I have stayed here many times only to be. Criminally trespassed and my car got broken into and someone kept knocking at my door all night. For the front desk people to not handle or even tell me my car was broken into and they have cameras but they let the guy in room 166 the cops allow him and the management to stay there. When I got criminally trespassed And to never return to the property is bullcrap and even after I paid and people banging on my door to get out, for the manager and then a lady and then a manager again and then the lady and then the cops but I'm in the wrong I want my money refunded for all the stuff I put up with the for the owner and management allowing this to happen. I want my money refunded for the harassment and everything I have put up with at this establishment.

First two rooms we tried had penetrating odors. Furniture was in ratty condition. Stained rug. Peeling paint. Questionable permanent residents. Bare bottom continental breakfast. Roaches. 1star for friendly helpful receptionist and clean bath and bedding.

Our stay was horrible. We entered the room and it smelled like moldy sweaty feet. Just imagine. The bed smelled like it was not changed in weeks. There is mold in the shower, and on the sink. We had their “continental Breakfast” if you can even call that breakfast, and there was a cockroach running on top of the bread, and there was mold on the juice dispenser. Horrible stay! But great price though 😂

Check-in was a breeze! the style of the rooms are out of date but it looks as they are updating, the Bathrooms Are beautiful with great lighting. Front desk staff were great they assisted with any issues we had quickly and politely. breakfast was good, the children enjoyed the waffles.

I stay at this hotel every year when I travel to San Antonio. The service is always friendly and welcoming. The manager, I forget her name, always made we feel welcome and was happy to help with my requests. I will always stay here when I come to San Antonio

Unclean, housekeeping clearly was not cleaning rooms or actually changing sheets. Not maintained with working shower heads. Only one roll of toilet paper in the room. Half the lights in the room did not work. And the air conditioning unit only would turn on for about 3 minutes at a time.

People were friendly but property run down, not maintained and rooms not safe at all. If it wasn't so late and i hadn't prepaid, i would've canceled and went elsewhere.

Overall condition was poor. Hallway in lobby was bowed out. Room trim was missing paint in several large areas. Tub looked filthy/stained. Light in bathroom didn’t work. Sheets and bedcover on one of two beds appeared clean but stained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Staff offered another room but I had seen enough. Only stayed one night out of the four because it was late when I checked in.

I did not end up staying at this hotel. Upon arrival, there was policy present. Room I was given was in the back with no outside lighting and very scary. Room was dirty, bedding had stains on it. When I was going back to office, more police were there again blocking front entrance. Just left. Refund requested for 3 nights.

No towels in room and no breakfast as advertised

To make things worse, I contacted Expedia, where I booked the room, and the agent I spoke to provided no real assistance. I explained the situation and even offered to send the video, but I felt like I was being ignored. At that point, I had no choice but to gather my kids and search for another hotel in the middle of the night, completely exhausted, stressed, and frustrated. What I experienced was more than a minor inconvenience. It was a health and safety issue, and I’m shocked at the lack of professionalism and care from both La Quinta and Expedia. It’s clear that Expedia does not thoroughly vet the hotels listed on their site, which puts customers at risk.

Even though this room and hotel advertised that it was a non smoking room… once we opened the door and went inside the room smelled of cigarettes and the smell was well penetrated throughout the one night stay!!! Housekeeping needs to put many air fresheners so the smoke smell will go away for future guests!

It was dirty, nasty and has bed bugs, he had to stay a few hours only, because everything was booked. Tweekers everywhere. San Antonio has the worst hotels!!!

It was a nightmare stayed there for one night got two rooms SIDE BY SIDE so my oldest kids could have their own beds to sleep in well long story short THE FRONT DESK PERSON WHO CAME IN AT 2am THOUGHT I GUESS THE ROOM WAS EMPTY WELL HE TRIED ENTERING IN THE ROOM WITH MY OLDEST KIDS WERE SLEEPING LUCKLY WE WAS AWAKE OTHER WISE ANYTHING COULD OF HAPPENED! They could of seriously injured my teen kids because they had the room vacant my husband had to go down there with room keys and ID to confirm we were given the same room that were numbered on the key card then we tried to go back to sleep… mind you we rent it out for two days because we had a funeral to go to the morning of them trying to walk into my kids room in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. Then in the morning I guess they didn’t relay the message to housekeeping and the house keeps tried walking in on them again… at that point IVE HAD ENOUGH I RAN DOWN TO THE OFFICE AND DEMANDED A REFUND FOR BOTH NIGHTS ON BOTH ROOMS. The manager sounded like she REALLY DIDNT CARE BUT WENT AHEAD AND REFUNDED ME 2 NIGHTS FOR ONE ROOM AND 1 NIGHT ON MINE MY HUSBANDS AND MY LITTLE KIDS ROOM SMH ! THE OLACE IS ALREADY SKETCHY AS HELL WITH HOOKERS DRUG ADDICTS AND SHADY AS HELL PPL STAYING AROUND THERE. The website I booked on DIDNT GUVE THE RIGHT PICTURES AT ALL . Had I known this I would of never stayed there. NEVER AGAIN !!!! Ended up leaving and booking a different hotel IHG is where to go not here!!! Waiting on my refund as well !

When i arrived the personal seemed nice, but then i started receiving calls at midnight which was very inappropriate while i was sleeping. Then the following day someone tried to enter my room with my kids inside. Luckly i had the lock on top, when i went to complain in the morning about the interruption of calls at night, they said it wasnt them. Then when i addressed my concern about someone trying to go into my room they practically said their housekeeping wasn't trying to go in. Then they made it seem i was lying which made me soo upset cause not once did they apologized to me or my children.. i asked if they had security cameras and said they didnt have access. So i told them they need to look into that issue cause it was not right what my kids and i went through. I wouldn't recommend this place to be safe. And they have no consideration of the scare we went through.

The rooms look nothing like what is online. We were scared to even bring our stuff in for fear of bed bugs or something. Now let’s get to the important part. The housekeeper stole my wallet from the room. He lied straight to our face but he was the only one in there. Not to mention the hookers and crackheads everywhere l. Another customer said someone tried to come into their room in the middle of the night. Stay as far away from this place as you can. We were just passing through on our way to vacation. The beds are small as hell to and no they do not have roll away beds as advertised on their booking. This is a crack motel at best. Horrible place to stay

ABSOLUTELY the worst stay EVER. I took my family and left within three hours of checking in. My door wouldnt lock, so I tried to call the front desk and found my phone didn't work. Went to the room next door and called the front desk. About 15 minutes later a man showed up with a hunting knife to fix my door. Creepy random people outside. Parking lot was a mess. Reaked of bleach. 10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. NO STARS!!!!

The room: Well, my wife can confirm that most of my sense of smell is gone, since a car accident in 2010, but this room had a strong smell that if I could pin point to something it would be, smelly hamper and sweaty socks. Luckily I was too tired and after a while my nose got use to it so I slept good. Breakfast: Breads and spreads: It had 2 types of bread, but only butter, no jellies or jam, oh, and you I had to hold the button of the toaster down the entire time to toast the bread. Cereal: it had 4 different kinds of cereal and had regular milk. Drinks: it had orange juice only, and if tasted very watery like that were saving up on the juice. Coffee: Since I don't drink coffee I can't say how it tasted, but they had coffee, sugar, equal and your plain basic cream. Waffle maker: The waffles were on the shape of Texas, that was cool. They were very busy in a very tight space so they ran out of batter and syrup by the time I went to get mine, which is understandable, and they quickly did bring more, once someone complained. Things could be worst, like having roaches which I didn't see any, but the smell was a dream back. Some of the walls on the lobby were also cracked big time, enough to put your hands through it. The lady that was restocking the breakfast food was working hard, very busy everywhere, but not enough at the breakfast area.

Hotel in terrible condition.

The rom had a horrible smell. The room looked and felt beyond dirty and didn’t feel safe leaving my car in the parking lot. Ended up leaving and finding a room else where.

Seems like most of the people there work and live there. Don’t really seem to care a whole lot about cleaning up the place. They do there best. For what’s it’s worth it’s better than any other places in San Antonio for the price.

Don’t know how La Quinta allows this hotel to use their name. A pice of the mirror missing, walls with scratches and smelled like dog. Noisy room and noisy neighbors, guess because of the area.

Staff bent over backwards to help in all that was needed. The property itself was in extreme physical deterioration not because lack of maintenance but because of patching instead of replacement. Toilets hardly flushed but did very weekly. Everything needed complete replacement not repair. Everything appeared original from 500 years ago that the place was built. Also this is not a hotel but rather a cheap rundown motel. Again I want to compliment all of the staff who were always willing to help in everything without excuses or attitude. They were extremely helpful and accommodating.

The staff was very friendly, and they were the only reason I gave a higher rating. One of the lamps was not working in my room, and the room was too dim for my liking. I dealt with it since I was there one night and left early the next morning.

I could not stay the entire reservation. They’re a was roaches, stains on the bedding, and grime on the floor and walls. The big killer was seeing the roaches. It was disgusting an unhygienic.

Toilet not working and room stunk like animals had been in there. We were moved to another room without any problems. In the second room the tub leaked and flooded the restroom and separate sink area. No phone in the room to call front office about a heated and scary argument that occurred around 4am.

The staff was fine but the room was gross! Sheets had hair in them the room smelled like urine and carpet looked filthy. The mirrors were dirty….we requested another room and were moved but still walking in to room just felt dirty! Don’t recommend staying here, pay more for the hotel down the street!

The pictures make this property looks great. It was not. It was VERY rough. Room smelled horrible and was dirty. Lamps didnt' work. Air conditioner had a huge hole in it. The floor was so uneven it was hard to walk on. Door wouldn't even lock properly. It was cheap though and very close to Taco Cabana.

Overall the hotel was good, receptions was nice and easy to check in easy to che k out. The only thing the bathroom needs to be more clean!!

Stayed over a few days after returning to the country. It's a cheap room close to lots of things.

Room was in serious disrepair

There were stains on the sheets, the carpet, and other parts. It had a very bad smell, like someone had smoked and they tried to cover it up. We stayed for about 20 minutes and decided to leave, because it very uncomfortable. Place needs to be completely renovated. Everything should be replaced.

It was the worst’s experience I’ve ever had! My kids were terrified, the room was dirty, filled with crickets, the rug was dirty and wet. I can’t even explain the smell, everything is old and the tub was filthy. Don’t stay there ever!! Can’t believe is a Wyndham, shame on them!!!

The area was sketchy. Our room number wasn't on the door and the door looked liked it needed replacement. Outside the door was dried dog poop. The room was dirty, the lamps didn't work, and there were bugs in the bathroom. Unhygienic. Please remove this place from your suggestions, I don't not know how Expedia has this as an option.

The hotel was falsely advertised. The room was dirty there was an odor, tub was broken, chairs old and dirty, sheets had holes, trim was laying on floor, a lot of suspicious activity not only at night. Safety concerns were raised. Breakfast was not ready on time and they only had cereal and waffles bread for toast.

Desk staff was pleasant enough, but the property itself is really run down.

I pulled up and felt unsafe and didn’t think it clean. I usually stay in the Embassy Suites but we were going to a concert and didn’t know the area,. I should’ve known at the price that the hotel was awful instead of staying that night I literally decided to drive 6 hours back home. I was very disappointed.

I’ll start with the good… the staff was friendly and helpful, the room is laid out well with plenty of room to move around, the water is hot, the Wi-Fi is really good, and the bed is comfortable. The issues that really made our stay pretty bad was that the room was supposed to be a non smoking however, the room wreaked of cigarette smoke. The carpet was sticky all over and very damp close to the door with white mildew in places. White mildew was also on the bed skirt, night stand, picture frames, and walls. The bathroom sink was stopped up, there were mystery gnats all over the bathroom and paint was peeling and faded on all the doors. Long story short, the humidity, smoke smell, and mildew made it hard to breathe while in the room. I’ve stayed in many LaQuinta hotels and this one doesn’t even come close to living up to the brand name.

The rooms smelled really bad, like moldy. The mattresses are very old and the springs can be felt. Rooms are not like the ones on the website. I rented the room for 3 nights and we left after the 1st night.

The sheets were dirty, the mattress had blood stains, there were roaches, there was no phone to contact the front desk, the breakfast was just cereal and waffles (there were no eggs), the beds are not queen size, they are full, the whole room smells like mildew, the toilet was not clean, we had a non smoking room and everything smelled like smoke, there are lots of homeless outside, one of the ladies at the front desk was not nice, the other were. The pictures online are very deceiving. Just pay a little extra and get a better room. NEVER AGAIN La Quinta Inn, never again.

Expected a lot better conditions from a national brand. The condition of the property was worse than America's Best Value Inn chains. Was offered a smoking room when we requested non-smoking. Was given what smelled like a smoking room. There were cigarette butts on the entire walk way. Thought I saw, what appeared to be, a homeless person staying on the property. Breakfast was less than expected. I would not recommend this motel to anyone!!!!!!

I had 2 reservations for this hotel. One on july 19 for two nights and on July 20 only one night. For July 20 that reservation the staff told me that they got over booked and that my reservation was cancelled but still charge me the night. I expect a refund on for this. Never had a problem booking for hotels and this is just not right. Don’t know if to blame the actual hotel or Expedia itself because the staff for the hotel said that it was an Expedia problem not them.

Room was a nonsmoking room but it smelled like an ashtray. Bedding and towels were dirty. The staff were super friendly, so that was a bonus.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. I booked for 2 nights, stayed 1 and then moved to another hotel. There were used condoms in the pool, human ex-crement on the sidewalk, a possible biohazard on the comforter. When I left the manager refused to refund my money. DO NOT STAY HERE!

It needs a serious update! The staff was nice, but, the paint off the building and railngs, the parking areas were diings, the doors were dirty, the fence was broken. We were here for a funeral. When we went back to our room after breakfast, we couldn't get back into our room. It was discovered the electronic doorl lock’s battery was low and therefore couldn’t read the key. We almost missed the funeral!
