The location was GREAT! Staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to get adjoining rooms which was a HUGE plus! Parking lot was easy to get in & out of. The shower was good & hot! Good amount of towels were provided. Housekeeping staff was so sweet! We felt safe there. The lobby has a smell to it. The elevator left a lot to be desired, I almost didn't think we would make it to the 3rd floor. No coffee maker in the room, the microwave was missing parts, the refrigerator didn't have the pieces for the door to put things in the door, the door to the fridge didn't close without being pushed hard. The 3rd floor hallway was not air conditioned & it didn't work when we went to adjust it. No toiletries but a small bar of soap. Breakfast was a granola bar. The rooms do need attention.

It is very close to Brooke Army Medical Center. Our room had cockroaches visible in the room. The breakfast is misleading. It consists of coffee, juice, and granola bars that you have to ask for.

No food for breakfast, just drinks. I woke up earlier just to get coffee. Lip liner and food on the floor of room from previous guest. Massive hair ball I pulled from drain. Floor AC was off for entire floor and in the room when I arrived. Floor AC wasn’t turned on until day 3. Human poop was in a trash can for over 7 days that was next to the elevator and right outside my door, I had to smell it every time I walked by. I heard the cleaning people talking about it through my door when getting ready and that it had been there for over a week. The ice machine was broken. Fridge smelt bad. Floor constantly smelt of weed like someone was smoking in their room.

The ac was off in the room and the temperature was 80 degrees. The exhaust fan didn't work in the restroom, so it was hot and humid when taking a shower. There was dead lizard in the room.

Very bad smell in the room, luckily I was able to open the window to get rid of it. No coat hangers and no supplies in the bathroom so bring your own if you stay there. The room was clean and the air conditioning good. Other than that I think is okay for the money.

The hotel did not provide soap in the room. I went downstairs to request some thinking it was an oversite to only find out they had ran out of individual wrapped toiletries while they were awaiting to have toiletries installed on the wall dispensers. I reported the hotel to the San Antonio Metro Health Dept. There was trash on the floor, which tells me no one cleaned the room prior to my arrival.A wall outlet was not working and whenever we unplugged the fan, the receptacle fell out of the wall. I also reported this issue to San Antonio Code enforcement.

Don’t stay here. Low water pressure through out. That means toilet shower everything was so low pressure. The water barely came out of the shower. Bedding is super thin. Tv is flat but useless with a basic remote. Thank God I had my iPad. Floors are so sticky. Took forever to get my deposit back. Indians don’t care about curb appeal at all. Just spend an extra $50 at a better hotel. This is homeless need a place to stay for the night level!! Seriously. Move on and up your cost filters. You get what you pay for.

To his credit, the gentleman at the front desk tried to hand me two very small granola bars. We had breakfast on the Riverwalk. It was 105 degree the day we arrived and the room didn’t have the ac on. The ac in fact didn’t work at all. The ac was not on in the room they moved us to, but at least it worked. We attended an event at the Alamodome that ended after 10:00pm and took over an hour to get a pizza at Little Caesar’s, so at midnight we get to the room and the keycard doesn’t work. The new card doesn’t work. The master key doesn’t work. The very nice gentleman behind the desk dismantles the lock, reprograms it and it still doesn’t work. It turned out the maid had locked the deadbolt from the outside. It was after 12:30 when we finally got in. Combined with construction on the access road this was the worst night I’ve had in a hotel since the Milner Hotel in Seattle in July of 1973. It was $2/night.

Also, no breakfast. Just a couple of complimentary granola bars and some coffee. Again, ok, at this price point, maybe it was wrong of me to think they would have any sort of breakfast. Would I stay here again? Yes. Again, it is what it is. But I would come prepared.

Staff was friendly Lobby and hallways smelled bad, elevator broke down on us while in it. The panel from the elevator where the buttons are were falling off. Room was VERY small, bed was uncomfortable and only gave us 3 pillow between 2 people instead of the standard 4. The toilet felt like it was going to break off when you sat on it ( I’m only 160 lbs so I cannot imagine someone who is larger than that sitting comfortably on it). The floors in the bathroom were warped from water damage and paint was chipping off the corners of the bathroom as well. “Clean” Towels had stains on them.

This hotel was a great place for me to stay. The accommodation had a microwave, mini-fridge, and dependable WiFi, and it was tidy and peaceful. The front desk employees were welcoming and ready to help anytime we needed it. The free parking was quite handy, and we also liked hanging out by the outdoor pool. The website is very misleading: they stated there would be breakfast and breakfast consisted of juice or coffee and a granola bar. The halls smelled of burnt fish curry (that’s the closest thing I can think of to describe the smell). I was charged $100 on top of the cost of the room for a deposit. The room was damaged in several places including no smoke alarms (I thought that was required by law!). I took pictures so that I was not charged for the damages, I informed the desk clerk and was told “yeah, they know about the damages”. I also woke up with bites around the side of my waist, I’ve never had bedbug bites so I’m not entirely sure but I was in the bed when I sustained them. Please do not stay here!! I will also be cancelling my Wyndham account, any corporation that endorses these type of establishments, I want no part of.

It was somewhere my kids and I can get some rest. The room was like a sauna when we first arrived, and the AC never really helped it was uncomfortable until we finally fell asleep and wasn’t thinking about it. The TV had limited channels really only news and infomercials on to watch. I paid for a room to include breakfast and there was no breakfast provided. And I really feel like it’s crazy that the security deposit was more than what I actually paid for the room, and still really didn’t get what I paid for.

I have been staying in this building annually since it was built. I understand things age and times change. However, it’s time for me to look for different lodging. Rooms seem stripped. No tv remote. AC wouldn’t adjust below 72 in hot humid San Antonio. Exterior doors wouldn’t unlock with keys. Elevator was broken. Clerk said room wasn’t paid and charged me. I later went back and presented him with my emailed receipt from 5 months earlier.

Leaking toilet water everywhere. Broken desk seat. No shampoo at all. No coffee. No towels had to ask for them. Ac broke and went to F1 error. Fire alarm went off twice middle of the night for no apparent reason. Elevator was broken more than working. So while it had clean sheets the bed was also broken in the springs sank down and very uncomfortable. But convenient location to frost bank center. I’ll get different hotel next year I won’t be back. Usually I enjoy my stay but this time I did not.

I’ve been staying here for the past month, and the staff and property are mostly a delight to behold. The front desk is primarily staffed by an angel known as Miss Janet, and Housekeeping is led by a courteous sweetheart who might as well be my very own grandma. My only gripe thus far has been a constant and unrelenting disappointment with their Internet service. It is the most unreliable and frustrating thing ever should you have to rely upon it. Ranging from functional at best to complete service outages “because it’s raining” it has been the dark cloud over my otherwise mostly peaceful stay here. There has also been a lingering foul odor on the second floor near the laundry room, which seems to intensify whenever it rains, but otherwise, a pleasant stay.

Literally the worst place I have ever been to in my life. I came in town for a concert and ended up leaving the same night after the show because I could not stay in such poor conditions. The room smelled like used underwear after football practice and Indian street food, all mixed in with a hint of soggy socks. Had to open the window, which I'm glad they're not concerned with suicidal guests, turned the fan on in the bathroom, that sounded like I was on the tarmac next to a 777-300, and that alleviated the smell by 15%. The bed was comfortable, the shower was really good, but the smell was THICK. If your allergies are severe and you can't smell anything you'd probably enjoy the stay a lot more than I did.

Excellent value for the money. The staff's ability to speak multiple languages really helped my parents, who don't speak English well. I greatly valued their kindness and patience. The location was also good; it was quiet but close to the city center.

I was pleasantly surprised during my brief overnight stay while traveling through San Antonio. We arrived late and didn't want to deal with meters or garages, so the free parking was a huge plus. The front desk team was very friendly, and the check-in procedure went smoothly.

I stayed at Super 8 from Thursday to Sunday and had a pretty disappointing experience. The staff was extremely rude and made me feel unwelcome. The hotel also felt unsafe, which was a big concern. They required a $100 deposit, which I found excessive. Although it’s conveniently located near Frost Bank Center I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here. Also their elevator didn’t work at the time. Additionally, they have a policy where if you stain one of their towels even slightly with makeup, they keep the $100 deposit, which I find extremely rude. It just adds to the overall feeling of not being welcome and safe.

Stains on the bedding and ceiling, window open and hard to lock, flooring buckling, Tav hanging off the wall. Used towels appeared to be placed back on the shelves rather than washed. Staff was nice but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Toilet leaks. Disgusting, did not see until on the way out. Door swing look torn loos. And does not work. Carpeted rooms. Disgusting, holds germs and dirt. Mold around bath tub. Fan in bath did not work. Remote will not work with cable menu on TV, have to scroll through channels. Trash all over outside, and not new stuff. Pool is green Paint all over needs touchup. No door sweep, so hallway sounds come in. Drapes old and worn with holes. Door card stopped working and door jams trying to open. Parking spots are too tight, careful with door dings.

I do not recommend, unless you’re desperate. NO ELEVATOR which is a huge inconvenience. It has been out of service for quite some time, apparently, so this says a lot about the ownership/management. They don’t care. They wouldn’t even give me a first floor room that I requested when I booked online 24 hrs in advance. The room was extremely hot and didn’t cool down until around midnight. There was still hair on the toilet and tub. There was a large space between the door and frame so anyone could see in. I taped up some paper to block it. And they have NO BREAKFAST. Not even coffee. They don’t advertise any of this on booking sites so I was blindsided. Do yourself a favor and pick another hotel.

I had asked for a downstairs since my husband is disabled. They instead put us upstairs and the elevators were broke. Pool was really dirty as well.

Great stay. Would do again. Only drawback is the noise coming from the hiway and especially the trains, which blow horns several times at night. Otherwise, the facility is good, clean, and the staff is great.

The rug itself was sticky in my room. The wall had damage on it, but the bed was well made and clean. The facilities were well maintained, however the caulk on the corners of the shower in the walls were missing. I didn't mind the elevator not working, but it was difficult walking up and down two flights of stairs alone with a 2 year old and several bags.
