Reviews
The hotel is generally well-maintained with friendly and helpful staff. It is close to the Riverwalk, making it a convenient location for families. However, there are issues with housekeeping not cleaning rooms daily unless requested, and parking is not included, costing an additional $28 a day.

The property was good and clean. What I didn’t like was the limited parking space and that the toilets flushed really loud!

It’s a great hotel and great service. The room doors slam all day, especially at night the noise it’s very loud. I woke up a few time freaking out after other doors slammed in the middle of the night.

Honestly nothing They have not garbage cans no where outside. Breakfast extremely poor for that big name...no Juice ,no pancake, no fruit..no tea filter. No ice mashine available for the guests. Since I drove from New York down to New Orleans that's was the most not worth the money hotel.Definitely never again big disappointment.

Really liked the room, everything was walking distance from the property. We didn’t get to eat the breakfast cause we went out both nights and slept in but we will definitely be back.
- 3/5
The property is okay particularly in respect of proximity to the airport , but i hope there could be more varieties for the breakfast.

Actually loved it Not enough Parking
- 5/5
Extremely friendly staff. Bed was so comfortable
- 3.5/5
The place is comfortable. When i made check in, the recepcionist never mention schedule breakfast 6am - 9am, It’s very uncomfortable or off-putting to arrive to eat and be told they’re already closed at 9:10 AM.

Distance from riverwalk, breakfast, quiet, nice staff, polite, helpful Parking was full, missing fruit at breakfast
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
Staff was great and helpful. Bilingual desk person was a plus.
- 5/5
I really like the rooms and cleanings in the room. Everything was close by to walk and the breakfast. We didn’t get to use the pool because we had to leave. Clerk very friendly. I did not like the fact that we had to pay for parking. One thing we did not expect is that the box of Kleenex has water. Is low price but went up because parking.
- 5/5
Loved this place and how friendly everyone was.
- 5/5
Everything was very good
- 3/5
Parking was full so we had to park across the street. Breakfast was good

Parking was great. My family enjoyed the stay.
- 1/5
When we arrived there was a $35
- 4/5
Lo unico malo de este hotel es el parking que tienes que pagar 38 dlls la noche ..Lo de mas esta bien
- 3/5
Hotel was pretty good and very clean the only downside is the parking you have to stay there when you check in if not you will not get a spot only across the street on the overflow parking lot
- 5/5
The room was great! It was a little warm like the ac couldn't keep up with the heat outside, but overall, I would highly recommend!
- 2.5/5
walking distance to river walk Dirty old, smelled wird
- 4/5
It is close enough to the RiverWalk to walk to.
- 3/5
Not the cleanest and breakfast was chaotic!
- 1.5/5
Front desk girls were the best part of the experience Everything the moment we got into parking lot, dirty and cluttered. Walked into building had a stench of paint, mold and mildew. As you walked in further it got worse. Air Conditioning was subpar, elevators were like saunas. First room was on 4th floor and it was humid the moment you step out of elevator. Walked into the room and was warm, waited a while for room to cool down and never did. The last straw was when my son pulled out his trundle bed to find a massive dirty footprint on his sheets. Went down to ask to switch rooms, next room was on 2nd floor seemed a bit better when stepping off elevator. Room stayed cooler but our refrigerator wouldn't cool. Had to go back down for more towels and toilet paper for our room. Never again will we stay at this location or any other Marriott suites.
- 5/5
Very convenient to the river walk. Clean, spacious suites. The parking is very limited in the hotel lot & the fee they charged for parking was different than the arrival documentation said. I signed for $28 per day & was charged $37.88 per day.
- 4/5
My only complaint was the parking. Upon check in you’re slapped with a $35 parking fee ( plus tax) for a tiny parking lot. The overflow parking is across the street at the end of a public parking lot. Not a fan of hotels that don’t disclose this extra fee at booking
- 5/5
Had a great stay when I arrived and checked in the $35 a day parking fee was unexpected but obviously paid it they also charge another $5 per day for cleaning the room parking lot is very small so you’ll have to park across the street still
- 5/5
Great stay, staff was friendly and everything worked and was clean!
- 5/5
And hotel is super clean. Staff was wonderful in locating my granddaughter’s watch we thought we would have to leave behind. Super helpful and great staff. Nice pool amd to top it off, a complimentary breakfast.
- 5/5
Absolutely a great stay. Very clean. Staff was extremely helpful when we checked out and left when I discovered I left my purse in the room. Will definitely stay again.
- 3/5
The stay would have been an enjoyable one, but the air conditioning was set at 74* and supposedly would cool once the motion sensor detected movement. The room never cooled and when asked about it we were reassured it would work. That is the only complaint was not being able to sleep comfortably due to the room being too warm.
- 2/5
While I was waiting, I noticed someone had left their bed sheets on the front desk with a note on them (since no one was AT the desk), and I quote: "Can we please get a new sheet. This one has a blood looking stain on it. Also a pillow and blanket. Room X." I paid for the room on Expedia. When checking out, I noticed they were trying to charge my card AGAIN for the room. Luckily I spotted it, and the manager removed the charge. Also, for some reason it took 5-10 minutes to get hot water in the shower and sink. Apparently the water heater is a LONG way from the room. Never staying here again.
- 5/5
It was in a very convenient location. We literally walked to the Riverwalk in about 7 minutes.
- 1/5
There was no body wash in the shower. The container was empty and it took almost 5 minutes to get hot water this morning. In the shower. The toilet seat was loose and had to be tightened before we could use it.
- 1/5
The management, not so much. So we checked in and the next morning we woke up with bites all over us in spots you don't want bites. I immediately told the front desk who said they would let their manager know. We got our things and left (were supposed to stay another night). The manager said he would have the room inspected and let me know so they could possibly provide a refund. After 4 phone calls, I still have not heard from him. Frustrating and disgusting.
- 3/5
The maid walked into our room while we were undressing. Accidents happen but I have never had that happen before. I thought we locked the door but I guess my spouse accidentally unlocked it. I’m not sure. In my book, walking into a guest hotel room without knocking is unacceptable. The ceiling in the bathroom had mold. Also, there were way too many people there to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. I’ll pay a little bit more than hotel room next time.
- 5/5
The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again in the future.
- 5/5
Great job guys! Totally enjoyed our stay!
- 3/5
Hotel need upgrades especially being right by the Riverwalk! The showers had permanent stains and it seemed like it could be cleaned better. I’ve stayed at better Springhills before and this was on the low end of them. Staff was nice and helpful!
- 4/5
Loved the location of the hotel and the staff was very awesome! Breakfast was a let down. No waffles, no butter, watery eggs, but the coffee was on point. I traveled with my mom, daughter, and 2 grandkids and the room was fantastic, loved the trundle bed and it was perfect for my grandbabies.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean. Two blocks away from the river.
- 5/5
We stayed 2 days and our didn’t get cleaned no clean towels our trash didn’t get taken out also wasn’t told I would get charged $75 for parking
- 4/5
Very satisfied with the customer service except for the leaking water under the AC which caused wet carpet and uncomfortable smell. Overall everything is good.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, great breakfast, and very nice pool!
- 5/5
.
- 3/5
Overall good facility with general amenities. The room bathroom had design shortcomings such as lack of exhaust, sink faucet was hardened and difficult to use. Onsite parking was very limited and would quickly get full. Overflow parking lot was also a shared facility with other nearby businesses so some spots were restricted from use.
- 3/5
Was close to riverwalk, issues with
- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff was super friendly and the location is convenient
- 3/5
Not enough parking, they have an overflow parking lot but it’s across the street. Very dangerous when traveling with small kids since the hotel is on a curb and you have to cross the street for the overflow parking. Also rooms are not being kept up on maintenance. Our room had broken toilet paper holder and mini fridge area was very bad finished. Metal piece in window blind was also broken. In Our room the ac unit was leaking to where the carpet was soaked wet. Breakfast was okay. For sure you get what you paid for.
- 4/5
very close to riverwalk and staff very helpful. Breakfast needs improvement.
- 4/5
I loved everything. It’s just the parking was kind of pricey.
- 5/5
Staff was super nice and helpful!
- 5/5
Them rooms clean, but the stairs to go down they had a a lot of trash bags and it smell horrible, the breakfast was good the pool a little small but we had fun in it everything was close by we just walk everywhere Alamo, river walk the tower
- 4/5
Parking fee should be mentioned when booking. $35 is pricey.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 3/5
Staff was wonderful, but don't speak much English. Breakfast was ok, rooms were very clean overall everything was great.
- 3/5
The staff doesnt answer the phones, so good luck getting any extra pillows or towels. We called twice and spoke to the front desk 3 times since we had a total of 4 people and only 3 towels. Breakfast was okay. Typical powdered eggs, but the "omelet" version was weird and stuffed with artificial cheese. Hallways are hot so hurry and escape to your room. There's also very limited parking, so they encourage you to park across the street in another lot.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
A word of advice, limited parking lot and you have to pay to park...and the overflow parking across the street is a dangerous trek because the traffic comes around blind turns and often fast! Had a scare with our kids crossing 🚸 😟 Other than that...it's a bargain...hence we stayed 3 different nights in one week.
- 4/5
It was clean. Only issues was paper holder in bathroom was coming off the wall and one tv in one of the sleeping areas was not working. Location was good about 20 minutes from airport and Lackland.
- 3/5
Location is great! We were able to walk to the Riverwalk easily with kids. Downside was 1) There was a funky/questionable smell in our room but turns out the trash was not taken out before we arrived; 2) the a/c unit was leaking so bad, the carpet was all wet when I woke the next morning; and 3) the mini fridge was not working well. Stayed only one night and didn't tell the staff because I woke up late.
- 3/5
El hotel es cierto que está bastante bien ubicado, pero se ve que ha tenido mejores épocas, el desayuno es de una pobreza tal que da ganas de irse a desayunar a otro lado Y la foto del bar es falsa, está cerrado desde antes de la pandemia
- 4/5
No coffee 830am Breakfast soggy. If that improves then would be 4Stars
- 2/5
Very attentive and welcoming staff. Breakfast low quality. Entire hotel is quite dated and really needs a refresh. AC super loud and bathroom fan sounded like a tractor.
- 5/5
Nice place. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was decent - eggs, sausages, etc. Be advised that parking is across the street and costs $35. Close to Riverwalk.
- 1/5
The mattress had pee stains, the sink clogged up and nearly overflowed. Was reported to management and they did not change our rooms nor come in and fix the issue. The room had a horrible smell and my kids started breaking out with hives… hotel needs to be shutdown and have the city inspectors check them out. Breakfast was soggy. The oatmeal was more like water. They ran out of milk both days and said to use the half and half for cereal!
- 2/5
Definitely don’t recommend
- 5/5
short walk to riverwalk
- 5/5
Great place, great stay.
- 3/5
The staff was friendly and very helpful. They serve a great breakfast for guests. The parking was small, but there is an overflow lot across the street.
- 5/5
Rooms were clean , check in process was simple and the location was perfect.
- 3/5
Breakfast was worthless, but at least there's a mcdonalds nearby. The staff was not helpful when they ran out of certain foods halfway through.
- 1/5
This hotel was nothing like the pictures. The hallway was very dark and smelled of fresh paint. The couch in the room was dirty and the room had minimal lightning. DID NOT STAY!!!
- 3/5
Parking: Parking on site is VERY limited (approx 50) and was full by 4pm. The off site did have around another 100+ however the price is the same for both $35 plus $3 tax =$38 per day. Room: it was pretty spacious and my 9yr old loved the separate living room with extra TV. There was no trashcan in the restroom so t.p. used needed to be flushed down a really powerful flushing system. So powerful that everytime a neighbor flushed you can hear it. The walls are pretty thin so could hear constant running down the halls and screaming kids next door. Breakfast: Typical continental breakfast (eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffle maker, oatmeal, muffins). They did run out of bread & napkins which were not refilled and the staff was a bit rude/pushy when breakfast time over. I mean down to the second once 930am, lights off and everybody out! I would have rather them say 5 minutes left to pack and take everything before we throw it. Lol OVERALL: Great location & price. Nothing fancy but good enough for a 1 night mini getaway.
- 4/5
Ou stay here was good. The staff was friendly. The breakfast wasn’t that great. Only complaint about our room was the shower had some mildew in it. Otherwise great place to stay. Very close to the river walk.
- 5/5
Everything was great. The only thing I do wish to recommend is adding outlet plugs near the bed
- 5/5
Overall, a great atmosphere and time well spent there.
- 5/5
Property, staff and food was great
- 4/5
The room very comfortable.
- 4/5
The staff was helpful and very service-oriented, which is the driving force behind any business's sustainability. I didn't like that the fans in the common area and walkway were consistently buzzing throughout our entire stay. A word of wisdom: every problem has a solution, but the service you provide should never be at the expense of your consumer.
- 5/5
Sarah at the front desk is amazing and great at her job! Also was happy to see oat milk on the breakfast bar.
- 4/5
Everything was good at first but someone had vomited in the hallway on my floor, my husband made the front desk aware but Noone came to clean it. Looks like he just put a wet floor sign up without actually mopping or cleaning the carpet. The room was clean and affordable, breakfast was hot with many different things to select from. The outdoor pool looks nice.
- 5/5
Desk personnel were amazing and helpful
- 3/5
Great location, bed really stiff and breakfast ran out milk for cereal and coffee
- 5/5
Room was clean and excellent, breakfast is your ordinary breakfast and gets packed real quick. Parking you do have to pay but honestly wasn’t bad since we were walking distance to the river walk. Went there for dinner on Saturday and Sunday night and walked straight to our hotel after. As well as a great walking distance from the Alamo and Lego land.
- 3/5
The breakfast could have been better. No one came out to fill up containers for creamer. Coffee wasn’t available throughout the day. Parking was expensive, I think they should have charge one fee for parking instead of two separate charges for each day.
- 3/5
It was a good location if you wanted to be by the Riverwalk.
- 3/5
They charge $35 per day you have to post more details about cost or charge parking lot it’s crazy .. your advertising says parking available..
- 3/5
Not a bad experience or anything negative to say about the facility it was ok and affordable.
- 5/5
The room was clean, the staff was incredibly nice amd hospitable. I would absolutely still there again! Thank you for a pleasant experience.
- 2/5
No coffee available after 5pm, charging 40 dlls per parking your car is expensive
- 5/5
Breakfast was good. We didn't use the parking.
- 5/5
Lots of breakfast choices and large room. Limited parking out front of building but has an overflow across the street
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Just needs more variety on the breakfast and add more towels to the rooms
- 5/5
Excellent Hotel
- 5/5
Easy parking, convenient to Riverwalk. Room spacious and had all we needed.
- 3/5
The staff were great and the breakfast was decent. My room had a dirty toilet when I arrived. It was cleaned the next day. The bathtub faucet dripped and the drain was clogged so every shower turned into an ankle bath. Beds were clean and comfy.
- 5/5
The parking which was supposed to be to be an amenity turned out to be a true headache the lot was small i paid for parking and was not able to get a park once I moved my car! So why am I paying and told to park down the street at another lot!
- 4/5
The beds and pillows were not great. Woke up stiff every morning. The trundle bed under the couch was so terrible. My 20 year old daughter said she feel all the springs. She ended up just sleeping on the couch. The walk to the River Walk nearby was only a five minute walk.
- 3/5
The online photos hyped up the place more than it was . The bar is not there and breakfast was average but photos looked better online . Pretty clean beds and working ac . Most staff were so welcoming
- 5/5
Perfect
- 4/5
The breakfast schedule is too short (until 9am), menu was fine though. Parking cost is high, considering you are there for the night most of the time while doing tourism.
- 5/5
👌
- 3/5
It was, ok? Very basic. Also take into consideration you have to pay to park in the hotel parking lot, which ive never heard of in my life. Staff was great. Beds and pillows not so much. Could definitely use an upgrade.
- 4/5
Room was good. Breakfast buffet could have been a lot better. Ended up eating out.
- 4/5
Clean rooms! Staff very friendly and helpful! Parking price was out of line but besides that, it was a very good stay!!
