Drury Inn & Suites San Antonio Riverwalk

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel's social amenities, particularly the Manager's Kickback. It created a welcoming vibe and a sense of community. It set a wonderful tone for our stay, and we will definitely be back.

Staff very friendly and helpful, access right out to river walk.

WE STAYED ONE NIGHT TO HAVE DINNER WITH FAMILY ON OUR WAY TO THE BEACH. IT WAS SPACIOUS & CLEAN. RECOMMEND!

Wow! This place is great. Breakfast has a great variety and the light refreshments for dinner were actually a full dinner. You can save a ton of money by just having breakfast and dinner here and then lunch out. The room was very clean and the terrace was so fantastic for watching the riverwalk. The staff was always helpful and kind. It’s a great location on the Riverwalk. Easy walk to restaurants and the Alamo. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

I understand that this property is beginning an upgrade. What needs work is the parking garage. It's not accessible, no direct elevator access at any level, so unable to use luggage dollys unless you drop it at the check-in door (unsupervised) or try to hug the wall and park while you unpack and take it to your room. Also, not enough handicapped spaces and spaces are too small for today's vehicles, mostly SUVs and trucks.

Carpet in hallways looked dirty and had pieces of trash most of the time. Property's scent is not very appealing.

Great parking, super clean room and great bed. Only hotel has an evening meal with drinks. Breakfast was great too. Stay there every time in San antonio

My favorite hotel on the Riverwalk! They are closing for renovations so I'm excited to see what it will be like with it reopens next year.

Definitely worth staying here. Will be back. I was upgraded to a complementary balcony hotel. The access to the riverwalk and other areas are super easy and close. Definitely worth it

The staff was outstanding!!! The hotel amenities are fun and pampering Great location I would only say some old age is showing, the carpets are stained, not a fresh stain and not something a well intentional cleaning person can tackle, this requires a corporate decision to deep clean the rooms with adequate machinery. I would come again

Everything was amazing. The hotel came a little more expensive than others but it kind of compensates with the daily breakfast and the happy hour in the evening. Breakfast could be batter if they changed it a bit more.

Excellent hotel with great amenities! Being right on the riverwalk was so convenient and we really enjoyed our stay. Will absolutely stay here again on our next trip.

Very good location. Everything was clean and we enjoyed all the meals available as well as the complimentary drinks. Lots of fun and the rooftop pool is great!

I loved the convenience of being right on the Riverwalk. Convenience of all of our outings were 1 to 6 blocks from the hotel. Walking distance was all safe. Above ground and below ground! Kickback hour was so enjoyable!!! Thank you for a wonderful time.

Great customer service. Breakfast was great and the happy hour in the evening was a great treat too.

Clean room and comfortable bedding. Breakfast and Kickback were convenient and delicious, but I would like to see more food variety. All staff members were polite and helpful. Location was ideal for catching a play at Majestic Theatre and a river boat cruise. Lots of good restaurants in the area to choose from.

The over night stay was as good as expected. Parking garage is only 6’6 so be mindful of that. We had to park a few blocks away from the property.

Room was great. Perfect for a one-day stay. Mother and sisters loved the place. Breakfast was amazing.

Great location. Right on the River Walk. Parking onsite reasonable. The hotel also offered light dinner and three free drinks and of course had the typical breakfast buffet each day. Staff members extremely helpful!

We enjoyed our stay here. We appreciated the off-street parking and the proximity to the Riverwalk (the elevator opens right onto it). There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby and the Alamo is only a short walk. The hotel itself is spacious and clean. Our room was clean and had cool finishes and vaulted ceilings. We missed breakfast but it surely smelled delicious. Customer service here is a 10/10. The manager was really friendly and everyone was helpful with directions and recommendations. Great place to stay.

Great hotel

From the moment we checked in to check out, the experience was way beyond expectations. As advertised, our room came with complementary what they called kick up, which was supposed to be light hors d’oeuvres, but actually was a full meal and included three free cocktails or sodas per adult. The next morning included breakfast was also wonderful. The view of the river was enchanting in the room was quiet and clean. We have become Drury people as a result of staying at this hotel!!! the manager was also exceptional and explained they would be closing soon for a renovation, but their other property would be open and running to receive guest in the same area. Stay here! You will be well fed, and well slept!

Clean room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but the evening food and drinks was delicious saved me money. Parking garage was not as expensive as other hotels downtown. Easy access to the Riverwalk and shops. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent everything loved it

I would give this property 5 stars except I have an issue with theft. For the most part, our stay was great! However, on our final night, there was a fire alarm issue so we decided to check out and drive 5 hours home at approx 11pm. When we left, unfortunately we left a bag of concert T-shirts in the closet in our haste to get out of the loud alarms. At 3:00am, when we realized we had left them, we immediately called and asked for someone to go look and that I was willing to pay to get those sent to us. After being told that NO ONE had entered the room since we left, they stated they were not there. We know they were in fact in that room. If you can’t hire trustworthy people, then I don’t want to stay at your establishment.

The staff were super friendly. We thought the dinner appetizers and drinks were great! Breakfast could have been a little better. The parking garage is small.

Drury Inn and Suites riverwalk has been our go to hotel everytime we’re in San Antonio. The best location, breakfast is always good and the night time kickback dinner is always appreciated. The building may be old, but it’s always clean and the employees are always welcoming.

Stayed here 1 night with 3 other women to celebrate my 50th! We had gotten a 2 queen bed w/ sofabed room. We all fit comfortably. Beautiful older historic building. Ceilings were low. So if you are a taller than 6ft person, it may be tight. Rooms & halls are bigger than expected. But do need some updating. Best part was you are right on river! Our balcony even had view of river. Happy hour offers drink cards but line was too long to wait. Breakfast was spread out so everyone was not in 1 area. All in all it was good stay. Would stay here again.

Room was clean and appeared as advertised. Staff was always present and working to ensure guests comfort and needs. As a family with growing boys we were very pleased with the complimentary breakfast and dinner everyday.

The beds was kind of hard but other than that it was an awesome experience. This was the first time I have ever stayed in this hotel. The parking spot was narrow and driving through the garage was narrow as well.

The complimentary breakfast was great, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel also offered dinner. That ended up saving us a lot of money during our stay, which was a huge plus. Overall, we had a good experience and would consider staying here again.

It was a very nice stay, the windows are gorgeous and the pm dinner eats: a highlight of our stay. The only complaint was how hot the room was and how long it took to get it to 68 degrees for bedtime. We slept okay but were twisting and turning cause of the heat. Aside from that it was a very nice hotel. Thank you.

Great central location. Would stay again. The only problem was the parking lot. Very small spaces and not enough of them. But really wonderful stay!

I loved that is right next to the Riverwalk. The choices in the breakfast buffet were very diverse for all ages. The kick-back everyday at 5:30 saves you money. All the staff members whom I interacted with were very helpful and knowledgeable.

We love staying at this location. It is very convenient for us. Everything is close by. She staff is always so friendly and willing to help out when needed.

Best location ever. Breakfast was great. Clean rooms. Secure doors everywhere. The only downfall is the very small parking spaces and height limit.

Very convenient location. Breakfast was great, staff was very nice. Only thing to be aware of is parking, they only allow 1 vehicle per room, so if you’re meeting someone you might want to double check parking availability with the hotel. Also, if your vehicle is taller than a standard sized truck it may not fit.

We love this place!

We enjoyed our stay at Drury Inn San Antonio. The food and Drinks were good. Our room was clean and comfortable and we could enter the riverwalk from the 1st floor of the hotel. Would stay there again

Its good but for breakfast everyday are same。

Room was good but bathroom was too small. Parking garage spaces are too close and you can't open your door when in between other cars. No late checkout allowed. Complimentary breakfast was good. Evening free drinks and snacks was very good. Did not like the marketing ploy of room being with balcony over looking the river walk. The rooms overlook the river but not the river walk. The Omni mansion is better for same price, overlooks the river walk, bigger bathrooms and parking garage.

The staff were very helpful and courteous. The room was clean and everything worked. Double queen w Terrace overlooking the Riverwalk was spacious. The FREE 5:30 kickback with 3 free happy hour drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) per person per night stay along with the snacks and dinner (Friday we were there was chicken fajita bar, salad bar, soup bar with all the fixings) was definitely the best perk for our stay. They also have free continental breakfast every morning as well. Although we did not make it to breakfast, if the spread is anything like the kickback, it's good! Access to Riverwalk from hotel. Parking is onsite but very very tight. Trucks (F-250 and large SUV's will not fit) Best for compact, mid-size and small SUV's. Walking distance to everything in downtown.

Excellent place, with a great location right by the river. The staff provided spectacular service, and the amenities offered are fantastic. The only issue is that the parking area has very low clearance, making it unsuitable for large vehicles, and they really should warn guests about this in advance.

Access to the river was convenient and it was close to other things such as the Alamo/parks/etc There were a ton of horse carriages around too We would stay again !

This hotel was very clean and well kept. The free breakfast has a large variety of foods and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. The rooms a very nice and the breakfast and cocktail hour was very impressive. The only negative I found was the check in parking. They would benefit greatly with having a staff member outside to guide incoming guests with how to check in so a parking jam does not exist with existing guests. But San Antonio has a parking issue in general so this hotel is doing the best it can.

The breakfast is outstanding! I would highly recommend this hotel.

Worst parking ever!!!

The initial night was fine. The young lady a the desk was very nice and provided us with extra towels. The room was decent. But by the second night which was our last night my wife, daughter, and I am had random bites on us. That is disturbing to know and I've been paying very close attention at home now to make sure we didn't bring anything home with us. This does not make me happy at all. This was not our first time staying at this particular hotel but I'm thinking it might be our last day to say because it's a great location😑

ok for a night stay but property needs an upgrade

It is probably time for a remodel. The hotel was old, dark, and musty smelling. It is a nice hotel, but it is definitely time to be updated. I do really like to stay at Drury Inns. The location on the River Walk was excellent and the staff was very friendly. It is one of the few hotels on the River Walk that you do not have to valet your car.

I was told by the front desk that arrangement for transportation to the airport was made but none was arranged. Again, when I called the front desk, no response.

Cons: Toilets did not flush well and the bathroom was tiny. Parking garage was difficult to drive and park in. Due to a sports event and tour guides with loud microphones, it was very noisy until at least 11 PM. The hotel has no control over this, but if this will bother you, you should check whether there will be sporting events during your stay.

A little dated however the amenities were amazing! Great location and spacious room. Delicious breakfasts, great coffee all day and the Kickback at 5:30 pm were all excellent perks. Highly recommend.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Very good breakfast and the afternoon reception. Onsite parking is great. The location is excellent, you can get to the river walk directly from the basement level.

Hot breakfast would have been really good except the ac got it cold half way through.

Great experience

We understand this is a pet friendly hotel but there should be a separate area for people with dogs and areas for people with out them. I think its fair for everyone that stays at Drury to be able to rest comfortably at night.
