Even though we arrived late, the staff was very friendly and helpful and had everything in order for my family and I.

Breakfast is plentiful and great. Room size is great, staff is nice. Loved my stay, will return.

The cleanliness of the entire facility was unusually superb surpassing or equaling some of the most luxurious hotels I've booked before. The specially equipped room and bath area were very comfortable and safe. There were adequate grab bars by the commode and shower, but there were no grab bars installed by the tub. This is the only concern I noticed, and over all I was very satisfied; and when I visit San Antonio again, I'll be booking with Holiday Inn Express!

Rooms were clean. Shower had pressure unlike most hotels. Breakfast was very good. Would highly recommend.

Everything from staff to location was perfect. I enjoyed myself here and I definitely would stay again.

Our stay was nice overall and very convenient for walking to the Riverwalk and Alamodome, but our room was right by the road on the first floor so we had some nightly road and train noise. I would stay here again though.

Carlos is an outstanding employee we have known for years as we visit annually at this hotel.

Our stay was quite enjoyable. Front desk staff were all friendly and informative. Air conditioning was easy to adjust and comfortable. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Room was clean. Breakfast was delicious. Despite hotel being in middle of renovations, there was no interruption to access of hotel and amenities provided by hotel. Also there was ample parking despite back of lot being occupied by storage containers. Only drawback was discrepancy between checkout hours posted online (12:00 pm) with travel agency and posted and verbally confirmed hours (11:00 am) at the hotel.

The food was good and the room was spacious and clean. It needed an extra chair in it, however.

The carpet need cleaning. I took off my shoes and walked on carpet immediately my feet started itching. Very uncomfortable. Good thing I had my alcohoI.

Stayed here while attending a show at Alamodome. Location was great, place was clean, would return.

The parking was horrific, I wouldn't return only due to parking.

But would definitely use the place again.

Room was clean, AC worked great, and so was the location. Only a short walk to the Riverwalk and all that it includes. Would have preferred waffles to pancakes but otherwise there were plenty of options for breakfast and the staff maintained/refilled breakfast items promptly. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful!! They were still finishing the remodel and construction noise was a concern, but we didn’t hear anything! We would stay here again!!

The room was not in the best shape. We got a double bed with the sofa bed. We could not use the sofa bed b/c when I unfolded it, there was a big stain on the bed, looked like dried blood, so the person that was going to sleep there has to share a bed with someone else. The door to the bedroom (no the door to the room) would not stay open, had to put a suitcase in front to keep it open. The curtain kept getting caught and was almost impossible to open/close. They were in the process of remodeling the hotel, per all the construction equipment in the parking lot taking up parking. Carpets looked dirty, the elevator had duct tape holding the tile down. They had breakfast which was ok except that when we got the milk from the fridge, two of the ones we grabbed smelled like it had expired. Did not drink it. Overall, I was very disappointed n this hotel.

Breakfast was good, the variety of food was outstanding. The ladies were nice and polite.

Staff and service were great! Room was clean , breakfast was excellent and close to all main attractions. Only complaint my family and I have is the pool needed to be cleaned. Trash , bugs , leaves , toilet paper and a tampon were in the water. San Antonio is a great tourist spot and family friendly!

The location was on the edge of sketchy. So close to the River Walk and yet so far from cool. The room was very humid. I kept the air conditioner on, but it felt moist all of the time. Although it was recently updated, but very poorly designed. So much space, but a lot was unusable. The Kitchenette was handy, but there was no dining room table or sofa. The bathroom had a large counter that kept the door from being opened easily. A small modification in the shape of the counter would have kept my hip from being bruised. The staff were polite and efficient.

Mary and the staff were so nice and personable! My flight was early so they allowed me to check-in to my room early and they gave me an upgrade! The hotel is going through a minor remodel and it is very nice. You must get a suite when you come visit them!

The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. Pretty sure this place has bed bugs. Only stayed one night and woke up with bug bites in several places on my skin. I'd skip this place if I were you. Better to be safe than sorry.

Building was under construction, mess everywhere. Elevator only worked half of the time and staff wouldn’t let us use the stairs because they were also under construction

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so there is construction within the hotel and less parking spaces due to the materials that are stored there. That makes for a tricky parking situation if you are driving and coming back later at night when the spaces are full (like I did). However, the front desk staff was super helpful. I arrived a couple of hours earlier than check in, but unfortunately the hotel was completely packed. Ms. Mary at the front desk was able to figure something out and I was able to get checked in and be ready for where I needed to be at 3 pm. I really appreciated that.

The breakfast was delicious. Lots of variety. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff is very friendly and personable especially Aracely! Our stay was terrific!

I had a great time staying at Holiday Inn Express. The room was clean and modern. Carlos was extra special while taking care of everyone at the desk. Even though he was very busy he made you feel special. He would take care of your every need. The breakfast had a variety of food and it tasted good. I would definitely recommend this hotel

The room was great. We were traveling with another couple so we got a 2 bed suite. The living area was comfortable enough for 4 adults to visit, watch tv and sip cocktails. It’s our favorite hotel when we are in town for the rodeo.

The room was very clean, attractive and functional. The only problem with the hotel at this time is that it is being remodeled so there is a bit of construction mess and the parking is limited.

Location is convenient to Alamo Dome and convention center but the facility is “under construction” which is not expressed in any hotel information. I stayed at this same location last year, and the hotel was “under construction” at that time. The hot tub did not work last year, still doesn’t. Parking lot is small and hard to get out of.

The staff was very courteous and the included breakfast was very good!

Staff was friendly, but the room was hot we had to go buy a fan. We put the AC to 66 which was lowest it would go but room was hot and when AC was running it was very loud and made a rattling noise.

Three different rooms in 3 nights. We were promised a discount for all the trouble but when we checked out they said that since we booked through hotels.com that they couldn’t refund us anything.

Great location for Paul McCartney concert at Alamodome. Easy walk there and to Riverwalk.

Easy access to downtown. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was excellent each day.

The front desk was very sweet. The walls looked like it needed new paint or a good cleaning (black smear marks on walls) and then the bathroom had a lot of rust. Also I don’t know if it’s because of the renovations they had recently or are ongoing but the rooms were very hot even with the AC on we had to request a fan.

Rode in on Amtrak and it's a very short walk from the Amtrak station to the holiday inn rivercenter. We came in around 11 pm but still felt safe waiting to check in. Very friendly staff and excellent clean and spacious rooms. We will definitely return when back in San Antonio

The property was clean, employees were very nice and friendly. The property was affordable and the placement of the property was in a good location close to Downtown, San Antonio. The breakfast was inviting and there was plenty of good selections. All in Alll I will be back!!

Check-in took over 15 mins because there was only one person there. The street noice was terrible at night with many car racing.

Everything was really good. Room was spacious, clean. The only thing was the tv wasnt working due to new install and we couldnt use it for the 3 day stay.

Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Looks like the hotel is going through a renovation, so some areas were a bit dirty/dusty and the common areas were warm. The hot tub was also out of order, which was fine, but having caution tape was a little disconcerting. Location was great for what we needed, but there was some traffic noise. Parking lot is cramped due to construction materials. Staff was nice, and breakfast was hot.

The front desk was very nice and our request were completed each day. But the only thing we hated was our request to be away from the elevator wasn't done. We were the first room when you get off the evevator. We heard every person that got off morning to midnight.

We were not impressed with the breakfast. We had a very warm room when we arrived and had to get management involved. They did “reset” the ac and it worked fine the remainder of the stay.

The room was amazing, better than I was accepting. It was only me and my 2 young kids. The room could easily hold 8 people.

The hotel itself was nice, the area it is located is not. Even though it’s a short walk to the River Walk, didn’t feel safe doing it. No restaurants around.

Super spacious, separate seating area with little kitchenette, sink is outside the bathroom, amenities provided in bottles on the bathroom wall so you don’t have to bring any ( though we always bring Bec not all hotels provide well and I don’t like having to ask for stuffs)

Spacious room, friendly service from staff throughout our stay, and surprisingly quiet for being so close to the Riverwalk. Kudos to Daisy for the friendly welcome at check-in.

Property is in a convenient location. Otherwise, I’d say pretty much avoid. Rooms were fairly clean, but the hotel drastically needs updating. There are homeless people walking through the parking lot and around the outside of the parking lot. My kids were nervous. Parking is very limited and at night it’s almost impossible to find a parking spot.
