Big suites. Pool is nice. Breakfast personnel are amazing. Hallway did smell like potatoes. lol. Don’t know why, maybe the kitchen since we were on the first floor. But then yet this was around 4 pm so no breakfast was being cooked. Walking distance to 54th street bar and grill.

This weekend for the 4th of July we checked into a room that already had guest staying in it and received absolutely rude and disrespectful customer service from manager Arlene in return. She was already rude upon initial check in as she would not address me as a female checking into the room for my boyfriend and I as I was the one who paid for the room. Rude faces and eye contact were made several times as I was ignored repeatedly as she proceed to talk to my boyfriend instead of me despite taking my ID and credit card, not his. Then we proceeded to be checked into a room where guests were already checked into. Upon going downstairs again to fix the error, the rudeness increased tenfold despite it being her error. She kindly spoke to another guest next to us while simultaneously ignoring us as she processed the request. She appeared to have made that error with that guest as well and the customer service between him and I as a female was starkly different. He was offered a fixed rate for the error with lots of apologies where as we got the complete opposite. Even my boyfriend acknowledged the rudeness and how she would not acknowledge me despite being the one booking the room. It was incredibly sad to see that the other regular staff on duty we interacted with were significantly kinder and overall better at their job than her. Do better Arlene.

Could not sleep some nights because of non stop stumping noise from the guest from the next floor. Even with the complaints it still didn’t stop. But overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Room was dirty, bathroom was even worse, hallways smelled like wet dog, one elevator didn’t work & the one that did work was disgusting. Floors creaked in the room. Power went out in the middle of the night one day. Had to turn the lights in the kitchen on so that the rest of the lights in the room would work. Would NOT recommend.

It was very close to the AFB. It was clean. Breakfast was very good. The social nights were an unexpected treat. The staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. I liked everything.

The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The amenities and overall atmosphere made our stay enjoyable. The exceptional customer service stood out and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Honestly, there wasn’t anything significant that I did not like. We had an awesome stay and were very satisfied with our experience.

Nice place, kitchen could have had better upkeep (couldn't open top drawer without accessing from next one down). Shower without door gets water outside of shower and soaked mat.

The property was very clean and had great amenities. It's in a great location close to many restaurants. Rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This will be my go to place to stay when visiting San Antonio.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay. From the moment I arrived Alyssa was friendly and attentive. Check in was a breeze and the once the children went swimming, she brought more towels out without being asked. We had breakfast before checking out and the worker was very nice and busy. (She was moving so much I couldn’t read her badge but maybe Arianna?) She kept the kitchen areas clean and made sure everything was where it was supposed to be. The best staff person has to be whoever is hiring in HR because this staff was amazing!

Everything was very clean and orderly; breakfast was delicious and very fresh; good coffee! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Pool area was clean and neat. We did not use the pool but many others did! Very nice home away from home!

Cons: we can hear all the loud stomping from the upstairs room and loud vehicles from where our room was. The next morning we noticed a cig smell in the room coming from the hallway. But overall the front desk staff were very nice

Polish Staff were friendly and attentive. The room could be cleaned better, same goes with the outdoor pool. We had an issue with the freezer with a foul smell that lingered in the room. They took care of it the next day. The iron had some icky black stuff on it and they replaced it right away. Overall, good location and surrounded by a lot of shops.

Stayed at this same location the week before. Nice hotel, however this booking was NOT as pleasant. The range was inoperable & could not watch cable channels in the room the ENTIRE 3 day stay. One of my main reasons for booking here is these convenient amenities. Disappointed that the staff was not trained to repair/resolve this issue. They did offer “points”on my IGH account they signed me up last week. How is this going to compensate me if I have yet to book through them? Both of my reservations with this hotel have been through hotels.com

Room was better than expected. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at by far. Staff was amazing, rooms were clean. The kitchen and full fridge and freezer was very accommodating. The room came with silverware and cooking utensils.

AF base was an easy drive & about 15 mins away. THE STAFF- they were the best part. They were the nicest ever, responsive & so helpful. Would definitely stay there again if in SA.

One of the guest had a dog that barked for hours. Guests services was contacted multiple times and they apologized and nothing more. Literally hours.

Great experience as we were here for BMT graduation. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We had a king suite with full fridge, microwave, dishwasher and cooktop. Walmart in walking distance so we grabbed some essentials for the stay. Would highly recommend staying here.

The place was not too crowded, quiet, nice staff and clean room, great place to stay when you attend BMT graduation, about 10 minutes drive to the base.

It could've been cleaner. Some of the included cutlery was dirty, but over all the stay was good. Breakfast is ok. A plus is that they have free laundry.

Came to San Antonio for the weekend and I’m so happy my husband found this hotel! Everything was great. The rooms were modern with nice decor. The bed was comfortable and the continental breakfast was good. Definitely a quiet hotel with friendly staff. Thank you for making my birthday enjoyable.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Staybridge Hotel in San Antonio. Although our flight was delayed and we arrived the next day, the staff was incredibly helpful and cooperative when I called to hold our reservation. The lady in the breakfast area was so friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The hotel was spotless and spacious, which added to our comfort. Overall, our experience was smooth and enjoyable.

Very clean room, had a full sized refrigerator, a stove, dishwasher and sink and lots of cabinets, and there was even some dishes and pots and pans to cook with. The shower was also very big and there was plenty of space. And we really enjoyed the breakfast and also how close to Walmart we were, I literally walked over there in like 4 minutes.

The room was clean and quiet. We loved the mini kitchen and fridge. It was a great location to get to Lackland AFB quickly. We were very pleased with our stay and this hotel.

The only bad thing was our room was next to the kitchen. There was a gentleman that worked there was really loud in the mornings. We could hear him through the walls.

However they were able to give me a shower chair that helped. The lady working kitchen breakfast area was rude, & berated me for pouring what was suppose to be OJ down the drain. Machine wasn’t working correctly & dispensed water instead . Outdoor Grill needs more propane, wouldn’t get about 350°, even after 1/2 hour of being on high

Overall we had a good stay! Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 4pm (check in is at 3). So we had to wait about 30 minutes longer. The staff were very nice and apologetic and offered a $10 credit for the pantry for the trouble. The room was clean and very spacious. The king size bed in the bedroom was very comfortable, the pull out couch wasn’t great but that was to be expected in my opinion. We slept great, it was nice and quiet and seems like a safe area! My daughter and friend had a great time at the pool which was nicer than I expected.

This place was perfect! It was close to Lackland AFB, we were in town for a graduation. We wanted a place for 4 ppl to stay comfortably. Our suite had two bedrooms, a living room and kitchen with daily housekeeping services if needed, which you can’t get with a vacation rental. It was clean, tidy and well maintained. Front office staff were friendly and attentive. Housekeeping staff, when requested, were there within minutes to help take our trash and provide fresh clean towels. Breakfast was a good variety of hot foods, cereal, pastries and juices (hot coffee and cocoa too). We only had breakfast once bc we had to be on base before 6am for the two days of graduation.

Property was clean and staff was excellent. Manager (Naisha Davis) is very professional and awesome!

Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely recommend Staybridge Suites San Antonio Lackland to anyone looking for exceptional service, comfort, and a welcoming environment. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

I overall enjoyed the overall ambience of the hotel. What brought the stars down was the cleanliness of the bathrooms. There was hair in the shower, and the toilet was disgusting. I did address this with the front desk and they assured me i would receive points, I’m not sure if I’ve received them as of yet.
