Drury Inn & Suites Near La Cantera Parkway

The area around it is under extreme construction but the hotel itself was wonderful.

This hotel experience was amazing. The staff were super helpful and accommodating. The facilities were beautiful and clean. Loved the indoor pool and hot tub area and the outdoor guest terrace. The continental breakfast was not really a continental breakfast, but instead was a FULL breakfast buffet, and it was delicious!

Quarry nearby and construction made the overnight less peaceful.

We stayed 5 nights. Everything was excellent. Breakfast was nothing fancy but great selection and spacious. Room was large and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Road construction and detours made it a little tricky for a newbie like me but figured it out eventually.

Very nice place if you’re afraid they are going to rob you that’s a place to stay

Rooms are huge

The room was beautiful BUT.... not clean. There was leftover hair on the shower wall and on the sheets. I didn't call because my kids were already going to sleep and I didn't want the disturbance of people coming in to make the bed again. There was hair on the sheet under the pillow and several spread throughout the bed between the sheets. It was definitely disgusting especially being in the 2 bedroom suite.

Outstanding staff. Every single staff member was always courteous and kind no matter what their role was.

Friendly & helpful customer service, clean property, amenities & room, free parking in the garage, free breakfast, and snacks & drinks during the complimentary kickback, all at a very reasonable nightly! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Drury Inn La Cantera and would stay there again!

Very friendly staff

The complimentary breakfast was also really good with plenty of options. I didn't have enough time to check out the pool during this trip, but it looked nice, and I'll definitely make time for it the next time I stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would happily stay here again!

Place nice but elevator had issues during our stay, took forever to get down from top floor and they were not fast.

OVERALL this was an EXCELLENT choice I made for my family. Front desk was awesome, the room was perfect and breakfast was great, I’m sad we couldn’t make it for the snack time because I’m sure it was great as well. That garage parking was it for me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I had to add a portable bed because my child likes to sleep alone but they had it in our room for us in no time. NO COMPLAINTS HERE!

We have been choosing Drury Inn at La Cantera for the proximity to Fiesta Texas for several years. We have always enjoyed our stay despite the difficulties with construction and the elevators. The hotel staff is polite and helpful. The rooms are clean, the kickbacks are a bonus as well. The breakfast is always good and offer a variety of options. However this particular incident with a breakfast server left us very disappointed. One particular server refused to allow a child to get breakfast. I understand that breakfast is served at the hours stated. It was about 10 minutes after breakfast serving time ended but the area was still full of people and the breakfast servers were trying to clean up. However this staff member in particular refused to allow a child to get any food because it was past the time and she was cleaning up. She declined the child breakfast despite the child asking and despite the fact there was still plenty of food left. My husband was very disappointed to see that an adult refused to allow a child from getting food. I understand the times for breakfast are stated clearly but the area was still full of people, there was still plenty of food left. It’s one thing to turn an adult away but to do that to a child really hits hard. I know my husband will remember that the next time we’re looking for a nearby hotel to Fiesta Texas.

Lots of construction around the area which made accessing a bit challenging. The elevators were super slow since they served the garage and the guest floors. The rooms were standard and the breakfast was warm. Overall 3.75/5.0

Hotel was super clean and staff was friendly. Food and drinks were delicious. The only bad thing I can say was the elevators were too slow. There was always a line to go up and down.

They closed Applebees but the food for dinner and breakfast is always great

The pool was dirty...water was very murky...this should not happen with an indoor pool. Aside from this, the hotel was outstanding.

Clean room, free breakfast, free dinner, three free alcoholic beverages per adult starting at 5:30 PM. We had a wonderful stay.

The happy hour is way more than expected! 3 drinks and a good variety of items.

Everybody was super friendly. Things were done on time the food that you get there for free for breakfast and dinner is excellent. It’s not five star quality, but it is good and it is abundant. It’s a buffet style. You can serve yourself as many times as you want, and you get to drink tickets when you go and so anyways we just went for the weekend. Everything turned out wonderfully it was close to my son’s house and close to the Medical Center and close to La Cantera, which is a huge shopping complex across the highway all in all I will return.

The bed & pillows were over the top comfortable. Television had plenty of viewing channels. Bathtub/shower was spacious, with great soap, shampoo, etc. There was ample hot water, & plenty of towels. Additional blankets would have been great. This is not a complaint, just a friendly observation. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful, selection was varied & all was delicious!

Also no air in the parking garage elevator areas, the air conditioners appeared to be broken. Also long wait time to get on an elevator with no air. Refrigerator broken in the room, had to call to have it replaced.

The location seemed like it wasnt going to be great because of road construction. But it wasnt even an issue the 1604 loop is easily accessible. The property is well kept and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. On a side note the Applebee's connected to the hotel is closed permanently. Luckily theres plenty of places to eat nearby. La Cantera shopping center is a 5min drive. The breakfast buffet on property is excellent plenty of choices. The same can be said about the 5:30 pm kickback. There was plenty of food to eat. It actually came in handy for convenience and saving some money. The parking is a covered multi level garage. I will definitely stay here again.

The rooms are nothing fancy they are just ok the staff at front desk are not very helpful and kinda rude if I had to come back to San Antonio I would stay somewhere else

Great amenities including not the typical hotel amenities like afternoon buffet with alcoholic beverages included and upper level covered patio! Spacious bedroom and bathroom, and upper level parking spaces. And more importantly, staffs were friendly, helpful and hardworking!

We arrived one hour before the afternoon amenities but having the market in the lobby was a plus but prices were high. I didn’t use the spa because looks the water dirty.

Beautiful hotel, my only complaints are minor as far as small not very comfortable pillows, TV kept going in and out of reception and hair dryer did not work. Other than that it was a nice stay with breakfast and dinner and drinks included.

This place was nice clean and friendly. Only thing is the CONSTRUCTION!! It’s a nightmare! Also, the pool is EXTREMELY cold. To cold to enjoy a swim

The hotel was very well maintained. The front desk were very friendly. Andrew was able to assist us with an early check in due to the rain. Park was close early. There is alot of construction going specially in that area. Overall we are great accommodations.

We had a unique natural disaster yesterday and the staff went silent. They allowed people to eat breakfast next to the windows as a tornado jumped past us when the alarms were going off to shelter. I gathered my group and moved to an interior area for their safety. Better communication in an emergency situation would have been helpful and not assuming that patrons know what to do in that type of situation. Herding customers into an interior location would have been helpful. I stayed at a resort days prior to this stay that had constant texting communication for everything: elevator isn’t working, do you need towels, etc…everyone has a cell phone so use it to your advantage. Plus: good breakfast, happy hour and dinner food. It came in handy when even the adjoining Applebees was closed yesterday. I’ll stay here again because it’s contracted with my work, but having employees who truly care to perform their jobs is important. Service and hospitality are important.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff was courteous and helpful. Especially the staff at the breakfast/kitchen area. Easy access go parking and any area. Had no issues. Great place to stay but the construction around the hotel is horrible.

The three elevators were all extremely slow. It had long waits which led to jam packed people inside every time.

Enjoyed our three day stay in San Antonio at the Drury. Was close to Six Flags which is what brought us to this destination in our trip. We love staying here!

The elevators weren’t working and they would take about 20 minutes to get to your room. There was a long line of people waiting for elevators. I wouldn’t use this hotel if I had kids.
