Holiday Inn San Antonio Seaworld by IHG

I would recommend this hotel and will stay again when visiting. They made my stay very delightful for my first time in San Antonio Texas for my son’s graduation in Lackland.

It was located near the Veterans Clinic, and no parking fee was expected. Construction taking place, noise and carpet in the room was filthy, i asked for handicap accessible room, I was not given a room with that.

The smart TVs did not work. The staff said they were waiting on the internet to be transferred or something. Did not offer a discount or anything to rectify the issue. Also, there was water on the floor one morning when we woke up. I assume it was because of a leak in the ceiling (clear water marks that had been poorly patched). The room was always damp.

We were in for a graduation and this hotel was affordable, clean and just perfect. Pool was refreshing with Texas weather. Room was spacious and hotel lobby with a pool table was a perk. Customer service overnight was wonderful with front staff checking in at 2 am .

This has been the nicest Holiday Inn we’ve ever stayed in. The room and restroom were very clean. I enjoyed the fact that there was shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion in large bottles for use. I do plan on returning.

Easy check in and out From the beginning when I was searching for a hotel my top priorities were included breakfast and near Seaworld. However, somehow when I found the perfect option the option selected didn’t included the breakfast. I paid extra 48 dollars at the counter for 3 people breakfast for two days that was curved ball.

That the breakfast wasn’t free and when we bought frozen food they didn’t offers us forks or spoons so I wouldn’t come to this Holiday day inn again but I would go to the other ones

The hotel was amazing. We enjoyed our stay and experience. This was our second stay at this location. The front desk staff, room attendant, shuttle driver, and restaurant staff were friendly, professional, and respectful.

Best part was the breakfast. The interior feels dated.

The front staff seemed in a hurry and didn't activate our key cards correctly. Of course they blamed us for demagnetizing them. And they magically worked the 2nd time after having to go back downstairs to get them reset up. The room itself was filthy. It seems all they do is make the beds. Handprints and smears where everywhere. The bathroom had mildew and they obviously paint over the moldy ceiling in the shower. And there was hair everywhere! On the bed, in the shower, in every crack and corner, everywhere you would look. The room was also damp and the had a musty smell. Everything felt damp. The AC unit screen and buttons were broken and the inside of the unit was filthy. The parking lot is too small as well. Many people park in a muddy field next to the lot and track mud throughout the parking lot. So regardless if you get parking, expect your tires to get muddy on a rainy day. The breakfast is a paid buffet. Overall this place is run down and needs work. And its not worth the cost to stay there.

The hotel and staff were all amazingly courteous and helpful. Always a smile on their faces and attentive to our needs. The room was clean but the carpet and curtains smelled terrible and made the room smell bad. Other than that the room was good and beds comfortable as always

The site is getting worn down. Card keys often don't work and there's a key in the room that turns off power? Staff was very friendly in handling any issues. Too pricey for what you get.

Everything was great thanks

The bundled breakfast deal to convenient and affordable to feed a family of four each morning. The rooms were adequate, but pretty obviously dated. The men’s pool locker rims were awful, the showers has corrosion all over the knobs. Overall, the facility felt like it had been on the decline or some time.

It is a very nice hotel and was perfect for our overnight trip.

The stay was okay for the price but the hotel is in need of some TLC. My room had mold above the window, there was rust stains in the bathtub, there was green algae/mold in the outside pool, and the person who checked us in, Velma, was extremely rude when I had to ask for a higher floor even though it was on my reservation request which was made over a month in advance. The hallways on the 5th floor smelled of weed for several days during my almost 2 week stay. The only real perk was the shuttle to and from SeaWorld.

The staff were so attentive throughout our stay! We always had fresh towels and all the bathroom essentials. Plus, the shuttle to SeaWorld was always on time and very friendly.

The room wasn’t as clean as I hopped, the room seem old, the sheets had stains, the bathroom vent did not work, the AC unit was extremely loud to the point it disrupted our sleep. The bathtub was old and has a lot of stains.

The hotel was clean, the free roll away bed is a great option for families. We ate at the on-site restaurant for dinner, the food was good and kids 11 and under eat free with an adult. The amenities are nice for kids, a pool and a billiards table. The staff were all helpful and pleasant. We will stay here again when we visit the area.

We enjoyed our stay at this Holiday Inn. It's located in a convienent area off the highway. The rooms were what you'd expect from a Holiday Inn, clean and comfortable. There is a little wear, mainly in the bathroom, but nothing bad. The Grill serves a good breakfast and dinner that are definitely worth trying. Both indoor and outdoor pools were clean. They provided towels on site. Finally, the complimentary shuttle to Seaworld was very nice.

Rooms were clean and neat. Swimming pool was also great both my boys had a blast. We had breakfast prior to our departure to Seaworld. The only thing I'd complain about was that I had asked for a refill of coffee and never got it. Almost felt like I was forgotten even though the server was able to refill the two gentlemen sitting next to us in a short of time when I heard them request more coffee. Food was great, my kids loved it. Although they were a little upset there were no pancakes they still enjoyed thr fruit and bacon that was available and eggs. Cost is fair with all that is included. I definitely see myself coming back again with the kiddos at some point. I will also say I'm very thankful that even thought we had checked out in time that we were still welcome as guests when we got back from the park to change in the bathroom and pack up to go back home. Overall a great experience, my kids loved it, I had a blast spending time and making memories with my kiddos. Thank you all for making it happen and making it go smooth.

Old dated needs full revamp air-conditioning needs cleaning

The toilet wasn’t clean and the property was old, dingy and moldy. Spoke to front desk and they said there was nothing they could do about the toilet. They wanted me to speak to the manager who arrives as 9 am. I looked for her at 9 am but she hadn’t arrived. The toilet had stains and there was hairy on the floor. It looked like it hadn’t been swept. Carpet as well. There was mildew smell in the room. Toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages.

This was a really good hotel everything was well maintained! The food was delicious! We did have one issue where there was something wrong with the air conditioner however they were very accommodating to us!

The was a constant having dripping of coming from the floor above. The breakfast buffet that they charged $15 for was the same as you get a hotels that offer free full breakfast. The french toast almot broke a tooth is was so hard. Not up to Holiday Inn standards and certainly not worth $215 a night!!!

Breakfast was supposed to be included in our rate but the location was not well marked. Then when we found breakfast they tried to charge us $15.95 per person despite it being “included”. Ultimately we had the charge removed after showing our reservation but did not understand why they charged that to begin with. The buffet itself was standard eggs, potatoes, meats, fruits and a waffle station. The room was clean but definitely showed wear and tear such was furniture having some tears and carpet stains. No big deal. It did smell like urine in the hallway for the first 2 days of our stay-management did not have an explanation but did put a small fan near our room in the hallway I guess to try to dry it out? Housekeeping came once during our 3 night stay.

Didn't use the pool, room was cleaned but when I got back for the day room had an odor and bathroom was clean but toilet was nasty as if it was backing up, shower water doesn't get really hot water comes out slow in the shower and parking isn't the greatest, I believe locals come to the bar here and takes up all the parking. All staff at front desk was extremely pleasant. Will I stay again NO.

We stayed one night after traveling 14 hours when we just wanted a comfortable bed and a hot shower in the morning, no one mentioned that they had no not water we found out in the morning when my daughter was screaming because the water was freezing. I called to let them know they said they were aware of the issue and they were working on it. We spoke to a couple other guests and they told us they hadn’t had hot water for two days. There was also no ice in any of the ice makers , when we discussed it with the ladies at the front desk they seemed unconcerned with the hot way situation and told us we could get ice at the restaurant. Overall was very disappointed. I could not even shower because I can not handle freezing water.

There was no airport shuttle

Everyone at the front desk was very nice, no matter the shift all the ladies were very welcoming. Big plus, the downfall although the room was nice and tightly ready for us. I felt as if it wasn’t clean. Saw some trash on the floor and the restroom sink had stains that I was able to remove when I cleaned it. Was a little uncomfortable with that.

The staff were also very helpful and kind, always ready to assist with a smile and make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Nice room, great staff

Rooms they were nice but the first one i had issues with the restroom head shower wasn't working properly. I could also hear the people next door and the wifi wasn't working neither but the staff where nice.

It’s a nice place but there was no hot water and they wouldn’t give a discount since I booked through a third party.

The room was very clean. The staff was very nice. The amenities were awesome. The only thing that I think needs to be improved is the lighting in the bathroom very dull to put makeup on.
