Very nice place, we felt very safe and the staff is very accommodating and nice!

Location was convenient. Breakfast provided many options and was good quality. The pancake machine was broken, which was disappointing. The pool was beautiful. The air conditioner unit was broken at the bottom with visible mold. There was black mold in the tub/shower. Only one elevator was operational which caused some long waits during, especially when trying to leave for checkout.

My partner and I stayed here for about a week and had a good experience. The staff were very kind, and any minor issue was addressed with no problem. The AC worked well, so the room was always nice and cold. Housekeeping cleaned and made the bed around 11 AM daily. The complimentary breakfast and the pool were also great additions. It was a comfortable stay and definitely worth the price."

I always try to leave a good review wherever I go, but this time—even though I’d ​​like to—I can't. The rooms were quite clean, and the staff wasn't very friendly (though that was manageable), and there are restaurants nearby. However, the pool area at night is infested with cockroaches—both flying and non-flying ones (not just one or two, but many—I’m not exaggerating). They crawl onto the coolers; if you aren't careful, they get into your food or drinks or fall into the pool water (which is horrible). I told the woman maintaining the area that they needed to fumigate, but she just gave me a nonsensical excuse. The breakfast was poor; we were a group of 13, and some of us had to go out elsewhere to eat.

Only thing I didnt like was it was near cracker barrel. The location didnt have decent parking. Our room was very humid even with AC on 65 causing floors to be wet and sticky it was very comfortable.

Great hotel. Only had 1 issue with the lock on the door but staff and maintenance were called and was quickly fixed.

I liked the location. Kids loved the pool Our shower didn’t want to drain and the room floors were dirty. Turned our feet black walking around with no shoes. And the sheets had a stain on them and the pull out couches had stains all on them. Wish the pool had more lights when it got dark. There was only a flood light the actual pool had no under water lights so made it hard to see the kids while swimming. The door to the outside to get to the pool didn’t want to open. Had to walk all the way around the front on the building and still wasn’t fixed after several people said something.

Enjoyed pool, how close restaurants and shops are, and the free breakfast and coffee.

I found dead cockroaches in the room, the bathroom had hair after they cleaned it they couldn't be mine because I'm bald, the air conditioning was too noisy I couldn't stay the 6 nights I had paid I had to pack the fourth night I couldn't sleep anymore

Double charged me for one room. Paid for the room through “booking” then upon check in hotel staff said I had not paid. Couldn’t get my room until I did pay so I paid them as well. They said the charge would go back to my account when they received my payment from “booking”. Few days later and both charges are pulled from my account. Now having to haggle for refund. Very annoying and inconvenient.

This property needs major work. Staff were not very helpful or pleasant. It was 84 degrees on the 6th floor. Not enough towels or pillows to go around. Checked into a dirty room and had to request linens. Would not recommend anyone stay here.

Nice and fresh inside. The room was not clean. Had some pot residue in the restroom. Had no parking . Didn’t feel safe in the area. Breakfast area is too small .

The hotel room was clean and had all the basics, making for an overall okay experience. That said, the beds were too hard for our liking, and the breakfast area felt cramped due to a lack of seating for guests. I was also disappointed that the front desk didn't carry simple amenities like Tylenol when requested. Good for a quick trip, but comfort could be improved.

The lobby and entire hotel doesn’t feel to have a functioning AC. The fitness room had 3 machines and broken equipment. We couldn’t get the tradmill to work. I was super disappointed with our room. I had to approach hotel staff 2 times to fix an issue. Our walls in the room were dirty and sticky. Looked like dried candy or ketchup. Oily walls. The whole room gave landlord special vibes. I was definitely bamboozled by the pictures , those pictures must’ve been taken when they first opened. Only saving grace was the pool that lived up to the pics a bit. Our pull out bed was covered in crumbs from previous guests. Such a let down for the price we paid to stay here.

Comfortable bed and a cool AC. Room definitely showing age, but good enough for us. Breakfast was pretty good, but can get crowded and hard to find a place to sit. The slender Hispanic lady refreshing the breakfast was so nice and such a hard worker.

Went to the front desk clerk, which said it was only his 4th night on the job & he was here all alone & there was nothing he could do except leave a note for the manager, & possibly get us a discount. Next morning the Manager (whom is absolutely worthless) said it was because they're in the process of switching to bigger tvs, ok but why take the tv out until you get the new tv in?? There was only 2 towels, we needed 4. There was no linens for the extra bed, the bathroom floor was dirty, not swept, dead bugs everywhere, blow dryer was damaged & did not work, toilet paper holder was broken, conditioner pump was broken, did not work, shower curtain was all torn up, the shower did not drain. The lobby was HOT & humid, the clerk said he guesses the lobby ac was broken, thats why he had a fan pointed twards him. The business center was not working, The pool was nice, except that my husband & son kept stepping on beer bottle caps! Cut the bottom of my husband's foot! We are so disappointed in this hotel, we will never be back! Total waste of our hard earned money

First red flag was upon check in we were given the wrong room, we went down stairs to inform the staff and they gave us a new room no issue. We walked in and the room had a terrible smell every time the air would turn on. The beds were damp and we were only given two towels to use. The pillows had the worse smell we have ever smelt and we had to request new ones and it wasn’t any better. Not even a hour later as we are taking a nap , a family of 6 walks into our room and told us the staff downstairs gave them this room and they had a key to open the door. So I had to tell them when I checked in they gave me the wrong room too but at least the one we walked into was vacant. I can’t imagine if we wouldn’t have been in the room and the staff just handing out keys to guest not even checking to see if rooms are taken or vacant what could have happened to our personal belongs. After this it made us very uncomfortable to sleep or leave not knowing if it was going to happen again. The next day the breakfast was okay nothing special the juice was watered down. As we are getting ready a roach was found in the room. Later on another one was found and the next day again. I booked this hotel as it looked nice but don’t let the pictures fool you or the reviews. I spoke with other guest and they as well had the same to say about the roaches, the pillows and bedding being damp and the smell coming from the AC unit.

One thing I really loved was there was turkey and chicken sausage on the breakfast buffet. I also thought the pancake maker was really cute.

Everything was fine except were we wanted to plug our phones, outlets did not work, but I really liked the hotel, no issues.

Clean room. Great pool. Perfect location, accessible to restaurants. Some walking distance. Check in at 4:00 was the only downfall. Will definitely be staying here again.

The room we stayed in was not clean at all even the ac filters were very dirty. My kids had an allergic reaction to the dirtiness of the room. Mildew in the bathroom ceiling. You can hear people arguing like at 2a.m.

Everything about our stay was good. My only complaint was the gym facility. It was minimal and most equipment was not operable.

Love the hotel itself but the cleanness is not up to par. Since we checked in the room looked clean but when we was getting ready for bed, the drain in the tub was not draining, one of the bed sheets was not clean. Told the front dream and they put us down on the schedule for maintenance to come take a look and gave us a new bedsheet. Come back the next day after spending the day at SeaWorld thinking that maintenance came by for the drain ready to get trash for bed, the drain was still backed up. Called the front desk again and they had someone come look and try to fix it but it still was not draining right. Would not recommend anyone to stay here and would not be back

When we first checked in, we found hair clippings on the beds. We let the staff know and they changed the bedding for us. The rest of the room seemed clean. Breakfast was good. The AC worked well. They have shampoo/conditioner/ body wash in the shower and liquid hand soap and lotion by the sink. There wasn’t extra pillows or blankets for the sofa bed in the room. And the sofa bed mattress is awful. Absolutely not comfortable at all. Did not use the sofa bed for that reason and ended up sleeping 3 on one bed and 2 on the other. That was hard but we made it work. Pool is nice. There is also a Cracker Barrel right next door walking distance and a gas station.

The guy receptionist was so rude and unprofessional. My reservation got canceld that same day with such a short notice.i had booked with 1 month in advanced! I arrived and thats when i found out. He supposedly said he had called earlier but no call was recieved. They had emailed me 2 hrs before checkin, i was busy that day i arrived at the hotel at 6 ready to relax for a bit after a full day at seaworld.He was super rude no help at all, he did not care or even try to help for the inconvinence. Hotel looked amazing they should really consider getting a new receptionist. I did not even get his name but im pretty sure he will be easy to spot. He is just on his phone when you walk in, looks like he doesn't want to be botherd. With a very sassy attitude.

I stayed for 3 days excellent service, staff excellent very helpful, and breakfast delicious highly recommend the place, if I ever come to San Antonio I would stay here again!.

Our room had multiple issues. The sink was clogged, the phone did not work, several outlets were so loose they would not hold a charger, and the bathroom mirror looked like it had been hastily secured with two screws. I was concerned it could fall. Our key cards also would not open certain doors. I went to the front desk twice for help, but the issue was never resolved, even though other guests’ key cards worked. Another concern was that hotel employees entered our room because we did not answer the door. This happened more than once, and we did not feel that was appropriate. We arrived around 10:00 p.m. after a 14-hour drive. With a family of five staying on the fifth floor and no luggage carts available, it took nearly an hour to carry everything to our room. The staff offered no assistance. Throughout our stay, it felt like we were treated differently because we booked through a third-party website. Overall, the customer service and condition of the hotel did not meet expectations.

Best house keeping service, sweet, respectful of property. Hotel reps were all nice and easy to speak to or ask for additional towels.

This review does not reflect the staff. This hotel was renovated and the bottom floor, which used to be a beautiful lobby, is now cramped and the rooms lack space, and the rooms were not built properly. Our electricity didn't even work for half the outlets! There was a random knocking all night and the a/c was so noisy turning on and off, I got my fan from my car and just turned the system off.

Air conditioning not working properly, had to switch rooms! They down graded us from a two bed, so kids had to sleep on a not so comfortable sofa bed.

We have 2 rooms. One for my teenagers and friends and one for my wife and myself, my room the bath tub was clogged, finished shower and water was sitting in there. Second room never got soap, shampoo to shower, they cleaned the room and still nothing, unfortunately my son's did not mention anything. How is possible the housekeeper clean the room and didn't noticed?

I have never been disappointed with a Holiday Inn, until this trip. The room was just gross, the shower was rough on the bottom, there was hair on the floor, and it was just over all ick.

The room was very spacious, clean and bed was comfy. The breakfast was more than expected. We appreciated there being hot foods as well as fruits, pastries and cereals. Great place for family's.

Good hotel

My family travelled for a funeral.. the hotel definitely gave my kids some relief with hot breakfast with a variety of foods (maybe add some bacon), big room, cold AC, the pool and lots and lots of towels. Under the circumstances, I shopped for a deal and the pool! Found both here! If it helps anyone book, the pool does go to 6 feet deep and my son loved sitting under the waterfall. My only concern would be the sofa bed. We couldn’t use ours because it had no sheets on it and was stained. Other than that the beds were so soft and we made all the space work for our family of 5!

Avoid this location, it is dirty, and rooms are not kept at all. They're about what your expect a run down motel 6 to look and feel like. Dirty, moldy restrooms, pictures must be from years ago, not recent.

I hated everything about this hotel. They were dirty, unorganized, and very crammed and packed. This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Thank you for helping my family when our a/c went out. Staff were extremely supportive and helped us move rooms. Customer service is hard to find nowadays we appreciate everything.

So many places to go to around. Hotel is clean, cold, and the rooms are big. Restrooms are great. And the pool was amazing and clean. Not to mention Paul the front desk worker was very kind and friendly. Will return soon!

Don’t recommend didn’t get the room I booked for there was roaches in the bathroom. Bathroom smelt like mildew it was humid in there. Connected to another room where we heard everything. Front desk manager lady was kinda rude upon arrival. Said I could pay at property but yet wanted a down payment. Horrible never again.

Nice firm bed.

The only reason I did not give five was the check in was awful we stood there as the man kept long conversation with the guest in front of us. There was 2 people in front me checkin. When he got to us not a a word was spoken.

The room we stayed in had the best ac compared to any other hotel ive stayed in. The pool was really fun also for the kids . I didnt try the breakfast. The sofa bed was really dirty, it had old fries and the mattress looked like 50 yrs old. The bed had hairs in the pillow covers.

Very clean, comfortable beds

Eli was helpful for for our late arrival (2am). He got us extra towels for the children, pillows and fresh blankets for the pull-out bed. Breakfast was plentiful and filling. I'd prefer the old school coffee pot versus the digital automatic ones. They were slow. Lisa, the front decimal and Liz front desk receptionist were very helpful when we checked out. Chased me down to give me a cart. And found a lost inhaler that my daughter left extra. Thanks to Lisa, Liz and Eli!!!!!

We enjoyed the clean room, quiet and very relaxing.

The hotel was clear that it’s nota full service hotel so you will need to pick up pillows and blankets if they have any available at the desk yourself and beware you will be charged if you don’t carry your blankets back down at checkout too SMH. This is especially impacting if you rely on a pull out couch as a bed. Note the mattresses are also very old with many stains and not comfortable. The food is quality as far as hotel breakfast goes.

Clean room, good breakfast, great fresh coffee, friendly staff. The only thing I didn’t like was that the pool is not attached to the hotel. You have to get out to the parking lot to be able to get to the pool. Not safe specially if you have kids. Other than that it’s a nice place to stay.

The Hotel is severely understaffed for house cleaning. We had to wait for the rooms to be clean and once we went to the room they were filled with stained walls and furniture. Hair was all over the bathroom floor and shower curtain. When we asked to be moved they couldn’t accommodate us. Overall just not wort the trip.
