Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Antonio NE/ Schertz

We chose the hotel for its location and we were happy with our choice. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and service was excellent. And we took advantage of the fact that there were several restaurants within walking distance.

The room was very clean and I realike that it was spotless however the bed was terrible! The bed was incredibly hard/firm. It felt almost old. I swear I can feel the springs on my back. Woke up with back pain the very next morning that lasted about a week. The breakfast was plain Jane BASIC. Ive had nicer breakfasts at more economic hotels. I felt so let down.

Our Service Rep was absolutely kind. Room was cold, so we slept well. Electrical kept having a short and would turn off the tv and the AC. The room next to us was having the same issues.

Its location is great , we had everything close by and even to shop at San Marcos outlets was close The elevators were the worse I’ve ever been on. I saw they had just been inspected at the beginning of July and for one to be broke and the other one having issues ! Looks like you guys need a new inspector cause the sucked at it. One elevator was down and left only one. That one elevator in use was the slowest elevator I’ve ever been on.

Everything was good. We loved our stay, thanks to the spacious room and great amenities. Spacious parking. We enjoyed the breakfast, though butter and plain cheese weren't available on Sunday morning.

Other than the water continuous flowing on the toilet with the door open until I closed it cause it was annoying at night while asleep.

We went down for clean towels daily and toliet paper after a 4 night/5 day stay. Everyone was really helpful and kind. Kept the coffee going and had oatmilk. The app to was clothes were helpful. We did not have working bottles of body wash~hair items; we did tell them the second day,but was never changed. Will be back!

Great location. Our family spent the weekend at Schlitterbahn and it was a 20 min drive from here. The beds were comfortable and the staff were very helpful! There is a Sonic, Chilis, and other restaurants very close.

The pool The room and bed comforters had an unpleasant smell and felt very uncomfortable. The following day we asked for them to be swapped. The lady's reaction was rude and made us feel bad for even asking.. as far as the cleanliness, you can tell it is never deep cleaned. We only chose this hotel for the "cleanliness rating". Expectations were definitely not met. This has been a repetitve issue with Marriot hotels.

Everything was great except 2 things, the drain in the bathtub took a while to drain when I was taking a shower, and the other thing was our AC unit was making a weird sound, I believe it was coming from the fans it came on around 4am and wasn’t able to go back to sleep. We stayed in room 503. Other then that, it was a nice affordable hotel

The staff was great and very helpful due to me coming in late and the breakfast was great. The person that put on the meal kept bringing hot food that was outstanding. Please let the staff know that if I come back to that area, I will always try to stay there.

This property is central located for us when we visit . The dog park is well suited for us also. Plus free hot breakfast and service is good.

The pictures online and the exterior of the building is very very misleading. The rooms are old and worn out. Very disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend bringing family here.

I stayed with my family of 5 and we slept so comfortably. Very quiet and was met with friendly staff. When we woke up the breakfast was mostly gone but thankfully they kept re filling up the food. Definitely recommend if you really just need a place to stay for the night. Very convenient and would return again.

Nice clean room and friendly front counter

Just passing through so we stayed for the night. Hotel was good but there was a huge pothole in the parking lot when I was pulling up. Luckily it didn't damage my wheels.

We've stayed here a lot over the life of this hotel. They're remodeling, it's starting to look pretty good. The location is perfect for me but the parking situation is atrocious. The front desk staff is always friendly and will continue to stay here. My main issue on this trip is that the housekeeping staff has started knocking on room doors LOUDLY at around 730am. That's far too early and aggressive especially when I've got a "do not disturb" sign on the door. When housekeeping knocks on every other door like the police with a warrant it's not exactly undisturbing.

Great breakfast

I would have rated lower if I had not stayed at this hotel in the past. This time around, I had two rooms. One room the TV had no signal and the wrong remote (I was told it was an input issue, but it would not go to another input so I doubt that was the problem), and the refrigerator was unplugged wasting my food, then when it was plugged it, it was turned high which froze my food. The second room had blood on the pillow case. The housekeeper advised me I needed to take the pillow case off in order for it to be changed. But this is a new room that I checked in? Not my blood.

Staff were very courteous and helpful. My wife forgot her wedding band and they helped us locate it and hold it for us until we picked it up.

The facility is tired. Room didn’t have regular coffee or condiments. Had to get them from the front desk. Limited electricity outlets - had to unplug the lamp and clock so we could plug in our phones and CPAP machine. Closet door was missing. Furniture was old and sofa had a huge stain on one cushion. Nasty. Only reason we stayed 2 nights was the beds we’re comfortable and we slept well.

Enjoyed our two night stay. Check in and out was seamless. All staff members were pleasant and responsive. The breakfast had several selections and the dining area was clean. Location of the hotel is close numerous places for dining.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel appreciated and cared for.

Cleanliness was fine but we both were VERY disappointed that the television service did not totally exist resulting in having to spend even more money to entertain ourselves… for 3 nights !!

The property was near many places to eat and entertainment; however, the pool was not clean and when you travel with kids playing at the pool to give them some energy burning time it is almost a must, kinda disappointed when you specifically book with that in mind.

This property it’s a FIVE STAR!!! From the staff greeting, attentions to every detail, room accommodations as requested (First Floor), rooms and facilities are sooo clean, breakfast it’s amazing and having a 24 hrs coffee station was amazing, I’m so blown away with this place, so many stores, restaurants just by walking and right across the main highway!!! Can’t wait to visit New Braunfels again and stay here. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants an affordable five star place to stay or relax!!!
