Honestly my wife and I don't expect much from Super 8 all we need is a bed and a shower and that's what we got. It was cheap reasonably clean, the bathroom was a little on the worse side but overall it was okay.

The maintenance of the motel is poor.

We loved the waffles, we liked the pool. The rooms needed more cleaning, clean sheets, towels, floors, table, the pool was a bit dirty too. One of our rooms had a bad smell and the other room smelled clean.

It a cozy little place. It very quiet and it right off of IH35 and it got some nice restaurants and it close to the Forum’s. And 16 04. The construction sometime can be a little tedious.

We stay one night since I was going to the Alamodome with my wife and son. It was a 15 minute drive to the Alamodome. It was great for one night and they even had breakfast. Cereal, waffles, juice and coffee. Clean room and friendly staff.

Staying here is 7 out of 10 because once I arrive the room everything seem fine until I find bedsheet with blue line spot around it but I call right way but they can’t change until morning time definitely need housekeeping 24 hour in case anything happen but staff are friendly and kind with smile on it but the definitely need more cleaning when someone checking in new room

My family and I stayed at hotel . We spend 3 nights there we arrived on Thursday night everything was fine. Come Friday morning at 8:30am after my husband left to work the cleaning guy open the door to our room while my daughter and were asleep my medical dog ran at the door n the guy closed it fast Saturday he open the door again at 8:55am again after my husband left, N Sunday morning at 7:25am my husband had just left, I went to the restroom and he open the door while I was in the restroom. The front office made excuses for the man. Please be careful more if u have small kids I believe that man is a pedophile, because he only did it when my husband left. I called the the cops and made a police report they said it was an invasion of privacy and other charges can be filed. I have been so scared that I haven't slept since this happened on April 24,25 and the 26 of 2026. What would have happened if I had not tooken my medical dog, what would that man have done to me and my daughter. Please stay away from this hotel. We even gave the my dog medical license so they knew my dog was in the room. His job is to protect us and he did a very good job.

The room was decent quality, but I would say the rooms are not very soundproof and I could hear people talking in the hallways most of the night. Also the microwave in the room kept beeping randomly until I figured out how to unplug it. Not a bad place to stay for an overnight, but if you prefer quiet, I don’t recommend it.

The pool was kept clean, and the shower was very good. Housekeeping cleans daily, but I saw several roaches in my room. There was a brick wall in front of my window. If you stay here, do not accept a room on the first floor. Noise from upstairs was constant, like they were running/moving furniture back and forth 24/7.

Omg do not waste your money the floor had tape on it to hold it together, there were roaches the bed comforter was stanky with burn holes. The lamp shades were torn up with yellow stains on them the bathroom was horrible no toilet seat lid.. dirty linen bad property do not rent…. The chair was so nasty u would throw up..

I know for a fact that room 221 has a serious serious roach infestation it was to the point to where I couldn't lay down all night I set up in a chair and killed roaches all night because they wouldn't move me and I go to the front desk and ask do you guys have rated lease he said no they didn't have any bug repellent to come back and and 7:00 in the morning whenever the other manager was going to be there I came down and told the manager about the roaches he kind of blew it off at first until I showed him video after video after video I'm about 30 roaches I killed then he wants to you know take action and move me to another room and then he didn't want to move me to another room he wanted to come in and have his the other guy spray this repellent that they concocted up in this thing and it's squirting all over everything and then after you spray this repellent on everything I'm supposed to be cool and be like is everything good we're good wow wow their mattresses are filthy if you ever are making up a bed please do not lift up the mattress cover cuz you'll be going down there getting your money back wanting to leave just sharing some of my stories

No, I didn’t get to enjoy the pool goddamn there in the afternoon that’s the place on 7 o’clock tonight. The place has roaches and dirty sheets with stains. And the comforter has burnt holes.

I booked this location because it showed a picture of a continental breakfast. We arrived and asked where the breakfast was, they had none, even within the breakfasthours advertised in the room (6a-9a). They should update their photos/info because that feels like false advertising.

Hotel did not have my reservations when I got to the property. Pool door was locked during normal operating hours.

They advertise breakfast, don’t have it. Charge a deposit when you get there, that deposit is different for each customer, at least that is what I witnessed. I was charged $40, the lady behind me $100, my friend nothing. Broken glass all over floor, dirt under the comforter, along with the sheets. Towels smelled dirty, no Toilet paper in the room, or toiletries of any kind. Had to go buy them ourselves. Evidently housekeeping closes at 3pm

This is the 2nd time we stay at this Super 8. Although the one at Universal City is closer, we like this one better!

the whole property smelled like cigarettes, there were burn holes in the sheets, the bathroom smelled like dirty socks, and every piece of metal was rusted and about to fall apart. there was no breakfast in the morning.

Great staff. Location looks rough. Staff was courteous and helpful. Carpet in stairway was very worn and the bathroom door was looking like it wanted to fall apart.

Really enjoy staying here anytime we're in town, the rooms are kept clean and the staff is always friendly, we had an issue with the fridge in our room and they were really quick to take care of it. Will definitely stay here again for all that, plus the price makes it even a better deal!

Rooms were good, amenities were lacking. Check in process was a little disjointed but other than that was what you would expect

Room was comfortable but the entire hall of our floor smelled like cigarette smoke. Breakfast was NOT included or available. I was told "oh well; they changed that". Coffee was available but awful. No elevator in a 3 story hotel with indoor entrances. AND, the back door tat should be accessible by key only, had a plate over the latch so it didn't lock at all. The rating that led me to pick this was misleading at best.

The staff was very friendly. Our room was pretty descent and clean. The outside of the hotel looked a little rough due to the building right next door being condemned and the roadway construction in the front of the hotel. The vending machine did not work and the drinks inside of the machine was warm. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool because it closed at 10pm.

For a budget hotel it was very good, cleaned room daily , nice staff. Has breakfast, but small, coffee and a bite to eat.

Hallways and rooms smelled heavily of old smoke. Other residents , children and their pets good super noisy as the sun went down ALL NIGHT until 6am. People were drunk and fighting outside as well.

Our room was very clean :). Even though we asked for a non-smoking room, there was a smoky smell in the hallway outside our room. Also, the blow dryer in the room didn’t work. Overall, it was adequate.

It would be nice if there was more detail to some of the cleanliness of the room, dust balls around the bed and some of the lightbulbs needed to be replaced and perhaps some maintenance on the appearance of the air condition unit. More than anything it’s just fine-tuning on things that can be done to upkeep the property.

As we arrived it was easy check in and check out.. clean..quite..great breakfast might need a bit more breakfast muffins but perfect thank you all for a great evening.. and bless night sleep.. blesssings

It’s was just good to sleep and then leave room are not great at all. Then there is deposit you have to leave when it’s not mentioned on hotel.com.

When you first walk into the building there is an overwhelming smell of smoke. It seems the guests smoke right in front of the front door and the smell goes in that way. I had booked a room for a family of 5 which was clearly stated in the search and was provided a room that fit 4, which made sleeping extremely uncomfortable. The pool was very dirty. the hotel seems to be in a bad area, Which isn’t the hotels fault but I wouldn’t walk out in the area alone or with my children. It’s very difficult to sleep at night aside from the lack of room it’s very noisy in the surrounding area. Again not the hotels fault but just a heads up. The staff was very nice and helpful as much as they could be but there wasn’t much that could be done during my stay aside from leaving.

only needed the room for a night it was a average experience..but was noisy and even if your in a non smoking room the out side still smells like smoking

The property was fine over all for being somewhere cheap to stay. Could have been better but you get what you pay for. Would stay again if money was tight though.

Check in was fast, everything was explained, hotel had a deposit of $40 with option of card or cash. Clerks when checking in and out were profesional and polite. Continental breakfast from 6am-9am. It offers non smoking rooms.

The bathroom sink sprayed water everywhere didn’t realize it until my pants were soaked leaning up against the sink. I started feeling itch and getting asthma so the room was used last with someone who had pets and I am allergic to pet hair and dander. I was tired and just took allergy medicine.

The front desk staff is rude, bitter and above all so disrespectful! I stayed in the same room from Friday- Monday AND HAD TO PAY EARLY CHECK IN FEE OF 25-35 DOLLARS AND ON 2 DAYS AFTER CHICK IN THEY KEPT TRYIN TO CHARGE ME SEPSIS!

Was a great start... minor set back was gnats were in the room heavily. The early Mornin staff, amazin. Then the young lady that took over afternoon/ evenin was rude and actually is over charging me an extra 10 dollars 35 for early check in while i origami paid 25... treated me like extending my stay would not be ideal. Wanted to charge me 167.98 for 2 nights plus 35 dollars because now is Saturday and that's what she charges. I was so impressed but not happy at

Abandoned building right next door to hotel & a strip club which are not pictured when the location is pulled up on Maps. I did not feel comfortable to stay there let alone have my child there. Lobby smelled funky. I did not stay & when trying to get a refund, Expedia declined to refund even due to the lack of information, & photos provided to customers!

I wouldn’t mind staying again but my room would need air freshener. Also one other small complaint, the coffee in the lobby looked like dirty water so I opted to make coffee in my room (you should consider switching to k-cups) and my coffee maker acted like it was going to brew my coffee but after 10 minutes of waiting…. NO COFFEE ☹️.
