When we got into the room the floor was dirty and riddled with screws and bolts, I asked if someone could clean it and they said no but gave me a broom, no water pressure in the shower and had a strong smell of paint and other chemicals which caused me to have a migraine for the entire stay. Paint was splattered on the bed spread, fridge didn't work, and the front desk was not very helpful. The only reason we stayed was because we drove 18 hours to San Antonio and by the time we got to the hotel we were exhausted and didn't feel safe driving further. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

Room was very clean. Staff was very helpful very friendly. I like the juice and coffee bar area. I like that there’s snacks and drinks we can get throughout the day and night. Love the fact that there’s a washer and dryer to be able to be used for only a dollar each so that’s convenient. I like that the maid service came and brought extra towels for me when I requested them they came right away. I like the fact that I needed something done inside the room and somebody came right away to fix it. I like that there’s stuff we can talk to and pay and discuss things with them all day and night. I like the fact that there’s elevators and able to get to and from my room very quickly overall very nice place to stay. I would stay here again and again.

Our room was half ass cleaned. There was dirt in the corners and overall didn’t seem like it was cleaned at all. Our bath towels were dirty with makeup. You get what you get for a motel that offers people to live on the property permanently.

The bed was soft and provided a good night’s sleep after travel, and well-maintained, making the stay relaxing. Slight improvement in room lighting could make the space even better.

The location was very convenient with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. There was nothing major to dislike during our stay. Everything met our expectations and worked well for a short, comfortable visit.

The creepy tweekers that were walking around made us feel unsafe. The rooms were not that clean as far as stained sheets goes.

My linens were filthy. I had to go buy my own sheets, blankets, and pillowcases. The ones on the bed did not seem to have been washed, and my room door didn't lock. I had to ask for another room. I would never go there again.

Everything was horrible, the worst experience i have ever had. Hall smelled of Marijuana, rooms were just very poorly cleaned and kept overall. Many trucks were broken into over night

Shower was broken. Changed rooms. In new room, A/C was broken. Went back to initial room. Couldn’t get refund.

The room did not have a lamp. The TV wasn't working and maintenance had to come and connect a wire to fix it. The towels were grey not white.

Cheap hotel, expect what you paid for. Service was fine but sheets were stained and it felt like being a detention officer again seeing concrete walls. Again staff are friendly but it still wasmt the most enjoyable stay. No wifi either.

The property was very nasty and dirty. It was moldy in restroom. Sheets, blankets, and lamp shades were stained. I will not be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

First room was dirty, i pushed the door and it opened with out using the key card, the second room the door did not lock from the inside, too many characters hanging around, wished i had my gun with me.

This hotel is great, the staff are really nice and they have clean rooms also my dog is free and it’s only a $30 dollar deposit for the room. They also have a free juice bar in the lobby.

My stay was good since I only stayed one night. The hotel would benefit greatly from some standard maintenance. If the rugs were cleaned and the interior painted it would highly improve its appeal. My bed was comfortable and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

I reserved a “superior” king room. There was absolutely nothing superior about it. I was unaware there was construction going on in the hotel. The entire time I was there all I heard was drilling through the walls. It was so bad I ended up leaving after 3 hours and staying with relatives on their couch, which was more peaceful than this hotel.

The microwave was broken, the bathrooms were dirty, there were burnt marked on the clean sheets. There was a suspicious bag I. The smoke detector. The ceiling outside the room was exposed. I could see the upper working of the building.

This room was listed as "Superior Room, 1 King Bed, Accessible, Non Smoking." The room we were given had a bed, small fridge, tv and microwave. There was no table or chair, just the bed. There were no working lights in the bedroom. Only in the entry and bath. We had trouble getting the entry lights on as two light switches worked the same light. The bed, however, seemed comfortable. We were then given a second room. Of the two bedside lights only one had a light bulb. There was a table and chair, but the seat of the chair was very torn up. The room must not have been used in a while as it was dirty - surfaces covered with dust. This rooms bed was very uncomfortable. It creaked when you sat on it. The motel was older and not well maintained. There were places on the wall that had been patched, but not repainted. I felt the price was very reasonable, but I'd never been asked to provide a $30 security deposit. As I rarely travel, this may have been a new requirement everywhere. I am somewhat handicapped and they did provide excellent parking accommodations next to the front door. The motel did provide us a place to sleep at a reasonable cost, but not the quality I felt was advertised.

The whole hotel smelled like cigarettes and was very dirty.

The hotel was being renovated, it was the worst place ever. Checking in as a solo female, the front desk put me in a room at the very end of the hallway around a corner, the very last room down the hallway. The toilet was full of poop, literally. When I went to call the front desk, the phone was not working. When I pulled the side table to check the phone cord, I saw there was not even a telephone port to plug into. The room looked like it could be used for human trafficking since there was no phone, no way of communicating and the very last room down a long dark hallway. The floor was stained from the outside of the elevator all the way down the hallway. It was absolutely disgusting- the worst place for anyone to go to.

Room was dirty. My wife steped.on something near bed with her feet. Turned out to be a.popcorn kernel. That wasnt the worst of it. Gross hair an stuff (lots) came with it. The bell hop luggage rack had droken wheels on both rigs they had. Noisy next to highway. We didnt wnjoy our stay.

AC not working, restrooms dirty ,bed mattress worn out,not worth it

The first room we were given was just dirty and once we removed bed sheets trash came out to include a lighter. We went to front desk to ask for a different room which they did give us. Second room was even worse, bandaids and blood spots on made beds. Bandaids on floor. Sheets were stained. Floors were dirty with what looked like red soda or even blood for all know. They supposedly refunded me but now I have to go through hotels.com whom portrays themselves as offering great services.

For the Price you can't beat it . Nothing fancy . Staff always friendly and helpful

Always enjoy staying at a Red Roof Inn. Great service, beds very comfortable, and it’s not noisy or loud outside the rooms.

We’re in the process of moving and had to stay in a hotel, close to my job. This was the cheapest one. The pictures looked great, when we got in, not so much. The floors were sticky, you could hear us walk. I made sure my kids kept their shoes on. There were pubes on the toilet, the pillows and comforters had an extreme amount of stains on them to the point I went and got my own linens. The Tv didnt work and my card stopped working in the middle of us leaving as I had to get to work. My door barely closed and I had to use extreme force to get it to lock. Place seemed dirty and unsafe!

It was the worst experience we ever had we rented for two days ,on the second day they ranted my room out when we were out, they took our things to storage with bugs with out telling me about anything they tried to give me another room but it was bad and uncleaned be careful this happened 7/20/24 I’ll give this hotel a -10000 out of 5

I stayed there awhile and got put in a room with no tv for a week when I said something I got told to leave n they tried saying it was for the roaches they already had there

Intially checked in and went to my room. The door was missing a bolt lock. Smelled like Marijuana, killed a small roach upon entry. The bathroom looked like it wqs under construction. The tub was stained. I asled for another room. Intially they said they were booked. Eventually after enough complaining they conviently found a room, but i was told it had no TV. It was on the 2nd floor and it smelled like a dog kennel farm.

Women woke me up at 9am to ask me if I was staying buy was pounding the door

Please read the reviews. I obviously didnt. The pictures are not as authentic as what the property is. The first floor outside rooms are like an apartment complex. The second floor where our room was, hallway was hot at 3pm in the afternoon. Carpet was stained dirty smelly and when we got to our room it smelled as if they just sprayed pesticide spray, ac barely blew on high, the bed was not a Queen size was more like a full size so when inwent to complain the guy at the front deak replied with its their queen size. So i asked to be switched to another room and he gave me the room two doors down. Which was not any better smelled like weed, mind you the guy at the front desk had reiterated NO SMOKING which the whole building amelled like from the moment you walked in.

Service was good, parking was good as well. Now, rooms were horrible. Curtains were broken, hanging on by one or two rods. Room had a horrible strong smell. Shower curtain was broken, bottom frame from the bed was broken and sticking out I hurt my toes running into the metal was I walked in. Would not book again!

The hotel was horrible, nowhere near what the pictures show. My room didn't have a deadbolt, TV was missing, sheets were dirty. The walls had a weird stain which was either poop or blood. The bathtub had black mold around it. The hair lower was hanging from the wall and had something broken, it sounded like a garbage disposal and you could smell it burning if you turned it on for 5 seconds. And the door didn't even close right.

The property felt very unsafe and the top lock on our door completely broke off the door frame.

Water damage on wall and no chair in room to sit at table

Upon checkin the front desk guy told us that the room we booked was under construction so he put us in a different room which which was a cheaper room. When we got to the room there were only two towels I booked a room for 4 people. When we went down to get more towels the guy at the front told us that the washer worked implying we could wash our towels. He then said that the room was only booked for 2 people which it wasn’t. The sheets had stains on them and the room was not in great shape.

Red roof ruined mother's Day there is a part when you make a reservation where it says pay up property this company tried to charge my card at 11:00 before checkout when we put that we will be paying at property due to that being done she was overdrafted it also says that we wouldn't be charged until we got there as well y'all had no right to be charging a car before checking anyway you don't even let people check in before 3:00 so why would you charge. Disappointed and thank you for ruining those things

The door latch inside the room would not lock. When telling the staff member onsite the issue, he did not care and said that it was the only room they had available. However when a customer that spoke with them prior to me about the same issue and requested a different room, he happily have them a different room. I did not feel safe staying at this motel

Our toilet seat and bath tub had paint stains and the floors were gross with a tiny dead bugs and to top it off… BLOOD STAINS on the bed sheets! They should’ve thrown those sheets away. Also, someone broke the door in front of our room. Our stay was very disturbing.

I've never experienced anything of the sort at ANY RedRoof in San Antonio!! This location was filthy. The rooms smelled like dog urine & feces. There was visible dog droopings in the hallway as well! No working elevator so the stairs have to be used which have cigarette butts all up and down them! They refused to give towels for our family of 4, only 2 sets were available in the room. They claimed they had no extra bath towels at all! Refused to refund our money for us to go elsewhere!

Had to change rooms because the first was horrible. No extra towels, front desk couldn’t give me change for vending machine. Vending machine took my money. Paid $5 for a 12 oz soda when it was supposed to be $2. Not a great place. Will not return.

It was noisy with construction and banging in room next door, dirty, towels stained and key card didn’t work had to be going to desk to reactivate. It was horrible. The office clerk refused a refund on day one. I wish Expedia could help with a refund but same. Nobody cared how unhappy we were.

Wasn't a bad stay but wasn't quite great either. Room was small and not all that clean. Bed kept tipping over while sitting at the door of the bed while eating. Shower curtain was hanging nearly out of the wall allowing water to get all over the floor.

There was no lock on the door. We had to slam the door 2-3 times for it to close. Housekeeping was knocking on the door at 9:45am wanting to come in and clean when checkout is at 11am. There was no shampoo or soap in the room and when I went down to ask for some I was given 1bar of soap. I literally had to ask for shampoo twice.

There was a mildew or mold like smell. Property is ok but need updating and renovation. Rooms ac unit was loud. Bathtub/shower needs Reno, felt like a slip and fall was highly likely. No cups or Kleenex in the rooms.

Oof this hotel--where do I start? I saw that it had low ratings but I needed a place to stay for the eclipse and this was one of the only options available that wasn't marked up 400-800%. It's dingy and dirty. Stains all over the carpet and also on the towels. There was a roach in my bathroom the first morning. The toilet wasn't bolted properly. Several things in the room were cracked or missing parts. Housekeeping did not clean while I was there.

It was clean the room was neat and clean. The only dispute I have was there was a not of chatter and sounds coming from the hall way. I was on the third floor. So I assume staff doesn't go up there unless they need to. The halls were filled with people coming in and out from the room in front of me. And the halls where full of smoke coming from that room. They were using the fire escape stairs to go up and down the hotel. This was already early in the morning hours. Like at 2 am. I assume they are short on staff for the graveyard hours. But the staff should be checking the camera feeds and taking care of that matter. But everything else was good. The bed was soft and the pillows were good. The shower and hot water. And the a/c was super cold.
