Best bed and pillows by far of any hotel I’ve stayed in Breakfast experience excellent. Wait staff very courteous and professional.

Great location Can be loud at times

All staff, from the valet to the front desk to the bar/restaurant at the riverwalk all hotel personnel were very welcoming, polite and respectful. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay very relaxing. Kudos to the entire staff at the Hilton Palace Del Rio. Also, the hotel room was very nice, especially the balcony which was very relaxing.

What’s not wheelchair assessable. Could not go out on the balcony. The TV stand and desk blocked the door.

Everything was nice. The only problem we had was at check in. The computers were down, so it took a little longer to get checked in.

The only thing was I had reserved a room with a view of the Tower of America not knowing a building had been built in front of it... But I was giving a room of the Riverwalk which had a view of the city, so I was glad they gave me that, better than the other view of a hotel.

One of the best hotel says I have ever had. Clean, quiet, friendly, and I was so thrilled to have an espresso machine in my room! I will stay here again when I visit San Antonio.

Great location! The hotel is right on the Riverwalk. Room was nice and clean. The staff was very professional and kind. The bar lounge offered a variety of drinks and the bartender was amazing. Will definitely stay here every time we go to San Antonio.

Great location near the Riverwalk nice clean hotel has a bar downstairs that’s convenient. A little convenient store inside is convenient. Also close to CBS if you need some more personal items I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant inside but there’s plenty of restaurants nearby beautiful view beautiful view from the balcony.

As always enjoyed the stay! It was our 50 th wedding anniversary and enjoyed the he riverwalk and how close everything is. A variety of restaurants to choose from was exciting to try new ones. We will b back!!

Breakfast was good many options as soon as you walk into the breakfast area you are greeted by staff they ask you what you want to drink and bring it to your table.

As a family of 5 we booked two connecting rooms. This let us see direct differences in rooms. One had minor details different, soap holder vs not, different functioning shower/bath faucets, etc. you can tell the rooms are dated but they are clean and smell fresh and views are great. Really appreciated the water dispensers. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Valet was great. Restaurant that was part of the hotel, staff weren’t friendly or inviting so we did not eat to know how food was. Plenty of nearby places to eat so we just went other places. The pool was dated and dark, those of our family that didn’t swim and just sat in patio furniture were bitten up by something all over lower legs. Overall we did enjoy our stay and would stay again.

Both pools were closed minutes before an pre booked event. Parking prices are ridiculous and not posted. I didn't learn about it until after checking in. Views are hit or miss. There was a giant roach in the hall way in front of our room. My roommate killed it but left it there and remained there the duration of our stay. Meaning carpeted hallways are not vacuumed. I misplaced an ítem in my room but ended up finding a couple of kids toys. Definitely confirming rooms aren't vacuumed or cleaned well. I always wanted to stay at the River with a balcony. But unfortunately wasn't the best experience. Don't recommend.

Very clean piece of property. The only problem was that they could not find my reservation that was booked through. Expedia took a good 20 to 30 minutes to get this. Figured out was tired from traveling. So it was discouraging having to wait around 20-30 minutes to let them figure out and find my reservation. Other than that it was a good day. Thank you.

I have not received a copy of the bill. I was told at check put it would be emailed. It has not been.

Great location on the river walk. Really enjoyed the British bar near by- amazing burgers. The buckhorn museum was fun and close by. Hotel staff were great, used valet as it was easier. Front desk quick and nice. Would stay again.

The staff were very helpful and provided us with the best experience. The pool was clean and my kiddos enjoyed the use of the pool. Plenty of staff on hand walking the pool area and observing the area. We asked for a late check out and the staff were very polite and said “sure no problem”. Very pleased and will be back next summer for two nights.

Overall, everything was pretty great. The only thing I didn’t really care for is having to pay $60 for valet parking.

Nice hotel on the river walk with multiple dining options. Food was so so. Generally people were nice, but miscommunication about the car and valet was annoying-Teslas need a keycard and a code, they called the room not the guest cell to ask for keycard which they had and then yelled that they needed it now! Excuse me? Hair in shower and coffee maker wasn’t plugged in or even NEAR an outlet…. Don’t make me think at 6am…. Comfy room and bed but the street noise at night will keep you up- hence ear plugs on your night stand, get a room facing the river.

Everything was clean and well kept. Staff was excellent, friendly and courteous even though they were overwhelmed with the extremely large amount of quest in for the July 4 celebration. The only problem we encountered was getting our car. There were so many guests wanting their vehicle and with the parade going on, it did take extra time to get it.

The views from this hotel are simply amazing - S. Alamo on the streetside and the Riverwalk on the back side. Incredible food options in the hotel and within a few steps. You cannot go wrong here, regardless of why you're in San Antone!

Pay daily for WiFi? Check. Pay $65 for valet and wait 15-20 minutes for your car and your driver is expecting a tip? Check. Elevator so slow and congested that you have to take 9 flights of stairs down with two small children? Check. It felt like we were constantly nickel and dimed here. The best part was being right on the Riverwalk… I guess that’s why we payed the premium.

The only reason I booked the hotel was for the pool so my kids could swim, and when we arrived after already paying they informed me that the pool was undergoing maintenance. Very disappointing they should have let me know before I booked.

Great location. Would like to have seen less politically motivated movement signs, especially with children. But it was overall a great experience!

Waiting time to get valet parked car was about 45 minutes. Wait time to get o elevator was long. Too many people and not enough elevators.

We loved our stay at Hilton Del palacio! From the moment you are greeted by Valet the staff is so attentive. The amenities at this hotel and location are the best! You are right off the river walk so many choices for restrants and entertainment steps away from your hotel. The riverwalk boat tour is also across from the hotel. Great location! The room and over all hotel were immaculately clean. We did get a balcony room. we were able to hear a band playing from 1 of the nearby restaurant which was nice. The breakfast included with our stay was good you could order off the menu or choose there breakfast buffet. And the restaurant was off the riverwalk and has patio seating.

Staff was super friendly. Check-in is at 4pm. However we had to take a very early flight and arrived at the hotel around 9:30am. The staff was able to check us in early and it was perfect as we were tired and wanted to freshen up before exploring. The breakfast was delicious and I am only sorry we could not eat there more. Overall the location is perfect and the main attractions are within reasonable walking distance. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and we will stay here again if we get the opportunity to return.

The room had a musty smell and the shower was a little mildewed. We visited the pool for a little bit but some other people came in and were splashing everyone. Our air conditioner was broken but the staff quickly repaired it which was great!

No signage with directions to the pool. Once there the pool dated, cloudy and dirty. The bathtub was old and permanently stained. Long hairs were in the tub when I arrived and stayed for 2 days until I removed them on the 3rd day.

It is our third time visiting San Antonio, we have stayed in different hotels, we liked this hotel very much, since you arrive it looks very clean and the staff is very attentive. The only problem we had were the elevators, the hotel has four elevators but apparently only two worked, we stayed on the 14th floor, every time we wanted to use the elevator they were already full and we had to wait between 10 or 20 minutes to be able to go up, the disgust was seen in all the other people. Everything else is fine.

Location location location. This was a short walk to everything we wanted to do 5-8 min walk. Everyone was so nice from the check in to the cleaning staff to the valets. The only thing that that was a problem was the elevators. Every time the elevators opened they were full and we had to cram in. When we went to check out at 10 am Sunday we waited 30 min for an elevator then finally carried our bags down 7 flights of stairs. So either get up and out early or pack light but we would still stay here again. We loved it.

in room dining was slow, not hot & served with plasticware & disposable dishes—not my idea of a nice hotel!

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a fantastic location. I would definitely stay here again. The only issue was the noise from the street-facing room at night. Earplugs were provided, which was a nice touch, but I didn't discover them until the next day—oops!

Room was ok, balcony ok. Refrigeration is out of order. So our food spoiled. Ice machine needs cleaning and needs filter. Particles can be seen on ice. Dirty water may be but yellow particles are really gross.

Best place to stay on the riverwalk. The hotel is in the middle of the riverwalk and easy access to restaurants. The riverwalk boat tour is a 2 min walk. The breakfast buffet is amazing. Staff makes an omelette your way, endless bacon & sausage, fruit, and the view of the riverwalk if you eat outside. An absolute amazing place to stay and the only place I will stay when visiting San Antonio

Everything was centrally located. Riverwalk was beautiful

The hotel staff were so nice. Downside is that for the price, the furniture was a bit shabby and the pipes clanged and rattled in the walls when we showered. The restaurant downstairs was pricy for breakfast and while it looked good, the food was only mediocre.

I moved over to the Hilton after there was a water main break at the Grand Hyatt.. and I have to say, I regret that I wasn't just staying at the Hilton the whole time. The staff was SO kind to me after I was already having a rough day. My room was ready right away, there were so many staff there to help me and greet me. I was so so grateful for the Hilton staff and the location. I can't give enough thanks!

Nice property everything is walking distance

There was a severe storm Tuesday night which apparently caused the outdoor pool to be closed for two days. I'd still recommend staying at this hotel.

The location was a primary reason for staying there. Room was dated. For $59 daily , the valet service was horrible. Even requesting your car ahead of time needed you still wait over 40 min for your car as if they parked it in a different city. Just disappointed with the service and amenities offered.

The room is clean and spacious with balcony. The location is great, just in the heart of riverwalk. The elevator can go down to the riverwalk, and boat tour just nearby the building, very convenient. The breakfast buffet is good. We stayed two nights, satisfied.

Clean room nice staff good stay overall and if you plan to dine in it took 45 mins, and cost 50 dollars for a cold pizza and burger

The only issues we had were the sink and tub with extremely slow drain. They water pressure in the shower was also faint. We did notify the staff member about the issues at checkout and she said they will send maintenance. We enjoyed the beautiful hotel and all the amenities the place had to offer.
