I did not stay here and lady was asking to pay cash, and i told her i didn't have cash. So therefore she said my reservation was not gonna be charged since they are asking for cash payments only, and npw almost a week after they charge me a one night. That is npt right. I hopr i can find a way to get my refund. When I didn’t authorize that payment and she told me I was not going to be charged.

Horrible hotel. Dirty, unkept and falling apart.
- 2/5
The pictures on the Hotels website must have been taken long time ago. The motel is in need of upgrades. No iron, fridge or even wifi.
- 1/5
The price you cannot beat however no amenities no ice no trash cans no breakfast the pictures are 30 years old lots of drug activity huge hotel lots of potential no towels I could go on stay here if you only want to maybe get some sleep not staying here again ever
- 2/5
A/c was not working, thankfully overnight person (and he was the only person who made himself available) came and fixed it up. Sheets were not the cleanest nor was the bathroom. When it was time to check out, it took 45+ minutes for someone to come. Unsure if it’s the owner or the manager, but for all the walking around and walk throughs you do at night, things could be a little bit better.
- 1/5
The property is in a poor state of maintenance. The furniture is outdated and worn. The beds look like cots. The showerhead and faucet in the bathroom were rusted. The air conditioning in the lobby was not working, and the front desk staff had to lock the door after themselves. The housekeeper answered phones due to lack of staff and couldn't respond to queries or provide the receptionist's name.

Everything
- 3/5
Had problems with things working in the rooms, door handle, bathroom lock, and no shower curtain. Staff was very accommodating at getting us in a defferent room.
- 1/5
Not as advertised at all. No pool, no refrigerator, no microwave, holes in the bathroom door, door to room was in up repair and difficult to lock. Floor in room was dirty and I had to clean it. Room had holes in the cabinets for pro stove top that had been removed. I am usually not super picky but would not recommend at all.
- 1/5
The doors were in terrible shape, holes, patches, etc. The covers had stains and there was no hot water.
- 1/5
Just terrible all around.
- 1/5
I would not recommend anybody to stay here. At first glance the front part of the hotel seemed decent but the back was totally horrible with two men lying on the hallway. A woman on a corner literally shooting heroin and the rooms smelled like rat pee and the door locks looked totally unsafe. We felt so unsafe and horrified by the location that we chose not to stay the night at all. Worst part is we felt there was some price gouging happening given the conditions and the price was $114. We hope to get a refund from Expedia since we called and told them of the drug activity and unsafe environment we witnessed. The receptionist was kind enough to tell us to tell our third party to call them for a refund but she did not question us at all why we chose not to stay. I would never recommend this place to anybody to stay if they want to be safe.

Nothing, absolutely nothing Very shady people hanging around staircase and eyeing our vehicle.?

So I chose this property because most everything was sold out due to two major events that particular weekend. Upon pulling into the parking lot, I could tell this place was very sketchy. There were multiple homeless people wandering around in the parking lot. Other "guests" were gathered outside their rooms smoking and hanging out. The property didn't really look anything like the pics in Orbitz's app. Check-in with Jennifer was the only thing that was remotely positive in my experience. Once we had the key we proceeded to the room. When we entered it was ok except for the weird smell. We stayed about two minutes and it was wasn't a place that I wanted stay with my two teenagers. Overall, the property looked like something out of a bad B-movie. It also seemed like a place that charged by the hour if you know what I mean. So I proceeded back to the front desk to tell Jennifer that this wasn't going to work out for us. She politely checked me out. Also, I wasn't able to get a refund...oh well. Not recommended. Thanks.
- 1/5
How dare you even offer to stay here?! Unhygienic, neglected property with unsafe environment. We walked away immediately and booked somewhere else.
- 1/5
I am amazed this Hotel is allowed to operate. At check-in I found the lobby to be without A/C and the clerk was plugging and unplugging while smacking the computer to make it work.I am not sure it ever worked. The Door frame to our actual room had severe rot, the table inside was a folding table, the floor was filthy and the white towels had dark stains. I went to take a shower before the concert we came there for, and when I pulled the thing to activate the shower, the faucet came shooting out at me leaving a PVC pipe spewing water. Fortunately it could be shut off the normal way, because the manager was not available. I had also requested an Iron and board, the board was never delivered to my room and I had to use the folding table and a hoodie of mine as a pad. By the time I went to bed, the stain on the bed, barely phased me. I would not recommend this hotel, even in an emergency, it may be more hazardous than the emergency.
- 1/5
That’s is worst place anyone Can stay. Roaches everywhere!! Nasty floors and no pillows covers. States Two Nights and unable to leave as there we’re no vacancies near by. I would never stay here again. They did not clean room after first night. Looks like people lived there.
- 2/5
I was overcharged
- 1/5
The room was nasty it smelled like mildew and they had roaches.
- 1.5/5
The staff was friendly roaches in the room, no wifi, no microwave or fridge in room, beds were not very comfortable. I wouldn't have minded paying like $75 - 90 for this room but it was not worth the $120 I paid.
- 4/5
There was no internet
- 1/5
Would not recommend no one staying here. Left after 5 mins when opened doirvto my room. Drug deals going on property. Room was super dirty and fear of catching something from bedding. The place super not recommend for family. Dangerous location and worse hotel i ever stayed in. Super disappointed that this site recommends this hotel.
- 1/5
Some of the hotel rooms had padlocks and there was a cop investigating a crime on the property. This place should not even be on the list, Expedia do better.
- 1/5
Was very dissatisfied not safe, kept calling and calling and the front desk wasn’t even at the front she was away
- 0.5/5
Nothing All of it. No WIFI, rooms in bad condition. Nothing worked.

- 1/5

- 1/5
Pictures need to be updated. Door to the room looked like it was bashed in. Deadbolt didnt line up to lock properly. Didn't feel safe.

People dwon crazy in the property
- 2/5
The lady and I had a rough stay at the Inn. I was told initially that they were in the middle of renovations/ upgrades, so some amenities might be lacking. Looking back, I think that was just a bad joke, because it turns out that he was referring to the fact that he'd be lucky to find us clean towels, my front door might not stay closed and the pool was green. There was also a hole in the curtain that had been plugged with toilet paper, no trashcan to be seen, blood stains on the pillow, cigarette burns in the blanket and some miserable poltergeist inhabiting the A/C. At least the roaches in the bathroom were very small. We wanted to save a few bucks by staying outside of downtown, but I can't believe how little we got for $115/ night. Needless to say, we didn't sleep well, and don't plan on returning.
- 1/5
Unacceptable condition. This is the first Expedia hotel booking that I was concerned about safety and health.
- 1/5
We stayed at that hotel to be close to downtown and also to the Alamodome, where we were going to attend a concert, so I wanted something close, but it was a bad idea. The hotel is crowded, run down, and has lots of little cockroaches, especially in the bathroom. Outside the room in the early morning, you could hear people partying. When you went to the office, there wasn't always someone answering the phone; they posted a "Back Soon" sign with a phone number in case of an emergency.
- 3/5
Door always stuck.
- 4/5
It was worth the price
- 1/5
No me gusto nada, tuve que irme del hotel.
- 1/5
It was like a scene in a horror movie. It was dirty unkept and it smelled. The sheet were soiled. There was no hot water. I am demanding a full refund. I have submitted pictures. Blood on the bed covers and bathroom door. I demand a full refund. Please contact me.
- 1/5
Very old and dirty! No toilet paper in the rest nor we can a trash can in the RR or our room! The nightstand was falling apart the main door didn’t wanted to close. We requested a different room and they were looking into it but never got a called back
- 5/5
No complaints
- 2/5
Tiny roaches but a place close to town and food and has a bed and shower , so if you are not picky it’s a good spot to stay.
- 2/5
The Inn needs to be rebuilt and cleaner
- 5/5
Thanks it was good

Pas dormi, hommes se disputer très fort dans la nuit , pas propre et très vieux et pas entretenu , ne pas arrêter la

The place was barely a one star and that’s only because people make up the star system. The pictures are deceptively advertised. I was compelled to choose the place since I was at the Final Four and could not get a room at a competitive price, but when I showed up, I said, this isn’t the place. It’s called, The Inn at Market Square on the advertisement. When you show up it has a broken sign that reads the inn and stay. The area the facility looked seedy. I ended up, driving around downtown San Antonio and then going to the locations web site and booking a room which was very expensive, but after that experience. It was worth it. They should be fined for deceptive practices, why is this place even listed on a national site for lounging and tourism.
- 1/5
This place was awful. The pictures online are nothing like the real motel. The card to our door didn't work because someone either kicked it in or forced their way in. We walked in and literally walked back out. There was no way we were gonna feel safe here at night.
- 3/5
There were too many drug attics, people living in the property. Check out time came and the office was closed and couldnt check out when needed.
- 1/5
The room did not have towels, a trash can, or a microwave. The stores nearby were locked due to the area being unsafe, window service available only. The hotel clerk would rev his motorcycle at all times of the night so battery wouldn't die. The facility needs a lot of work. Not worth it.
- 0.5/5
Everything. The literal door handles were falling off, beds were stained, floors weren't clean, the one towel was anything but white. To top off there are a ton of homeless that try to sneak into the rooms. I had one try and get in my car checking in.
- 1/5
It was unkept no towels or toiletries. I canceled and went elsewhere.

The stay was good. There is remodeling being done. The front clerk was great was attentive. It’s a great place for a stop and go trip.

Fist, the name of this motel, is not the same as it is listed on Hotels.com. As well, the pictures of the motel are not at all the reality of it. It is run down, dirty, and infested with tweakers, including the woman at reception. The lobby, unlike its photo on Hotels.com looked as if it had never been touched by soap or even gazed upon by a janitor. As for the room, it was filthy as well. It hadn't been cleaned of the grime on the kitchenette, or the wood particles and dust on the tv stand. The bathroom faired no better, as the sink had toothpaste and a plethora of random hairs, presumably from the last occupant. The painted bathtub also gets a mention, along with the fact that there were no clean towels, nor even a trashcan to be seen anywhere. The two light fixtures above the beds had no bulbs in them and one of them fell off the wall onto my head. Aslo a big shoutout to the door, which by the looks of it had been kicked in, as the top safety bolt was inoperable, because of said damage and the general condition of the door itself. Again, the room shown on the Hotels.com picture was not what I experienced. There was also no smoke alarm, which the City of San Antonio will be hearing about. Lastly, the drug users ouside my room all hours of the night pacing back and forth and making a bunch of noise early this morning, were indeed the icing on this horrid cake/ dumpster fire. This place should be closed and Hotels.com should be ashamed of listing it.
- 4/5
Unfortunately, too many people just hanging around outside the ground
- 1/5
Literally the worst, scariest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Super run down, bed not even made. I turned around and left. Still in the process of getting a refund. Do not stay here!
- 1/5
Lady at check in was friendly ( that was the ONLY good thing) room was smelly, dirty n it had one bed, I had booked a 2 bed..we were moved to another room, didn't smell bad because she sprayed it but afterwards it was smelly!! beds were not comfortable at all, bedding didn't smell clean, no housekeeper around, had to go look for someone to exchange towels, floor was dirty, restroom sink was broken (tacky repaired), NO WI-FI, appliances were dirty , couldn't use coffee maker, it was filthy!! Toilet made a loud weird noise everytime we'd flush, unsafe door lock it didn't seemed it was locked.. very little lighting, one of the lamps over the bed wasn't working.. based from the pictures, seemed they have a breakfast area ,which they don't, they don't offer breakfast or a common area to sit.. it's NOTHING like it seems on their website pictures.. NOTHING, NOTHING AT ALL!! On there it doesn't mention anything about it being under repairs, which is what we were told when we got there, wish they would've given a heads-up but NOPE.. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED, WOULDN'T recommend it to NOBODY, not even my worse enemy!! NEEDS ALOT of IMPROVEMENTS!!! TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE!! The ONLY reason I gave them 1 star was because of that lady at check in!! THE WORST place we've ever stayed at in San Antonio!!
- 1/5
The staff was ok but the hotel was not up to par. Not clean, smelly unsafe. We canceled the same night and have yet to hear about my refund.
- 1/5
Shower backed up no microwave kids running up and down stairs slamming the door and window
- 1/5
The staff did their absolute best, but the owner clearly gave up on this property. They have a huge problem with bugs and homeless people breaking in among other things.
- 1/5
Service was ok but the Hotel not, I do not recommend it
- 0.5/5
Roach coming out the beds everything was dirty nothing worked in room.. old rusty microwave horrible place Nothing worked and they didn’t have nothing to clean with when I asked
- 1/5
Not at all like the pictures. They did allow me an hour extra to check out and brought me my drivers license back the guy forgot to give me at check in False advertisement, didn’t feel very safe, toilet didn’t work, noise, etc
- 5/5
Service was amazing! You get what you pay for. I wasnt expecting anything fancy and please dont. The price justifies what you get. My only complaint is the roach issue.
- 1/5
Had to be moved 4x due to dirty rooms, fridge not working, doors didn't feel secured, lots of homeless people walking around the parking lot, the view is the expressway on one side and the other side was a creek. All rooms didn't have Wifi or phones in the rooms. I will NEVER come back and I WILL let all my friends and family know as well so they don't get fooled by the online pics. I'd rather sleep in my car next time that to stay at this disgusting, very poor, roach infested motel.
- 1/5
They charged us for the room again. :(
- 1/5
Unlivable dirty plumbing no Wi-Fi tv no remote 1 towel sheets dirty we went to another motel told clerk to cancel
- 0.5/5
Nothing it was a horrible place. The place had no water and there were roaches in the room and the sheets were dirty. And we asks to be changed rooms and they said they couldn’t. There was people doing drugs outside and drunk people.
- 1/5
This listing is a scam. The place looks nothing like the listing and is over run with gang activity. Do not pre-pay bc they will deny all refunds and, above all, DO NOT STAY HERE!
- 5/5
I love the fact the front desk clerk was so helpful and beyond nice that she made us feel like family and was just so sweet!!! I know they were working on the breakfast hopefully the next time we go that will be done other than that it felt like home and I hope to be moving there a lot sooner than usual
- 1/5
Room full of roaches and other small insects. There was spider web in a corner. The air conditioner is all rusted. Bad smell in room. Pictures on Expedia are very deceiving. Rooms looked clean in pictures, reality rooms are in deplorable state, old furniture, refrigerator very old and dirty, kitchen as well. Read reviews first before choosing this place. It was a nightmare going to bathroom at night or trying to sleep with bugs appearing all the time. Also once laying bed body started itching, probably bedbugs, had bite marks and itchy skin.
- 1/5
Nasty, dirty, cacarouches everywhere I stayed only one night and left I cancel my other 3 nights and I hope I get a refund on those days don't go to that nasty place...
- 2/5
It was smelly. It looked clean but the edges were dirty.

This place was not good at all for someone to stay at.
- 1/5
THE ROOM WAS FILLED WITH ROACHES AND DIRTY BED SHEETS IT WAS HORRIBLE EVERYTHING WAS DIRTY AND PEOPLE DOING DRUGS OUTSIDE THE HOTEL AND RUDE STAFF WOW THIS WAS BAD.

The lights weren't working the cabinets. Doors were tore off and they were like hoes in the ceiling
- 0.5/5
roaches all over the ceiling. spray bottle nozzles just laying around. hair in the sink and in the tub. toilet was dirty, no toilet paper, towels were dirty. right next to the highway so noisey.
- 1/5
The Ok; Clerk gave us some of her personal towels, she went to another room and replaced our TV. This is definitely the worst hotel I've stayed in, don't go by the pictures on line, the place is pretty runned down.
- 1/5
It was nasty dirty and full of roaches

For 2 rooms.i did show up and never stayed
- 1/5
The Inn look like a place hookers and crack heads, the doors look like cops came to batter the door down, the photos of this place are a complete lie. I sense I could not get a refund and I could not change my plans I had no choice but to stay the night and bare it.This is the worse place I had ever stayed in, and believe me I am well traveled and stayed in some shady places. This was far the worse.

Nothing There was strange people walking around the area appearing to be Selling drugs , I walked into my room, smell like marijuana the people next door to my room were up all night , music going on people are coming and knocking on the door all night, at 6 am in the morning someone tried to get into my room apparently the front desk gave them a key to my room , at 6:20 I get a knock on the door lady in the front desk accusing me, I’m not turning in belongings person can stay there the night before. Very disrespectful. It could have been a tragic night give the person my room especially with one person with a concealed weapon permit . as for the room had roaches and spiders comforter on the bed was all torn up Very bad place to stay !!
- 1/5
This is an extended stay hotel, which has a lot of homeless people living at it! The outside is dirty, noisy, and smells of drugs. Inside the room itself was below average, was able to open the door without the key card once door was closed could see light through it, needless to say, I never slept there(booked for 2 nights), and could not get a refund.
- 0.5/5
Quite a bit.
- 2.5/5
I opened the door the roaches running was not a good site then the dry red polish all over the table and floor. The toilet ran all night, screws where visible on head board to the wall, screwa that held the lock on the door where too big.not worth it.
- 0.5/5
Was pretty dingy, no soap, no toilet paper, no new towels.
- 5/5
For some reason whenever we stay at this hotel, and we have many times, the bathroom doors are broken- can’t close them for privacy — we don’t care much as we are comfortable with each other but you know what i mean. Otherwise great hotel
- 1/5
I refused to stay in a location where people are drinking in front of the office mad dogging them (checking them out for trouble). The parking lot had more individuals drinking walking around the vehicles. Let not forget the shirtless individual who’s pants where half way off swatting imaginary bugs around him.
- 2/5
The photos are fake! The hotel and rooms look nothing like what is portrayed online. There is no cafe or welcoming lobby area. The grounds are all mud! No extra towels no hair dyer no ice machine no breakfast. Everything was run down and old. Its like they started to update/remodel but stopped half way through. Not with in waling distance of market square.
- 2/5
They charged me for two nights and I was just one night
- 2/5
It had leaves on the floor and roaches.
- 3/5
The stay was ok. The AC didn’t work properly. It seemed to cool but then would stop cooling. My guess is that it needed some maintenance done to it. Over all was ok for the price.
- 1/5
The front desk was very friendly but the rooms.... i wont even start. The pictures on the site are completely inaccurate...i got the key went up and right back down to get a refund.
- 3/5
Too many roaches an homeless hanging around the area
- 3/5
Was ok. Not on the best side of town but rates are inexpensive
- 2/5
Suggest looking elsewhere.
- 1/5
Holes in shower, stains on pillows and blankets, dirty floors, dirty old tub, broken deadbolt.
- 1/5
I usually Trust Expedia reviews but this is that one time where they got it all wrong. The room before entering it smelt like weed outside, the door couldn't open as it felt rusted shut, when the door did open there were shoe water marks on the floor and the bed sheets were stained. I didn't even stay the night. I asked the hotel Manager for a refund which she agreed to. To this day I notice Expedia has charged my account.
- 1/5
Nothing like the picture
- 4/5
My dogs were comfortable and so were we.
- 1/5
I got to the hotel and I had no reservation even though I made the reservation 3months ago and was charged back in July. Then when I finally got a room it was nothing like what was on your website - I didn’t stay it was not safe there.
- 2/5
There were a bunch of tattooed men outside by our car, who appeared extremely shady when we registered. The room was dirty, had no towels, and the toilet paper was very cheaply made, coming apart. The refrigerator did not work, and when we attempted to close the front door, the security latch fell down since it was broken. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and our backs hurt when we left the room. The air conditioner stunk, and there was a horrible odor in our room. I do not recommend this hotel.
- 1/5
Locks and doors are in terrible condition. Lights flicker or don’t work,
- 1/5
We checked into the hotel and walked to our assigned room to find that there were already individuals inside our assigned room. Had to go back to the front office to get assigned a different room. The different room that we got was dark and dingy. The ceiling you can see a few foot long section where it is coming apart. Overall not very well maintained. When checking out they could not refund our deposit on Sunday and apparently we had to wait for the owner to process the refund on Monday. When asked how would they know to refund me back, they answered that there is a log book that the owner checks and I would be taken care of. Called back on Thursday and guess what? The refund was not processed yet and the owner is not there so I will need to wait again for the deposit to be refunded.
- 1/5
The staff were rude, the first room they put me in was dirty, so they put me in another room which was again dirty, they he brought me around the property checking on each room to see which one is clean. We found the room, #233, it smelled like someone had been smoking in there but he claimed it’s a non- smoking room. There was no towels, no soap, TV was not working, foul smell. I was so tired and that I told him the room was fine and I’ll stick to it. I’ve ask him to make sure he brings me towel. Never did. Overall, I will never stay at this place.
