The best Motel 6 in San Antonio hands down

Front desk and workers were very nice My son enjoyed the pool! The room wasn't clean very well , towels had hair on them The beds had pet hair on the as well.

Room was clean but hotel and some part in the room need updating for sure (mainly carpets in hallways. Staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Solo traveled with pups and felt safe the whole time.

Family friendly

The only thing I liked about this location is that my 2 small dogs stayed for free. The cleanliness job of the room was so depressing. I initially walked the room before agreeing to pay and that was to check for live pest activity. I will say that I didn't see any live activity but there were roach droppings on the floor, and I even found 2 dead roaches in one corner of the room. The hvac system was too loud, and the bathroom door was really warped. On my last day when I was supposed to check out, I was awakened by the intense weed smell (mind you I got a non-smoking room) that it caused my allergies to flare up even more.

The room was very clean and updated. The staff was always hopeful when it came to getting new towels or getting a new key card. We had a very nice stay for our Fourth of July weekend. Definitely will come again

It’s a good hotel for the price, I needed to stay one night on NW S.A. The pool was nice and clean which was a plus for my daughter, she enjoyed the water for the hour she was in and I enjoyed the sun beating down on me😁(one word, “UMBRELLA”)

I was placed in a room surrounded by families with children running up and down the halls and knocking on doors pretty much all night. The clerk said there wasnt anything that could be done about the noise. The toilet backed up and I called the front desk for a plunger to be sent to the room as I just got out of the shower and was told I had to come down to get it it. The next night was worse than the first. The clerk lied to me and told me the hotel was full and I couldn't be moved, then I was given a room on the third floor where she told me there was only 3 rooms filled. Then in the middle of the night several people stood outside my door talking very loudly and had a crying baby. Lastly, someone rang my room at 11pm and then someone opened my door at 0500L.

Location was convenient and secure. Parking plentiful and convenient. Room was quiet and slept well with a comfortable mattress. Met my most basic needs and amenities which was reflected in the price. No great expectations initially, again reflected in the price but a couple of pesos could be paid and spent to cover the negatives.

The smell of the chemicals was really bad and had a super hard time opening our room door.

The hotel was clean and generally well-kept, which I appreciated. However, there were a few disappointing aspects during my stay. The shower water never got warm and remained cold, the towels were very thin, and there were no complimentary toiletries like shampoo. Breakfast wasn’t offered either—just free coffee. Overall, while the cleanliness was a plus, I feel the hotel could improve the basic amenities to provide a more comfortable experience.

Great stay. Quiet and peaceful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic if you are looking for a safe haven and cleanliness for your family and kids. Allowances for pets, though I didn’t specify amounts. You will be glad you chose them.

Felt safe. Rooms clean and fairly comfortable. TV and microwave and fridge worked well. Good bathroom supplies. Staff very very nice.

Check-in was good. Parking was plentiful. The room was very dirty and needed lots of cleaning. There were toe nail clippings and trash along the bed and filth near wall baseboards. We didn't even complete our stay. We left after a couple of hours when we pulled the sheets down and there was long, dark hair on the sheets (As if they weren't changed from the previous stay). Disgusting place.

First floor has a real bad odor of cigarettes with yellow walls. Second floor needs new carpet due to it having stains & they need more lighting in the hallway. It feels like a scary movie. Rooms are decent but need more lighting in there to. They need a lot more cameras outside due to my truck getting broken into. SMH

No coffee maker, but there was a fridge & microwave. Lady at desk very rude when we arrived back at 11:30pm, wouldn’t let us in the front door and made us walk around to the side door (which didn’t work) so had to walk to the rear of the property. Not a big deal, but it was just myself and teenage daughter and seemed unnecessary.

Its a good hotel for the price you pay. We stayed 4 nights & it worked for our needs. The smell of cigarette smoke & weed was not a great accommodation though. Im talking about the whole hallway reeked of it.

I tried to leave my things at the room before I went to work but the room key would not work. As a result i had to put my things back in my trunk and go on to work. After work it still wouldn't work. I had to go back to the front desk and the clerk reprogrammed it but again it wouldn't work.

booked a 2 night stay for a job I had right down the road, 1st night I checked in and the room smelt strong of cigarette smoke, it was already pretty late at night to tell the young front desk girl when she probably couldn’t do anything until morning anyway. I went to HEB to buy air fresheners and fabric freshener to hold off the smell till morning (it didn’t) the next morning before my ER shift I went down to ask for a new room where the housekeeper responded to be with “I cleaned that one yesterday and it didn’t smell like smoke” with a little more convincing I was able to get moved to a new room. The man was nice about it and apologized I was able to get moved into a not smoke smelling room. The motel looked nice on the outside but the inside is definitely dated. I won’t be staying here again but for the price you get what you pay for.

The room was a typical Motel 6, basic, a little worn; but clean and inexpensive. This one had the loudest refrigerator. We had to unplug it to hear the TV.

Was not told till I checked in that I was required to give a 50 deposit. Also they do not have access to a plug near the bedto charge phone.

It has what I need; comfortable, clean, shower, television, is conveniently located and inexpensive.

Quick few hour stay on way home from longer trip. Good price for what was needed.

Bedsheets smelled funny and halls smelled like smoke when hotel room was supposed to be smoke free, also towels were dirty. And at night when we were trying to sleep there was too much noise. We had to knock on the wall to tell them we were trying to sleep at 2 almost 3 in the morning, so annoying. Never again, apart from that a $50 deposit that it didn’t state when I booked it.

Toilet didnt flush and horrible smell plus got charged extra $50 at the front desk that i haven’t received back, its been a week.

Few hours stay on route to a farther destination. Served it's purpose and value for money.

I didn't like that they charged me an additional $50 for (deposit ) . I still haven't gotten it back. I only stayed for 3 hrs. I just needed to rest a little.

I liked that it had side door access to the parking lot with the key card. The ice machine worked wonderfully. The room was clean and I liked the television being mounted on the wall. I was a little disappointed that they provided coffee, The management were professional and accommodated my needs.

The door keys stop working after a few use. No shampoo or hairdryer, which i should have read the small prints before I booked.

Great place if your on a budget and just need a place to spend a night or two.

This is the second time that I’ve stayed here and it’s been good and quiet.

Air conditioner was super loud, I needed earplugs to get any sleep. Vending machines are cash only. Pool is across the parking lot with no shade available. Room was clean enough, but I would only stay there again if I absolutely HAD to.

The room itself was overly spartan and uncomfortable, with absolutely no amenities.

Took the wife and or two dogs Harley and Vegeta for a litte 3 day stay cation. The service was great the young lady at the front desk was very helpful and kind. Made sure we had a clean room, fresh towels, the shower was amazing, great pressure, nice and quiet, restaurants, stores, shopping and grocery close by pet friendly at no charge. The beds are so comfortable.They even have room service. I am definitely going back. Loved the experience, great staff nice people, good location.

The hotel was terrible. Leak in bathroom, refusal to fix. Plus lots of noise and fighting outside room. Manager was not willing to fix or refund when trip was cut short due to all the issues.

The beds smell like dogs and they are burn from cigarettes smell not safe for kids people live there and sell drugs in the rooms was able to see that complain to property manager ac unit wasn’t working and needed more towels and was not provide with it and it stinks in there not wats shown in the pictures false advertisement

Always friendly

After asking for extra pillows or blankets, both him and his assistant told me that they don’t have NONE! I find it absolutely impossible for them not to have blankets or sheets. How are you even running a hotel without blankets or sheets.

The amenities were sparse. No breakfast options, the room had no shampoo and little things like that. Very basic. But the bed was comfortable.

The people running the hotel were very nice and accomodating.

I didn't see any insects as others may have mentioned and with my noise nachine, I didn't hear any other occupants; quiet overall. Parking lot very well lit, so felt safe. And with pretty much black-out curtains, outside lights weren't a bother. Didn’t swim, but pool looked very clean. They could have swept better, but not that big of a deal. Its an older motel, kept clean, but no real restoration necessarily. Mini fridge and microwave and clean sheets and wifi. Did laundry, worked, $2 per machine. Wouldn't mind coffee being available 24/7 though. Why not?

The front desk clerk was very friendly. The rooms are good for the price. The walls were thin so you could hear people in the hall but we brought a fan so it drowned out the noise.
