The air conditioner was out in my room. After us requesting to switch rooms the toliet was broken and wouldn’t flush in that one. There was also 2 cars with broken windows in the parking lot I paid 18 dollars for!

Everyone was very kind and helpful. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Well they only had one elevator working and it takes a long time to move they when you check out everybody wants to use it and you gotta wait a long time we had to use the stairs then the ice machine wasn’t working on the second floor The elevator want working and ice machine in second floor

Pool needed to be cleaned, TV wasn’t working, Maintenance said we didn’t know how to use it. We did. It wasn’t working, but when we went into the room when he was there, he started getting upset at us. Complaining about other maintenance issues from other guests. Very unprofessional. We also had to walk 4 flights of stairs when we checked out because the lights went out. Only one elevator and the one that was available would shake. We have stayed there three times. This will be the last time.

Elevator dysfunction made it untimely going back and forth to our room. Kind of ridiculous only one elevator was working and not to it’s full capacity.

Bedding was great! Safety box in our room was not working. Only one elevator was working, and that made it a bit uncomfortable.

The broken elevator and the one working elevator was extremely slow. Also, I’m not a fan of the bathroom doors. Those doors shouldn’t be used for bathrooms

We really enjoyed the friendliness of the reception staff as well as the proximity to the Cantera. Keep an eye on the water at the lobby— we tried getting water at the lobby one of the nights and there were some fruit flies/mosquitos near the water dispensers.

It was a busy weekend with the holiday so I understand a few things. There was only 1 working elevator. It was very shaky as well. It was very dirty. The hallways were stale and hot. Room was decent. Comforter had yellow stains and shower had hair on the wall. We went for the location to Fiesta Texas which it was fairly conveniently located.

Got the place for someone else and they did not complain

Room was clean enough, one elevator down and the one we rode in sounded like it was also about to break down. Never anyone at the bar to serve during our stay. Landscaping was awful, weeds and unmowed.

The breakfast was great also the server was very generous. Our room look very nice and cozy we didn’t want to wake up and check out.

Hotel was fine. We hadn’t stayed at a Double Tree in many, many years. The Double Tree quality wasn’t up to the standards we remembered it being in the past, but the pricing matched the stay. The AC seemed to reset a couple of times during the night and we’d have to wake up to lower the temp back down. San Antonio in general has gone downhill…all areas have their own level of sketchiness…including the La Cantera area (slightly sketchy, on a scale of none to very sketchy). On the bright side, the staff were wonderful and the room was fairly clean.

However the refrigerator didn’t work and all around the room should have a little less spartan look .. needs more glasses and more accessories in the bathroom

It is always a pleasure staying at this DoubleTree. The staff always greets us with a smile and are very helpful. The property always smells great and it is in top condition, it is honestly a home away from home. will definitely keep coming back at least once a month for a staycation :) .

I drink only herbal tea and decaf coffee but unfortunately there was none in the lobby available. There were some in the room. I thought the room came with breakfast but found out it didn’t. There are some packages that it does. Otherwise it was a very comfortable stay.

The stay was awful! The room wasn’t clean, the water pressure in the shower would come and go. Hot water what a joke. Then the bed was hard and not clean. We finally checked out and went to a different hotel it was so bad. We were told breakfast was included then found out later it wasn’t. The staff were rude and so unpleasant to deal with. I expected better from a Hilton.

Cleanliness! The food here is fabulous! The staff are all so nice! I will always stay here when I am in the area!

Great room with an excellent shower.

This place is very nice and it smells amazing. I loved that the staff were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, we got a bag with cookies and water. We were able to enjoy some drinks at the bar and by the pool.

Stayed here only overnight for a trip to Fiesta Texas ( which was very close). The beds and pillows were the most comfortable of any hotel I can remember staying in. Our room was clean and quiet. We didn’t partake in any food here so I cannot comment on that. We were warned that if we park outside of the black iron gates that we WILL be towed. We got in around midnight and there was one VERY small spot left to squeeze into. This could be very problematic. I’m not sure what I could have done if there were no spots left. They have Crabtree and Evelyn shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as lotion on the wall in dispensers. It was nice. The shower took a while to figure out how to make it hot but eventually I got it. There is a lot of construction near but I didn’t hear any of it. We just had to navigate around the construction near the hotel on the freeways a lot which made finding this hotel a bit difficult but eventually the WAZE app got us here. They allowed me to check in about an hour early. I had overdone it already on roller coasters and really needed to lay down. I very much appreciate that they allowed me to do that. Check out was way, I just handed the lady the key cards and was on my way. I’d definitely stay here again.

Our room was spacious and lovely, but the service was not great. I normally don’t care about that on vacation, but the breakfast servers got everything wrong, and the front desk people randomly disappeared. I wanted to talk to them before checking out, but there was no one there for a while and a cleaning lady was yelling at me to not walk to the front of the desk where she had just cleaned, so I just left.

I was given a rate by Expedia that wasn’t five at checkout. Very disappointed. Price always matters most.

Swimming pool was big enoigh for 5 people to comfortably be in. The inside of entire hotel was extremely noce, including room and bathroom. Its like the hotel got picked up in a tornado like the Wizard of Oz and dropped in an awful area. I wont return which is very unfortunate cause i love Doubletree properties!

Everything was great, this hotel is our favorite eveytime we go to San Antonio, super clean, excellent servive and I love the smell. Only this time hair dryer didn’t work.

Had a great experience at this DoubleTree. Location is good and near Cantera, The Rim, Six Flags, etc. Staff was excellent, food was good and overall a nice hotel plus don't forget the cookies! I stayed for a week and don't have anything negative other than the pool could have been cleaner. Decent parking as well. Outside the hotel, lots of road/construction work but not too bad. Anyway, totally recommend it.

We have stayed here before and was not disappointed the hotel is clean and the staff is friendly, and the rooms are nice. I will say even though it didn’t happen to us a few vehicles were broke into the first night of our stay. I feel like they could have better security for the gated parking lots but that is a risk you take parking over night at hotels.

It was clean, smelled good, and staff was incredible. Will definitely stay here again.

This was an excellent hotel. It is affordable and they even throw in a free breakfast for every day. It is not a buffet, but you get to order off the menu. We were very pleased with our stay at the Doubletree Northwest.

Friendly clean atmosphere! The gate is not useful because one side stays open so anyone can park there. It’s right next to an apartment complex so that was a little different but I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

THEY DONT HAVE CAMERA SURVEILLANCE IN PARKING, THEY BROKE INTO MY TRUCK, STOLE MY LIGHTS AND TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE THE INCOMPETENT STAFF DID NOT HEL FOR ANYTHING!!!!! NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN, AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET ROBBED IN YOUR SLEEP!!!! HALWAYS WERE SCORCHING HOT AS WELL, AC TOOK FOR EVER TO COOL UP THE AREA!!! HILTON HAS REALLY GONE DOWNHILL AND THAT IS EXTREMELY SAD!!!!

I loved how good it smell, a fresh and pleasant smell. It was very nice and clean. Close to a lot of restaurants and shops in a walkable area.

I am very satisfied with my stay. I had a convention to go to at the Henry Gonzales Convention Center for the International Roofing Show. The hotel was 20 minutes from the airport and about 25 minutes from the convention center.

Doubletree by Hilton in Northwest San Antonio is a very good close to destination hotel. Clean large rooms and large comfortable lobby areas with small bar and select menu restaurant with great service. Quality food. Great place to stay for business or pleasure near UTSA.

Two cars were broken into in the parking lot while checking in. It was quick. The window glass was smashed and purses and luggage were stolen in broad daylight.

The phone didn’t work in my room, so no room service. The food was subpar. But the staff is great. It’s clean as well. Wish there was good creamer in the room for coffee. Overall I would stay there again.

The walls are paper thin and you could hear your neighbor’s.my room fridge was loud as well

We had a great stay. The individual checking us in was extremely friendly and helpful. They checked in with us frequently throughout the trip to make sure our stay was going well. The only compliant I had was the shower. It took over five minutes for the water to warm up and it was very hard to get the shower water to turn off.

Interior was nice. Staff was nice for the most part. However its right behind a bunch of fast food joints and trashy corner store with no actual safe parking. First night there my vehicle was broken into. $1000 worth of damage. Couldnt get the video because the manager was the only one who could access it and they were never there. Would never stay at this hotel, or area, again

Breakfast took a long time to be served.

The stay was so good but when I left there were thousands of black ants inside and outside of my truck. It was awful. I spent an hour cleaning just the ants out and im still finding them. It was horrible.

I think it’s the “scent” they use in the lobby is off putting smells like body order. Maybe use a different sent. I have stayed there multiple times and I always smell it in the lobby, doesn’t smell great.

I liked that.The pool area was very cold and very nice and cozy. One thing that the place needs to work on is when you're going in to sit for breakfast. There's nobody there to guide you to let you know what to do.. Overall, it was an amazing place to stay at.
