No pool. Going renovations. Room had mold on walls; roaches and some lights did not work. Remote control for TV was broke.

Would not come back. You get what you pay for. Maintenance of property and rooms was very poor, did not feel safe checking in or staying the night. Roach made it into my room lowkey but could’ve just been weather bringing bugs out. Room got cleaned pretty quickly when I left for day so that was nice. Staff was not very helpful but nice.

The location itself is great for anyone wanting to visit the base. The facility is literally falling apart, the outlets didn't work except for 2 of them, the shower leaked from the ceiling when someone showered upstairs, the pool was empty, and we had to share our room with German cockroaches.

The room itself was also very disappointing. The towels were not clean and had brownish-yellow stains, making it seem like they hadn't been changed properly. The room was missing part of the ceiling, and I saw several roaches during my stay. The front desk staff were friendly and courteous, but unfortunately, the condition of the hotel did not meet my expectations. I hope these issues are addressed so future guests have a better experience.

They didn't let me in when I already I was pride with Expedia and I already have all the necessary my id my reservation number , confirmation everything they just don't want my family there I call all the support and after 40 minutes waiting for my room they don't recognize my reservation so I have to pay another hotel room at the nigh in a unknown place just waiting for my refund . In the end they said that the hotel change the name that's why the reason but I already was there with all paid !! Horrible experience!! Don't go there ?!

What was expected was satisfying: housekeeping, and maid service. Disappointed there was no hot water at the sink. The swimming pool was not kept up and the ground were in need of service.

The posting for this hotel is extremely deceiving. The room was filthy, had unacceptable "fixes" done to previous damage, missing smoke alarms, exposed wiring, dirty walls, dirty floors, the list goes on and on. Do not waste your time booking this hotel.

I liked that I brought my own blanket and was able to roll up in it to avoid touching bedding. I was able to sleep and that was all I wanted and the Mexican restaurant next door was quite to my liking stains that may not have been stains but fresh soil

Black mold in the bathroom, ceiling tiles buldging and falling apart. The front desk agent at night was passed out when I went for assistance due to noise at 1am and two people sleeping in their car outside of my room. Left a day early due and was told I would be refunded(video evidence) The hair dryer cord was pieced together, wasn't going to risk trying it. I recommend going anywhere else.

This is the MOST DISGUSTING place I’ve ever seen in my entire life! I can’t even believe Expedia offers this rat trap as an option for lodging on their website. It is INFESTED with roaches. It is falling apart in every way imaginable. The pictures are NOTHING like the actual facility. Prison is cleaner than this place. Travelers beware - DO NOT BOOK YOUR STAY HERE!

Room was disgusting, dirty and broken in so many places so much so we had to find a last minute stay I could not stay there with my family. there was no refund either the hotel would not answer Expedia. Thank goodness we were able to stay at the hotel on base.

There were roaches in the room. Holes in the wall. The remote was missing a battery, I had to change the tv manually. Not all the plugs worked. The hot water was not working when I moved the handle to the red line.

The room has cochroach fecesvall over the bathroom. The bathroom cei8ling is falling in. Looks like they r trying to fix stuff.....not ok, thou. The hottub had nasty green mildew water rightnext to the pool. The pool was ok, but not really clean. The whole motel is dirty and falling apart.

That said, the bed was comfortable, the AC worked great, and the location can’t be beat—less than 100 yards from the Air Force Base gate. It’s fine for a solo traveler on a budget, but I definitely wouldn’t bring family here.

The rooms need to be painted and the pool area needs to be cleaned as there was broken glass everywhere.

We got there and nothing was working… ceilings and walls rotting….. We had to change three rooms before finally getting one with all the stuff it was supposed to have and actually cleaned… gap under enterance door which caused the second night of no sleep for me and my kids because cockroaches crawled and and up the wall…and it was so nasty we decided to sleep in the rental car…. Never again will I stay at another one of these OYO “Hotels” again…… they need to change the name to roach Motel…. Not even close to a hotel…….no water in the pool…. No free breakfast like it said….. And the pictures on the site are really old or they stole photos from another place… absolutely disgusting….

The worst experience of my life. This place is unsanitary and unsafe for anyone especially traveling with children! Shut this place down!!! I had no hot water , holes in the wall, roaches, no working smoke detector, HORRIBLE!!

Just needed a shower and sleep for golf game next day. That’s what I got after I switched rooms. The first room shower head would barely work. The pool and hot tub were empty and no breakfast was available other than coffee. I booked this room for hot tub and breakfast and got neither. Area shady, loud music, doors open people hanging out. The price was low for a reason. You get what you pay for…..

I wouldn't offer this place up for one night to a homeless man.

The only good thing is very close to Air Force Base. This is a one time business type hotel. If you need to go to Air Force base for the event, please choose other places.

Well tris is the worst hotel experience is my life so disappointed first I feel discriminated because I couldn’t even stay at the hotel because we forgot my husbands wallet, we drove 5 hours and I wasn’t going to go back and get it, I had mine I don’t see why there was a problem for them to check us in when I had mine and I read the policy and it says that I just needed to have a id and a credit card plus the deposit which I had that, I didn’t get my money back and I feel that is not fair that even though I couldn’t stay there I didn’t get to get my money back, never staying in one of y’all’s hotels any more and I’m going to share this experience so they know y’all are

This hotel should be condemned, roch, phones didn’t work, first was totally un sanitary, second room flooded from the celling soaked my bed and floors, third room was the same as the first; worst stay ever!!! Totally disappointing!!

It was dirty, ceiling tiles were stained and falling, no refrigerator, air conditioner didn't work, continental breakfast area was disgusting, pool was a mud puddle. The gray paint of the building was depressing. Our reservation requested 1 king size bed, they did not have any. This facility was dangerous and unsafe. We did not stay there. Shame on Expedia for such deceiving photos of the hotel!

Property owner brother Gary is rude and disrespectful. Called me a lier and tried to throw me out due to me having a service dog. Asked for papers which are against the law. He needs to learn the law due to service dogs.

This is the nastiest and unsafe place I have ever encountered. It was full of roaches, holes all over the walls, the ceiling was falling down.

It was clean, just old. Fine for our needs. Just to sleep. Beds comfortable and clean.

This place need to be demolished, and reconstructed as new floors and ceilings almost falling off city inspector needs to heck this place out,sticky linen on bed and sofa ,toilet not working ,unlevel flooring.

The staff was extremely courteous, but the place is ran down and its surrounding area is also ran down... But if you want a close place to lay your head down for your Childs graduation from the airforce this place is walking distance from the base...OTHERWISE, its a roach motel.

The room was horrible, ceiling tiles seemed ready to fall off, restroom floor was coming up, the bathtub was patched up, towels did not look clean. Tv service was bad and cable for tv was coming out from a lifted ceiling tile.

The room definitely needs a remodel (to be expected at the price), but is was clean and the beds are very comfortable. All the staff I interacted with was very friendly and attentive.

The motel is directly next to the Lackland AF gate. This place looks horrible. We book it online due to it closeness to the base. When you arrive won’t believe how run down this place is. Looks like the hotel on the tv show “FROM” save yourself time and money chose a better place to stay, listen to me now or believe me later 😟

The room is not as it appears in the photos... the parking lot is locked after hours preventiing you from entering and leaving the property...

This is probably one of the worst properties I've ever stayed at in my entire life it is literally falling apart we got there the man that I spoke to told me that they would cancel my reservation but apparently that was a lie..

This hotel was exactly what we needed it for. A place to sleep, shower and rest. This is not a luxury hotel where you want to sit and hang for hours, its the most basic place. They are doing renovations so some of the hotel things are rough. Doors sticking, shower heads not connected. I communicated with the front office and everything was fixed asap. We did book a king room, and they didnt have any so when we checked in got into a double, they moved us quickly to a queen/double but be aware you need to communicate if something is wrong. Also tjere was a weird 50$ cash deposit due at check in.....not a deal breaker but weird.

The room was not mopped. Dead roaches laying in the corners. In the middle of the night live once where walking on the wall. The sheets on the bed looked clean, even the converter had stains on the underside. Pillows had stains too.

I chose this hotel because of how close it was to Lackland Air Force Base. The staff were great and they cleaned the room every day. The price was also perfect.

As for staff, they violated a rule regarding service animals as they demanded to see my dog’s certification. Additionally, the STILL charged me a $50 deposit for the dog and wanted cash. THEN upon check out, I was asked it I had smoked in the room before refunding my $50 and I do not smoke. It’s an older motel and extremely convenient if on has a son or daughter graduating basic training ceremonies or visiting military family members. It is also walking distance to HEB which has an excellent deli selection as well as anything else you may need. The room served it’s purpose; however, I won’t rebook.

We liked the affordable rates and that it was close to everything we needed. We didn't like the noise from other people through the walls at night, lots of slamming doors, cursing and yelling. We didn't like that the place seems to be falling apart.. it just needs a little TLC. Cracks in the ceiling and walls, paint scrapped off doors and walls, overhead vent in bathroom falling down, big gap under front door that let heat in and cool air out. Just needs a bit more work.

The staff is very attentive. Eager to help with any questions I had. The housekeepers were amazing, such a down to earth family atmosphere filled with playful grace. I felt very comfortable right from the start. Fit right in. Tysm!

Room was pretty bad got there and it was so hot we had to leave the room for 2 hours before it cooled down enough to be inside . Bathroom door was only on one hinge walls and floors were dirty . Double room but only had one set of towels

The place is completely disgusting! The room smelt like urine as soon as we walked in. The shower didn’t work and AC wasn’t cool. As soon as we got there, we packed everything back up and booked at a different place. Best decision was not staying there.

This OYO is not modern nor kept up. The room was dirty, had broken furniture, and smelled moldy. We gave the employee back the card key, told them we would like to cancel, and found another hotel. Booked through Expedia. The hotel insists we stayed there and refuses to refund the money.

Convenience to the Air Force Base

To be frank, the facilities cannot hide their age. The door didn't open unless I pushed it with a lot of force, and at first I thought the lock was broken and wouldn't open. The floor was corrugated and the electrical outlet was burnt and misshapen. I didn't have any complaints because the cost of accommodation was cheap, but my wife was a little disappointed. Personally, I like that there are many friendly cats in the neighborhood.

When I arrived there was a note on the door saying, be back in 5 minutes. I waited 20 minutes. The guy at the front desk told me they require a $100 cash deposit. Not mentioned anywhere. The shower didn’t have hot water.

I liked that it was very close to the base. I did not like that i killed 3 cockroaches while staying there and that there was no hot water.

I was going to stay for 4 nights but I got bed bug bites the first two nights so I moved to a different hotel. Roaches were crawling in the bed and restroom. When I talked to the management about it, He denied having them, until I showed him the video of them crawling on the bed.

There was roaches crawling on my neck and legs while I was trying to sleep and also there’s no water pressure at all in the room I stayed at room 119 and literally turning on the a/c mini split there was roaches crawling out if you stay here just remember to bring roach killer
