Check in was fine. Rooms are dated and a cockroach walked on the bed when I was on it. There was a gap on the door big enough to see the hallway

Clean room, enjoyed our stay.. staff were sweet

Was 3 hours from home with 4 kids and they overbooked the hotel. They stuck us in another hotel a block away with the doors on the outside and didn’t feel safe. Do not recommend at all.

Friendly Staff at Front Desk Other staff members very helpful . Breakfast needs help, large groups waiting for refills, food out. Crowded area that people block to exit dining room. One staff member is not enough to handle all people.

The property is well-maintained ! The staff is very friendly . The price is great for what you get. I would definitely recommend this place very family friendly.

The staff was very accommodating and the hotel was so very clean. The breakfast is good very family friendly. The pool was nice and clean and even though it’s so hot outside it wasn’t bad with the shade they have up. The carpets are clean it actually brought me great joy seeing them vacuuming when we arrived as the last hotel was quite the opposite!

Everything was fine

The location was right off the freeway and about 12 minutes from Fort Sam Houston. There was a lot of homeless activity (multiple panhandlers at the light) and construction. Not very comfortable being approached. The hotel is very old and dated. It also looked as if modifications were made with minimal investment. The sofa sleeper was gross! The smell of urine from the sofa permeated the entire suite! The mattress on the sofa sleeper was also gross. There were stains that covered the matress. There were stains that were on the base of the double beds as well as on the walls. The microwave was filthy and did not have a glass plate. We did not have enough towels and were told that we needed to bring our dirty towels to the front desk to exchange for new ones. Overall an awful experience because it was too late to find another hotel. Never again...

Smell, dirty, bugs, etc. Would NOT recommend. Pictures must be either very old or technically not this hotel. Very gross & bad. I wouldn't have my enemies stay here even.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean as well as everything. Wish there was more variety for breakfast but the waffles were good. The pool was clean but the gym had some broken machines and it was very hot despite that the AC was on... I still gave it a 5 star because the gym was not an issue for me and for breakfast they had room service and were a lot of restaurants in the area within walking distance.

The staff was kind and helpful. The room was decent except that the bedding had a little smell and the desk light did not work. I do love how they have church service on Sunday. Over all it was good, I would return! Thank you Quality Inn!

DO NOT STAY HERE.DO NOT TRUST THE GOOD REVIEWS. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. This property is not as advertised. The hotel is old and run down. The hot tub was not running and hasn't for some time. The pool was considered by staff to be working but was milky colored, and the bottom not visible. The hallways were filthy. The elevator had spilled cereal and pistachio shells in the corners for the entire 4 days we were there. We were scheduled to stay an extra night but left early. The ac unit in our room worked well, but was loose in the wall and the front panel fell on me when I went to adjust the temps. The words "F*ck you" were carved into the plastic plate covers and there were stains all over the walls and ceilings. It is not an easy location to get to currently. The interstate is being worked on and the construction is a giant mess. Breakfast consisted of powdered scrambled eggs, tater tots, and slices of standard sandwich white bread. Some jellies, butter, and coffee. Even after expressing our concerns after check in, we were dismissed and no remediation was even close to being offered. Stay far away from here. I almost forgot! There's also black mold around the windows 😃

Very nice and attentive staff. They had a nice breakfast and the housekeeping was excellent although to get housekeeping you have to request it a day in advance if you're going to want it.

A bit dirty

It was an old hotel. In our room, the walls had been repaired, the couch had stains, the carpet was very old and had a strange odor. All the furniture was never updated, it looked like the original furniture from the 80s. Even the ceiling had the old style popcorn texture. The lobby has been updated so that throws you off, but the rooms needed a lot of updates.

Place is in need of repair on nearly everything. Owners were friendly enough and the hotel was conveniently located next to Fort Sam, but the highway noise and train whistles were over the top. Hot tub inoperative, which was frankly the biggest reason I chose this place.

AC worked fine. Never used the hot tub. Hotel is been not been well maintained.

Hot tub was AND has been out of order for more than a month. The entire reason I chose this place was NOT available.

The room was great, bed was comfy. The side door doesn't latch so that's a little concerning but overall it was very good.

Bugs crawling in the bathroom and in the bedroom. I also didn’t like how in order to use the lights I had to insert a key card and the minute I took it out the electricity went out

They were very accommodating to my situation (messed up flight and had 2 bookings) close to the airport and the river walk! Not fancy but nice and a really good value! Rocky was on point with the check out! And the girl that seems to work 24/7 was so sweet and very helpful overall a really good stay! Just don't park under the trees the birds and bird poop was really bad lol

Breakfast was a bare minimal waffles were good kitchen. Staff was on point with refills and keeping the area clean building is old and the room also showed aging. Check-in was difficult

One of the reasons I booked the hotel was for the hot tub and the pool and hot tub were closed no sign or anything saying that it was closed or when it would be back open. You should not advertise an amenity that you do not currently offer that’s called false advertisement. And also the breakfast is super basic for the price of the room no meat no bread options other than white toast

Room/bathroom clean-ish. Nothing plugged in. Nightstand across room. Floor wet in spots (?) Charging ports loose/not working in lamp between beds.

They need more cleaning and better lighting and look.

The morning breakfast was bad the waffle machine was burning the waffles and only one waffle maker for the hotel. The coffee was cold. Staff were not friendly. In the morning. I’m a morning person. Last time I stay at la Quetta Hotel .
