Was told by another guest that this is a very Historic hotel....while the room seemed clean there was only one bulb in the 4 light fixture in the bathroom, the tub seemed to have been relined but was flaking. Very basic room, mini fridge that froze my iced tea and lemonade, did not use the microwave, no coffee maker in room not sure if they offered in the small office but check in clerk was very abrupt, hard to understand and a bit rude so I did not go back in until checkout time. Check out clerk seemed friendlier. My only encounter with housekeeping was the morning after the first night, she asked if I was checking out or staying and she asked if I needed anything when i said staying. Overall would say I might stay again as is close to many of San Antonio's attractions but is more affordable than many others in the immediate area and having self parking for 10 a night was very reasonable. If you are wanting a hotel with amenities this is not it but is a decent room to spend a night or two. Air conditioning was not on in room when I arrived but the AC did work well and cooled off pretty quickly and kept the room comfortable and that is saying something for July in San Antonio.

You get what you pay for. It was definitely a place to sleep-which is what we needed. However, the air conditioner did not consistently blow cold air. In the middle of July, in central Texas, A/C is a basic necessity. I think I personally slept 2 hours at the most, at one point I absolutely needed to get away from my husband (who runs hot) and went and sat in the bathtub just to feel the coolness of the plastic. I will say, this place is located practically downtown and we were unable to hear any of the sounds of the city nightlife in our room. The staff was nice and parking is only $10-so that’s a plus.

Not properly cleaned and maintained, need to have new towels and sheets. Very convenient and good location.

You'll enter a sketchy place that doesn't have an attendant until you ring a bell. The person checking you in will not know about your reservation, be slow, and not very friendly. You'll discover to add parking, they need to charge you $10. The place looks really filthy both inside and outside. The inside lighting is really dim and creepy. All that being said, the location is amazing! You're basically right there in King William which is easy walk to restaurants and River Walk, etc.

I noticed in both the bathroom and the main room insects, probably roaches that were very active.

We were happy with this little inn. The place is definitely old, but well maintained and our room was very clean. The parking lot was small and could be an adventure for larger vehicles. It was $10 to park, which was good. Staff were friendly. It was in walking distance to the Alamodome, but it was summer in Texas, so we were hot and sweaty when we got there and then back after the concert.

The no-breakfast policy was as expected; the $10 parking fee was not. Room was clean but spartan. The sheets smelled freshly laundered with a hint of bleach. Easy check in and out!

The wifi was slow. I liked that there were many restaraunt near

Parking was secure but very tight. Hard to get my SUV in. Really need smoking room option. Great coffee shop 25 yards away. Room was very nice.

This is a budget property, so set expectations there. Parking was $10, and was fine. It was empty at check-in, but completely full by 7pm. The room was OK, with a fridge, microwave, and TV with cable and wifi. It also had a nice sized couch and the bed was comfy enough. What was really nice is this is a short walk from EVERYTHING. The Riverwalk, Alamo, and observation tower were about 10 minutes away. It's located in a mid-upscale area, which is kind of rare for a budget hotel like this. I was able to go see all the sights, food, and ice cream without any issue of feeling unsafe, etc. The crosswalks all work, there are lots of people walking dogs, other tourists etc in the area at all hours. This worked out better than I expected. Just remember this is a budget hotel. The staff I interacted with were incredibly friendly and had no problem with me parking there several hours before check-in so I could walk down to the Alamo.

The only good thing I can say is great location other than that we had to go buy pillows a blanket towels and toilet paper for our 5 day stay plus when I asked for a Iron I was told they didn't have one then as we are walking down the hall way we look in a room that door was open and there sat a ironing board and Iron.
- 5/5
Loved the location, clean room, cheap stay, friendly staff
- 5/5
My stay was as expected for the price point. The room was prepared, ac/heat worked, facility was fully operational, check-in and parking were fine. There were no insects. This hotel is clearly not an average hotel if you look at reviews and photos so understand that by staying here you get what you pay for. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It’s pretty rough but it does the job if you need an inexpensive place to stay close to everything.
- 5/5
Great location
- 3/5
Room smelled like they were covering up mold. Over perfumed. Multiple roaches alive and dead. Pillows very well used, need replaced. Wwird spray paint coloring on wall, covering something up. The quality of the repairs show the effort put into maintaining the property. Yes that's painted over tape in the picture.
- 3/5
Staff was half asleep when I showed up. There was a $10 parking fee. Ad said free parking. Place was old looking unlike the pictures online.
- 1/5
We only had one tissue roll (half used). Water was really bad!! Bath tub- ah, the tap wasn’t working.
- 4/5
The rooms were clean and comfy. I loved that there was no carpet. The price was amazing and it took about 15 minutes to walk to the riverwalk. I felt safe in the neighborhood and they have their own parking that is covered. We came to San Antonio for our anniversary and we will stay here on our future trips.
- 5/5
Everything was a walking distance, I like my staying here.
- 1/5
I liked how close it was to the Riverwalk. Was not impressed with the cleanliness or service. It was was very difficult to communicate with them due to glass being between the customer and people at the front desk. Also it has a pretty bad bug problem. Just a gross place and wouldn’t recommend currently.
- 1/5
Be prepared for rude customers service, not to be allowed visitors clean your own room and children running and playing up and down the hallways all day and night
- 3/5
This wasn’t the best hotel I’ve ever stayed, but it served our purpose and provided a decent place to sleep close to the Riverwalk. Would recommend for a night stay.

Property is tired and worn out but owners try to clean some. Lower your standards for one night and you get cheap hotel close to riverwalk.

It’s very good for the price.

Only room was up a narrow double flight of stairs. Unable to get my stuff up to the room. Oh, well...

This a good spot close to different restaurants bars walking distance. Price is reasonable on hotel hotel I give it a three star ❤️❤️❤️

this is a budget place to stay in a run down motel. It provided the basic amenities and the price was right.
- 4/5
Nice place conveniently located next to nice bars and restaurants. Its economy but comfy beds
- 5/5
Very good value for the cash money

Parking was terrible, traffic thought parking lot was a street. The building & rooms are old and need an upgrade.
- 5/5
Room was very clean. Hotel staff was incredibly nice.

Everything is fine, they just need to add towels to the bathroom.

great location
- 3/5
The room was spartan but clean. The linen had been around the block a couple of time and were somewhat threadbare. It was 0.4 miles from the HG Convention Center and suited by purpose.
- 1/5
The sheets and mattress cover were stained. The towels were stained and had holes. Management (owners) didn't seem to care. There wasn't any water presser at all. Was extremely disappointed with this location. Would have changed but everything in the area was booked!

40 dollars .I told them that it wasn’t me to check the cameras first before making an extra charge . The lady is so rude Please don’t stay in this hotel I’m not recommending to any body this bad experience .
- 5/5
Rooms are a little old and dated but clean for a great price. Feels like you are in a cute little village. Walkin distance to restaurants, bars and Alamodome. A little stingy on there cheap tp, i recommend bring your own roll.
- 1/5
On top of the rude service, we were told that, despite paying for parking, we were still responsible for the safety of our vehicle. When we finally made it to our room, it was dirty. There were crumbs by the TV, an old chocolate milk and socks left behind by the previous guests, and the sheets had stains. There were spots of what it looks like blood on one corner and yellow stains elsewhere. The room was also missing an iron/ironing board, and there was only one trash bin for the entire room, with none in the bathroom.
- 3/5
Room has a large built in window unit that was not on when we entered the room. We checked in at 4:30pm at it was 96 outside, and the room didn’t cool off into the mid 70s until 2 am. Room was finally at a cool temperature in the morning at 11. Room was a good cold temp throughout our second day. First night sleeping was bad but second night was decent. Only got one key card for a room for 4, so that was annoying to get into the room. Also there’s a $10 charge per night for covered parking in their small garage.

My wife had an extremely good time! I believe several people at the veranda of Rosario's could see us since we left the blinds up...

I liked everything.
- 5/5
Clean rooms nice beds. A great low cost option for our circumstances. We were really only in the room to sleep. Bathtub could use a little work.
- 2/5
This property is pretty close to River Walk with very nice restaurants near by. But this one doesn't even have a lobby it is a motel, that's all. Fairly clean room, broken faucet, no clothes closet, ok bedding. All in all a motel that's all. If I wanted to stay and enjoy San Antonio, I'll not be staying here. The staff are pretty courteous no complaints there. I'm would not bring my family to this one.
- 3/5
Person who checked me in tried to convince me I was a day early for my reservation. Had to sho my confirmation before she found it. Was very abrasive. No coffee pot in room. Also is not handicapped friendly. No stopper in tub, I’m a bath gal. Stairway very narrow and straight up almost a ladder. On the positive side, it is located in a historic area. Close to hemisphere tower, the convention center and the river walk. Lots of cafes and bars around it.

Air Conditioner was hardly working, we had to leave and hour after we got there and go somewhere else.

Decent hotel for the price. 2 rooms 2 nights 350$ not bad. Could use some renovating, just used it to sleep. Bare minimums in room which was ok for wife & I. In nicer area of SA. Would stay again.
- 4/5
I liked the affordable price for a room. And cleanliness.
- 1/5
They charge for parking, they're rude, my car got dented because this place really doesn't have a good parking lot. I personally wouldn't recommend it.

It is very close to San Antonio Downtown.
- 3/5
Not friendly at all. Bathroom needs a makeover .
- 2/5
Property is located close to downtown but service is poor. No water, coffee in the room. They charge for parking and hallway smells marijuana all the time.
- 3/5
Hard to park if you have a big truck. $10 charge.
- 2/5
The facilities are usable but poor - though I know it’s a budget hotel. The bedding are dirty - not sure if it was changed since last guest due to there’s hair and many dirty spots. No elevator - lucky I don’t have large suitcases. No facial tissue. The AC is super noise when it operates, as well as the refrigerator. Woke me up many times during the night. I have to had the earplug.
- 5/5
Excellent customer service and wonderful room in a great spot close to restaurants, shops, and downtown.
- 3/5
Stay was great. I give the cleanliness a 4 of 5 star rating. Definitely would stay again.
- 5/5
Much better than expected based on low price. Location is convenient. It met my basic needs
- 2/5
If you're looking for a place to just have a bed and a shower this place is okay. There were roaches little baby roaches as well. The hallways smell like marijuana. Don't think management or owners were too concerned. This spot is walkable to the Alamo, Riverwalk, Hemisfair Park, Etc.
- 3/5
Its really close to food and entertainment. Definitely prime real estate. You get what you pay for. Definitely dont expect any type of luxury. Spacious room but did see roaches.
- 1/5
No hot water.
- 5/5
Area is good, walkable to River center and La Villita area. Hotel was clean and everything worked well. Definitely would recommend.
- 3/5
The floor was dirty and the AC was super loud so we had to ask for a different room. Once we got our new room, things got better. The bed was comfy.
- 2/5
wasn’t told about the $40 deposit, the blankets smelled like they weren’t washed. staff was rude on the phone and seemed like they didn’t know how to do their job. area around the inn is nice but would not recommend staying here.
- 4/5
Modest hotel, but great location; spotless and with a very comfortable new mattress.
- 3/5
The room was clean and beds comfortable. water pressure was good and had plenty of hot and cold water. The air conditioner worked great in our room!! Price was good especially for the location, very convenient. This is a no frills place. You have to climb stairs to get to your room, parking is tight and you are charged $10 a night. Still I would stay again. I only wish they had coffee in the room.
- 5/5
Is a great place to stay at, close enough to a enjoyable walk and with a great price, clean and the people there is nice 🙂
- 2/5
The lady at the front desk was unfriendly and not helpful when it came to answering questions. The overall appearance and condition of the building is shoddy and Third World-looking. It seemed that they squeaked by with the most meager of offerings. Tiny bars of soap as thin as a vanilla wafer. No water in the room in the refrigerator. No way to get water or ice. And they charge for parking on top of the room rate.
- 1/5
The cold water did not function in the bathtub so besides the HOT room we had to take a hot shower.
- 4/5
It was away from the where everything was happening, but close enough to walk to Alamo, restaurants, shop, river boat etc… It’s better to park there since your already paying for parking. Very expensive parking in other areas. I don’t know about night time. Only did sightseeing in day.
- 4/5
Don't expect the Ritz Carlton and you'll be more than satisfied! Friendly staff, great location with multiple food/fun options that are LESS than a 5 min walk from your hotel door. This isn't a $500 a night place so adjust your ideas accordingly based on the VALUE you'll get...and you'll have a great time!
- 5/5
Paid For Parking Because There Was A Big Fiesta Going On All Over San Antonio,Tx
- 5/5
Strongly recommended! Very clean! Will stay again!
- 4/5
Driving to seems like a run down area. Once parked and into hallway way. Definitely a better vibe to stay. When checking in I had to pay $10 for my car to park overnight. Was not expecting that. Room was clean and shower water pressure was amazing. Enjoyed the tv channels as background noise. Could hear only loud people walking the halls. Fridge works very well. Bed was like a cloud.
