The room wasn't cleaned well. The floors were dirty. Yes the AC worked, it was just really loud. The TV was damaged. I wasn't impressed with the place at all. Definitely will not be going back

Location at city center I initially found one roach and killed it. I then saw the dirty walls in the restroom which were missing the trim at the bottom. The old toilet had stains no amount of scrubbing can take out. The tub was worse, it had black mold all around it, the mat in the tub looked disgusting as it was extremely dingy and also black with mold. When it was time to shower, I got in and moved the shower curtain, there was 5 roaches on it. The restroom door had a hole the size of a baseball with a roach crawling out of it. There was an extension cord with lots of black mold near the "clean" towels. The bed was old and lumpy, the pillows flat with dirty pillow cases. The fire alarm was missing from room 141. Never again will we book this hotel. A roach followed us home in one of our bags. No human deserves to be offered a stay at that horrible place. It makes Booking.com look bad for offering such a place. It was not the most expensive but it was far from cheap. It was definitely not worth the $77 for the night.

The homeless next door at the McDonalds store could be problematic. I had one woman tapping on my window asking for money because she was hungry. I understand the plea for hunger but it was late at night, nobody else was around, and it was a little unnerving. The staff would be good to hire security at night.

As soon as we got there the key did not work to the room I went several times to replace key and finally towards the end it worked The pool was not available due to cleaning The place needs a lot of work The room smelled funny.

Pool wasn’t ready to use, ice machine broken, air didn’t work, bugs in the room, and brown stains on pillows and sheets.

The room was in poor condition. Definitely needs a paint job and the bathroom should also be redone.

While the staff was nice, the hotel itself was a major letdown. The photos online must be from many years ago because they are very misleading. The property is currently in a state of disrepair and the cleanliness was unacceptable. The vibe of the location and the building felt very sketchy and uninviting. It was definitely not a comfortable or pleasant environment, but was close to the Alamodome.

It was ok for just a place to stay the night.

First and last time we stay here the room had a dead roach under one of the beds, it had no microwave no refrigerator and no hair dryer. I was very disappointed we even had to buy raid to kill the roaches that would come in.

Not a good location

The pictures in the Expedia site are nothing to be compared to. The hotel is rundown and in very poor condition. We got there at 7pm, and at 5am I was up booking another hotel. I thought it looked very decent so my kids would know how a motel looks like and it was a very poor choice of a motel 6 to have been chosen. I am very upset that I spent the money i spent on this rundown motel , but I would’ve been more disappointed if I had stayed another minute.

If you need a budget hotel close to river walk, your better off with red roof inn. This is the worst motel 6 i have ever stayed at.

It's an older property but it is pretty clean. The lady at the front desk is stern but nice. ;-)

It was so awful and nasty I slept on top of the blankets with my head on a bag not the nasty pillow that wasn't washed.

Everything was perfect nice motel for the price.

They were closed. They were not taking reservations so we did not stay there.

The rooms need upgrades big time, bad tub stain not clean, AC unit was noisy. Hair in the toilet.

It was located in the homeless area. The staff wasn't that friendly and the room wasn't clean even when we first checked in.

Bathroom door was broken. TV was missing remote so couldn’t even watch TV. Was not pleasant to sleep.

Although I reserved a non smoking room the room reeked of smoke, the smoke alarm was removed from its place on the wall and sat next to the TV but did not function. The bathroom door was missing a knob, did not close and was marred with gouges, the white walls splattered with unknown filth, the ice maker and pool non functioning. Its advertised proximity to The Alamo was very inaccurate not within walking distance as advertised.

Ive stayed here a few times before. But this time the rooms were extremely dirty. Bugers smeared on the wall, old dried spit that ran down the walls. The faucets in the shower was very loose and there appeared to be black mold on the wall. I usually stayed there because its a short walk to The Alamo and to Market Square, but i really feel the owners could give it a touch up, and focus on good housekeeping.

There is no handicap parking anywhere near the accessible room we were given. There was a ramp but had to park very far way.

Considering the price point, this motel 6 met all the expectations. The room and bed were clean enough and the AC was working well for my unit. Parking is available in front of units. I arrived there late in the evening and the host was available and greeted. Had a good stay.

The room was decent for what I paid in the area I stayed. Right down the street from the Riverwalk and market Square so it was convenient. There was construction while I was there which made navigating a little more difficult. Overall, the room was OK and clean. The bed is not so comfortable, but like I said for the price, it was nice.

Decent cheap place to stay close to downtown SA area if you're on a budget. Only qualm I have is that their key card stopped working after 1 night of staying there. They reprogrammed it and told us to not let it touch your phone. I understand how it can have an effect but most hotel key cards are pretty resistant to electric or magnetic interference from my experience staying at other hotel/motels. I advise fixing the key card issue.

We stayed there for 3 days and didn’t get room service or trash taken out nor clean towels. When I called they said I could go get towels.

The area is not safe. The room was not up to standard: it was dirty, the tables were falling apart, the tub was dirty, the walls are not clean either, and if I were Expedia, I would remove it from the list of options. The only reason we decided to stay is that we were out of time to find another place, and we are staying only for one night. Additionally, I noticed that they charged me three times, even though my brother's card was used and he paid for it himself. Had a poor experience.

The building is very old & has not bee maintained well over the years. Many things are in desperate need of repair.

They need to be removed from you website, they give Expedia a bad name. Asked for security deposit when room was already paid for. Paid $20 extra for a room with a fridge. Room did not have one. Room smelled musty and dirty like it had been recently flooded. Phone did not work in the room. Contacted Expedia and they were able to have the room switched out, but the new room wasn't much better. The toilet was very loud and hinky and the shower was dirty.

This was my first time at this place. The location is ok, on the 35 access road near Commerce. My previous stays at a Motel 6 have been good. This stay was not good. Initially, the room was freezing. I asked the front desk person to have someone looking at it. Twice. When I returned for the evening, the AC was running, a lot less cooler. I myself cannot sleep unless it's quiet in the room. Normally, I could have adjusted it myself. The temperature controls were broken. I was not thrilled about that. The room itself was a good size. It could have accommodated a small fridge and microwave. The wifi worked fine, but not the tv. No signal. There is a McDonald's next door, but it is in an area with a homeless problem. I learned my lesson. I see no reason to return ever again.

Hotel was close to downtown attractions, dinning and bars. Easy to get a cab. McDonald’s across the street. There is homeless behind the property, but they don’t bother you. There is a fence that blocks off the property. Brought my car and it was safe. Price was cheap. Room was not a 5 star room but you get what you pay for. I would go back.

The lady at the desk was so nice. Our room was clean but it definitely had the damp, musty AC smell that permeated everything, and the shower had mildew or mold in a few places. The sheets and pillows were clean but felt damp I'm assuming bc of the AC, and the beds were not comfortable at all. They seemed like pull out couch beds. Fortunately we were there for only one night and didn't do anything that required us to use the shower, and I can survive one night of sleeping on a bad bed.

Last stay here was a year ago..At that time hotel needed upgrade their facilities. This stay was perfect! Room looked like it had been renovated. Very clean!

For the price it was well worth the cost, the main issue me and my friend had was that the doors are not completely sealed, and with us being right by the stairs it was really easy to hear people while we tried to sleep

Lack of toiletries in bathroom, good thing we brought our own Shampoo/conditioner, body wash. No tissues, No Iron/Ironing board, no hairdryer, no coffee pot, no microwave or refrigerator. Overall room was spacious and big.

Lack of hot water, leaky tub, defective a/c unit(hot air), broken smoke detector, wonky tub faucet/ shower head and handles, faulty laundry appliances (clothes were still dirty, Tide pod was still whole after cycle, dryer didn’t heat/dry clothes, Ice machine needs cleaning

The front desk person looked upset when he had to get off his phone and computer to check me in. I know his family probably owns the property but be a little more friendly to your customers.

I have been staying at the Motel 6, Market Square, for a good while. There customer service are very welcoming, very nice persons, their rooms are very clean, beds very comfortable.

The employees were helpful and kind. The room I had was just fine . It's a bit in a rough area but being in walking distance to river walk and the Market square was worth it if you can't afford the nice places. My boyfriend and I slept great , the bed wasn't uncomfortable. A small bathroom but we just stayed one night!
