The staff was great and having the 12pm check out time was amazing! The room was very clean and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean room, friendly staff. Just didn't care for glass barndoors to cover shower area
- 5/5
I liked the friendly service, and clean rooms. Only issue was that our key continually did not work, so we had to make trips back to the front desk for help.
- 5/5
The stay was great (even thou we didn't see/hear any ghosts, lol). The only issue, which has nothing to do with the hotel, was the adjacent parking lot. The website to pay didn't work (met a guest in the elevator and she stated she had issues, too) and the phone number went unanswered. Staff did let us know of the metered parking and after that all was great.

Thank You for giving us room 810. The room was overall lovely with warm water. However I'd reccommend fixing the flickering lights and redesign the elevator. Thank You
- 5/5
All the staff were very friendly, and helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay. It was only for two nights but the hotel is nice and fun to be at. Very different and very historical. So much character. The only thing that was difficult was walking my service dog. There was no place that was close that had grass for this purpose. Other than that I would definitely stay again.

We loved the older hotels that have some history. The Emily Morgan did not disappoint. From the facilities, to the staff, to the location, it was all very nice!

We were very tired , and once we were there, to check in the system was down . There’s no parking place and is 58$ per parking place just one day . The hotel cancel my reservation . Worse experience ever

We loved that the hotel was conveniently close to a lot of places we wanted to see. The rooms were very nice and clean. All the staff we spoke to were very welcoming and friendly. We would love to come back and stay!
- 5/5
I had however wished the pool was open and there was a fridge in the room for convenience. I would reccommend staying here and making sure to talk to the staff and share haunted experiences and stories .

Really old refurnished building, still looks old. The room was extremely small, I stayed in a super 8' the day before and it was way bigger. When we checked in there was no system and we had to wait for an hour to get our tiny room, also wifi never worked !! Nothing was as it was advertised, the rest menu is pretty basic ans closed super early; Didn't like it and will not return.
- 4/5
Decor is tasteful but bathroom feels a bit dingy and dated, and maintenance appeared spotty. For history and architectural style, it's an awesome attraction and interesting stay!
- 3/5
The distance to the Alamo and downtown were nice and some of the staff were kind The whole building was very warm, and our AC in our room never seemed to actually cool the room either. When we came to check in at 4, they told us it would be 20-30 minutes until our room was ready; after 15 minutes I went to ask if there were any other rooms available with a different receptionist & she got us checked in immediately (this was never offered previously even though we did make it known we needed time to get ready as we were having dinner at the hotel). the room definitely needed some updates as there were water stains on the roof and a stain on the sheets, and the bar service was extremely slow as well. some of the staff were nice and dinner was great, but the hotel was subpar for how it’s advertised unfortunately!

Great customer service and the cookies were a bonus! Bar closed early.

The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The value of the hotel and We found areas to be overlooked when cleaning, especially under couches in the lobby and in our room. ** We found something very harmful in our room so either a previous guest or someone who entered to clean left it behind. On the first overnight we think the staff came in our room but did not remake the bed or leave extra towels. When we ordered in the bar it took 20 min to get water and 37min to get an order of fries. There was no pool on site and no where to use one at a sister company or partnering site. We wouldn't have booked if that were clear. Online it noted there was one on the 12th floor. In the bathtub area around the caulking there is a hole the thickness of a card that you can see through completely to the outside of the building.

We slhave stayed at this hotel on many occasions amd it never disappoints. We loved it here because it's centrally located.

I like that it was close to the river walk That the bath tubs are a little slippery. And there is no free breakfast and free parking. If all that was included it would have been the cherry on the ice cream to sum it up.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Staff was very friendly, room was clean and nice, and close proximity to a lot of places.

My itinerary stated 2 beds and I booked this room for my family that came into town, not knowing they put them in a room with 1 king bed. They didn’t tell me until after the stay. Disappointed to hear they all had to sleep on one bed and the sofa.

Restaurant/Bar SUCKS!!!!
- 4/5
The staff made the MINOR imperfections of the property worth it! What can one expect from an old, historic building?! However, the room was huge and beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was super spacious and had everything we needed. Gorgeous old building with rich history! And, again, the staff was amazing!
- 5/5
The front desk staff were friendly. They gave my kids cookies when we checked in. Checking was fast. We requested a crib and it was already in our room when we arrived. The room stayed nice and cold and parking was close by. The location was perfect and close by alot of places. Would stay here again.

The staff was exceptional! Johnny, Rudy, Julio. All incredibly nice with great recommendations and suggestions in the area. Always welcoming and warm. Offering cookies and water in nearly every interaction. Special shout out to Victor! Shared some the hotels haunted history and created some magic for us. Thanks for a great stay!

With in walking distance to everything. Bars, entertainment,Alamo, downtown . Pool was closed for maintenance, weight room was great and clean. City view is great at night.Donot know his name, but gentleman at front desk was real friendly and polite. Went out of his way to help you. Hotel is really clean and all people were friendly and polite. Would defiently book again.

Just make sure you have money for parking. Otherwise it’s a great place to stay and close the Alamo and Riverwalk.
- 5/5
Great service, location, and rooms! I would highly recommend staying here.
- 5/5
I loved my stay here. The room was beautiful, and it was a great location. The staff was wonderful. However, the pool was closed, and the gym bathroom could use more work. Having water bottles in the rooms and in the gym was really cool, and the warm cookie at check-in is a nice touch.
- 4/5
Did not know that there is a parking fee of 50.00 a night. When I got the bill that was charged to my credit card, it included 90.00 in extra charges even though I tipped the Valet each day.
- 5/5
The room was immaculate and full of history.. highly recommend!
- 3/5
Pool was shut down for repairs, they didn't let us know that when we called ahead. Bartender was terrible. Parking for the valet was 55$. Room was a typical room. Location was great. Front desk staff was amazing.
- 5/5
Overall, amazing!
- 5/5
Great stay! Will definitely be staying again in the future
- 5/5
Great place and paid parking was conveniently located right next door,or valet is also available. Very clean rooms and an excellent staff
- 3/5
The rooms were very nice and clean. The restrooms were not very private. There is a sliding glass door which does not allow much privacy if you are sharing a room. Rooms were a little pricey considering that you have to pay $35 or $50+ for valet parking or higher at night for parking. Breakfast was not included in the room price. Staff were friendly. After checkout my card was charged $521 extra and I had to call them to have it corrected.
- 5/5
Beautiful historic hotel with easy access to Alamo, Mall and easy access to River walk
- 5/5
I do have to mention The awesome and friendly staff they have there. Rudy at the front desk was so pleasant and informative as was Tonie who made me a cup of tea in the morning.. Thank you so much for that Tonie. And then the maintenance man Abel who was quite entertaining with his stories and was very helpful! Thank you all for allowing me to spend my birthday in a very nice place.

Staff was super friendly in making sure we got a nice room to fit our needs and again several hours after check out when we realized we had left our laptop behind they made sure we got reunited with it in a timely manner.

This place is old and run down. The staff was barely ever present. The food is awful. Parking is outrageously expensive. The plugs didn’t work in the room. The room was dirty and run down. It should be shut down and overhauled.

Came here for my daughter‘s birthday and it was a wonderful day. We got there late in the evening and checked out the next day, but we got to walk and see the Alamo and some of the other surrounding areas. Great time thoroughly enjoyed it would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
The location is the best part of this property and the only reason to stay here for the price. The staff is very friendly but for what they charge, there are much nicer options not too far away. The rooms we were in were in desperate need of an upgrade, as well as the plumbing.
- 2/5
First of all the hotel didn’t have any air-conditioning. Therefore, the air smelled very unpleasant. Secondly, the dishes in the restaurant were dirty. Lastly, the photos on Expedia showed that the two beds were in the same room, but in the actual room, the two beds were in separate rooms and there’s a bathroom in between them. That made it very awkward to move around.
- 5/5
Spacious, clean room with all necessities. Nice public spaces in the lobby and restaurant area. I’d stay here again.
- 4/5
Oddly enough didn’t know this hotel was haunted until some lady told us about it in the elevator. We stayed two nights and on night two after midnight, our room phone began to ring. Upon answering the line, it stayed silent before hanging up.
- 5/5
The Hotel was beautiful and the rooms were super clean. My only complaint was the lack of amenities. No free breakfast and the pool was closed.
- 5/5
Great staff and service
- 2/5
The air conditioner didn’t work the first day and we weee given a fan. We had No hot water in the shower. Day 2 the found out that someone turned off the air conditioner up in the roof. They got the air conditioner to work, but the thermostat did not. still no hot water. We never got any help with the hot water. It was very disappointing based on the type of location that it is. The best thing was the staff was very friendly. We were hoping for a offer to change rooms but to solutions we’re ever offered
- 5/5
Great friendly and knowledgeable staff, Alamo/city view was beautiful, the restaurant/bar was nice, quiet, comfortable, everything was wonderful except that the bathroom tub in our room had something in the drain from last visitors, what looked like a pink ribbon. Overall stay was still excellent, great nights rest.

Veronica at front desk wasn’t willing to help me with my reservation, which couldn’t be found. I had to make the line again, so someone else helped me, it was fast, not complicated at all as Veronica was saying. I almost have to go and find another hotel.

Building
- 2/5
As expected, it’s an old building but I figured it would be in better shape as a Hilton hotel. The room we stayed in never cooled down below 75 degrees. The hallways and common areas were cooler than our room. There was a fan in the room, which leads me to believe the property management knows about the cooling issues. Had I known the room would stay hot, I definitely wouldn’t have booked here. It’s difficult to sleep in a hot room, even with a fan. Valet should be a convenience, however at this property it was an inconvenience with the one way street causing delays. We waited about 25 mins for our car. Overall, the stay was okay at best. Definitely will not be a returning guest.

Great room & staff!!

The Staff are amazing, the rooms are outdated, and the air conditioning did not work in some rooms, but the staff are the best

My email is [email protected] This was an amazing place to take my grandkids to. Thank you
- 2/5
The room was in need of many repairs several things were not working in the suite we stayed in. The heat and a/c the spa tub all needed a main person to fix . No pool but hotels.com did not say it had been drained . The food was ok eggs from a container, ok sausage and bacon , and the fruit was all out of season and most over ripe . So it was not good at all . And one option for yogurt . Kinda weak for 20 something dollars each . The cookies are great thought . You get those when u come in . The view was amazing and the staff were some of the best people I’ve meet in San Antonio and I live here . All in all I expected the full service open the door for you welcome u clean nice working room and all the amenities advertised. That was not what we got at all . I’d go again if they had a lot of repairs done to the rooms. I have plenty of pics of the actual if everything if needed . Don’t book through hotels.com !!!! That’s the facts .found that out the hard way . And the additional fee per person to ensure u get what ur paying for is a total scam . I was told it doesn’t cover that . Good luck guys . Book three Hilton the staff will be able to make it right .
- 5/5
Clean, great staff, loved the room set up and the view
- 3/5
The staff at the front desk was friendly. As was the staff that does maintenance and housekeeping. The Bar on the hand, the bartender was SUPER rude and dismissive. The room was small, but clean. Comfortable shower. The AC was not working, maintenance went in to “fix it” on the first night and it was cooling a bit, but by the early morning it was once again hot. That evening when we returned at about 10pm, we had to call the front desk again about having the AC fixed, they ended up moving us to a different room. Overall, it was an ok experience, nothing exceptional to say about it. The best part was that it was right next to the Alamo.
- 5/5
We left some clothes and that was handled very well!!
- 3/5
This hotel is in poor repair. Our room was less than clean. No one has been vacuuming under the curtains because a pill box was found in my moms room and debris in ours. The mirror and light sconces in our bathroom were extremely crooked and there was toilet paper fragments on the wall. Other places in the halls and interior need new coats of paint and hotel ran out of hot water by 11pm.

Richard was great when we checked in!

We have stayed many times and it is always an amazing experience. Staff are friendly, building and rooms are clean and amazing!

The staff was lovely—particularly for this time of year!
