Park Inn by Radisson, Medical Center

Close to my son's apartment. I was literally told that there were no extra pillows that I could have. Your pillows are as thin as pancakes. The bed had bars on the side and seemed like roll out springs. Staff truly didn't care whether we were comfortable or not. No way should this hotel have the Radison name anywhere on it. I would never stay here again.

The staff was very friendly, check in and out was fast and the ease of getting to food and our appointments was great.

I like how updated and modern the furniture and decorations were. It was clean and a good price. Staff were great. Some of the paint could be touched up around mirror in bathroom. The TV visual was messed up making it so hard to watch any programs because it was all pixels and squares. The staff said all the tvs currently had that problem because it was coming from the cable provider? I also was disappointed that they advertise offering breakfast but it is just coffee, a honey bun, and a mandarin orange. It should be listed as light morning sweets instead. I loved the cute little folded leaf decoration on my toilet paper. So pretty and made me smile! If I ever had to go to the Methodist hospital there again for anything I would stay there again. Super close to the hospital. Thank you for a good stay.

Loved that coffee was available all day...FREE! And the breakfast snacks and fruit was just enough to start the day. I came to town for a show at the Alamodome and the hotel was super convenient in a nice area and easy access to the freeway. Most importantly, IT WAS QUIET!!! No a peep from other hotel guests. Loud ppl walking through halls. Loud noises from outside the hotel. Both nights were fantastic. I hope to return again next summer.

The room was nice and clean. Beds comfortable. Climate was good. Location was perfect since my mom was having a proceduce. To be honest it was near so many areas especially if your not from the area.

Location is excellent if you need to be at the medical center. A block away from the medical school. The interior is kind of run down. The bathrooms have been upgraded but the rest of the room needs to be fixed as well.

The staff was very friendly, I immediately noticed how clean the room was. The bathroom amenities were great in walk in shower. The AC was quiet and kept room cool. The breakfast was coffee and muffins only but it's OK. We will be staying here again.

Hotel was what u would expect for the price. Problem is I didn't get my deposit back. Cashier said she would, but it's been a few days already and I havent seen it. Im a texas native and i love san Antonio. But im never going back to this hotel again.

Hotel was ok but front desk lady super nosy and annoying we had a service dog showed her his license and cleared so as soon as me my wife and my daughters walk in she yelled at us saying no cats I told her lady we have no cat it’s small dog so I took him right in front of her she tried to apologize but no she made it very awkward she was so nosy for everything hotel only had one entrance every time you walk In she will be all over you and then ridiculous sign saying do not use your ice chest on the ice machine never seen that before hotel smelled bad room very small and beds are very hard next day wasn’t even nine am and she had the cleaning service right on out door waiting just rude my Go to is always Spark by Hilton In San Antonio Tx but wanted to give another hotel a chance since we travel to that area a lot but no never again don’t waste your money she made our stay very very uncomfortable hotel not really cheap either and feels dirty if your going to any attractions around the area avoid this place out six flags trip stay was ruined by this nosy front desk lady and this dam dirty hotel … never again first time and last time ever staying in this dump

We had been on a road trip for 6 days and this was our final stop. Literally the best place we stayed.

Friendly staff, clean room and bathroom, quiet and felt safe. Had prepackaged muffins (or something like that), fresh tangerines and coffee available for breakfast, like other reviews mentioned, but stayed there for proximity to Hospital/Medical facilities so who cares about what's available for breakfast?? Just a few easy minutes to the hospital. Would stay here again, anytime.

The AC had a good range of cool/warm and strength of breeze. The period I stayed there was unusually cool for May, so I turned up the room temp and had a great sleep. The pillows came with 3 different softness and bulks, which was nice. The shower was hot enough and the stream was strong enough although I've had it better elsewhere. The only disappointment for me was the really basic breakfast: pre-packaged cupcakes, oranges, and tea/coffee.

Breakfast is extremely poor, only twin small cupcakes and coffee, not even water. Bed sheets are dirty smelly as well as towels. Shower curtain has strong stinky mildew odor, So, I asked to replace it, but one of the front counter person said, “housekeeper will do it tomorrow”, which made me very upset cuz I had to take a shower right away after long day work, it was 8:30pm in the evening, then another counter person agreed to do it for me. Next morning, front desk staff told me, “ we don’t change the sheets every day “ when I asked her to have the housekeeper to change the sheets, which means that I was sleeping in the dirty sheets for last 4 nights already. I decided I never want to go back this place anymore, never!

Friendly front desk staff, adequate parking, nice water pressure from the shower and sink, very clean bathroom, daily room service, but no purified drinking water available without purchase from vending machine. Also, hotel lost power twice, but this was likely affecting more than just the hotel, and happened right after a thunderstorm.

Clean room, parking was good but calling at 11:01 saying check out is at 11 is crazy. Not even an 5 star hotel will do that. Understand check out is at 11 but when kids are involved it’s a little hard with timing. Mind you we left at 11:05. Other than making sure you leave at 11am sharp place wasn’t too bad especially by the hospital which we needed.

Staff were very helpful. The rooms need some updating, the lack of hot water on the 2nd floor was frustrating. It would be an added benefit for the hotel to offer more than coffee and pre packaged muffins for breakfast. Overall it was in a perfect location to the hospitals for our appointments.

For the price and location, it was an acceptable value. It is across the street from Methodist Hospital. The floor in my room was a bit tacky. I thought perhaps they mopped and did not get all of the cleaning solution up.

Room was in good condition and staff was very friendly. A/c worked well... Only stayed one night to get sleep so can't really say much else.

Park Inn was BASIC and CLEAN for the $80+. No frills here for our one-night pass-thru of San Antonio. Our king bed was comfortable, room was clean. The area felt safe, clean to us. Located across the street from a medical center, so it is convenient for that. That said, of course there were occasional sirens (distant, then silenced as they neared), bringing folks to the center who needed help. Coffee and small chocolate chip muffins (well, that's one way to look like you're offering while not wanting folks to partake) were offered in the dining area in the morning. The hall lighting is very stark-white, a bit too "old hospital"-sterile looking for me. Parking would not be good if pulling a rig. But a Basic and Clean facility.

The check-in process required an additional 50 deposit. The room was a converted basement. The bed was not comfortable due to mattress and pillows bein sub-par quality.. In the morning the elevator was not working. This is very cheap and unclean property. The paint is fresh and the restrooms in the room are decent minus the single ply toilet paper.

We stayed the night and our vehicle got broken into in the middle of the night along with the truck next to us. So frustrating.

Quick check-in, quick check-out. Showers were clean and plenty of hot water. Bed was thin king and ok. Pillows on small side but I like my pillows small.

Great as to being close to the hospital, breakfast was meh 😒 chocolate chip muffins, mandarin oranges, or bananas. As for the Tv stations there wasn’t much of a selection and couldn’t find any local channels. The shower was good though it did have some calcium build up on the head if the shower but shower came full strength. The beds were full size beds not queen size but standard in most hotels but not quite comfortable, I could feel the springs coils in the mattress, pillow top mattress would have been better.

The place needs a total upgrade. It's pretty old and the elevators or kind of scary although I must say that that the beds and pillows are very comfortable. If you travel with a pet, you are relegated to the basement. Yes that's right, motel is pet friendly, but you're gonna have to stay on the bottom floor. The bottom floor is where housekeeping is located. It gets pretty noisy in the early morning.That makes no sense as there is only one entrance in or out of this place and it is on the first floor. There are emergency exits, but they are locked at all times. You can't beat the price .this place is a good place to stay If you're not expecting anything extra. The location is good with lots of places close by.

Great location, safe. Clean property and in fairly new condition. Don't count on the breakfast, not much to offer. We stayed on the basement floor and the room had alot of moisture, damp. Would definitely stay again but maybe ask for a differnt floor. Overall great choice for price.

Put us next to elevator and ice machine. Only half full according to clerk. Breakfast was crappy coffee, a small orange and a pack of two dry blueberry muffins. I was expecting at least fresh packages.Clerks were nice but no one should be in that room unless they are the last guest to arrive.

This is hands down our favorite place to stay in San Antonio! We always appreciate the smooth and easy check-in process. The hotel's cleanliness is outstanding, making for a truly comfortable experience. We're always impressed by the front desk staff's kindness, especially the gentleman who consistently goes out of his way to help with the doors. Our rooms have always featured comfy beds and perfectly functioning AC, ensuring a restful stay. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when we're in the city!

I have visited this property numerous times and believe it to be a family-owned hotel. The staff is consistently friendly, and the lady is always eager to assist, allowing me to check in early and checking in on me daily to see if I need anything. Overall, my experience at this hotel has been quite enjoyable. I highly recommend it, especially the housekeeping, which is very friendly.
