Everything was great except for the pool area. You should have better control of it and enforcing your rules. I didn't like getting splashed with water by kids jumping in the water all the time while I was trying to relax on the chairs by the pool.

We had a great weekend at this property. It's really at the best location on the Riverwalk, and it completely improved our Riverwalk experience to be able to get into a cool, private room or take a dip in the pool between sweaty strolls. This is an old property, which is what makes it a pretty interesting stay if you like the history and architecture of old San Antonio. With that said, I'm sure Omni struggles to keep up with maintenance and so I'm happy to pay a premium to stay here even though I would never describe it as luxury. With that said, though, there were a few things that could have been easily improved upon with just a little bit more attention to detail. With this price, they could have dusted the ice bin. The ice bin had about an inch of dust on it, like it hadn't been cleaned in about 6 months, maybe more. The glasses provided had hard water stains at the bottom of them, not very inviting. The door to the bathroom was closed when we entered our room and it stank like the last guest (if you catch my drift). Positives are the bedding was clean, fresh, and the bed very comfortable. The a/c worked very well and was relatively quiet. Our room was situated with walkout access to the (small but well maintained) pool which we enjoyed very much and I would request for future stays. The LG tv had some issues, it would randomly shut off and was sometimes hard to turn back on and it would default back to the main menu screen, making you lose the channel you were watching.

If you want to stay on the Riverwalk, you won't find a better location than this hotel. The hotel is a little older but very clean. The pool is nice. The staff were all friendly and professional.

Rooms could be cleaned better. Food for breakfast and dinner from the restaurant attached was excellent. Staff very friendly.
- 3/5
Rooms could use some extra cleaning, found fake eyelashes on the floor of mine.. I don't wear them. And hair that was not mine in the shower on the walls. Breakfast good and restaurant attached was very good.

The only thing I’d point out is that the balcony is shared between several rooms. It was never an issue for us, but just to be aware! 😊

The staff was top notch. My family felt very safe and impressed with the hospitality. My kids loved the movie night by the pool. Us adults were impressed with the mixologist behind the bars. Definitely would stay again. Probably could have had a few more pool towels during the peek pool time. Also maybe a vending machine or gift shop available for late evening drinks for the kids. We prefer not to have gone to the bar for a coke at 10pm. No other concerns.

Location. Staff.

Stay at the riverwalk . If you want to spend time at the restaurants and shops at river walk, everything is close by the hotel. Parking garage across the street for more economical parking and everything down town is with in walking distance. Stayed with my family a couple of times . Recommend 100%

Location close to riverwalk and restaurants. Over price. Lots of taxes and extra government fee for the area. No internet service included. Parking was almost 60 dollars per night.

The hotel was great people very curtious And helpful. Just the wifi situation so trivial not to give their guess use of the wifi seems Just like thwy want more money where they can get it. But other than that it a good stay.

Always have a great stay at this hotel. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Location is great.
- 5/5
Property was extremely clean especially being an older hotel. The staff were very friendly as well as helpful as we dealt with 2 kids on their first San Antonio trip. Location was ideal as the river walk is just steps outside of the hotel. Will definitely be back soon.

Our room was very clean, no problems in that area. The staff was amazingly attentive even stopped us in the hallway to see if we needed anything. Breakfast was a nice hot buffet which was not included. Parking lot had many open spaces, no trash all work really hard time keep to with. This made for a great trip.

Lovely property. Room over looking the river with a balcony was great. Quick valet service! Delicious food at Four Brothers! Pool area was delightful - not too loud, but fun. Will definitely return!

I have stayed here multiple times before and never had an issue. I brought one of my best friends on this trip with me and our room was gross! It looked like the room had not been cleaned at all; there were crackers on the floor, the dust ruffle on the bed was clearly stained, there was even hair on the bed when we moved the first pillows. It was late and we were tired, so did not ask for another room. After being there for an hour, we left and drove 4 hours back home instead. They refused to refund our stay stating we should have requested another room. The rooms should have all been clean for guests every single time so there are no issues. Will not stay here again moving forward.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. Great location!
- 5/5
We had a courtyard view room and it was very large. The location is perfect for downtown and Riverwalk access so we didn't drive anywhere. The Four Brothers restaurant was really good although we didn't have reservations we sat at the bar. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. The day we considered it, there were a lot of families and it was a little crowded. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
So nice clean and on the board walk! Very sophisticated we loved it! Our only complaint was the small pool for so many people! Gross and valet was $55 a night I was told $24 but we still enjoy everything! We will be back!
- 2/5
When I called the front desk to report the problem, they simply sent me a new room key. No one offered to help us move our luggage, which was very disappointing. As an apology, they gave me a $75 restaurant credit. However, when I received my bill by email at checkout, the credit had not been applied. I had to wait at the front desk while they corrected the mistake. To make matters worse, the valet service was extremely slow. We had to wait about 20 minutes for our car. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Poor customer service, lack of attention to detail, and the condition of the first room did not meet the standards I expected.

Fabulous hotel right on the Riverwalk - was able to relax on the verandah watching the bustle of people walking by. Room was very clean and comfortable, and staff very courteous and helpful. Definitely come back next time we visit San Antonio!
- 5/5
Had a Riverview room. Awesome view, room very clean. Our room had a mini fridge, coffee maker and safe - no microwave. We preferred for the hotel valet parking over the parking garage across the street. The staff were all friendly and very accommodating. Check out is at noon. If your car is valet parked and you still have time to enjoy the Riverwalk or other san antonio sites, they will hold your luggage at the valley desk until 8:00 pm. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone that wants to spend most of their time in the Riverwalk area.
- 5/5
I think of the Omni La Mansion as the grand dame of the Riverwalk. I think I first stayed there in 1977, and it still retains much of its original charm. The pool and common areas still manage to look fresh, and the balconies along the river just as charming. Because my chosen room was not available, the front desk upgraded us to a junior suite - a very welcome upgrade. Breakfast was served quickly and was delicious and perfectly presented, drinks in the bar were exceptionally good. I love it when a property ages gracefully and well. That's the case here. A great selection.

El hotel es viejo, pensé que iba a estar en mejores condiciones. La ubicación es excelente
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is excellent on the riverwalk, and we were able to walk to a lot of food options and attractions. The valet parking was extremely expensive, so we ended up grabbing a spot across the street for a fraction of the cost in the ramp. Also, the pool is really small. Overall great stay though with a lot of wonderful service from staff

The only downside was our room. It was on the first floor, which was fine, but it had a strong humid smell when we walked in. Later that night, we noticed the carpet and even the pillows felt damp. The room itself was nice, but the humidity made it uncomfortable and unfortunately took away from an otherwise great stay. I'd definitely consider staying here again if the humidity issue is addressed.

Room AC did not work. I asked for them to change rooms but another one was not available till late in the evening. Will never stay there again or recommend them in the future.
- 2/5
Also, I’m concerned about hygiene when dogs are in the rooms not sure how thoroughly the rooms are cleaned after these pets are in there. I’m not sure if I would return to this property or any other property that allows pets.
- 5/5
Amazing place to stay only caveat was that it gets loud at night
- 4/5
Overall a nice historical hotel with easy access to the riverwalk. Pool area is quite small. On site dining good quality and I appreciated being able to do takeout.
- 4/5
We enjoy staying here when we visit SA. Enjoy the Four Brothers onsite restaurant for breakfast and proximity to the river walk. Room was nice and well appointed but personally I prefer a more luxurious comforter on the bed. The one was just very thin- it is summer so I’ll give grace for that. Onsite parking is pricey. Make it free for Omni members. ;)
- 5/5
Just one problem, we stayed there 3 nights, our neighbors were loud. The walls are thin. For 2 nights we heard arguing and yelling. We just turned the tv on.
- 5/5
Everything was clean, the pool was nice. They had a movie on a huge screen at the pool- super fun!
- 3/5
Small pool and very busy.

The hotel is lovely. We chose a premier room with a river view. It was wonderful!

The Omni was wonderful!!! Beautiful, great location, very comfortable beds, our room overlooked the Riverwalk and the view was perfect. All the staff were kind and helpful. Nothing but great things to say about this hotel!!!

Stayed here for our anniversary. It is a beautiful hotel. We didn't try the breakfast and did they valet parking. They were helpful and nice. Room was very comfortable. Will stay here again.
- 5/5
Property was clean and super convenient to get around the river walk area of the city. The staff was very helpful and pleasant to be around.
- 5/5
We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would highly recommend. From the car valet, to the restaurant staff including Jazzy the Four Brother’s bartender, service was fantastic. The rooms were very comfortable, the pool was lovely and the location was perfect.
- 5/5
We arrived and got checked in with ease the rooms were pretty and the basic was more spacious than I thought. I’ll tell you that staying here just for the experience is worth it. You get treated so well by the staff and if you’re celebrating they are amazing at helping elevate that celebration! Eat here for dinner and across the street another night both great! The bar turns into coffee shop in the morning which was amazing. Right off the river walk so you can pretty much walk anywhere you want. I am going to book with them from now on!
- 5/5
One of our favorite locations to stay in San Antonio. Beautiful.
- 5/5
We had just a great stay. Very nice staff and amenities are just perfect! We receive a complementary drink and our kids ate for free at the Four Brothers restaurant. Very good overall. Recommend 100%
- 5/5
Loved the space and the bathrobes only would have been nice to have a bathtube to really enjoy the bathrobe even more.
- 5/5
Great hotel, historic in d down town San Antonio. Close to everything!
- 3/5
Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing from start to finish. The room was not properly cooled and never became comfortable during our stay. We were also charged a much larger incidental hold than we were originally told, and at one point there appeared to be multiple incidental charges on our card. When we asked for an explanation, no one could clearly tell us why. The customer service also fell short of what we expected. Throughout our stay, not once did anyone check on us to see if we needed fresh towels, our trash emptied, or any additional amenities. We ended up taking out our own trash and managing without the level of service we expected. What stood out most was that many interactions felt focused on receiving tips rather than providing genuine hospitality. Great service earns tips naturally, but attentive service should come first. Overall, we left feeling frustrated by the lack of communication, poor service, and billing concerns. I hope management takes these issues seriously and works to improve both guest service and transparency.
- 3/5
Had to throw a fit to move rooms for a working TV. Lost my balcony when I was moved. Left a few pairs of socks in the previous room and front desk refused to check and said they would call me if they get turned in. Went for coffee at 6:40am and the bar that serves coffee was still closed, guess it's a good place if you don't mind sleeping in. Very clean and rustic but fell short of what I thought Omni portrays themselves to be. Not that I wouldn't stay here again but won't be my first choice.
- 5/5
We have been to San Antonio many times and stayed at many different hotels.
- 5/5
Entire hotel clean. Very helpful staff. The only thing negative is you need to ask for a microwave in your room.
- 5/5
Great place
- 4/5
Although, I loved the fact that we got to stay on the riverwalk and the room overlooked the river, the room we were given was clean but there was a musty smell then I noticed and felt that the carpet was wet like they had just shampooed the carpet or there was a leak other than that all was good.

This space is beautiful we are coming back in November.
