This was the perfect place to stay while we were in San Antonio for our daughter's Air Force graduation. We were 8 miles from base, the traffic in the morning wasn't terrible at all! The property itself was very nice! We had stayed in a 2-bedroom so we could have the living room and space for family to gather. The pools & lazy river were wonderful!
- 4/5
The property was beautiful. The room was very comfortable however, I was uncomfortable with the fact that there was about a 3/4 gap between the bottom of the door and the ground which would allow insects to enter. Still, the staff were pleasant and professional and the buildings were all within an easy walking distance to all the outside pools
- 5/5
Beautiful property with tons of amenities! The staff were super helpful and kind. We loved our room - basically a full sized apartment! We will be back!

Very fun time for the family

Alexander from front desk was very helpful! We love his customer service
- 5/5
Everything was amazing, they have absolutely everything you need in the kitchen and there was so much space. Favorite part was the lazy river.
- 3/5
The pool and lazy river were great. The family, adults and kids both loved it. The cabana at the lazy river was great. Ordering food was nice and simple but there just wasn’t enough amenities for a “resort” the one tiny restaurant ran out of things and it was the only option for anything. There was no shop where you could purchase convenience things you might need on a resort stay.
- 5/5
I liked all the amenities.
- 4/5
out rooms. Pools were a big hit. Didn’t try restaurants, too many around San Antonio we wanted to try!
- 5/5
Room and grounds were amazing. Staff was rude and then tried to sell timeshares
- 5/5
So much fun for a family vacation! Incredibly clean and well maintained.

Wonderful property! Immaculate and inviting. We enjoyed everything

Good resort to spend a couple of nights with family with kids. Best part of it is the Lazy River, which is very nice

The property is old but clean. The shower was poor and too hot - the cold water could not keep the shower from getting too hot. There was no room service ( we were there 3 nights) - the electricity for charging my iPhone and I watch did not work and the tv control in the living room didn’t work. The grounds and the staff are nice - the check out is 10:00 1 hour too early - the restaurant ( only 1) is not good - overall over priced for what you get.
- 5/5
Great staff. Serenity was very helpful and will definitely be coming back.
- 5/5
We had a great trip to the Hyatt Vacation Club at Wild Oak. It’s still a timeshare property so you will be invited to a presentation on buying in but was not a requirent. Pool/water slides were a big hit with the kids. Food on site was fine, and very convenient. We got to enjoy the outdoor movie night at the pool as well. Hotel suite layout was ideal for families - plenty of space and privacy.
- 4/5
Room itself was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was nice however catered towards kids as it did not get deeper than 4 foot. The property itself does need more signs to direct people on where to go. They give you a giant map but it can be overwhelming as it is a large area. You are given two paper cards to exchange for pool towels and must turn them in or else charged with a fee. This was the first time I’ve ever had to do that, so it seemed kind of excessive as sometimes one towel for a full day of swimming isn’t enough.

This place was awesome, highly recommend.

The base was really close

The amenities are made the stay amazing. Kids loved the pool and lazy river! The rooms were nothing to write home about. Definitely need some renovation and updating. Lots of water damage evidenced in our rooms/ smelled of smoke. The main bathroom layout was interesting. The shower needed some serious renovation and looked like it was original. The master toilet wouldn’t flush without needing to be plunged. I think you could have done without with the jet tub and just done a larger updated shower and toilet.
- 5/5
We had a great stay and really enjoyed the property. The room was nice, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. My only wish is that there was better handicap accessibility to the pool and lazy river. One of the staff members was kind enough to drive us in a golf cart from our room to the sidewalk, which we really appreciated, but we still had quite a distance to walk from there. Traveling with someone who uses a walker made that part difficult. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again, but improved accessibility to the pool area would make the experience even better for guests with mobility challenges.
- 5/5
The resort was beautiful. Room was very clean and very comfortable. Pool was a lot of fun for the kids. Only 20 min from most of the major attractions in San Antonio. Seaworld was only 5 minutes away.
- 5/5
Place was beautiful and well kept, our room was definitely worth the upgrade. Loved the lazy river, property was well lit at night. JB’s was nice to have on site for food, close to anything you needed and Lackland AFB. We had a two room suite and was just awesome for our family. Would definitely recommend

Stayed 3 days for our daughter’s birthday! Had an absolute blast, close to so many cool San Antonio attractions. Staff was amazing! Highly recommend!!

We stayed in the 2 room villa and it was perfect! It was incredibly family friendly, we all enjoyed it and will be returning soon!

Asked for pull out couch to be set up for our late arrival, and it was not.Tried to call the front desk to ask for help, and the room phone was out of order.... Had to relocate a giant wolf spider out of the room myself, very disturbing thing to do right before trying to lay down. Coffee maker did not work, no bottled water was provided at any time, and by our last day the body wash and conditioner bottles were empty..... Never did find the ice machine as there were no directions other than it's on the 1st floor! For what we paid, plus the additional resort fees they collected for each day I expected allot more. We would have been better off in a regular hotel and taking a day pass to fiesta Texas for what we ended up paying on resort fees above and beyond the fully paid reservation! The staff was very kind but it felt like so many other current events, like the wealthy Hyatt was just nickel and diming us all the way around, providing subpar experience and sleeping arrangements, while they make money hand over fist. Nothing like checking in at 10pm the first day and out at 10am on the final day and still having to pay resort fees for 2 days that weren't even used. And be prepared for them to try to take your time for a time share experience........ Very disappointed.

Will keep coming back love this resort
- 5/5
The resort is very beautiful and the amenities were excellent. My only complaint would be that the elevator was broken so we had to haul all our stuff up the stairs with 2 small children. Other than that minor hiccup everything was great and it's less than 10 minutes from Seaworld
- 3/5
If you compare to hotels of the same, then this is a little down grade and we had roaches
- 5/5
Everything is great but i do believe you should have a second bar open by the lazy river when busy and full.

Had a great stay at Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch. It was our first time with a group of friends and we enjoyed the pool, mini golf, and s’mores. We will definitely come back.

Shampoo dispenser didn't work in master bedroom. Conditioner quality is not so good leave hair dry. Missing lotion in second bathroom.
- 4/5
The location was great and the hotel was nice. The amenities looked great but we didn't have time to use them. However, for the price we paid, I was shocked that the door wasn't properly insulated. We could see light around the door and heard our neighbors when they got back very late and rambunctious. This seems like such a simple fix.

Very relaxing family weekend. Villa was very nice.
- 5/5
Rooms were clean and the kitchen was nicely stocked.

I like the views and hill country. Our room was not ready at the “guaranteed” time. The toilet paper and paper towels were of the cheapest kind and our shower extension arm was broken.

Everything was good. It rained so we didn't get to have as much pool time. More economical food choices would have been great.

First time here we will definitely be back, my family loved it .
- 4/5
My grandchildren had a great time at the pool and the lazy river and participated in all the activities they had a lot of fun. My Daughter was with us had it just been in my Husband and I we probably would’ve had a hard time getting around. But because we were located right across the street. From the activity center it was easy for us to navigate. I will know for next time to ask for the same location. If we would’ve been located anywhere else I’m not sure we would’ve been able to get around to everything. We had a good villa. My only complaint is the food and drinks at the restaurant were not worth the price. Good thing there was a Walmart right down the road just very convenient for us all. We’ll go back and stay again. The villa was very clean and it had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and everything was well maintained.

Customer service was next-to-none. Perfect location for a vacation to San Antonio. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
My first time staying here was absolutely a great experience.
- 4/5
Great room and amenities. Only issue was had to kill a few roaches in our room and the aggressiveness of the timeshare presentation. I would recommend skipping as it took up much more time than advertised.
- 4/5
The beds were great! And the ac and fan worked well which was definitely needed. Overall a great stay, wish we could have stayed longer. The lazy river was my personal favorite, lots of trees to provide shade and the kids loved the waterslides. Food/drink service by the pools wasn’t as expected. We had to go order and get it ourselves and i thought there would be servers, but still enjoyable.

Very small rooms asked about getting a bigger room they said there was nothing left that's about the room next door they said it was already booked but nobody was ever in the room the hot tubs were broken or too hot there's only one washing machine for an entire building and then we have little German roaches in the laundry room and in the room where we were sleeping and they fall on you at night
- 4/5
The only issue was the checkin and checkout. We checked in at 4pm and checked out at 10am it the late and to early not enough time to enjoy everything and for the cost. Everything else was great!

I thought we had booked the Hyatt with the 5acre waterpark water slides blue lagoon. No to my surprise. I thought stand alone villas. No just like regular hotels. The rooms were clean and nice. The beds were not comfy. The minute we pulled in it started raining and everything outdoors was shutdown. They did try to have activities inside for the younger crowd. But very small 1 pool. 1 poolside restaurant. And the view out our balcony was of woods and mud. Needless to say I didn't make it in the lazyriver or the pool 1 time during or trip. Make sure you book the right Hyatt. I definitely dropped the ball on this. I thought there were restaurants, multiple slides, pools, and fun to have. The staff was friendly and it was very clean
- 5/5
I loved our two bedroom villa. We will definitely return.
- 5/5
If you take the family you gotta get the villa. It's a miniature apartment. Full kitchen washer/dryer and a covered patio. Lazy River and pool are great. Poolside service is also available for ordering food. This was a family trip that did not disappoint. A lot of local eateries near the resort. Walmart market within walking distance. A+

Pleasant stay, The property needs to update commodes and showers. Clean large room with good bed linens. Kitchen is efficient & clean.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and nicely laid out, The staff was amazing! Super helpful and responsive. Our granddaughter was stung by a wasp while passing the Armadillo kids daycare and the young lady who was out front responded quickly and very compassionately! She took such good care of her and even offered her some ice cream! Our granddaughter suffered no ill effects from the sting (Thank goodness) and was happy when she left. Lazy river was well-maintained, the grounds are lovely and we had so much fun on the property! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants some fun in the sun!
- 5/5
We had a great stay. The amenities were great with entertainment throughout the day!
- 5/5
Grandkids had fun. Did not realize I was staying in an “apartment complex” instead of traditional hotel. Front desk could do better at pointing out the different amenities. Would like to see more kid activities during the week especially in summer when people are vacationing.
- 5/5
Excellent service, very good installation , clean
- 2/5
The walls were so thin that we could hear the neighbors entire conversation clear as day. Of course they were yelling for hours. I had to call security 2 times and they never showed up! My kid was with me and she shouldn’t have heard all of the disgusting sexual details of a strangers marriage! Because security never showed up, the unhappy couple started yelling as soon as they woke up at 9am!! I told them to move us, then they said security went to check it out but no one was screaming and assumed I was lying! They said this never happens. They moved us to a room next to a family with about 12 ppl in a studio apt. Of course it was loud! Don’t go here if you need rest and relaxation 👎
- 5/5
Very nice. Quiet and all staff very helpful and friendly. The gym, yoga room, pool, and lazy river will match your expectations. Will stay again.
- 5/5
Great family fun
- 4/5
Pool was fun. Need more food choices and better hours. The trash outside the elevator was horrible
- 5/5
Great family resort. The pool areas have something for everybody (lazy river with beach, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, slides, cabanas). Rooms very large and comfortable with kitchen, laundry, and a nice balcony. It is a bit far from San Antonio and the River Walk however we found the climate more comfortable in this part of town.
- 3/5
The putting green was a fun idea, but many of the cups were installed above the surface of the turf, making it impossible for the golf balls to fall into the holes. The front door to our room was very difficult to open because it stuck badly, and the patio door was even worse—it required a strong adult to open and close it. On a positive note, the room was very clean, the lazy river was excellent, and the overall maintenance and appearance of the property were very good.

After I got out of the pool, I started having a rash on my body wouldn’t go away and finally, I put some ointment for the itchy could’ve been from the water being dirty or the too much bleach in the hole is only 3 feet. There’s only a small area that has 4 feet basically for kids. The lazy river is so small as well. Basically for the kids not adults. The day was fine. The room was clean the Stafford nice but just didn’t like the time spending to try to sell horse riding and other activities that are going on there.
- 5/5
Everything was 10/10

Everything was good
- 3/5
We had problems with check in and room was clean, but after being in the room for a few hours a roach appeared out of nowhere. We ended up seeing several throughout our stay. About 2 days into our stay, I had a random charge for $655 charged to my card. Upon calling the front desk, they informed me it was a “mistake” and it would drop off and go back in my account. I made sure to check out at the front desk for a paper receipt to make sure they aren’t trying to steal money from me. Between the bugs and that charge I don’t think we will be back. The property and pool are nice but you can tell it is very old and has been updated slowly. Also, they were doing upgrades on appliances and would put the boxes in the middle of the parking lot so it was hard to manuever around. Definitely could have been handled better.
- 5/5
Elevator so slow
- 1/5
The hotel staff was rude, please be aware the ride height for kids in the slides is 48 inches. They don't tell you that before you book. The lazy river has no height requirement and is riskier than the slides. I drove 4 hours just to be told kids couldn't get on slide. I would definitely not go back to this hotel.
- 3/5
First and foremost, the staff was great. Amenities on property were as described. Property maintenance and upkeep is biggest room for improvement. I will not make a laundry list of issues here, but what you would expect from a place in this price range.
- 4/5
Housekeeping only cleaned once
- 5/5
Had a very relaxing stay with family. The amenities are clean and it was not crowded when we went there. My son really enjoyed the lazy river. The villa is clean, spacious, and have everything you need.
- 5/5
We stayed two nights with our 2 & 6 year old boys. They both loved the lazy river and swimming pools. Us parents enjoyed the poolside bar and how easy it was to order food by the pool for meals. They did try to entice us with a timeshare meeting but were not too pushy about it. The property was nice and we would stay here again.
- 5/5
We enjoyed the beautiful resort! We wished the lazy river pool was open later because we were out enjoying Sea World near by and it was hard to do it all! I wish I would have realized sooner where the restaurant was on site or we probably wouldn’t have ordered door dash!
- 3/5
Our room (king with sofa bed) was quite nice, with a balcony, kitchenette, large tv, and comfortable bed. It had a musty smell though around the entrance where the bathroom door is. The lazy river looked fun but we didn't get a chance to use it, the pool was nice and we used that till it closed at 10pm. One of the hot tubs was murky and pretty gross looking, the larger spa tub was nice. The arcade is a row of claw machines, games for prizes, and 2 actual arcade games. Maybe 7-8 machines total, with only 2 arcade games. That was fairly disappointing. All the games cost credits that are purchased from a card. There's activities every day, our activity was s'mores at the fire (which doesn't look like the pictures at all) and we were charged $5/s'more. There is lots of stuff to do, the property is pretty nice except for a variety of funky smells, and at the end of the day we feel that the place cost way too much for what was provided.
- 5/5
We had a great time
- 4/5
The policies seem to change from visit to visit. Even the website polices conflict with what is posted at the resort. This being a vacation club, guests are typically allowed to bring coolers with food and drinks down to the pool areas. Seems this is an issue now and we were turned away despite the website not stating anything about it. The policy is loosely enforced. We saw plenty of coolers throughout the weekend. Other than that, great place to chill.
- 5/5
The whole resort was super clean. My boys loved the pool and lazy river. Room was super comfortable and everyone was nice and helpful!
- 5/5
This resort is amazing, we loved our villa and all the amenities.
