A bit disappointed with the disposable plates and utensils. Hadn't stayed at a Hyatt Place for a long time and I was used to real plates and silverware. The paper/plastic plates and utensils make the hotel feel cheap. Additionally, the hallway to our room on the 5th floor smelled like dogs, which was not acceptable!

The property and our room were really clean, and the location is in a great area. We also appreciated that the parking is gated and secure. The breakfast was okay and had a decent selection. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again!

Extremely disappointed with my experience. My van was broken into, along with many vehicles that same night. The hotel staff didn't show any concern or offer any assistance, extremely unsupportive and dismissive.

The staff was nice, check in was a breeze, the complimentary breakfast was tasty and the pool was nice and clean. Parking was non-issue and loved the gated parking for extra security. The room had mold and you can smell it very strongly in the bathroom.

The hotel was nice, but the bathroom area was way too small. It was very uncomfortable when trying to get in and out of that area.

Where do I start. Checked in, dropped off our luggage and went out to eat. When we came back we tried to use the pool but it was FILTHY with bugs and debris. Tried to look past it but my children were frightened by the amount of crickets and wasps in the pool. When we came back to the room, the ac wasn’t working. I tried calling front desk with no answer. I go down to tell the gentleman and he apologized and offered another room. Of course we had to re pack everything to move. We were give the new keys and moved in. When we tired showering the shower head was not working properly. I wasn’t about to be moved yet again so we just dealt with it how we could. We will never return to this hotel.

I did not like that I was not able to sleep comfortably because there was light coming in through the window. But I didn't see until after we were checking out I noticed there were two different shades for the window that I hadn't seen before.

Clean and spacious room, well maintained and staff was very helpful. Breakfast was okay but that’s typical so that’s fine! I recommend for people who like to stay in a suite like situation. Every room has a sofa that converts into a bed.

I had a very disappointing experience at Hyatt Place San Antonio. The refrigerator in our room was not working, the telephone did not work, and the television had very limited channels and entertainment options. The breakfast was also disappointing. Most of the hot breakfast items were pork every day. We informed the staff that we do not eat pork and requested alternatives such as turkey or chicken, but nothing changed during our stay. The staff offered to move us to another room, but when we checked it, it had the same issues. They even suggested that we leave the hotel, but we were already on our trip with tickets and plans booked. Finding another hotel at the last minute would have disrupted our vacation and cost us more time and money. Because of that, we had no choice but to stay and adjust to the situation. For the amount we paid, we expected much better service, working room amenities, and better customer care. Overall, this stay was not worth the money, and I would not recommend this hotel unless these issues are resolved.

The 2 full bedroom was very accommodating.but the upper corner ceiling was pealing back a bit due to rain water. The AC was inefficient in lowering the humidity level and to close to bewith limited passage to draw the window blinds

The air conditioning was a bit loud other than that it was a very nice place.

The staff & parking is amazing

Had to ask for pool towels and for the sheets, blankets and pillow for the pullout. I was told they should be there but they weren’t. Also, no phone service on the room phones. I asked for a list of nearby restaurants, none was available, I was told their list was being updated. Breakfast was good, however omelettes were cold. The front desk ladies were very helpful- went to get towels, sheets, blankets, she was also able to verbally give me a list of restaurants near the hotel for me to order from and refilled my water tumbler with ice and water. Overall, it was nice, clean and peaceful. I would stay there again.

This is our favorite place to stay when we have business at the medical center. It’s always clean and quiet and they have a great breakfast! The staff is always friendly and helpful. We like being able to walk to one of our favorite restaurants for dinner.

Little things like ‘ only members get bottled water - what the hell is that, and it’s such an inexpensive change

The room was decently sized for 5 people, the beds were a bit hard though. There were also these little bugs on the sink outside the bathroom. And the shower drain was clogged so the water only drained after you finished, the shower head seems like it was positioned for shorter people, at a weird angle. Breakfast was okay, just hotel food.

Electricity went out unexpectedly, we did not have access to warm up our baby’s bottles and power went off in the middle of a shower. Hotel room Phones do not work at all to contact front office. Then when try calling from cell phone calls were t going through. Nice hotel but horrible experience.

Found two cockroaches in our room. The man who assisted us when we checked in was wonderful, but upon checking out we were met by three staff working front desk who seemed to be deep in a conversation that I seemed to have interrupted based on their faces. Elevators are definitely the slowest we have ever experienced, so ensure you use stairs or request a first floor room. Line to breakfast was definitely unrealistic, and it did not match the area to sit for breakfast. Overall, we will not be staying at this hotel again.

Clerk would not let my wife check in since the reservation was in my name. Was a bit rude when she informed. The breakfast area is not well organized. There is no free coffee available after breakfast hours. Was disappointed for a place carrying the Hyatt name.

The hotel has good size rooms, bathrooms on the small side but giod enough. The room as okish clean, the floors and general areas were dirty, it needs a good professional cleaning to clear stains and dirty marks off the floor. The area was very good located, access to many restaurant options, some walkable and safe

Staff at the Hyatt were very friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the room cleanliness was not up to par. We booked a king room listed for four people, but it felt very cramped and more suitable for two. The sofa bed was nice, but there wasn’t enough space in the room for four people to be comfortable.”

We stay at this hotel often, but this stay was by far the best! Allll staff was helpful and friendly! Everyone was ready for whatever you needed. Our stay was during Valentine’s weekend because my son had a soccer tournament, so we loved how they went all out for Valentine’s and gave my kids little Valentine gifts! Definitely a stay to remember!
