Breakfast was great! Front desk ladies were very sweet! Location was great: about 15-20min walk to Drury and from there River Walks. Walking back around 10p was ok.

We had special time needs and the staff cheerfully cooperated with our special requests. Torn picture needs repair, not a complaint. Just FYI.

The room was humid, carpet was very dirty that you couldn't be barefooted, feet turn black. Our room was not cleaned on time. Their excuse was that it was locked and that we had left a 'do not disturb' sign. All lies, by the staff maintenance. After 3 days they figured that maintenance did not reported their key was not working and couldn't gat in. One staff member was to aggressive defending himself arguing with me instead of figuring out the problem. Sad to say, I was the one that pointed out what the issue was. 4th night no issue, 5th night we couldn't get into room. The manager had to come and figure out the problem. If the maintenance staff would have reported correctly the issue instead of making assumptions they would have known the door electronic lock needed new batteries. How simple was that? I was very stressed and I couldn't relaxed at all. I had to keep calm and keep everyone else in my family as calm as possible. I would not stay here again.

Great hotel, staff were pleasant and wasn't too far a walk into the town centre via the river. Those who can't walk would need a taxi/car. Breakfast was good and rooms comfortable and large with no noise. Left items in the wardrobe and staff were most helpful in sending it to another hotel we were staying in when i contacted them :) Not enough fresh fruit at breakfast and WiFi was poor (I work in IT, my hotspot on phone was more stable and often quicker), it starts off well but then just seems to time out. Might be a bit far from centre for some but we like walking ;)

Stayed with family of 5 (3 x kids) on Queen suite room. Good room with decent space. Breakfast was awesome and staff very friendly. Would recommend anyone with family as parking is free and distance from attractions only few miles away. N/A

We only stayed one night. It was a great location and loved that it wasn’t far from downtown. Staff was very nice. The he room was nice and cold. There is only one elevator.

Everything Nothing

ThI staff was nice and very helpful. We were first assigned to room 201. The room smelled stuffy and moldy. Upon further examination I saw mold in the AC unit. The room should not be assigned to anyone as it is a danger. The manager proceeded to fluff up the pillows to prepare for another guest as we were leaving. We were then assigned to room 221 which smelled much better and did not have mold in the AC. The couch had stains on it, the shower curtain was ripped and the bathtub was peeling. I would have paid more money to stay somewhere else but reservation was non- refundable and I see why.

Everything about our stay was fabulous, but it was disappointing that the pool wasn't well maintained. The water was green and we couldn't use it during 100°+ weather.

The room was super clean very spacious and accommodating for a family of 5 first time visiting Texas and the San Antonio area and the location was close to a lot of different attractions!!! Housekeepers were friendly and welcoming breakfast had a good variety .

We stayed 5 nights with kids and our stay was good. Free self parking was a plus also being near H-E-B and restaurants. We would def stay there again. Rooms were clean and spacious, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was decent. About half a mile from market square and mile from riverwalk.

The worst thing about stay was the very loud tejano music playing until 1am. I'm pretty sure it was from the beer garden place just behind the hotel. I don't know how that's aloud for a mostly outdoor establishment to play loud music until that late.

Check in was easy and convenient. I was allowed to check in a bit earlier which helped with my evening plans. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great and parking was great. Even had security on the premises.

Worst hotel. Big rats outside, cracked bathroom wall. Cheap towels, dead lobby with white lights, no welcoming front desk, mold smell in the room. I am not sure how holiday inn is allowing this type of operation

Convenient to riverwalk and market square is a walk away. Very nice staff and room was older but well kept

The room and bathroom were clean. However, we had to request towels because although we were 6 we only had 3 towels in the room. Also, my son was on the sofa couch and there were no sheets or pillows for him to set it up and the mattress was definitely a sore to look at. The breakfast was ok nothing special but you have your basics pre made omelets, pancakes, oatmeal etc.

Overall it was okay for the price. The lady working the front desk was really nice and speedy with our check in process. The room was spacious which was great, but it could have been cleaner. The carpet looked dirty, sheets had stains, bes was super itchy, and the temp was uncomfortable even after adjusting the temp on AC. On another note... the restroom light switch was on the outside of the restroom which was weird.

Great breakfast. Elevator was broken upon arrival but they got it fixed quick. Room was clean. Pool was open and decent. All in all a good stay!

This is just a terrible, run down, dirty, old hotel. Definitely not what you'd expect from the average Holiday Inn.

Bar across the street played loud live music until 12:30am.

The breakfast was not the best, but it was edible. The room was clean, gym equipment worked well. Staff was nice and friendly! I’d stay here again for sure. The riverwalk is 15-20 minute walk and 8-10 minute walk to the market. This hotel is family friendly. The parking is free and they have computer if you need it. They also have snacks in the lobby everything is $2 so that’s good.

Some nosy nights, for cars of whyway 35 near hotel , but it's ok.

It was a good location. It was a bit loud on our floor. Staff was very friendly.

Clean rooms, courteous staff, and house keeping was very attentive. The location was not close to shopping and restaurants. However, there were a couple of malls within 10-12 miles from the hotel.

Ok not enough towels and elevator did not work

We slept great, the room was clean, the staff was very friendly and check in was the fastest I’ve ever experienced. The down side was the elevator was out but we didn’t have a problem with the stairs that were very conveniently located. There was also a lot of loud music outside that we could hear in our room but it was a Saturday night so I think that was why. It didn’t keep us from sleeping because we used white noise. We didn’t have time to eat breakfast so I can’t comment on that.

The lights in the room were very difficult to figure out; you had to turn on a certain switch on the other side of the room to make the lights turn on. Some lights did not work. We used the fold out bed and the front desk would not supply extra pillows. We needed extra towels and they gave us one. The 2 room concept is nice except the air would not cool the room with the fold out couch even with all doors open.

Window covering was shade only - so we had to leave it pulled down because our of our room location. Consequently room very dark. Hotel rooms need updating and repairs.

I book a Suite paid almost $300dlls for one night, when i got there it was no parking space, the guy that was in the front lobby told me to park in the back of the hotel on a red line, i told him that i wasn't gonna do it because an u-haul that was parking there and taking 6 spaces was not gonna be able to my car so i asguys gonna be responsible for that? The room was small and not ideal for a family of 5. They didn’t prep the room with linen for the sofa couch so we had to go and retrieve some. They didn’t give us adequate towels in the room and when asked for extra towels, they were out and wouldn’t have any available for 4-5 hours.The breakfast area was small and congested. I mean literally a small corner with gallery entrance. One way in one way out. People were all over each other.

I got this room for my kids for the Christmas holiday and it was a great stay according to them! Breakfast was good and free parking in a downtown that charges for parking just about everywhere! Would definitely book here again

Good experience

I reoort the staff that shower didnt flush the dirty water. But nobody make something to sole this. Even the maintenance people, the day and the night staff know that but nobody work on it. I had to take shower almost in a pool. Incredible to the regular quality of HIexpress.

We were not initially given the ADA accessible room we had booked online. However as soon as the desk clerk realized the error, it was corrected and room key exchanged quickly.

At first wasnt sure about the area, near warehouses. Everything was fine, but not able to walk to resturants or attractions.

Both front desk attendees were very polite. Breakfast was great, had a good variety for on the go. The lady cooking was also polite and sweet. The room was pretty nice and comfy. i really liked the door btwn the beds and the sitting area, i am an early bird, so closing the door to not wake up everyone as i watched TV was a plus. The room did have a certain smell, not a bad smell. but we always carry an air freshener plug in, so it didn't really bother us. Parking is limited and was only allowed 1 spot. Kinda sucks when we came in three different cars. We were all coming from different areas to enjoy the BOA. (Pearland, Corpus Christi, and Spring Tx) Other than the parking, our stay at the Holiday Inn was pleasant.

The rooms lack a safe deposit box. This is the only thing missing.

The breakfast pancakes were good and there was a fair variety. The elevator was super slow. It was tough to keep the room cool.
