Despite paying in advance for our stay, the hotel required us to pay a daily resort fee of $60. Additionally, we were charged a $25 self-parking fee each day, even though we were guests at the hotel. If I had known that staying at the hotel would incur these extra charges, I would have chosen a different hotel in town instead.

Loved our overall stay! We did go to see the new lagoon and were a little disappointed to know that is it was limited for swimming. Everything else was great!

90% white 10% black… lagoon closed at 7 due to no staff. Paid too much for that for it not to be open when they supposed to close at 9.

We love this place! Have visited several times. Lobby bar staff are absolutely fantastic!! Love the feel of “at home” as soon as on property. Don’t allow children into Charlie’s- kids don’t belong in a bar. Give adults one place without kids on the property.

We absolutely loved our stay at your property and will definitely visit again. My daughter enjoyed the beach, paddleboarding, and the lazy river. We also loved making s'mores each night and appreciated not needing to leave the resort for entertainment. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Overall, the stay was good, except for restaurants where literally a small child rode their bicycle into the Springhouse Cafe (with his mom). I cannot believe they did not stop it because he almost ran over two old people. Antlers, which is a high-end steakhouse had loud children that were climbing in the booth which made it hard to hear but the food was excellent. The pool was excellent as always, and the food was very good.

The breakfast buffet is outstanding. We loved the new lagoon and associated facitilies. We love the nightly s'mores. We love all of the scheduled activities. The pre-mixed drinks at the River Bar on the lazy river were awful.

We like what it was once! It was actual luxury for years. The beds and pillows where premium mattress was a hand-tufted bed made of natural materials like horsehair, fine cotton, and feathers and the floors in rooms were carpet. We started in 2014, long term happiness once was year after year. Over the 12 years there marketing to different types of life styles some good some bad. Now it has a faux luxury all the way to the food. Yes they serve some tenderloin its just the cheaper tenderloin and you can tell. It was a time that you were willing to spend $ because they made you feel special. Now it is almost like you can taste the frozen. Biggest issue was our room lacked a solid air conditioning. The manager sent up fans and his engineer told us our room would be comped for the night, a $500 room. When asked if he could do more for us a day later we said no, thinking the prior offer was more than enough. Today, We found out he only refunded $100.00. Note to all if they tell you something get it in writing. They didn't keep their word.

This was our first time visiting this property and we found the staff to be super helpful, especially regarding dietary restrictions. The dining buffet is also a bargain for anyone under 12 as you just pay your age! For poolside, there also seemed to be plenty of lounger - finding shade was the only tricky part. We would definitely go back!

A lot of shade trees along the lazy river. Comfortable bed. The lazy river had an extreme lack of seating. We went early in the morning and all the seats were already taken up. In the afternoon all of the tubes were taken. Not equipped at all to handle the amount of people there. Antlers restaurant was very much overpriced for what we got. The sink and shower drains were slow.

We got there at 4PM for check in, but our room was not ready. Fine, we can wait around. I checked again at 5PM, still not ready. Finally got a text at 6PM stating the room was ready, they blamed housekeeping. We ended up getting a credit for $125 for the wait time, that doesn’t even cover the overnight parking $25/day or resort fee $60/day. We stayed 4 nights and used the pool 2 times. We didn’t even use the pool the first night there because we were so tired from the drive and the wait time. Overall, the lazy river was OK. Staff was nice. The hotel was convenient to the areas we were visiting.

We were pretty disappointed. We did t get adjoining room like we booked. Every single thing on property cost extra, even though the website made it seem like many things were included in the resort fee. The lagoon was SEVERELY lacking. You can’t swim because the water is super shallow and the roped off area was tiny. And the overpriced paddle board and kayaking was a joke. It’s 35 dollars per person per hour and you have a very small area to do it in and you have to wear a life jacket. The lazy river was great until you get to a shallow area that you have to scoot yourself across. Our expensive googles and snorkels were stolen off a beach chair. There were several small kids in the adult only pool and hot tub area. And when we tried to go to the lagoon at 8:30 just to lay on the “beach” and relax. They had closed it down early. It was supposed to close at 10:00 pm. They ran out of everything very quickly and there wasn’t enough staff on the grounds. And they kept charging random hidden charges daily. I do not recommend this place and we will never go back.

The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The lazy river was a blast, and shaded so even in the texas sun it was bearable to be out all day. Movie on the lawn and smores are always fun! I noticed since our last trip they now charge for parking and to rent a bike....the "beach" which was new since our last trip and was highly disappointing. 90% of the pool is blocked off for kayak and paddle boarding which is a separate fee.

We knew it was a family location, but wish there were more 18 and up adult only options for restaurants, or at least no kids under 18 past 9pm. Babies in the sportsbar till 11pm was a bit much.

Wel love this place and can’t say enough great things about it. This was not our first time here with our kids. Do yourself a favor, upgrade to a patio room with pool view. You can slide out your french doors right in to the lazy river, surfing, pools etc. it saves you so much time and walking and 100% worth it. This is the best resort in San Antonio.

From the moment we arrived at the Hyatt, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and helpfulness that continued throughout our entire stay. The customer service here is outstanding—friendly, attentive, and proactive in a way that made us feel truly welcome and cared for. It was such a refreshing change after our disappointing experience at the JW, where the friendliness and overall service fell far short of what we expected. The resort itself is beautiful, with a relaxed Hill Country vibe, spacious and comfortable rooms, and fantastic amenities. We loved the pools, lazy river, and the peaceful grounds—everything felt well-maintained and inviting. Whether you're here for relaxation or family fun, this place delivers. We left much happier than when we arrived, and we’d happily return (and recommend the Hyatt over the other option in the area). Thank you to the entire team for turning our trip around!

Nice property. More dining options would be nice. They only put two bottles of water in the room each day. Charging $25 per day to self park is a bit excessive for a hotel connected to a golf course. Stayed because a family member was in a local hospital. Lots of hotels do it now, but the separate resort fee should just be built into pricing - what legitimate point is there in doing this?
