Bathroom had stains and room smelled like smoke

All front desk staff were very kind and helpful. They delivered a great aura everytime when leaving and returning to hotel. They definitely deserve a raise ;z

The room was very clean and the parking was free and big. The staff was very professional and friendly except card reader didnt work on my room keys.

When I arrived my room was not ready. Hotel was booked in part due to access to the pool & hot tub, as we were staying after my son’s football game. I was told that the pool was not working. Coke machines were out. One of the elevators not in service. The other one seemed to need some maintenance. Elevator arrived to floor and doors opened but no lights on. We took the stairs.

Clearly being close to the airport was not a good choice 😬 Would not recommend this property to anyone!

Toliet dirty

Nope. I checked in close to midnight as a solo female traveler & was very sketched out by the extremeky dark lighting in the hallways. There was a lot of random hair in the bathroom and the toilet hadn’t been thoroughly scrubbed. Mold in the shower & dirty tile grout. The a/c blew out a moldy smell all night. I had a question for the front desk in the morning & spent 10 minutes on hold, but they never picked up. Now I understand why the price point was so low.

It has been clean and affordable. We travel with two Autistic teenagers and the junior queen suite allows them to have their own spaces (which reduces meltdowns). Their breakfast is also really good.

DO NOT stay at this hotel unless you want to be robbed. The cleaning staff stole my clothes that I spent the previous evening washing. The machine that dispenses detergent took my money and didn’t dispense the detergent. So o had my money taken there as well. I had to make a special trip to Walmart to get detergent to was my clothes I hung them to dry in the closet and the next day they were stolen. The front desk told me that there was nothing they could do to get my clothes back. No accountability whatsoever. They didn’t care. No call back from management. There was another gentleman in the lobby complaining that his air-conditioning wasn’t working. Additionally, the main floor bathrooms were disgusting. They had poop in the toilets, There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. This hotel is in total disarray. I will also be complaining to the higher-ups at Wyndham about the theft. I also filed a police report.

The property was better when it was owned by different owners. I feel like they’re letting it go down the fact that there’s not enough security there they had two break-in in vehicles for two days in a row. More than eight vehicles were harmed. They need better security and they need to keep up with the cleaning of the hotel.

Everything was clean and adjusted at our like. Especially the staff, they were super helpful and kind. 10/10.

Good location and comfortable beds The carpet was not the cleanest and multiple vehicles had their windows broken/vandalized. The staff was aware and said this was happening around the area and also stated cameras were not working.

I have gotten a hotels gift card for Christmas.

My main concern with the cleanliness of this hotel has top do with the upkeep of all their flooring. After walking through the lobby and down the hall to get to our room we noticed how dirty the floor in our bathroom became. The flooring is white tile in the bathroom and there were black footprints all over the floor after we went to wash up. Later we used the pool and I needed to use the restroom so I went to the one near the front desk. Since I was still a bit wet I grabbed some paper towels to dry the floor. Just using paper towels and the water I dripped, the floor in the bathroom now had a clean stripe. I looked around and noticed the entire floor and part way up the walls there was a greenish tinge to the surfaces. I reported this to the front desk and they did nothing. I believe the discolored areas were a combination of dirt and mold. I will never stay in this hotel again!!

It would be a higher review if there was security on site, considering there are a lot of break ins at hotels in San Antonio

Breakfast was mediocre. Typical powdered eggs and microwaved sausage. I threw my plate away and went somewhere for breakfast.

The breakfast was good...except for the fake powdered eggs. The desk chair in Room 417 was broken—the gas cylinder failed completely. I’d sit down and, within ten seconds, the seat would abruptly drop a full 8 inches. I reported it to the front desk and asked for a simple replacement. The clerk on duty proved both indolent and utterly useless. He refused to lift a finger, claiming he could do nothing until the Chief Engineer returned the next morning to “examine” the chair. When I pointed out that a leaking gas cylinder is not something the engineer could repair on the spot and that a replacement chair was the obvious solution, he still denied every request. All he could manage was to parrot the same excuse: nothing could be done until the Chief Engineer returned—fifteen hours later. The sole skill this clerk demonstrated was mindlessly recycling canned corporate empathy on a continuous loop: “I’m sorry. I apologize for the inconvenience. I’m so sorry.” No initiative, no problem-solving, no effort—just empty, lazy repetition while a guest was left with a useless, collapsing chair.

Good breakfast but duration was short so very crowded. Room AC was very noisy

We wanted to check out the minute we got there but stuck it out the 5 days because they brought us a pullout bed at no charge for my son to sleep on. 7 pick up trucks got their windows smashed one night during our stay sooo, that speaks to the safety in the area.

Stay was ok. It was decent. Good enough to get a good night sleep and move on the next day, But for the price you can’t demand a lot. The property could definitely use some updates. On our first night there we encounter a problem with the sofa bed that got stuck and wouldn’t roll back in. We went to the front desk and they politely moved us to another room, but it was a downgrade from what we originally got, but we were OK. We just needed to spend the night comfortably. Due to the fact that a room like what we had which was two queen beds and a sofa bed were not available. The next day they found us a room like what we originally got and we will move back again a little bit of a hassle, moving rooms. The second night when we were there, they some people break into the cars, smashing windows I heard the alarms of the cars and I looked out the window and surely enough there were some thieves breaking into cars, I immediately got dressed and went downstairs to check on our car thankfully, our car was OK, but unfortunately for some others not overall this is something that could happen at any hotel. our last day there was a funny musty smell in the hallway, but we were on our way out so we didn’t pay much attention. The place does need a high upgrade. Looks like it doesn’t get much updates, but if you’re just looking to spend the night it’s OK. Location was great. It was close to most things around San Antonio. I like that it has free parking free daily bfast and has gym and pool. However, I wish they could serve different food daily not the same toast, canned scrambled eggs, and same mini muffins everyday. We ate the same thing everyday for the past 3 breakfast.

The Bed was good the shower pressure not very good hot water not really hot but still was hot enough to work. There is no bar and Restaurant as advertised so if I known that I would have book another place. My stay was still comfortable. The bed was amazing.

Only 2 issues. Sink faucet was installed incorrectly. You could not run your hands under the water to clean your hands or other. Had to use a cup. Also, shower, zero water pressure. So if you are used to water helping you shower, this is not the place. Room was good size, great a/c good location. Free breakfast.

Issue with the AC in the room. You are not able to control the temperature even though their is a thermostat in the room. It was hot in the room at night. The pool is well maintain and the patio area but no one is checking to put clean towers. The breakfast area is not constantly checking to put more food out before the time. They have an updated pancake mixer and of the 4 days I was there every day was an issue. Standing around and no one comes out to check on the food or if you need something. They are more concern with removing the food then serving the people.

Great location, 5 minutes from airport. Breakfast was really good. The fountain drink machine was down which would've been nice to use. Hallway did have a smell of dog. Overall staff was friendly and enjoyed our stay. Not sure if I would choose this location again

Floors were dirty. The dining area was very dirty. Didn’t have plates for food. There wasn’t fresh coffee. Several food items were out. Your halls were dirty. Left a very bad impression.

Breakfast was horrible. They ran out of coffee, yogurt , milk, food and silverware on a Saturday at 8 am. The pancake machine was out of order. No one was around to replenish food or clean.

I didn’t like anything about this hotel! In fact I wasn’t able to stay the night as planned. I reserved a suite with 2 queen beds and a pull out bed. When I checked in and received my key cards they were not activated so I had to go down and get them activated and received a terrible attitude from the receptionist. I finally get the key cards to open my room and when I walked in I only see one bed and a pull out bed. I go down again to speak to the receptionist to let her know this isn’t the room I reserved I was again met with her rudeness. I asked to speak to the manager but she was not available. She couldn’t give me another room because according to her they were sold out. So I asked to get some type of refund to try and get another room elsewhere a place where my family and I would fit and be comfortable but she said that wasn’t possible. She said I could get a rollaway bed up to the room. So I said okay that’s fine but when we went back up to the room I pull out the bed and it was not made and the sheets that were there were dampened and they smelled awful. The air conditioning was also not working. I asked the receptionist again if there was away to get a refund and told me again that it was not possible. I couldn’t stay there so we decided to go back home mind you we were 2 hours and half away from home. I won’t be reserving here again. The suit was filthy and hot and the sheets were smelly.

Easy check in...under 5 minutes. Clean rooms and clean overall facility. Easy access to my destination each day I was there.

Comfortable beds, clean and hot breakfast

We had a crazy day and found this hotel on Expedia. Reserved online. Check in was super easy and lady was friendly. Room was clean and relaxing. 2 queen beds sofa and 2 tvs. Son used the fitness room and said it was nice and quiet. Shower took a minute to get the water adjusted and bathroom didn’t have a fan so a little humid. All in all a good nights rest and peaceful. Ask for extra towels , no problem at all. Check out was easy . So if you’re looking for a reasonable, clean and comfortable stay, this is it. Walmart was right down the road as anything else you might need. Will stay again.

We paid for a king bedroom suite! It was not a bedroom. I would have used my points on one of my reward accounts for just a 2 queen hotel room. We specifically reserved and paid for a bedroom for privacy. We are traveling with teens. Asked to speak to a manager and was given a toll free number that told us it would take a week for a resolution. We waited 10 min in the lobby as well on a Saturday because only one person was working and stepped away. She said all the bedroom suites were booked.

Beautiful well kept place, staff kinda grouchy especially big Hispanic lady at breakfast with unkept messy frizzy hair with no hospitality. African American receptionist with big thick black glasses also wasn’t very welcoming.

Staff very kind. Was able to leave my vehicle there while I was out of town, shuttle was prompt.

Overall good stay! Our room was upgraded due to not having any other rooms available for us with our booking. Very friendly staff and the room was clean.

Amazing service great staff

I along with others got our vehicles broken into on property, and the staff and managers were instructed by corporate to not help us in any way. They were told that compensation was not allowed and when I was given an email to speak with someone higher up that could possibly help. That person never reached out or gave any effort in trying to make the situation better or to try and earn our business back or offer any sympathy or apologies at all.

Quick and easy access to the airport which is a huge plus with the early flight I had. Easy check in even as late as I got in as well as a simple easy check out with how early I had to leave. Would stay again as the location is a comfortable spot for flying.

First thing to go to our room on third floor were 2 large black garbage bags directly in front of the elevator doors as we walked off and can see a visible trail of slime where the bags were just dragged and dropped. Looking to the right of that the ice machine with visible white build up flowing down the side of the machine. As we entered our room and I tried to shower, the shower rod that holds the handle in place broke off as I tried to adjust the position, because I needed it to be raised to get underneath. We stayed a week and as the days progressed the amenities seemed to continue breaking. The pancake maker broke after maybe 2-3 days in and never fixed, the soda machine broke by day 4 and was still broken when we left and the guest laundry room, shut down without notice, days of us arriving.

We had so many issues with his property. We were told they were recently bought out. It used to be a Durry Inn and is now a Wyndham. I feel like they were very understaffed. Three different times that we went to the pool. We had to call to get pool towels ,another time no one ever came so I had to go up to get our own towels, which was very inconvenient being that it was cold. And we were wet. The staff was very friendly and apologized, so that helped some. The next day we were gone all day doing some shopping, ect. ,hoping to come back to a fresh clean room, but no one had ever cleaned it or restocked it. So called the front desk to request fresh towels at least, once again the lady apologized and said she would have some sent up no one ever came. It was so frustrating. I waited for a couple of hours then I had to go down to the front desk myself and grab fresh towels for the family.Also my daughter was looking forward to having waffles for breakfast because we were told they serve them but the very day we got there they said their machine was broken. Then one morning while getting breakfast our biscuit was frozen and we want to at least try to warm it up in the microwave, but the microwave was also broken. It was so frustrating being that we were trying to have a little girls getaway and relax, and it turned in to more of a headache.

The sink in bathroom was ok, the only thing is the faucet is short and reall on the edge of the sink where it’s very uncomfortable washing your hands. The breakfast was ok only draw back that there was no fruit. Like bananas or apples

The whole property looked neglected and poorly kept. From the parking lot to the lobby, hallways and elevator were dirty. The room was a disappointment. Beddings and the cart had rips and tears. The room smelled awkward. The finishes werent cleaned. I still had toothpaste splatter on the sink faucet from the previous guest. The fact that wifi is marketed but then you have to subscribe to the hotels rewards nonesense to use it misleading. Would not recommend and would not stay again.

Staff was helpful loved the hotel only issue was that they didnt have any extra towels and wash cloths available.

The room was clean. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was mediocre. There's currently an Applebee's restaurant just across the street, which is a great bonus. If you need to be close to the airport and a quiet place to sleep, it's a good option.

Do yourself a favor and take your family elsewhere.

This property was very disappointing! We booked for two nights for a mini vacation. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, are dirty and not maintained! We actually asked for a different room after seeing the mildew & mold in the bathroom. Our second room was not much better; bathroom very dirty, corners and behind toilet not cleaned and the light fixtures and sprinkler all rusty. The drawers had been removed from the dresser, so just open shelving. It was very dusty and dirty! Breakfast was not great either. The pancake maker was broken and the fountain machine for soda was broken. Everything about this property is in need of updates and cleaning! I took pictures and will be sending them to the corporate office.

Upon arrival, the front desk staff was quiet, yet courteous. I noticed that my sheets had something red on them, I pray it wasn't blood, but I digress. the bathroom had some hair on the walls and in the shower but I cleaned that up. I tried my best not to bother anyone but I truly wish I wouldn't have had any issues. while I was working out in the gym, one of the maids sprayed a loud chemical cleaning spray while I was already doing cardio; that spoiled by mood about the hotel. I understand they have a job to do but sometimes it should be common sense not to spray something that loud near someone who is working out taking more breaths. I could literally taste the spray, it was quite loud. I chose to just walk out and not mention it because I give people the benefit of a doubt. While in the lobby I asked an employee about the wifi and they had no idea how it worked. safe to say that my stay was not horrible but it wasn't all that great so I won't be back.

This property is badly in need of renovation. The bathroom fixtures were old and corroded. The tile and carpets were also old. The sheets were very scratchy. I sat in a chair in the lobby and it had what I assume was dog urine stains on it. The Market Store had about three candy bars and maybe four Cokes. Such a shame for a well-placed property to be so poorly maintained.

Overall property good

The associate who checked me in was not very knowledgeable about the process, and was easily confused, and also told me the wrong checkout time. The sink in my bathroom was very slow to drain. The body soap dispenser in my shower was almost empty. The air-conditioning in the lobby was not working. The marketplace refrigerator was not stocked very well. The breakfast was not very good. My bed was very comfortable though, and my room was clean overall. The staff also did not answer my messages on the Expedia app.
