Beautiful hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms, right on the River Walk but in a quieter area. The livelier restaurants and attractions are an easy walk away. The hotel also has two restaurants and three great bars, so you don’t even have to leave to enjoy a good meal or cocktail. Great location and definitely worth it!

staff, location, The shower in my hotel room didn’t seem to be working properly. Water was coming out of both the tub spout and the showerhead at the same time, and the water pressure from the showerhead was very low. It seemed like there may have been a clog or an issue with the diverter

Very nice stay. Was busy with all the different events happening, and the cost was higher than every other night that month but it was nice for proximity to Alamodome.

Great service, they receive you with cocktails or water infusion. great location, and they have a very nice restaurant "ruth", the same hotel staff put the reservation at the restaurant, great steaks and wine. the river walk was just at the hotel door. I like the breakfast too.

It was a lovely hotel and nice common area, but it lacked the most important part of a hotel stay - a bed. Staff was kind and professional, but I’m not sure I would return.

Great Hotel , amazing location

Great room, staff and location but the air conditioner was less than desired. We sweated all night long. We thought it was just us, but there were other people in the elevator complaining about it too. With that said, and all things considered, I would stay there again. Just be prepared to sweat if the air conditioner is not working well.

The Grand Hyatt was right on the walking access to the River Walk which made it easy to get to restaurants and shopping.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10! We had a wonderful stay. The location couldn't have been better—it was so convenient to walk to the Alamodome, and everything we needed was just minutes away. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Antonio!

The staff was great from the greeting to the check out. We got complementary bottled water, margaritas and $20 a day to spent on food. The room was clean and we had a view of the Tower of America. The door man greeted us as we pulled up to check in.

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hyatt! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and in a great location. The staff was friendly, the rooms were comfortable, and everything was well maintained. We especially enjoyed the pool and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The hotel was very busy with guests checking in for a major concert, so parking was a little chaotic for a while. Once we got through that, though, everything went smoothly. The staff was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Check-out was quick and easy, and they happily accommodated our late check-out request with a smile, which we really appreciated. Our only complaint was the room temperature. We had the thermostat set as low as it would go. The A/C would cycle on and cool the room while it was running, but it never seemed to maintain that temperature once it shut off. We ended up waking up overheated several times during the night. It wasn't enough to ruin our stay, but it's something worth mentioning. Overall, we had a very positive experience. The outstanding view, excellent customer service, and easy check-in/check-out made for a pleasant stay. We'd definitely choose this hotel again and hope the A/C issue was just unique to our room.

We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hyatt Hotel during the 4th of July holiday weekend. The concierge desk clerk was very professional and efficient during check in. She also gave us complimentary margaritas. So refreshing. We enjoyed the pool area with a live show and good ole fashioned hamburgers, hot dogs, and pasta time ice cream. We will return to this location for another weekend getaway.

Stay was great, bed was comfortable, pillows looked puffy, but once your head hits them, they become flat and uncomfortable. The staff was amazing. Roudy teenagers in the pool, they were acting horribly, a police officer (or armed security guard) walked by, and some hotel staff too, but never told them anything. They sort of ruined the pool experience, but other than that, all was great.

Maybe because it was 4th of July I did not get the high quality experience. The front staff was very nice and helpful. Valet parking took over an hour upon arrival. I had security knock at my door at 3am saying there was complaints that my dog was barking since 3pm when I did not even check in till 6:30pm. It did not add up, my hallway was loud all night due to people coming back from concert. Elevators took so long had to use stairs several times. I’m sure this place is great but I did not have that experience.

I was not impressed by the FDAs during check-in. It was our first time in the area and hotel. We had several questions regarding the festivities- I was pretty disappointed that FDA really wasn’t informative. Once we got to our room there were several hairs from the last guest :/ located in the bathroom. Our room was nice size but was dusty in some places. Extremely disbursing was the pool area, we left our belongings and pool towels on our lounge chairs- as we left to our room to grab more sunscreen and waters - our chairs were taken by other guests!!!!! After paying 1k for our short stay that was ridiculous!! And breakfast was not included! Second night went back to the FDA to ask again about the festivities this time they were rude! Talking over my husband as he asked questions! Never ever again will we stay at this hotel! We felt like we were nobody’s… paying a hefty price you think we would have gotten better QUALITY of service and perhaps breakfast. Just FYI- hotel please make arrangements prior to your guests arriving during a busy weekend - do better in all areas..

Rooms were clean. Elevators could be cleaned more often during the day.

It was hectic because of the FBLA convention, but that wasn’t a big deal - just thousands of teenagers. lol The only negative was the Moda restaurant. We had a wonderful waiter named Gilbert, but we had hair in our pancakes and both times we ordered pancakes they were burned badly on the bottom. The location is perfect if you’re traveling with kids. There is SO much to do in the area.

The room was not clean upon arrival. We noticed dirty surfaces, an unclean bathroom, and overall poor housekeeping, which made us uncomfortable during our stay. For the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and service.

I fully understand the importance of guest security and identity verification. However, despite correctly verifying my personal information on file and offering additional forms of verification, including Apple ID facial recognition from my phone, there appeared to be little willingness to consider reasonable alternatives because I did not physically have my ID in hand. What made the interaction particularly uncomfortable was being told security would follow me to my room, which felt unnecessary and humiliating given my efforts to verify my identity. The tone and professionalism of the interaction left much to be desired, and I did not feel treated with courtesy, empathy, or respect. To make matters worse, I also experienced duplicate charges of approximately $1,300 each during my stay, which remains unresolved at the time of writing. I expected a much higher level of professionalism, customer service, and problem solving from a hotel of this caliber. I hope management reviews both the handling of guest interactions and billing concerns to ensure future guests are treated with greater professionalism and respect.

Beautiful hotel and convenient to the convention center. I really enjoyed my stay. I wish that I could have stayed longer.

The rooms are a little small in terms of room size compared to the price; however, the air conditioning worked flawlessly and the bed was comfortable with a soft mattress and lots of pillows. The shower provided a lot of great amenities like body wash and shampoo. The pool on the rooftop was nice to relax in.

Beautiful area of the city. The hotel was clean, and we'll maintained. We ate at steakhouse and the Italian restaurants. Both were great. Expensive but thats to be expected. The only thing that sucks is their parking fees. I had to pay 58 bucks per night, as a guest!

The rooms could be cleaner. I’m a bit OCD and toilet around rim dirty. Easy to clean just need to scrub. Also comforter was black however it was covered with clean duvet. But hotel needs to clean comforters also every so often.

The room condition is old and does not reflect the four-star Grand Hyatt grading. Lacks basic amenities like kettle, tooth brush or tooth paste in the room.

Excellent all around. Grab and go cafe was particularly strong. Literally attached to HGB conference center but across the street from riverwalk. Only qualm was a 20oz coke was almost 6$

It was alright. Considering this is the Grand Hyatt and we have been their patrons such as in the UAE/Dubai, India etc, we were quite disappointed. Check-in was good and though rooms looked dated. Housekeeping was good and prompt. Breakfast was terrible. Although our server Gilbert was excellent, the check in at the breakfast area was less said the better. Overall, I dont think we will go back to this hotel.

Called front desk upom entering the room. And in very few words just stated. We do not have the room you booked.and just stated a very false " i am.sorry" The price paid for the entire stay was not.worth the experience Will not stay there next time we visit San Antonio. We will stay with Hilton experience

The lobby area was so beautiful and the checkin employees were so nice and gave us compliment margaritas at check in. We loved the view of the city. Unfortunately they gave us a room where the ac wasn’t working properly we were hot and couldn’t sleep all night u can see they didn’t clean the side tables there was drink dry sticky rings for what we paid total the rooms should have been cleaned right and the ac should have been working right we didn’t sleep good at all due to the ac not functioning properly. We paid 279 for the room 75 for incidental, 60 for parking, 30 for destination fee
