Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk

We had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio River Walk. The hotel was nicely appointed, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. One of the best features is the direct access to the River Walk and the Alamo, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy the restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby. Overall, a great location and a very enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend!

Great place and location the only knock I have is there wasn’t a refrigerator in the room

Second we were given a dirty room but reassign a new room with a $50 bar credit which was good but than this deleted my late check out request without us knowing and I had to waste over 30mins getting them to honor the request. They also assign my brothers valet ticket to another person and they had to waste over 30 mins fix it which put us late for everything we wanted to do. We Will never stay at this chaotic disorganized hotel again.

I will definitely stay at the Hyatt again but would enjoy more coffee in the room rather than 2 coffee pods.

Everything was great from service to our bedrooms. The restaurant at the lobby was great and great services..

Beds were real bad terrible, and pillows, sink water was like real bad

Room was nicely clean the view was okay bed and pillow could be more comfortable and room temp the room was kind of hot.

The place was clean and nice. Quick access to riverwalk and the city where i didnt have to use my car When checking in was not notified all all the extras i was afforded. Was not told of the drink i could get or free waters. Also was not explained that the 12.00 room credit per only could be used towards the food or drink. So i lost both days. Communication was horrible on that. Most times good quality hotels explain that stuff so u get all you pay for.

We asked hotel staff for help to unlock the safe in our room. No one came to unlock it after we were told it would be taken care of. At 6:50pm we called the front desk to see if they could investigate the hammering noise above our room. We were told there was construction going on, on the roof but they had left at 6:00pm. They told us they would check on it for us. Hammering went on for another hour. This one, probably beyond hotel control, were noisy children in the adjoining room until midnight. Overall, a nice property, but unresponsive staff and noisy neighbors spoiled this one night hotel stay for us.

Our first room wasn’t great, the fridge didn’t work and the shower head needed maintenance, we switched rooms and our second room was great!!! The hotel staff helped us so much with that switch up and my husband and I had a fantastic time. The only downside was that the key card for the parking garage was hit or miss if it worked or not, but we could easily press “call for help” and they verified our info and everything worked out.

So even though it was clean, nice staff, there were too many fees not explained and didn't give me a receipt but for parking. So for me, that ruined my stay on my Anniversary. Denise Soldevila

Loved our stay. I recommend if everyone isn't hardy breakfast eaters. You don't pay for buffet. You won't appreciate being charged $25 dollars plus tip per person when someone only gets coffee and fruit. Valet was convenient and quick. Especially convenient for someone in a wheelchair. They have an elevator that can take you down to the Riverwalk. I actually liked it all.

Great location. Hyatt hotels themselves are always top notch. Right across from Alamo and heart of river walk.

My only complaint is that my flight was delayed and I could not check in until the next day. Management refused to refund the first night which I prepaid. I think they should be a bit more lenient when it comes to scenarios like this as it’s out of the visitor’s control considering Expedia provided proof of delayed flights. Staff at check in desk was not the most welcoming either. Otherwise, my stay was great.

My grandkids and I had a wonderful stay. The hotel is just beautiful! Everyone was so friendly. I look forward to another stay there.

Nice and pretty Had a good experience until a valet employee decided to steal my perfume. I had just bought worth over $100. Tried reporting it and they still haven’t reached out to me.

Parking is not site, 50-70 a night which can be added to room stay,or pay every time you leave the garage, additional fees due upon checking on top of your stay pricing. To me it was a bummer that it was hidden. Other than that great stay, comfortable beds, any supplies you might need they’re only a text away for request. Many walkable places to eat or touristy places. 30 minutes away from SeaWorld which was our main reason to visit SA TX.

We enjoyed our stay. It was very peaceful and quiet. I had ordered an amenity for my husband but had questions. After waiting for 3 days no response to my questions. The day of our arrival I finally heard from someone and they were so apologetic for not getting back to me they answered my questions and told me no charge on amenity. They made sure it was in the room and ready when we arrived. My husband was so surprised. The staff made sure we were happy with the gift. It definitely was a great stay and we will be back.

Room charge was very handy for meals and poolside service. I've not had this experience in the USA except at walt disney world resorts.

I was billed twice for the same stay on my bank card and my credit card and here we are a full week later and still no tefund

Clean room, pleasant staff and great entertainment and environment. Only thing is the breakfast should be complimentary when booking for 2days or more. Will definitely recommend and come back on next vacation

This hotel was amazing. It was right off the Riverwalk and there was even a button to push to take you straight down to the Riverwalk. Parking was very easy inconvenient the parking garage was literally across the street from the hotel. Walking distance to everything we literally didn’t have to drive anywhere very beautiful.

Amazing trip never experienced the Hyatt Regency before, but I will definitely be coming again on my next trip. Service was excellent, price was great for the excellent customer service.

The staff was very helpful and efficient, even during y'all's peak check-in time. When we didn't know how to start check-in, they helped us all the way from valet to our room. The bell hopper was very informative and so nice! We were very pleased with the lighting and TV cast features and all of the room amenities! We'll definitely make this our San Antonio spot whenever we come down from Austin. :)

Location Location Location for those site seeing. From the valet service to the front desk everyone was hospitable. There service at the restaurant and even the snack shop was fantastic. Everyone there was so friendly/attentive to your needs. Rooms where clean. The only down fall for me was the soft bed. I didnt get a good night rest. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

BEAUTIFUL HOTEL!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, GREAT COFFE SHOP IN LOBBY WITH GREAT HOURS OF OPERATION. DOOR DIRECTLY TO RIVER WALK AND DIRECTLY TO THE ALAMO. GREAT FOR FAMILIES! SHOWERS COULD USE BETTER CLEANING, THEY DO HAVE THEIR BUSY CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES, BETTER TO CALL FOR LUGAGE CART WHEN LEAVING BEFORE HAND. ¡WILL STAY AGAIN!

The pool had mold in the edges. The ac in the room made loud noises it felt like a 1980s diesel engine was on. The valet misplaced my car keys and it took them over 2 hours to locate the keys. The day they misplaced my keys i had tickets for aquaworld, when we got to aquaworld it was too late and kids didnt experience it. They ruined my stay. Thank you Hyatt.

Loved the location of this hotel! It was so fun to walkout into the riverwalk to grab dinner or just sight see. The hotel itself was beautiful and the staff was so helpful and kind. We would definitely stay here again!

Place is great and location was perfect for all our activities. Only thing that I didn’t like was when we tried to go to breakfast. All tables had dirty dishes on them and no one wanted to clean them off so we ended up going somewhere else for breakfast.

The only issue I had was my room had a shared door with another room. This door was not soundproofed at all and we could hear everything that happened in the other room. Be it The TV on loud at 04:40, Kids crying, and people making out.

It is a very nice hotel and in a very good location. The only reason they are not getting the full 5 stars are because 1. they gave my room away that I paid for in advance, I had to settle for something else that seemed comparable to the front desk guy but it really wasnt. So that already left me with a bad taste. He did give me a discount on the parking but I feel like that wasnt enough. The other reason is that the cleaning crew came in while we were out and made our beds. They threw away a bag that was meant to put my nice purse inside for protection but yet they did not throw away actual trash. Just annoying because I was planning on using that cloth bag. Other than that, the stay was perfect and our event was walking distance so it was very convenient. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location if you like to have entertainment and historic landmarks around you.

Well the first rag I grabbed had a brown stain on it looked like bowels. My AC wouldn’t go below 72 so it was very hot.

I noticed there were no extra blankets or pillow handily available in room. I'm sure I could've asked if needed. Also no Bible.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful views. Treated like royalty. Walk out one side right onto the river walk. Walk out the other side straight into the Alamo!
