We had to pay for a parking pass (about $5) which we didn't realize before going. The room was fine--just needed some updating (you could tell that the quality was lessening from time). The lobby and hallways smelled like marajuana. The fenced in outdoor pool is right by the freeway off ramp which was concerning for us with small children, and we would have liked it to be a LITTLE more private. The staff was helpful and courteous.

Saw Manager or owner handling bagels with his bare hands. Was a lotion instead of conditioner in the shower.. hotel property was not very clean. Charged for parking and the excuse was “security” onsite. Never saw security!

The breakfast was subpar, and they also charge an additional fee for parking. While the parking fee is small, it is still an extra cost that should be considered. I come to San Antonio often and have stayed at many different hotels in the area. Unfortunately, this is not one I would choose to stay at again. There are too many other hotels at the same price point that offer a much better overall value.

Staff was polite when I made it there the water was turn off in the whole hotel we had to leave and go use the rest room some where else and the water stayed off for 4 hours no visible cameras the hotel carpet was stained it also had a bad odor throughout the hotel and my cover had blood spots on it the worst hotel experience I ever had

Great stay if you are bringing your dog with you. I’m a Hilton member but spark is always a great choice for my stay.

Great hotel, perfect location close to UTSA

The room was nice and very comfortable, however, the free breakfast was subpar at best, and there were no coffee machines, cups, or anything in the room. The remote needed batteries.

The hotel felt old and unclean in many areas. The carpet had visible wear, tear, and staining. I had to have my tub cleaned due to mildew in a couple of areas. This was nicely cleaned the next day. The ice machine on the third floor was gross. The tray underneath was filled with dirty water—green in color. I opted to go to the first floor to get ice. While returning late one night with my daughter, the first floor section of rooms smelled of pot! I know the smell since my oldest child has drug addiction. I can quickly detect the various smells. Plus—I prefer to stay at hotels that offer some sort of hot breakfast. Oh—I also thought it was interesting to have to pay daily parking when there is nothing that matches the quality of the hotel.

Hallways a little worn

Room was clean and very spacious, the only thing wrong was no trash cans in the room.

Overall the room was good. My issue is this establishment charging $5 for parking and $100 for incidental and advising us after the fact after we booked. That will make me look elsewhere for the next time.

I wish I got the gentleman’s name but he checked us in and was so helpful. Always made sure I had everything I need. The only issue I had was the smell which I know it’s nothing they can do when it’s the guest that bring this recreational stuff in. Still and enjoyable stay!

Room was decently clean/maintained. Only thing is they need a flooring update. Carpet was quite gross, had a weird feeling and smell. Hard floors would go a long way.

In our room we saw stains in our wall and we also noticed what appeared to be brown stains in out bedsheets and the bathroom towels some also had stains

For breakfast I suggest have more food and options. Further more in regard to the room, we experience issues with the compote and maintenance was not available.

Only giving it a 2 because car break ins were horrible. We woke up the next morning to about 8 car break ins. Thank god wasn’t ours. But there was glass everywhere. Staff was friendly. Clean rooms.

Nice, safe affordable and clean place for an easy night’s rest.

I reserved for 5 days and complained that the toilet seat was soooo loose it was hard to sit on. The beds were never changed. And one of the pillows were taken by housekeeping and I kept asking for it back but they never brought it! I brought my own pillow from home and they thought it was theirs! I had asked them for 3 days! They just kept saying they would get maintenance to fix toilet, and get housekeeping to come but I never saw anyone!

The lobby area was great. They had the bare minimum for breakfast. The breakfast is free though. They had coffee available all day. It was close enough to Seaworld so the location was great. My only complaint was that the hallways had a weird smell. Also if you turned the air conditioner down then there was a musty smell.

I arrived on 07/20 to a half-done door, holes in the shower curtain, and other things. I decided to stay as my kids and I had traveled long and were tired. The bathroom door mentioned was half-way sawed, and there was exposed wood, and my son hurt himself with it. The bathroom was dirty. I woke up 07/21 to roaches on the walls and decided I’d go to the lobby to ask for a refund and cancellation of my next night. The front desk gentleman was nice and issued a refund. There were only bagels and cereal for breakfast. Literally. I went back to the room to gather my stuff and, once downstairs and ready to load up, I walked out to so much commotion in the parking lot because 8+ cars had busted windows. My front passenger-side window was cracked, but the thief was unsuccessful, and per SA PD, since my car was not fully broken into, they basically told me the case would ”die” there, and I’m stuck paying for a window. Mind you, the hotel charges for overnight parking. It was disappointing knowing it was Hilton-related and was such a terrible experience.

The room was clean and really nice but outside the trash cans were overflowing when we got there and when we left.

The only good thing about this property is how close it was to The Cantera Shops, which was out main reason for the visit. The bathroom was dirty, there was a used towel on the sink with hair on it. And the floors did not looked clean. The next morning there were about 3 cars that were broken into. Thank God ours wasn’t. I who’s not recommend, but for the price I guess you what you pay for.

The staff was not very helpful

Booked 2 rooms. One had a view of Six Flags but also heavy construction from early morning to late night. Even clipped cut off power to the building for several hours during the texas heat. No wifi for a full day. Rooms were not well maintained. Tile falling apart in the bathroom, paint peeling on the ceilings, trash cans overflowing, Staff were helpful and cleaning services were nice. Definitely not up to my expectations for even a low-budget Hilton.

Basic hotel close to 6 flags. There were a lot of hairs on the bathroom floor so it had not been cleaned properly after the previoius guests.

Although we didn’t stay at the hotel long it was ok to just sleep for a night. I wouldn’t stay longer than that. Pros: check in was easy. Bed was comfortable and rooms were cold. The hotel is very small so you don’t have to walk a lot. They let us have a late checkout which was very much appreciated. Cons: There’s construction going on literally right next to the hotel. We woke up to the tractor noises and loud banging outside our window around 7am, which isn’t their fault but was pretty annoying. Breakfast was just ok. Not very many choices and coffee was terrible. Hotel itself is pretty old so very outdated. Overall did the job for the night.

My vehicle was stolen and 8 other vehicles were broken into. Management did not help at all and had trouble getting my deposit.

Lo único que haría notar fue la atencion de la recepcionista qué no fue grosera pero su actitud no ofrecía que nos sitieramos bienvenidos al lugar.

Cars were broken into and we didn’t get a notice that morning. We had to figure that out until we actually went outside. The area is not safe at all. Our sink in the bathroom looked as, if it was going to fall down. The bath tube had a few mold spots. Over all for being a branch of Hilton not worth the stay!!

We had a short stay but well worth it. The staff was very friendly and our room was clean, beds very comfortable, plenty of towels and quiet overall. Loved it and would recommend!

The from desk people were ok, when requested an additional blanket their response was “we don’t have anymore” like what? …..on our last day they were about 5-6 broken into and no staff was outside helping the car owners seems like they didn’t care! We were planning on paying for another night but NO THANK YOU. After seen how unsafe was this place we left.

The room was really clean and nice, however going up to our room there was a broken tile in the ceiling of the 1st floor and had a trash can under collecting water. I was also disappointed with the breakfast offered. There wasn't a warm breakfast available.

The room was horribly clean. The staff was nice. Needed a quick room for the night but was really disgusted by the lack of cleanliness. It was given more of a quick clean. It really needs an in depth clean.

The room I stayed in had a weird smell, the bedding smelt like they had already been slept on. The worst thing though was the shower was broken. The water was either only hot or only cold. There was no changing the water temperature. While I know the hotel itself can’t control it, but cars got broken into while staying there.

They charge for parking but yet there was 7 cars broken into at night. Free breakfast includes boiled eggs and bagels. Staff was very helpful throughout our stay with extra towels and blankets. Over all they could use the money they charge guests to park to pay for security services.

Do not stay at this hotel, my car was broken into and so we’re seven others. It was a horrible situation. And I’m glad we’re safe, but I will never stay at this property. Since it was close to La Cantera, I thought it was a safe place, but it was not. I immediately felt it when I got there, but since I had already purchased it through Expedia, I have no choice, but to stay, but if I had known what would happen. I would’ve never stayed. Obviously. Just be advise. It’s not in the best part of town.

It was a great location, and a decent breakfast. You cant beat it for the price.

The stars was higher than other hotels but its older so lower stared hotels were better, newer than this one. Also, you pay for parking but there are signs about losing items to break ins in the parking lot. Our last night 3 trucks were broken into.

First off I was hit with unexpected fees for an incident fee that was going to be refunded to me that was $100 that was going to take 3 to 5 days to go back into my account and then also additionally charged for parking in order to park in their public parking. We were not notified of these fees prior to our visit and I believe that as guests they should have provided that information prior to our stay. We had no ice bucket and no coffee maker and no cups plus the pillows had an odd smell and one of the pillows had mascara from a previous guest, along with strands of hair on the nightstand. I will say that the restrooms were clean, and there was a multitude of towels to use. Unfortunately, our shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were low or empty, and were not replenished prior to our stay. Also, we were placed in the back of the hotel and our view was nothing but mud puddles, and a dirt lot.

Location is right off the highway, was able to see six flags coasters from our window. Someone mentioned in a review thay it was in a bad area but I have no idea what they were talking about, it is not. Room was clean, pool was clean. Breakfast ok if your kids want cereal or a bagel, only reason I gave 4 stars was for the breakfast...maybe atleast add a waffle maker amd some fruit.

Poor services and help from front desk staff. Housekeeping didn't empty trash cans. Beds were not made. Linens were simply left on top of beds. Rooms that were requested were not available at ti.e of check in.

This place is very close to the parks, near very nice shopping and dining. All with in about 10 minute drives. The breakfast is simple, coffee and toast and cereal. Would book again.

What a great hotel! The hotel was clean…our room was clean and the cleaning staff always ensured we had towels and took care of our special request. The breakfast was good and a great way to start each day. The hotel was a great value and we would definitely stay there again.

This was very close to the UTSA campus, which was good for us, since we we're attending orientation. Also the beds were so comfortable I slept all night. I wish the AC continued to run

The location was the most convenient part of our trip - proximity to UTSA. The breakfast was the only part that was slightly disappointing. Hot breakfast, for $100 per night is not an unreasonable expectation.

My room was not cleaned nor beds made. I was assigned a second room. This room was not cleaned nor beds made either. I did not end up staying here.

The location The towels were a yellowish brown color, they were very old. There was a wet towel behind hanging on the bathroom door upon our arrival. The sheets had old stains and the comforter was scratchy. Elevator was old and noisy. The coffee bar was dirty in the morning. No fruit or something semi healthy.

The location and the price through Expedia. The parking fee and lots of walking around noise. We could hear a lot of footsteps.

The bathroom was terrible. Primarily the shower. It was handicap. The shower nozzle faced the curtain which went to about 5 inches off the floor. You couldn't take a shower without the bathroom floor getting soaked.

I liked the location and the free breakfast with 24 hour coffee service. I didn't like that they didn't clean my room.

Linda and Jack were amazing. Made me and our wedding party feel comfortable . Breakfast bar was plenty and fresh. Coffee was very good . Bathtub was stained and not draining. It was not a great experience. Carpets were old and need updated.
