How does this place have 4 stars??? This by far is one of the most sketchiest, disgusting places I’ve ever stayed. There was dog hair all over the beds and the smell made us sick. It smelled like mildew, pee, and poop. No help from property management. Check in at a diner and then walk across the parking lot to the room. This place is run down and in not the best area. Definitely not family friendly and not as advertised.

Got double booked my room and I had already left things in my room no one could help me lost some clothes and electronics. Only got refund on the room and a free night. Don’t recommend this place to stay and night stay doesn’t help at all

Parking was overcrowded. Was woken up by smoke alarm,🚨 around 2:30 am firefighters got, there. we had to evacuate the building after an hour they said it was a false alarm! Manager said sorry. We should get credit, write down your room # and name. I checked out and they was not an office manager! Very disappointed ☹️

Room 208 does not have all the channels on the tv . I had to go down to the large group room to watch Fox tv. Wanted to see the All Star Game. 209 room had all the channels from my stay the week before.

We stayed there three nights and they didn’t clean the room at all. I requested clean towels and never got any. Did not take out the trash, change the beds, nothing. Would be good for a one night stay, but not multiple days.

My partner is a remote worker and this trip was super last minute and she had a meeting at 12-2pm, we were able to get a late enough check out she could get her meeting done without needing a second night in the hotel (or, you know, her trying to set up in the car or something). The little diner serves good food at a good price, and is 24 hours which is nice for night owls like us. If we're in the area again, it will certainly be a consideration for where to stay again.
- 5/5
Clean and safe. I called to confirm someone would be available for a late check in at 1am, I forgot about time zone change. They reassured me would not be a problem. Jesse was quick to check us in. Parking lot well lit and quiet.
- 5/5
Clean room. Big. Good parking, big enough for truck and trailer
- 3/5
The room was clean. Staff said my room number out loud which is unsafe. Shower was tricky and when I mentioned it to staff they said I should have called. I felt like that was an unnecessary inconvenience since they knew that the shower was unintuitive.

Love the diner and the staff was amazing. Good location. Easy access to El Paso and Mexico. Great stay.

Different chech in process but works great and probably saves money both them and us. Comfy bed, great water pressure and quiet room. We asked for extra towel and my husband offered to go get it and they insisted and brought over less than 5min. Rates are awesome and will be staying here again.

I had reserved 2 rooms for 5 persons and 2 days before my trip they called me and said that they had to cancel my reservation because the Hotel was gonna be under maintenance, which was a lie. The wanted to resale rooms for a higher price because of a big Concert. They only gave me one room and it was suppose to be one bed with a sofa-bed and it didn't had a sofa-bed it had a couch, for 5 persons, it was ridiculous. My husband has to sleep in the truck bacause they're was no way we could fit in the room.

No one was there to cook breakfast and people sat on there for 30 minutes waiting. I’ve never been to a hotel where you check in at a restaurant and you just walk out and leave it all open!
- 5/5
there was no breakfast provided

Very goog rest room ang gym in the first floor, very quiet and convenient

I liked the business model—it’s a creative way of keeping costs down for guests. There is no lobby or staff in the hotel itself. Guests check in at the 24-hour diner next door. The hotel is secured by key card to keep it safe. I’ve seen a similar model in Europe and some places in California. The hotel itself is very basic but clean and in good condition. It has a workout room, ice, and vending machines. No free breakfast, and no shampoo dispensers. It’s perfect for a quick stay—clean comfortable beds, quick check in, safe quiet surroundings, and low costs. The staff at the diner were very friendly and attentive. Would stay again.

We had booked the room from the road and had selected two beds, when we got there the staff wanted to give us only one bed and offered to look for pullout bed or so, but they ended up setting us in two separate rooms that were next to each other but not connected. The staff blamed it on the websites that supposedly do not update. But this is the first that this has happened to us… we have used Expedia for years, honestly I did not believe the staff. The hallways and room had a strong smell of tobacco. Again, we reserved the room on the road and did not add the option to cancel, plus we were already tired from the long ride, so we had to stay there.

Great place for the price. A small problem with the shower, but overall good.
- 2/5
Outdated, tub is set high, if you have bad knees you’ll fall. I moved the footstool, the floor beneath was dirty. The check in is at the diner (empty). I believe workers, from out of town stay there. There are old rundown cars in the parking lot.
- 1/5
Middle of summer and air was not running. Walked into a room that was 88 degrees. Could not get comfortable and sleep for hour and a half.
- 5/5
For the money a great place to reset your head. Sheets were fresh and clean. Mattress almost new and super comfortable. It’s not the Hilton but it was perfect for us for a one night stop in the road. Staff were super friendly and fast. We had a problem with our room as there was an odd healing sound when we came in and we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from or how to turn it off. I called the lobby and immediately she apologized and suggested a room switch. That meant a lot since we were so tired and I didn’t want to spend hours trying to figure it out before having to switch rooms. Would definitely stay here again. The dinner/lobby is very cute! We didn’t get to eat there.
- 3/5
It is not clean. Bathroom is nasty.
- 3/5
The building has a bad smell, people smoking by the front door.
- 5/5
Great hotel all around; diner is a bit pricey. Two basic breakfasts were $32 + tip.
- 3/5
The room was clean, handicap accessible (although never part of the room description, so it was a surprise because we are fully functional) but adequate for one night. Because the price was very reasonable, even having to wait until around 2:20 PM to check in (when check in time was posted as available at 2 PM). We adapted and slept well. Check out was simple and easy!

Muy limpio y tranquilo, las habitaciones tienen todo lo necesario para una buena estancia
- 4/5
This was a very clean, nice room. Comfortable bed and very quiet. There is no wifi. An outlying area but easily accessible to freeways.
- 5/5
I was a little hesitant about the “office” being in the restaurant on the property…but there were no issues. It is 24/7 and it was nice to have a restaurant on the property to grab dinner when I checked in and get some breakfast to go the next morning since I had a 12 hour drive and wanted to get moving. The property was clean and very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Unique was the fact that the map showed it off Dessert Dr. when I was looking for some place to stay. We were quite surprised when it was 7 miles south of there. But it was the best sleep we got of the 4 motels before. If only everyone had great beds.
- 4/5
It was good. Had to check in at the restaurant next to the hotel. Penny’ Diner. Had to wait a bit till someone was available to check us in because apparently they are also the chief cook and bottle washer. It was very clean. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Perfect for our needs
- 4/5
Very good and safe clean room and friendly people on the front desk
- 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and nuce this propertyy was considering how cheap the price was. I will stay there again for sure.
- 5/5
This establishment is truly exceptional. The staff exhibited remarkable friendliness and provided invaluable assistance. The rooms were impeccably clean. I highly recommend choosing this accommodation for your stay.
- 2/5
All in all a bit crap.
- 5/5
The room was basic, but clean and comfortable, which was most important! Very quiet property on the outskirts of El Paso in New Mexico. Penny's Diner was cute, clean and 50s tunes played. I was the only one there and it was quite cinematic! I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. I slept like a baby. 💜
- 5/5
My only complaint is that 2 people couldn't figure out how to turn shower on and the queen room that we occupied had only 1 side table. Hotel was excellent for a 1 night stay.
- 1/5
It was really bad experience because the hotel room was not ready and it was so dirty outside and inside the hotel
- 5/5
Very good

- 4/5
Nice place to stay. Clean and safe.
- 1/5
I guess you get what you pay for… except, basic amenities were not functional, power outlets in our room didn’t work and to our surprise in the morning none of our devices had charged which were so needed for our roadtrip the next day, the water was so cold we couldn’t shower after driving 12 hours all I wanted was a nice warm shower and relax but couldn’t, it was 30 degrees outside, the wifi didn’t even work, there’s no front desk if you need help, there’s only one person outside in the parking lot diner who checked us in but was not knowledgeable, I booked and paid for a 2 double bed room and upon check in she said she didn’t have my room so I was given a 1 queen bed room for me and my colleague with a discount, however she didn’t know how to apply the adjusted amount/refund so she just told me to contact hotels.com for assistance. I have to say though it was very clean, only thanks to the housekeeping team.

Everything was really nice, we stayed one night only but it was very pleasant.

Is a practical location

Checking in was fast. On the morning no answer or help about the non working shower head and no latch on the microwave’s door. Tried multiple times and at departure no one available for check out. Just left the key door and notified the dinner’s employee that was peeling onions and listening her earphones.
