Quality Inn I-10 East near Frost Bank Center

Meh, it's a place to sleep for the night if you're attending an event at the Frost Bank Center but I would never reserve more than 1 night. It's very run down. If they put money into it and make it nicer, they could probably make quite a bit off the event center visitors.

I tried to keep an open mind when I arrived at this property. Checked in, got our room key, no issues. The door to the room was dirty. Upon opening the front door the room was dark, we opened the curtains and the voile curtains were all stained. We put on the air con as the room smelt stale. We sat down after a 3.5 hour drive and tried to switch on the TV which did not work, went to take a shower and the shampoo and conditioner was empty !! Actually bed was ok and slept as well as could be expected. I put my suitcases and bags against the door as it was bottom floor, woke up in the morning to find everything covered in ants. Called the front desk who could not hear me on the phone as the line was bad. Went down to Reception where i was informed i'm here alone and cannot leave the front desk and housekeeping won't be available until 10am. I ended up putting everything in the bath and rinsing then down before i could load my car. All our food had to be disposed off. The bathroom and towels were also covered in ants. I really would not recommend this hotel to anyone, not only as its a midden but the customer service was non existent.

To start off the door barely opens you have to hit it for it to open properly. We go inside the room and the ac is off and smells bad, we check the restroom and the restroom door you have to basically tackle it so that it can close. I really tried to give this room the benefit of the doubt and thinking everything was going to be better but no. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at will never ever stay here again I’ve stayed at a bunch of hotels all over texas and this has been by far the WORST hotel we have stayed at DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!.

Later I repeat the question and he tells me that it is for the 100 dollars deposit. They should hire friendlier and more cordial people to receive guests

Great Customer service if I had a problem, they would ready to help me solve my problem. I’ve been there before good value very clean rooms. Very nice customer front desk.

Great place conveniently close to restaurants, shopping and freeway. Traveled with our band members and everyone was happy with their stay. No complaints about any of the rooms. Thanks for a pleasant and comfortable stay!

The pool was nice as well. I did have an issue with my bill but it was resolved in a reasonable amount of time. The one disappointment for us was the breakfast...there is no sausage or bacon. I would stay here again because of the price point.

The property was clean and easy to find. The price was great and we felt safe both my son and I. The breakfast was minimal, but really appreciated none the less.

Not a great experience... got there checked in. So called room was a non smoking and room smelled nothing but tobacco. Told front desk and she was not as helpfull.

I stayed here recently to watch game 2 of the NBA finals (go Knicks!) and even tho it was a short stay, the staff was very helpful and accommodating. I arrived very late and check in was easy. The room was spacious and the AC worked great against the heat and humidity. Everything in the room was very clean and the bed was noticeably comfortable. It was an easy walk back from the arena to the hotel. There isn’t much around the hotel within walking distance if you’re looking for restaurants/bars, but I was not. I would stay here again for another event at the Frost Bank Center.

The lyft driver who picked us up to take us to to downtown for dinner told us not to leave our room at night, that the area was not good. So, unless you're desperate, I would not recommend this motel.

Daily cleaning was OK. Staff OK, but forgetful about requests (only 3 hangers). I requested more, still only 3 after 2 requests and 3 days of my stay. I had to wrap the refrigerator adjustment knob with wire from a "bread tie", to make it turn the adjustment knob to the coldest temperature. (That was on the replacement of the first broken knob). At "free breakfast": pancake machine broken; The cereal (Fruit loops) cereal was stale; There was only 2% milk available, (98% water is not milk to me); Muffins were OK. Bread was OK. Parking was OK but it was not marked with lines or numbers on the back side of the hotel. The price was fair.

It was the closest to the Freeman Colosseum. First night was ??the clerk would just not listen to what was wrong. Either she couldn’t understand or you wouldn’t listen. I repeated that we wanted a new room because the bathroom door wouldn’t shut properly and the phone was not working. She asked me over 4 times and I would just repeat myself. Then she kept getting my room number wrong.

Staff amazing, rooms clean but the whole property needs a complete make over. Breakfast was wheat bread, coffee and I think poppyseed muffins 6, needs drastic help, so much for a hot breakfast! Bathroom had to be a joke it was so small it was an after thought!

Everything was great, the staff help us out with any questions we had. Parking was great no problems with it, rooms air was also great no weird smells or any bad smells. We enjoyed our stay.

Room was clean, staff very nice, ac worked great. Breakfast choices weren't much but it was edible. Muffins, biscuits, orange juice, water. Vending machine broken. Overall for the price was very good. I liked it being by the highway as seemed less dangerous.

The room was horrible, there were holes in the back of the bathroom door where someone punched it. The bathroom rod was held up by card board.

Parking was an issue if you got in late.

They said that they had a breakfast “buffet. It was NOT! They had a pancake maker, but it was broken. They didn’t have eggs, waffles, or sausages like they had in their pictures. They had some biscuits, but they were stone cold. Very disappointed at this Quality Inn, because I usually like to stay at Quality Inn’s.

Worst hotel ever

It's pet-friendly. The carpets were stained, the air conditioner was the best, the shower curtain was kinda nasty, but the bedding was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Pictures were total false advertisement! There was no parking! No working ice machines! No breakfast as told! Room was $138. Then they charged my card $100 deposit then a whole day after my check out they charged my card $198 for a smoking fee after my check out which I had definitely did not smoke, I had my 3 children and elderly mother with me but told them my neighbors were and saw them and they hung up on mye TWICE! when I asked for my refund of 300. Do not stay at this place! They fraudulently charge your card for fees when they know their property is a piece of crap already SMELLY AND GHETTO. I WOULD LIKE ALL OF MY MONEY BACK AND TAKE THIS PROPERTY OF HOTELS.COM

Check in took awhile, room had different color of touch up paint on the walls. The drain to the tub did not work, the hot water got so hot in the shower that the knob burnt my hand.

Pillows the size of a postage stamp. Room painted a dark gray with very few light fixtures, one of which didn't work. This towels. "Breakfast" had very few choices. However, room was clean and location extremely convenient to SARodeo.

The customer service was terrible, especially from the front desk staff. Their attitude felt discriminatory and unprofessional. The only positive aspect is that the hotel is close to the stadium.

The AC kept turning off. We didn’t try breakfast. At the front desk, the lady was kinda rude. The room was clean, but there was stuff that stood out to me, one of the outlets had metal poking out and the lights didn’t always work.

Hotel was just what we wanted. Wasn’t super fancy but we were just looking for an inexpensive place to spend a few hours after a spurs game. Room was clean and we had no problems. Will stay here again if we ever decide to go to another Spurs game.

Courteous staff. Free parking. 20 min walk to the Frost Center, which is faster than driving & parking on a game night. Some rooms are being remodeled. Bed was nice. There are a lot of old fixtures that need replacing. Minimal breakfast - pancake machine was broken. Overall good value for a short stay in that area.

I was charged a $100 security deposit (fully refunded at check out) however, no deposit was mentioned through the Expedia App. Hotel manager would not allow me to checkin until the deposit was paid. Stating the reservation was not made through the hotel directly but through a 3rd party app (Expedia). When trying to choose hotel accommodations and budget it would be beneficial knowing all fees prior to booking a hotel.

Old and dated, run down property. Lady at desk slow…did not know how to use computer…had to call someone and then left to attend to a crying baby in the manager’s office. $100 deposit on top of room fee charged in case of damage. Room had stains throughout on sofa, on light we’reswitches and bed spread. Broken plug on wall. Good enough after coming in at 1:00 am from a concert. Sleep and a shower.

Room was clean. Comfy bed. Door isn’t sealed properly letting hot/cold air come in from the outside. Had to place a towel at the bottom. Ac seemed to work well maybe it needs a little maintenance though. Tv was a bit odd, I had a movie on and it was narrating it for me (I’ve seen the movie before that’s not how it should be). I couldn’t find how to turn that off. Breakfast wasn’t too bad, most people seemed disappointed that the coffee maker wasn’t working and the apple juice was tasting like apple juice, watered down. The orange juice, toast, muffins were good. Staff were friendly and always present when needed 10/10 on staff that’s the biggest thing, being there for the customers! Oh and the top lock was loose by the screws and broken in half that should be replaced for better security.

Our room had unmade beds milk and Dr pepper on dresser door handle almost coming off we never even went in. My brother got room next to us and as soon as they shut door their handle came off and they were locked in for while with my youngest child. The manager was super rude yelling we ended up having to go to another hotel.

Room smelled like smoke even though it was non smoking. Running the A/C helped some. No soap in the bathroom, just shampoo and conditioner on the wall. The safety latch lock on the front door was broken off and couldn't latch. Also they charged a $100 deposit when staying here. I did not see anything about this when I booked online. The employee told me it can take up to 5 days to get the deposit back after checking out.

The only positive was the location — it’s conveniently close to the Frost Bank Center, which was the main reason we chose it. However, the photos online were misleading. The rooms looked updated in the pictures, but in reality, they were old, smelled musty and humid, and the AC wasn’t doing much to help with the heat. The pool was unusable — dirty and full of trash and debris. The breakfast was also disappointing: just some juice, stale bread, and undercooked pancakes. Definitely not the “continental breakfast” we expected. On the upside, the staff was friendly, and they did answer all our questions, but they weren’t particularly helpful beyond that.

Convenient location; really close to Frost bank Center. Reasonable pricing. Only negative was the Tv in our room didn’t work & at check out which is 11am we ran a little late and ended up out at around 11:15. We received a call to the room and front desk clerk said “mam checkout is at 11am not 11:20am” thought it was a little rude on the approach; especially since we had already started taking our belongings downstairs.

Convenient for a concert we were going to, pretty basic.

We were only limited to only 2 sets of towels…fridge was dirty…tube was dirty..microwaves was dirty and loud and we woke up with insect bites. Would not recommend and would never stay there again
