The room was exceptionally clean and the staff extremely helpful. I was celebrating an anniversary and they made sure to include a thoughtful note and gift for our arrival.

Best hotel experience I have ever received. My wife and why have had multiple conversations about the quality of service.

From check-in to check-out, our stay at the Mokara Hotel & Spa was simply amazing! The staff was pleasant, polite, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Our room was absolutely beautiful, spotless, and fully stocked with all the amenities we needed. Room service was prompt, and I especially loved that they served brunch. I’m definitely not a morning person, so I didn’t have to feel guilty about sleeping in and worrying that I had missed breakfast! 😊 As wonderful as everything else was, the spa was definitely the highlight of my stay! My massage therapist, Caesar, was absolutely amazing, one of the best massages I’ve ever had! I would definitely recommend the Mokara Hotel &

I'm so glad we found this gem! It's a Boutique style Hotel with all the Amenities. We were treated so well by everyone. The room was spacious and house keeping made our beds and refilled our towels. Anytime we had a question, needed something or simply walked by the staff was there to help. My kids loved the fresh cookies and apples next to the elevator. They have valet parking as the hotel is within walking distance of everything! The Rooftop pool and hot tub were perfect. The hotel has a Rooftop Cafe and Bar as well as a restaurant downstairs which we enjoyed.

My dad and aunt and uncle also stayed at the hotel and raved about it endlessly and have promised to stay there again (we will as well!). The rooms were gorgeous, well appointed, and clean. Very comfortable beds and I loved the toiletries. The valet staff and front desk were on top of everything. We had to leave stupid early every morning and they had our vehicle ready and waiting for us every single time we needed it. And the cookies!! Yum!! And thanks for all the cold waters. And I have to mention how awesome the showers were!! Best water pressure in a hotel ever. Access to the Riverwalk made exploring what San Antonio has to offer easy.

I grew up in San Antonio and was in town visiting family during my stay. It's been a long time since I've ventured into the touristic heart of my hometown, let alone stayed there, but I'm very glad I gave Mokara a chance. Everything about my stay at Mokara impressed me. I think a good hotel is one where things just feel easy and effortlessly comfortable, and the Mokara staff accomplishes that objective with aplomb. From the front desk to the valet counter to the restaurant staff, everyone seemed to somehow know my name from the moment I arrived. Requests were accommodated promptly, accurately and with a smile. Further, lots of little details were present that I would normally only expect at a higher price point. One nice example: the ice bucket in my room was always filled with fresh ice whenever I returned. It's a small thing, but it suggests a high level of overall attention to detail and care for the guest experience. The unexpected interior design eschews the usual sleek, contemporary feel embraced by most new-ish upscale hospitality venues and leans into a warm, traditional aesthetic reminiscent of some of San Antonio's vaunted older hotels. It works surprisingly well. The feeling is unpretentious and rooted in regional vernacular, but without feeling like an "Old West" cartoon. In general I found this hotel understated, relaxed (and relaxing), and very comfortable. I'll be back.

Room was spacious and clean, nice be & pillows, but some of the towels and bath mats were pretty worn for such a nice hotel. Fitness Center and roof top pool were very nice.

Beautifully appointed and a great location right on the river walk. I didn’t use the spa services but I peeked in and it was clean and had a luxury look. The bathtub in the room was so nice to have. They will even draw the bath for you! There is nothing I didn’t like.

I love this hotel in the San Antonio Riverwalk. The rooms are beautiful, and the service is everything I expect when I'm away from home. I highly recommend it.

Everything was good except the amenities. Not clean at all for the women’s side and to many people in one location.

Amazing service. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay amazing. The spa was a nice retreat after a busy day. Location was also perfect. Definitely worth every penny.

I didn’t see any pets….the staff was beyond excellent..like they all need a raise because of how great they were….room was excellent….everything was awesome 👏 and I will be returning!!

As nice as having separate spa facilities is, a little redundant if the everyone is wearing swimwear. At this point the change rooms/showers could be separate and joint spa facilities.

This is one of the best hotels in the area—wonderful staff, super friendly, and great customer service. My family and I really enjoyed it.

Mokara is a fabulous hotel to stay at if you’re looking for something relaxing, rejuvenating, and a staff that caters to your every need. The spa services were top notch. Jessica was amazing, and I can’t wait to return in the future for another massage and body scrub!

Hotel is pretentious and overpriced. Was told I could check-in at a certain time. When I arrive to the hotel after that time they told me the room still wasn’t ready. I spent $1800 for two nights you think you’d get better customer service than that. Wasn’t offered complimentary wine service like I saw the other guests getting. Valets weren’t very friendly and seemed bothered the one time I asked them to get my truck for me. I’d look for other more affordable options on the Riverwalk before I stayed here again.

Loved the location, but our balcony room looking out over the Riverwalk wasn't ready when we tried to check in at 4:50pm. The excused was that we had a balcony room. So i guess the best & most expensive rooms are cleaned last? We were told it was being inspected by mgt. Then made to wait 20 more mins while they checked ppl in and out. I finally had to interupt then to get our rook key. So frustrating....

We were really blown away by the Mokara. The staff from concierge to valet to spa to housekeeping could not have been more lovely. The room was wonderful as well, although the room heat didn't seem responsive on our last day (it was November and maybe the hotel heat wasn't turned on yet?). The bed was stupendously comfortable (to the point where we looked it up). We didn't realize we got spa access with the room - that alone is a HUGE bargain. Yes, the valet is expensive but there are in/out privileges and in the end we were happy we paid for it. The location is amazing, especially if you are overlooking the riverwalk.

It was an annual birthday visit. Prosecco and a nice dessert plate waited in our room. We sat on the balcony and watched the riverwalk boats amble by while enjoying our wine that evening. Our room was clean, the staff is always wonderful, new soaker tub in the bathroom is amazing. It is a treat we look forward to every year—and we have never been disappointed!

Ate brunch at Ostra and it was really good. Rooms were clean. We had a balcony with river view and enjoyed our coffee from there. The complimentary fruit plate delivered to our room was such a nice unexpected touch!

Very nice hotel and spa, located right by the Riverwalk. Spa is fantastic and had probably one of the best massages ever there. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are great. Rooftop pool and hot tub were very nice. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

My family and I stayed for a family getaway and were completely impressed by the hotel. It was conveniently located on the Riverwalk and loved the local restaurants. The service of the staff was TOP NOTCH!

We did not have a balcony. The beds were not big enuff for 2 average people they were very small. When asked do r better view I was told they didn’t have one.

This was a wonderful location along the river walk. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcome. They really tried to make your stay special. The only thing we didn’t like was that the air conditioning could not keep up with the heat and and also construction was going on and woke us up every morning.

Customer Service is second to none. Location, internal restaurants, and deck top pool were awesome.

I had an amazing stay and will 100% be back soon!
