Great!

I woke up the next morning with a stiff and painful neck. Although they provided me with another pillow the following evening, the neck pain unfortunately continued for two days.

Only good part of the hotel was a nice lady who helped us at breakfast the last day.

Everything about this hotel was amazing ! My family and I had such a wonderful visit the staff were very welcoming and the drive to seaworld was not that far! I will be staying again!

Everything was simple enough to my satisfaction. There was a parked car outside that screams it’s alarm at 4:00 am that lasted for at least 20 minutes. I know it’s the owner’s responsibility but it woke us up and ruined the night’s sleep. Maybe..a reminder from the staff to inform guests about this issue to prevent it from happening again.

Good location. Easy to get to. Easy freeway access. Breakfast on Both sides of the lobby was a winner! The ladies responsible for the breakfast were so nice. Sara the front seat agent was wonderful. Responsive and helpful. Actually all the front staff were great. The indoor pool was nice and warm and clean. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking on a busy night was a bit dicey. However I did not have any issues using my handicap pass. This property was booked to be paid at check in. However they charged my card ahead of time, and this caused some issues for me. They reversed it at check in , but it was still a problem. The AC in my first room did not work and I was moved to another room.

It was close by to many tourist destinations Bed so uncomfortable, staff was rude, never got my deposit back from two rooms.

Shower was a tiny bit dirty, Breakfast was okay, Parking was great, Staff was helpful, AC smelled weird, Beds were comfortable!

My stay was absolutely amazing

The staff was so helpful, especially John who helped me with the washing machine. I loved the breakfast options, and the fact we could wash our clothes prior to leaving. This has nothing to do with the hotel, but in order to get back to the highway you have to drive past the hotel and make a U-turn. I never could make that turn without backing up.‍♀️

I liked how it was close by a lot of places. Nothing I can think about my stay was nice.

The old lady works in cafeteria in the morning is very rude and disrespectful. Others staffing members was very nice .

I reserved a king size bedroom and got a double bed. No microwave in the room and no table to sit down and eat in the room. Had asked for clean towels and garbage bags each day. No ice buckets in the room. Had to use the microwave and eat in the lobby. Had to let them know that they had hornet nest at the door. Book reservation with them in additional had to pay a deposit of $50 at arrival and five dollars to park your car. Look at my account today and realized I was charged three different prices for A two night stay.

Staff at recepition ask me to cancle my recavation, Bcos i ask to see the room. Before 3pm.

Nothing They canceled our reservations. No notice. We drove 5 hours and found out a hour away that we were no longer being accommodated. We chose the pay at property option and was told since the card on file could not be charged they canceled it. I had my card locked because I chose the pay at the hotel option. There was no fine line saying that they would try to charge the card. Mind you the ADCD concert was going on. I truly think they canceled my room because somebody came in with money in hand. Because never have I chose the pay at the property option and had my card charged. AND THEN they tried to charge my card for the cancellation fee like in the one who canceled BEFORE they even charged me for the full price of the total. I found that to be super odd. At the end of the day I was so happy I locked my card because they tried to charge me 676 almost in all. And when er called back to get accommodations the only room available was around the $676. I’m not sure if they didn’t like our rate that we got but it was a really traumatic experience. Most hotels were booked because of the concert. Again we drove 6 hours total to take our kids to sea world and 5 hours in we find out we don’t have anywhere to stay. We ended up at a hole in the wall

Additionally, I found the breakfast room unsatisfactory due to the inconsistency in the food offerings on either side. Inadequate Front Desk Staff . Not recommended

The location is great. Everything is close by including SeaWorld. Our room was ok with a lot of wear and tears but comfy. The restroom was full of rust all around. We did not get room service due to short staff they said. We had to go to the front for needs.

We went to SanAntonio for a bmt graduation with my sister and her family. There was never anyone at the front desk when we went down. No one answered the phone when we tried to call down from our room. I requested for both of our rooms to be cleaned and towels replaced daily. That never happened. We had to go down and wait for someone to show up at front desk to request towels and they did not give us enough for our 4 night stay. Coffee was not readily available daily and the one day we made it to the breakfast (you have to leave very early to get to Bmt graduation each day) they were closing everything up even though we were there eating. They immediately closed curtains and took food away with people still eating. We have stayed at many Tru by Hilton hotels in other states and we have always been very satisfied. This was not a good experience and we would not stay there again if we ever go back to SanAntonio. We were charged full price times 2 rooms from Tuesday to Saturday and we did NOT get full price service at all!!!!!

The room was nice. Really like the wood plank floors. Much cleaner than carpet. Woukd have preferred a bathtub instead of a shower, although a shower was a cleaner option. And the room is only serviced every other day. We ran out of clean towels and wash cloths. They ran out of wash cloths but did give us fresh towels when we asked. And the breakfast was really good! All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Ok when we first got there it looked like nice and clean place just like the pictures….after resting we decided to go eat in San Antonio and when we got backed we noticed something crawling on the wall it was a roach ok after reporting that they moved us to another room to where the sink was clogged and the toilet ran for 10 mins maybe longer each time after flushing…so later on that night we sit outside to relax and drink a few cold ones and see a mice run across under our table and he was back and forth all night on the patio outside by the pool…the breakfast had no bacon but overall was ok…

Couple of cons: pay $5/night to park in their lot, and even though we booked & paid through Expedia, they put 3 different holds (totaling over $350) on my credit card. Would likely stay again if in the area which is close to Sea World, 6 Flags, lots of shopping and restaurants.

The WiFi did not work properly and very slow connection. Drip water on floor possibly from ac unit and no dresser to store items

No matter what “Tru” I go to, I always enjoy myself! There was an issue at a hotel downtown and needed to switch my hotel asap, and the staff was helpful with booking me a stay @1:30am! I spent my next two nights with this hotel and enjoyed myself. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful, I felt safe and comfortable being in a new city. Great location, Great Staff & Great Amenities!

The safety monitor system on the back of the property sounded off a siren for approximately 10 minutes at 0300. Im sure there were slot of tenants awakened. Checkout is at noon; and almost 3 hours earlier at 0915, housekeeping knocked on my door, even though I had the door not disturb sign on our door. When I responded that we were still there, she opened the door. Thankfully, I had the interior lock enabled. I opened the door and told her checkout was at noon. She responded "just checking on you". She awakened my entire family and this is unacceptable.

Staff was super friendly and helpful! For the most part, the place was good. Pool was nice after a hot day. Rooms were OK. Mildew smell in the hallways, rust in the bathroom, pillows were not the best, and there was a mysterious stain on the bed cover. I can't say it was excellent but it was decent and worth the price. They allowed pets, which was super helpful for us. Would we stay here again? Maybe.

Our room was never cleaned, toilet ran the whole time and made noises, sink clogged no one ever came to fix it.

A little mixed on this one. The good points were, they were reasonably priced. We had three adults, one room, used Expedia, Saturday night stay for about $125. Another good point is they had a pretty good free breakfast. Sausage, two chicken strips - ONLY two, scrambled eggs- cooked correctly, the ran out of blueberry muffins, I didn't see the yogurt, but my son said they had some. They had some fresh fruit, etc. Juice was so so, pancake conveyor belt machine was a cool idea, not sure that it worked, it looked like it had issues, but the waffle machines worked fine. Pretty good over all. Two distinct bad points stood out. No curtains or shades in the room. They had a screen that was pretty easy to see through (I'll try to attach a picture, but it definitely was NOT a black out screen, and I had a nice view of the parking lot light - all night long. As a plus, they did have security drive around the lot, and it was pretty quiet. My daughter and I could not sleep at all. The blankets were not wide enough for two people who are not a couple. It covered the bed, but not much overhang. We also had trouble with the plugs for charging devices. The plugs would not stay in the outlets. We ended up using the one in the bathroom. Also, the shower was hot!

Very pleased with the service received at the hotel, from now on I will stay at this location.

Room was smaller than expected and no storage. The shower had rust stains and shower head was horrible and leaking. If you only plan on sleeping there then it’s a great option.

Uncomfortable beds. Fire alarm malfunctioning. Nothing like being woken up at 6am to a blaring panic alarm. Staff did not care or apologize. Breakfast options were sad, old, and unappealing.

Room was double booked. Room service didn’t come through; I thought they were supposed to, at least that’s what they advertised. There was a camera system in the parking lot right outside the room that kept sounding an alarm throughout the night. Went on for several minutes and quiet for a bit then started over. Breakfast was great; I actually looked forward to getting up for that.

There was an alarm that went off in the middle of the night and early morning this needs to be assessed not sure if it was a technical issue or genially the building was on fire but we didn’t notice anything . Our stay was nice, they even gave us extra towels thank you.

Rosa’s breakfast is incredible! The food is authentic and full of flavor. That Mexican sauce is definitely the best in town. We had a great time with the family and will be back for sure

We absolutely loved our stay. Our room was clean and had working AC. Loved the layout of the breakfast/sitting area. Gym is clean with weights going up to 75 lbs. There are 2 Fussball tables and a shelf with some board games. Did not have time to check out the pool. There is a daily parking fee of $4.99. The hotel was clean with a pleasant and fun color scheme. I would 100% book here again.

However was given a 4 star due to bathroom being duty. Showered was DIRTY. Looked like it had not been cleaned in abit and had several pieces of hair. It was enough for my young child to say she did not want to use it because of how it looked. Then called front desk a few times and no answer. Had to clean it myself with wipes. Breakfast was your basic free breakfast but was good and fresh. Rooms were cold which is a plus. Not sure if id stay again unless if i had to seaworld since it really cloae.

The room was small and with 2 queen beds the space is tight. I was disappointed that there was not a microwave in the room too. The kids enjoyed the pool.

We had a nice day. The rooms were nice and clean. The receptionist was nice, considerate, friendly, and very helpful. The only damn thing I didn’t like is they don’t clean the rooms as often as they should what I mean by that is make the beds take out the trash.

Great place to stay! Easy access to express ways. 2 buffet breakfast areas with different foods in each! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Gym was bright and easy to access. We loved the decor! Would definitely stay again.

I visited San Antonio to attend my boyfriends BMT graduation @ Lackland Afb. I arrived on Dec. 30th around 2am, walked into the lobby, and spoke with the receptionist at the desk (short, heavyset woman that looked to be Hispanic). I explained to her that I already had a reservation which was from Dec. 30th- Jan. 2 and if possible I wanted to check in early. Now I understand that check-in is at 3pm and I was super early but the part that really upset me was her lying and saying she still had guests arriving that were already booked for Dec. 29th. I walked away and returned a few moments later and asked her could she charge me another night (at this point I was just tired & wanted to sleep for at least 2 hrs before I needed to head to Lackland). The way she moved to the computer so fast to charge my card was insane to me. She literally could've just told me yes you can check in early but there'll be a fee. 1. Don’t lie to my face and make it sound like you don't have anything available 2. Is it so hard to have a ounce of humanity in your heart? You likely know that I'm visiting from out of town & you can visibly see that I'm tired. For you to not show a tiny bit of empathy for another person is baffling to me. Then for you to charge me full price to stay half a night was even more crazy to me. After returning from the 1st day of graduation I did speak with another receptionist and explained everything to her. She did understand my issue and said that they don't do discounts but

Bathroom door didn’t close. Shower didn’t drain properly and hadn’t been cleaned in some time. Front desk was nice and friendly upon arrival. Floor was soft and it felt as though you would fall through any second. Variety of breakfast options.
