton Inn & Suites Schertz

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel, I have actually stayed at a Hampton Inn twice before. I will be in the area next month and will stay there again. The young lady (Shana) who checked me in at the front desk is so polite and extremely helpful. I have no complaints, only compliments. Thank you for a pleasant stay at the Schertz Hampton Inn.

This was one of the best smelling hotels I’ve been in - in a while. It was fresh and pleasant and didn’t smell like a cleaner. Also, the soaps and body wash smelled great too! (Not salty or earthly like others.) Staff was super friendly.

1. There was construction going on at the time of my visit. I wish I had known this before hand. 2. The purpose of the trip was to watch WWE Premium Live Events (PLEs); however we were not abl eto connect our phone to the in room TV to watch the PLE. The staff was not knowdlageable to tell us what we needed to do. We even purchased a TV from Walmart to connect to the hotel's internet, but it still did not work.

Enjoyed my stay everything was perfect. Room cleanliness, staff attentiveness, location convenience, and food, pool area was very nice.

When I arrived to the property for a two night stay, I was told that I had already checked in and I reassured them I had not. The hotel called my room and realized they gave a different family my room because we had the same last name and the hotel was now full. I was shocked at what I was hearing. I was then told that I didn't book the stated room that I booked, the suite with a kitchenette and a pull out couch. I reassured the front desk that I did and eventually was told that she realized what I was talking about, but it was Expedias fault because it happens all the time and they overbook their hotels availability. The front desk in the evening were so casual and acting like this happens all the time. I book through Expedia often and I have never experienced such a poor situation. After about 30 minutes, I was finally given a standard 2 queen room, where I had 3 people sleeping in the same bed and it was extremely uncomfortable and frustrating. I was asked to put all of my belongings behind the front desk in the morning because they needed to clean my room and move me to another room the next day. I said absolutely not, I'm not putting all our stuff behind their front desk for their mistake. On night 2, we were able to move to the assigned room but it was still such a hassle and exhausting. We paid for the suite and got a standard room the first night after pleding with them to give me a room and we were able to get the paid room the second night.

We found everything accommodating and to our liking. Hotel has a great location, also. Breakfast was good and allowed starting your day without a rush.

Beds were comfortable and room was clean. There is nothing g nice I can say about the breakfast. Just not good.

Room was dirty, we booked a suite with 2 beds and a pull out sofa. We only got 2 beds so I had to sleep on the floor so my wife and kids could sleep on the beds, because the didn’t have any extra rooms or pull out beds.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, good breakfast options, however room could be kept up a little. There were two dead scorpions in the bathroom light fixture.

The Hampton was a total gem especially for the relatively low price. Very clean, helpful staff and an adequate breakfast to boot. Beds also slept well and the hotel is well sound proofed. Highly recommend.

Location Construction.. had to walk outside and around the building to get to front desk. No water was offered. Ice machine empty. Was not what I’m used to from Hampton

We had a person call our room who was staying in the room below us to complain about the noise. We had literally just walked into our room. I didn't feel safe or comfortable with another guest contacting us directly in our room. I advised the person attending the front desk that if the guest is traveling for business she should prepare for some noise in a hotel. We were traveling with small children and one was extremely tired and fussy, we didn't need the additional stress of another guest.

There was Nooooo parking, literally, had to park at Chili's next door. Everything was being renovated, the breakfast was served NOT in the lobby but the meeting room because it was being renovated so it was packed. They should Emphasize that on the stay. Never again.

Clean and comfortable. Large walk in shower. The bed placement in the room was awkward and not facing the TV. They are going through renovations and the lobby was closed so we had to go find a side door to enter, but it’s going to be very nice when they finish.

Staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room was extremely clean. The A/C was blowing cold upon arrival and was a great treat after a long day outside.

My biggest gripe is the shower. Upon arrival we were given a Handicap room. The problem with the room was the shower fixture wasn't functioning properly. It needs to be fixed or replaced. Ps the toilet paper is subpar.

staff very helpful and polite however it would have been nice to know that they were remodeling rooms daily prior to booking. No one advised after booking either, only found out upon check in. Lots of noise from rooms directly above, morning and evening.

If you are looking for ultra-modern "glitz," this might not be your first choice. However, if you value consistency, cleanliness, and a friendly staff over shiny new wallpaper, this Hampton Inn is a fantastic value. It’s a reliable, four-star stay that does the basics better than most.

The breakfast menu had an added bonus: chocolate waffles!!!!! The staff was courteous. The rooms were spacious. The bathroom was underwhelming. The shower ran extra water on the bottom and through the spout but overall good experience. I would stay at the property again.

Clean room. Staff gave me a fan for night time noise filter, which I appreciated very much. Parking was limited due to construction, but thankfully that was the only construction related issue I had which was understandable. Breakfast was great. Staff courteous and friendly.

Best of all, the staff are so nice and accomodating. Breakfast lady was sweet and gave us what we wanted. And shout out to Sarah.I at the front desk. She had been always a step ahead helping us out. We went with another family and she moved us to the same floor, although we were initially checked in on different floors. She signed us up for rewards to save money. When we were stuck in traffic and couldn't make it in time to pick up our food from Chili's right across the street, she tried calling them (their phone number wasn't working) and then she went and picked up our food for us. We were really impressed with her hospitality.

The room was clean, cold, and comfortable. I loved the beds and the foldout couch. We had two big windows in the room, which made the room bright and cozy. The floor was quiet and we weren't bothered. Great Stay!

The staff were super friendly and accommodating, it was quiet even during a thunderstorm which was remarkable, and the room I’d stayed in was well furnished allowing me to build my LEGO in peace.

Our favorite part was the big room. Excellent space for a family. The staff was very friendly. Certain parts of the hotel were a little outdated, but we found our room very comfortable.

Breakfast was good selection, staff helpful. Only thing I dislike is the so common a/c unit which when hot cycles off and on. Freeze or get hot. My solution is turn fan on constant low. Seemd all hotels have these systems.

We had stayed at a different hotel the first night when we came to Schertz. We had a terrible experience, but some of our family stayed at the Hampton. So, we decided to give it a try, and we had a fantastic experience! Staff were great so we definitely recommend! When we went to Gulf shores a few years ago, we had stayed at a Hampton and had the same experience. Always stay at a Hampton, you won’t regret! 5 stars!!!!!

Property was great and Carlos was Awesome and helped me a lot

I was impressed with the “human” experience at this property. I had difficulty opening my door. Carlos jumped right in it and came with me to solve the problem. No hesitation! The employee in the breakfast area was upbeat and helpful. It was nice to wake up to such a positive environment.
