I liked nothing. There was roaches and the water from the toilet and shower where constantly running. I liked nothing. I have been calling the property only for someone to keep hanging up the phone.

Property was easy to check in to but I was not given the room I booked and was dismissed by the staff who indicated they overbooked and nothing could be done. They overbooked and had to give me a different room that requested. They tried to gaslight me that I had booked the wrong room, but when presented with my booking confirmation stated all my preferred room had been booked even though I booked a week in advance. There were several roaches and the floor was unswept. The door did not secure properly without having to jiggle the handle and push in. There were no blankets on the bed and only 1 sheet.

Horrible smell in room. Air conditioner was leaking water causing a puddle in the room. Kitchenette appeared to be falling apart. Front desk clerk was very helpful.

We got what we paid for. They are masters of taking a nice picture of the room. There were roaches on our bed. A smell in the room. Wi-fi was week at best. If you go there, bring your own sheets and a diffuser. Air-conditioning was good. Bring your own essentials. Kitchen utensils if you intend to use the kitchen.

My toilet in the room did not flush. I paid $50 deposit to rent dishes. All of the dishes they gave me were dirty. Roaches dropped out of the ceiling edit I was using the restroom, that didn’t flush.

The room itself was ok but very obviously not cleaned. The mattress liner was covered in hair and plastic? bits. There was a random pill on the floor, a bottle cap in the corner, the floors were sticky and dirty (my feet were practically black after walking on it), there was some sticky liquid at the bottom of the fridge, flower petals dried on the top of the fridge, dead ants in the freezer, more hair in the bathroom, and even some hair on the 'clean' towels hanging up. Aside from that, the tiles on the floor were cracked, the microwave was rusting profusely, the AC kept turning off throughout the night, and the bed itself was quite hard with very thin pillows. However, it was still comfortable with hot water - granted, no amenities like shampoo, conditioner, extra toilet paper, or hand soap - and both the fridge and microwave worked perfectly fine. The people nearby were very kind and helpful, and you can DoorDash from just about anywhere! When the AC was working, it was very pleasantly cool on the bed and the TV was nice to have. I never did get the WiFi password though. No one was ever at the front desk?

Did not stay! Walked in and immediately walked right out. Booked a Non-smoking room and room wreaked of cigarettes and young man smoking marijuana outside his room down the hall.

I didn't have hot water the whole stay. I was too busy worrying about my loved one at the hospital near by. The air con was ok only it felt a little humid. Did not use kitchen or anything. The pillows were horrible, blankets were horrible and didn't feel clean. Staff was friendly . Check in times are ridiculous 3 pm ?

Over all great service and clean

The biggest concern, however, was safety. Around 3:00 a.m., people were arguing loudly right outside our door, followed by gunshots. We also noticed that a car parked across from ours had multiple bullet holes. We felt genuinely unsafe and decided to leave two days before our scheduled checkout. Overall, our experience was terrible, and we would not recommend staying here.

Pictures didn’t match the room

The room didn’t match the pictures. We were planning on using the kitchenette but the burners wouldn’t work. House keeping came in the room without knocking and tried to tell my son we had to hurry up and check out. There was well over a half hour before we had to check out.

. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was easily found. Also very close to the doctors we had to visit. They were very helpful when I had to make a noise complaint. Both rooms smelled like weed. I would have understood if only the room for smokers smelled but the non smoking room smelled like that too. The bath had a leaky faucet that kept me awake from the constant drip drip drip.

Rude and roaches

Had to change rooms multiple times. We tried to make it work. First room had a strong odor of mold, second room was covered in water from the ac, third room the lights didn't work. She kept offering us room to switch to but it felt like they were getting worse and worse. We had to leave and ended up finding another hotel.

Nothing is as advertised.

A nice location and friendly staff. Room was not stocked well, no soap or wash cloths. Got harassed outside by someone under the influence, maybe not the safest spot.

The room was disgusting. The mattress was filthy. The toilet ran. I called the front desk and they said they would send someone in the morning. They did not show up and we had to leave at noon, so we asked to cancel maintenance until the next day. After we got back, I wanted to shower. O. M. G. It looked like the tub had not been scrubbed in years. The faucet was leaking, too. The kitchen area had old dilapidated cabinets. There were no plates, cups, flatware or pans for cooking. The overhead exhaust was caked with grime. There were bugs and roaches that came out that night. I would not advise anyone to ever stay there.

Our family was in the process of getting a family member transferred from a Hospital in Harlingen to University Health and I had to look for lodging on a short notice so I didn't really pay much attention to the property itself and just booked it that same evening because it was close to hospital, well I was disheartened to see the actual property in person. The place used to be apartments that got turned in to an extended stay motel 6 rooms. Shady people all around, smelly rooms, my door to my room had been previous been pried with crowbar, yellowish linens, the smell of mari-ju-ana wafting thru the air, etc. I can go on and on. I couldn't possibly have my sister-in-law stay there with everything that she is going thru with my brother. Cannot believe that Hotels.com doesn't monitor or inspect these places. That front office staff were ok and they only work with they have so I don't blame them. Needless to say I went and booked 2 rooms at another hotel with almost the similar price which were like day and night. $370 down the drain cause obviously it was too late to cancel, live and learn.

It was a non smoking room, clearly it had been smoked in. I did not bring up to property management because that’s the bare minimum cleaning you should do before a guest arrives. Would not recommend, not even for a quick overnight stay.

We left two days early, the mattress were razor thin, it was like a cot or futon mattress. There were cockroaches and the floors were filthy.

No elevators. Im disabled. Barely made it up the stairs. Got to the room an it was very dirty. Floor looked like it hadn't been swept in a month. The mattress and blanket was extremely stained. I couldn't stay in that. Im immune compromised and cant be in something that dirty. Was supposed to get a refund because stairs are to difficult. Im still waiting for my refund.

This is a very nice place to stay. It’s very quiet and peaceful no problems no roaches great staff and very helpful.

I really like it here at this location. Office Staff is always friendly and helpful and the maintenance man helped out very quickly to get things fixed or replaced. It’s very quiet and no drama outside like other motel 6/studio 6 location's I’ve stayed at. It’s also very close to many restaurants and close access to the freeway and all of medical center. The room rate is very affordable as well. I also love the fact that if you reserve the 2 queen bed suite you get a whole separate bedroom and separate bathroom for each with a little double door in between to close for separate privacy. The little kitchenette also has full size refrigerator and microwave, a sink and lots of pantry space and a mini stovetop with 2 burners. I would choose to stay here over and over. :) and a great plus ….the TV has NBC so I could watch my Spurs during the playoffs. ❤️. Awesome awesome. Keep up the good work Pasteur court location. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great and convenient for hospital patients

I love that it’s convenient because it’s so close to hospital and all convenient stores. The best thing I love is that this place has a kitchen and big refrigerator toaster coffee maker and microwave oven. It saves us from spending on fast foods. Francisco from front desk was very helpful and polite when we asked for another control for TV and exchange linen.

This place is a dump , I’m the first to find the good in everything , but , I left the minute I looked in this room , I pray I get my money back . I did not stay 2 minutes in this area .

It smelt bad

It was really relaxing during my stay at studio 6. I had no issues. The staff is great. It’s very quiet in the area. I didn’t know I was gonna extend my stay it was last minute but the staff was great I was able to pay online no hassles and pick up a new key when I got off of work. That made things even more convenient for me.

The room was very comfortable clean and very convenient to where we had to go.

Air conditioner takes a while to cool down the room. Room didn’t come with microwave or coffee maker. Thought that’s what I read came with room. Having to go to office for clean towels and toilet paper. Besides that it’s been quiet and comfortable.

The first room we got , was steaming hot and reeked of cigarette smoke and mildew. The sheets had stains. We didn't touch a thing & asked for a new room. We didn't feel safe, as several people tried approaching is in the parking lot at the next room, strangers hollering at us in the dark parking lot. Not well lit. Finally decided we just did not feel safe there. Asked for a refund.

Sheets had stain no blanket or pillow in rm had to go get them, says coffee pot in rm but wasnt one and they didnt have any to give me asked for extra pillows didnt have any, batteries out in remote they did try fix but had to go back after they looked for one to give me.

We got a room in the top area and whole outside of the hallway was super dirty the stairs also, room was decent but restroom area there was a few small roaches, iron did not work and second lock on door did not work either, also a few disputes and people arguing outside in different occasions

Staff was polite room was dirty as hell when I got in here seven days ago I’ve cleaned it baseboards walls doors and I’ve asked the staff if they ever needed help and they said they are fully staffed up and doing doing the deal. The rooms are hideous they’re not clean. The linen is horrible. Whoever owns this place if they don’t start cleaning the rooms real good and giving better linen doesn’t have stains all over it. You’re not gonna be able to get much for these rooms just saying.

The room they gave me looked nothing like the advertised photos. Then on top of that it was dirty, with a dead spider and dirt in the bed. Roaches in the bathtub, and dirt all over the floor. 0/10. Stay far away from this place.

That being said, the condition of the hotel is very disappointing. For a location so close to the hospital, I expected much better. The door locks didn’t feel secure, the rooms looked like they were falling apart, and there were people hanging around outside in a way that made the environment feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I only stayed here because I needed something last-minute near a family member in the hospital, and the location was convenient for that. However, I would not personally choose to stay here again. This place has potential because of its location, but it really needs serious cleaning, repairs, and overall improvements. Again, I truly appreciate the staff—they were the best part of my stay.

Loved that it was close to Methodist hospital amd didnt have to deal with traffic. Room was small and compact but it was great. Didnt have toilet paper in room but i just went out amd bought some. No problem. Though kitchen sink was not working or water was turned off but thats ok too. I would definitely use them again.

Property felt ok for pets .Rooms were dirty,there were no pillow cases in the pillows no shampoo or soap then the lady said we have to ask for them before we go in the room ,also there was a giant police camera outside which made me think that place was not safe .kept waking up every 3 hours thinking someone was gonna steal my car do not recommend the hostess was rude and made it seem it was my fault for not asking for pillow cases and soap and shampoo rooms were not clean or broomed and i saw a roach.

The room was full of roaches, the sink in the restroom unfortunately did not work properly, and there were no paper cups or even filters for the coffee pot that was put in the room. We also expected a bigger space for the money paid and the fact that the pictures advertised a bigger looking space for a "deluxe" suite. Fortunately for us we needed the room moreso for our trips to the nearby theme parks and Riverwalk so the fridge keeping our food cold, the table and warm shower were okay enough for us to continue out stay. However we will not be returning to this location since we fully believe that the advertisement did not portray the true dimensions of the "deluxe" rooms and we over paid for a kitchen area that we couldn't use due to the cockroaches.
