Rooms was very clean and tidy. They offer a decent breakfast.

The price per night might make you think hmmm let me stay here.. but don’t. It’s not worth your piece of mind and safety.

But we woke up to find the passenger window of our rental car smashed while it was parked in the hotel parking lot. There was already a police report left on the windshield, and we had to spend our morning dealing with the police, the rental company, and arranging for another vehicle. After that, we understandably did not feel safe leaving the replacement rental car in the same parking lot for another night, so we decided to check out early. The hotel still refused to refund the unused night and showed very little concern for what we had just experienced. I understand the hotel cannot guarantee that a crime will never happen on its property, but the way management responds absolutely matters. We were already stressed and shaken, and instead of receiving compassion or any meaningful assistance, we felt brushed off. The break-in was upsetting, but the hotel’s response made the experience even worse. We will not stay here again and cannot recommend this property.

Love the location Should have a pool on the roof or a pool in general in this 100° Texas heat!! Only reason I didn’t give it a 10/10

The place was dirty. Restrooms had lots of mold and the walls had a lot of stains on them. They were doing some kind of construction that wires were all over the floor. No caution signs whatsoever.

The location is excellent there is plenty around whether it be food, shopping or attractions! The staff was super nice and helpful! The inside isn’t what you expect it’s fun and modern. The pillows were all very squishy, there was no firmness to them so I didn’t sleep my best at all. Also no pool? A pool would’ve made up for the pillows

Loved the aesthetics and location of the property. The staff was very nice. The room had an electronic window blind that was not working. It was stuck on one setting and we couldn’t lower it or raise it. Also, the AC was not working in the gym or hallway to our room.

Value: The pricing was exactly right for what we got. No surprises, no feeling like we overpaid — just a fair rate for a solid stay. Cleanliness & Comfort: The room was extremely clean and comfortable, which made a real difference after a long day of wedding festivities. Everything felt well-maintained and inviting. Overall: For anyone attending an event near the JW Marriott, this hotel is a smart, comfortable, and affordable option. We'd absolutely stay here again.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Breakfast was adequate. Booked a king room with a 10 pm check-in, but when we arrived were told that they were out of the king rooms, but she would "comp us 2 queens at the same price". Two queens were already the same price and we didn't need 2 queens for the two of us. The room was fine, but it was the idea that we did not get what we booked.

The room was so humid as if the a/c didn’t work - in this Texas heat, it made it feel worse and unbearable especially at night. The room didn’t feel fully cool and felt so humid that the floor itself felt wet. Do not recommend especially if you like a good night’s rest!

Like always we choose for our traveling plans true by Hilton. The whole concepts is very honest and we like that.

Bathroom shower was not the cleanest. Other than that the staff was nice and helpful. The front desk rep moved us to a different room because the fridge was not working.

The rooms were clean and well stocked. The lounge area was spacious and the breakfast options were wonderful.

Uncomfortable furniture. Looked like IKEA. The breakfast area was primarily IKEA-style couches. Very awkward and unsupported sitting at a table.

The room was Hot even when thermostat adjusted very humid. I had to go ask for body wash and shampoo containers empty. WiFi was in and out.

Front desk people were so nice and very welcoming I will be returning just because of the warm welcoming it’s nice to be seen when and where you’re spending your money on a space to be your home away from home

Great staff and amenities

As always the Tru hotels are a good place to stay, myself and wife travel a lot and we like to stay at Tru because they offer a great value for what you paid, but lately we've noticing that the breakfast offerings have dropped in quality and variety. Besides that the hotel is good

I like this hotel. I was greeted warmly and professionally by Stacey upon arrival. She seemed to love her job. Very personable. Generally, the staff was courteous. The only one I found aloof was Gabby. She needs more training. I was seeking clarification on a matter, and her response was very dismissive. She also speaks too loud allowing other guest to hear my business. She kind of made up, though, when I reported that my remote was not working. She came up to my room to have a look. I must confess that I was hesitant about choosing this hotel based on the negative reviews that I saw. I am happy to say that I am glad that I had my own experience and it was good. Elevators were functional. Housekeeping was good. Breakfast seems to be a continental spread so it was the same everyday. I like the fact that the tea station is available all night. Would I recommend this hotel? My answer is yes Would I stay there again? My answer is also yes. Good job, Stacey Kuddos to Lisa as well...hope I get her name right The breakfast. Same thing every day.

Should have microwave oven in room.

The room was clean. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good. Handcap parking was near the front door and made it very easy to enter the inn.

. I arrived and there was caked on poop stuck to the inside of the toilet bowl. It wasn’t subtle and it’s clear I couldn’t trust the room to have been cleaned. I received no empathy or apology from the front desk. He did offer to change rooms but my stuff was already settled and I had no faith any room would be properly cleaned. Highly disappointed.

Great location for our business stay - beautiful and clean hotel!

The staff was nice and helpful, but I will not be staying there again. No Microwave or coffee makers in the rooms. The showers are developing mold in the corners. Breakfast egg omelets were like rubber. The clothes iron in the room ruined a pair of my pants because of buildup on the iron.

It is really a great hotel with all the amenities you are looking for and then they go out of the way to make it better your stay. The rooms a re very clean and the beds very comfortable for a good night sleep, The breakfast is very vastand offers a good variety of plates plus the fruit is very well varied in selection, the mini Hot Cakes machine is neat and to watch. The location is just perfect for a ton of variety of restaurants and a super market close to the hotel. You have a lot of options at walking distance from the hotel to explore, very well located as well.

I liked the fact there is no carpet! Unfortunately, the rooms are tiny. There is no coffee machine in the room or closet. The food was very limited with limited choices. Coffee at coffee station was watered down a lot.

All was good here. The room was spacious and comfortable. I did not care for the breakfast because the yogurt machine was broken the entire time I was there and the eggs were like rubber discs! I wish there had been a microwave in the room.

Clean and nice staff Guest on the floor above me kept me up all night. I did report it to the front desk but the guest did not stop with the noise.

The breakfast was great with many options and well stocked. The staff was very helpful. Our first room did have evidence of bed bugs either current or in past. We asked to move rooms and staff was very helpful to make that happen. Would recommend staying here.

The bed felt and sounded like an old spring mattress from the nineties, they used a dust ruffle as a blanket (not even kidding), there was mold in the shower and the sealant around the door was peeling and hanging off. The water pressure was very poor and only one of the three desk staff were pleasant toward guests, including us. The others acted bothered that people were speaking to them - especially the younger woman with the long dark hair. The air conditioning unit was groaning and making noise which wasn’t great to listen to while we were trying to sleep and the phone in the room didn’t work at all. I was told that yes, some of the phones don’t work but we could use cell phone to call the front desk - except no one would answer when we did. Considering what we paid to stay there, we should not have been dealing with issues like this. I’ve had better stays in cheap one star establishments.

The staff were very nice and the room was very clean. However, the mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable. I don’t have back problems but whenever I would wake up my upper back would always hurt. Due to this, I probably would not stay here again. Other than that, everything else was great.

The shower had mold in the corners, so although the room looked clean, it was far from being clean. Also, I had an incident where several things were left in the room electronic charging cable plugged and serval other things. When I called the front desk 4 hour after I left, they said that the general manager was out and that they would have to call tomorrow when he was back in. They said nothing was turned in. I know that it was my fault, but you would think there would be honest people out there.

Water wasnt hot. Amenities were difficult to use as they were stored in somensort of squeeze bottle that took effort to get to work. The bar fo soap was so small it was the size of whay would normally be thrown out and was barely enoufh for 2 people to use because the cleaning staff only came wvey other day. The room was some sort of mi n imalist design. No closets and i dont think there were any drawers either. I will never stay there again even though I will be traveling thwre to visit nu son and family often.

Everything all around wasl excellent

Once our family was able to get into our room, we found that there were corners cut when cleaning the room. The wood floor throughout the room was filthy, the toilet had fecal smears on the OUTSIDE of the bowl, there was no soap in the shower and the toilet paper was low. There were dried out chicken pieces and other food on the floor and we had to wear shoes to walk around the room. It felt very icky to stay in the room and unfortunately we had booked 2 nights because we had an all day event on Saturday. We left after the 2nd night and headed to a Holiday Inn Express (in a different city) and it was a night and day difference. It highlighted the level of filth we experienced at Tru and the overall lack of comfort Tru offered. I also want to note that there was a very rude female working the front desk. She became frustrated and walked away. Another staff member had to come work the desk the rest of the evening. Very dissapointing.

You need to ask for the complimentary waters. The pillows are so thin that you get a kink in your neck. 90% of the parking is for compact vehicles.

We stayed 6 nights while visiting our USAF son and family. Pros: Room was fine. Clean. Like the "no carpet" look. Convenient to freeway. Cons: 1. No breakfast available on 1st day(New Years Day). 2. Room never serviced (towels, Toilet paper) despite 3 complaints to desk. 3. Additional $75 charged after I got home for "pet charge". I don't own a pet. Call to Hilton said charge was a mistake and would be removed in "3-5 business days". That was 11 days ago. Email never returned. We expect better customer service from Hilton. Still waiting 2 weeks after we checked out for a response.

Breakfast was not available. Pancake machine was broke, eggs were not available, oatmeal was not available. We went around 8am on Sunday. We had to wait for several minutes and we ended up eating outside costing us $40. Very disappointing.

Room was very good and clean, the staff was courteous and helpful. Only issue was the morning breakfast, not at all close to Hilton standards, slim pickings. Pan cake machine was broken every day, if it worked it worked for short time, Bagel machine kept breaking apart, hopefully they will improve till my next stay.

Room was clean and staff was friendly. Beds were soft and comfortable. Watwr pressure is shower was low however.
