The staff was very helpful and friendly. The building and room were very clean. Everything in the room was nice but not very good quality.

Honestly the pictures fooled me I thought it was a nice hotel from again the pictures. It was dirty, stains on the walls and door even. The hallways are dirty, the elevator was dirty, I felt very icky. I had to check out earlier than expected and find another hotel for the remainder of the trip. They had a counter in the room with some sort of plexiglass and it seemed like food was trapped underneath like why not clean that?! It gave motel. I think it was very smart of them to not have carpet in the rooms because I can only imagine how much worse it would be.

Decent place, showers were luke warm, couldn't shut the TV off?? Had a gadget sitting on top up it? Place a little worn.

The staff was amazing, however the facility needs a deep clean, major painting. One of our shower head was broken, there was mold in the shower and the floors were soo dirty.

Reserved the junior suit with the king bed, came with a couch in the living room setting area that was all sorts of stained with brown/ orange stains. A/C wasn’t cooling room and water pressure in shower was awful. When addressing concerns with front staff they said they would inform a manager and that was it. No one ever offered to send maintenance or anything to the room, just told there were no other rooms available. Spent almost 500 for two nights and no resolution to poor quality of the room. On our way to leave from our stay we ran into the maintenance man at the elevator who was super nice and we explained the issues and he went into the room and right back out and had already fixed the a/c issue before the elevator door closed but it was to late we were already on our way out to check out. We have stayed here a couple of times but this will definitely be the last time we do.

Great room could hardly hear surrounding neighbors. The hotel is very secure and in a great location to walk to things. The hotel smells so good and has a cute game/ movie area in the lobby. It is vallet parking but they make it easy. Also I have stayed at various hotel rooms and this is the only one with working vents and has non carpet rooms.

Hotel is in am older building slightly off the beaten path yet still within steps of river walk. I was able to get on street parking which was free from six in the evening until eight in the morning which is a rare find in San Antonio. The lobby is really cool as is the fourth floor pool. Due to price and parking I would definitely stay here again. The rooms are a little old, but I feel like they give the hotel a lot of love.

The staff was so sweet, especially the valets. Everyone was always available to help. Everything is pretty much walking distance and the price is pretty reasonable too so I think it's a great place to stay if you wanna explore San Antonio.

Do NOT book this hotel based on the pictures. The photos and the actual property are two completely different experiences. Normally, when you walk into a hotel, the front desk and lobby set the tone. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was another story. Behind the front desk was a foliage-style decoration that looked like it had centuries of dust on it. The overall atmosphere gave me a very uncomfortable, sketchy vibe and the environment did not make me feel comfortable or secure, especially once I got to my room. And the elevator doors? Disgusting. The entire hotel is extremely dated and needs renovations.Unfortunately, the shade covering that beautiful window was shredded on both ends. The room itself appeared to be fairly clean, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom was probably the worst part. There was rust in the tub, holes in the walls where towel racks apparently used to be, and the bathroom vent was filthy and partially hanging off the wall. The ceiling tiles also appeared to have been slightly cut or disturbed. There were simply too many negatives to overlook. Here are the positives. The rooms are huge, the large windows are nice. Lettie, the bartender, was exceptional. She makes the BEST Mexican Candy Shot! It tasted like a watermelon Jolly Rancher.James from maintenance was also extremely nice, helpful, professional…and handsome. Quite a walk to the River Walk and nearby eateries. My rating: Hotel/property: 2 out of 10 Staff: 10 out of 10.

$42 hidden fee for parking

We Brooke de this hotel last minute, it was a really great stay it was clean and well maintianed despite the age of the building. Staff were súper friendly. The bar and dinner were really convenient since they were Connected to the hotel. The location is perfect since its right on the River walk!

Parking was $40 plus tax per day, which seemed expensive. The disappointment during our stay came when we wanted to use the pool. The walls of the pool were filthy and the water was murky and smelled horrible. Due to the hot weather, a pool was of the upmost importance. We will definitely choose another hotel for future visits.

Wonderful stay

Just a nice place to stay, close to the Riverwalk. The staff and all the workers where really great and always pleasant.

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly. Valet parking used texting to retrieve your vehicle. Also, hotel would message you reminding of you of room cleaning policy ( you have to put up sign on door before 9am to have room cleaned. Had a nice pool in centre court of hotel. Coffee shop and restaurant were also available. Limited menu in restaurant but food was good.

I also feel that the photos are somewhat misleading, as the actual room did not meet the expectations they created. Based on my experience, the property did not feel consistent with the four-star rating shown on Expedia. Considering the price, I expected a much higher level of cleanliness, quality, and overall presentation. For a similar rate, I would personally choose the Omni in the future, as I feel it offers better value and accommodations for the price.

We were unaware that if you purchase multiple nights but don't check in the first night, they cancel the rest of your stay. So obviously our bad, I'm sure it was in the fine print somewhere. But when we got to the desk to learn this the front desk ladies were simply just rude about it. No sympathy whatsoever, just acting like we were dumb for not knowing that's what happened. So then we get to the room, definitely not what pictures look like online. Just seemed dinghy and was not nice at all. We then laid down to take a quick nap and all of the sudden heard 3 loud knocks then someone opened the door immediately after, no time to answer. We said "ummmmm?" And they said oh sorry we didn't know anyone was in here, we need to check the vents. Then we later decided to go to the pool, which did not look ANYTHING like the photos, the water was so murky you could only see the top step and top rung of ladder. No towels anywhere to be found. Had to go into the freezing lobby wet to ask for some. Overall just not worth any of the money we spent. They were not welcoming, not understanding, completely violated our privacy, and the only nice part of the place is the lobby. Would not recommend.

Everything was good

Great location! It was easy to get around the area. The hallways and elevators needed some cleaning. Ice machine is broken and leaking.

Front desk staff was great! We realized towards the evening we forgot a couple toiletries, it took one phone call to the front desk and upon our arrival they had everything we needed upfront waiting for us without hesitation. Check in and valet was quick and efficient. Room was neat and clean. 5 out of 5 stars!

The swimming pool was murky, and very dirty. We wound up not even getting in. Chairs were askew, unorganized, some with cushions pulled off on the ground. There was no place to buy last minute items like ibuprofen or snacks. They directed me to a CVS that was half mile away for deodorant. The bar does not open until 4pm. In the morning the housekeeper knocked at 10:59am and we were still getting our things packed up. Only minutes later, the front desk called and said it was their policy to charge $25 for every half hour we are past 11am. This was not disclosed at check in or any other time. When I mentioned this, she just repeated it was their policy. The hotel was NOT busy or anything and I have not run into this before. I have no idea how this hotel got a four star rating.

Spacious room, lots of clothing space (closet and bureau), good daily housekeeping, excellent location near river walk, Alamo and also express bus to/from SAT (airport). Hotel a bit shabby; rooms and corridors need refurbishing. Inner 4th floor rooms face pool deck and the only privacy is by closing the floor-to-ceiling shade, thereby depriving room of any daylight. Not good. Also, these rooms are subject to pool noise (quiet hours begin at 10PM) and all-night mechanical sounds (pool pumps or A/C units or ?). Also: desk chair was so extremely low (vs. the desk) that one cannot sit and work at the desk.

Overall enjoyed our stay the shared spaces on the property are very well maintained. Unfortunately, the individual rooms do not seem to be maintained or cleaned as well as the lobby and shared areas. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient and it has great views of the city as well as easy access to restaurants, coffee shops, stores, etc.

The room was clean with a small coffee maker and refrigerator working very good. No Breakfast and No bar, they have a small restaurant next to them, same building but not very good, the waitress is too slow and she is not recommending some kind of breakfast. When I paid her in cash she didn’t give my change back. It make mad, I was going to give her a tip, but since she did that I did no give her more.

Things were great. I really enjoyed my stay. Housekeeping didn't leave enough small towels for a double room booked for 2 people. Also the TV remote didnt work for anything but the power and volume.

It was only ok, wouldn't pay more than 100.

Great place to stay near the river walk!

My family and I arrived on the first day to be put in a room that had not been cleaned. I took a picture and showed front desk. Front desk staff was very embarrassed. We were put in another room where the window was banging, lamp light was not working, blind was stuck, linen were dirty (pillow case and sheet). I had to call maintenance to fix the issues that could be fixed. We were in bed when we had a knock on the door 20 minutes after having called. Second day I put the hanger which said to clean room. We arrived to see that only 1 bed had been made, and the other looked messy and they just stacked up the pillow cases. Final day I fell and I called to see if I could be given time to rest. They only gave me 30 minutes after having fallen which could have been accomodated but then I was told that they would have to call housekeeping. I showed them at front office that my mom had picked up the room prior to turning it in so I showed them that they had minimal things to do like pick up trash which were already in bags and towels which were placed all together.

We love the balcony with a beautiful view.

Great stay. In the middle of the River walk and was very convenient.

The room air didn’t get cold just cool enough not to sweat. The shower pressure felt like a sprinkle. It was hair on the bathroom floor. The refrigerator wasn’t cold. However the staff were very friendly and very nice. The pictures on the website does not look like the real pictures. The hallways had chipped paint. The pool is very small.

Staff was really nice and welcoming. Rooms need to upgrade. Everything was old and falling apart. The tiles are so dirty. I was definitely bamboozled based on the pics. I expected for it to be much nicer. I also checked out a day early and still got charged for the second night valet!

We were greeted by the front desk lady very helpful and quickly checked us in no problem. As we went up to our room the hallways to get to the room it smelled bad like mold and the carpet was not vaccumed . We went into our room it seemed clean but once again the smell was there which made it feel like it was not clean overall. The floors needed to be swept.the toilet seat was loose. When we requested toilet paper to be sent to our room , it was never sent up. So we had to call once again which finally came to our room 20 minutes later . The pool was not clean !!! There was green algae on the inside walls . Pictures can be deceiving , it’s not how it looks in pictures posted . Would not recommend staying here

A bit rough inside the rooms.

The property was nice. The staff was great. I think it’s a beautifully remodeled holder hotel had a pretty nice view. My biggest complaint is that the water wasn’t “hotel hot.” but overall me and my family had a great time and the location was awesome.

Excellent service! Staff was very attentive! However, the rooms and amenities need to be upgraded. Broken blinds, dilapidated furniture and rooms, broken tub faucet, noisy neighbors and murky pool all kept me from giving 5 stars.

Stayed 2 nights. First night in showering I see a dirty rag from the previous guest. The 2nd night I shower and the shower flooded the room. I tell the front desk, they give us keycards to another room, but it’s already 2 am and we check out at 11am. No point just give us towels. After leaving I now have Lowe tire pressure likely to a puncture in my tire. Will not be staying again.

The only pro about this hotel is the location. Everything else well is OKAY, staff depending who is at the desk you get someone very dry or someone friendly so watch out for those employees.

I was disappointed in the quality of a 4 star hotel. My family and I stayed in a room in which the bathroom was terrible. The tub was dirty and extremely slow to drain. Cleanliness was poor and our biggest issue.

Do not stay here!! The property is in terrible condition, does not look like the pictures. Our kids were staying with us and I did not feel safe. We got there almost close to midnight so we only stayed the night and immediately booked a different hotel. I was very disappointed as the pictures were misleading.

We recently stayed in the presidential suite over the weekend. While the location was fantastic, within walking distance of all major points in the downtown area, I wanted to share some feedback about our experience. The Jacuzzi tub was nice, but it was just a standard tub with water and not a true Jacuzzi. Additionally, we encountered some issues with the room. The blinds didn't function properly, and we found the room to be unclean, including two roaches in the closet. On a positive note, the hotel lobby and restaurant were great, and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable. Thank you for your attention to these matters. I hope they can be addressed for future guests..

This hotel is Crack Alley Row. Do not be fooled by the lobby. The walls are scrapped up in the hallways, rugs in the hall looked like they haven’t been vacuumed in weeks, floors was filthy, shower head was disgusting, ceiling tiles were water damaged, linen had an hair on it, linen was soiled, and furniture was soiled. I left to get dinner to have them move me to another room and returned it was still unlivable!!

Everything was ok till my wife went the the bathroom and the toilet rocked like you were on a roller coaster

However, there are still a few things that need attention. In our room, the window blind didn’t work because it was missing the chain to raise and lower it. Also, the metal curtain rod above the window was loose and almost fell on us. The pool also needed maintenance. The water was green and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in several days. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential because of its great location, but it still needs some renovations and better maintenance to provide a better guest experience.

I love the historic building and access to everything downtown. I stay here often and it's always something disappointing. 😥😮‍💨 the last time I stayed the tub didn't drain and after a shower you would literally stand in a ft of water. This time as I was ready to shower there was no curtain and no one to help get me a shower curtain. As cleaning staff doesn't come in till 8. Made me late for my morning meetings.

The lobby of the hotel is amazing. The plant life, windows and textures made it feel high end. There is always a movie playing in the lounge by the lobby. Which is good if you have kids or family, and you need extra space to stretch out for a bit. There is ice cold fresh water waiting by the door. Which is a nice touch that welcomes you when you come in fr the heat. We chose city view from our room. We had a nice view of the old courthouse. The black out roman shade kept street light to a minimum. The only two drawbacks we had are the noise level and room. The walls are paper thin. We could here normal conversation from outside on the 5th floor. As well as footsteps from the surrounding rooms. Door closures sounded like door slams. Chairs being moved echoed. Some guests kept a later schedule than we did, so the noise level at night kept us up. The room was mediocre. For the quality and size of the lobby it seemed like a room from any other lower end hotel brand. It was clean and smelled AMAZING but was pretty standard.

The bar tenders downstairs were a whole vibe! They def made our 4th fun.
