Days Inn by Wyndham San Antonio Near Fiesta Park

We were there for business, the location was awesome

Loved the outdoor pool. Liked that they had options for the whole family for breakfast, even my picky eater. Check in clerk was courteous. No elevator and having to carry all the luggage up the stairs to our room. The laundry facilities were dated and could use new ones.

I travel a lot and this is one of the best motels I have ever stayed in, even in comparison to other "Days Inn." A lot of places now don't give a full breakfast, but this place did: waffles, eggs, sausage, hot coffee, juice, etc. Unlike the last motel who said they had breakfast and it was a little debbies muffin in a paper bag with a capri sun. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean with refrigerator, microwave and even a small sofa that we didn't realize that we were getting. The pool was wonderful also! I will definitely be staying at this hotel again my next time in town! Thank you for making this one of the best parts of our trip! There was nothing that I didn't like except that I had to leave.

Nothing, it was a very bad experience I walked in, and the room was very hot. I found bugs on the floor, in the bathroom, and in the bed; I immediately left and canceled my reservation. I just realized they charged me for both nights, even though I canceled right after I left.

the door to our room didnt close quite all the way, the door gaske ttrim was broken and the inside latch didnt work.

When we got into our room a roach was crawling across the pillow. The man working the desk was nice and advised I would be refunded but not sure if that has processed yet

It good front of freeway everything access easily but they have to put camera on parking lot someone crash my vehicle when I leave and fill gas on my car and see it scratched on my car rest of it everything was good only thing is someone hit my vehicle on the parking lot No camera someone hit my vehicle on the side of door

Breakfast was okay. They had bread for toast, apples, waffle maker, egg patties, sausage links, and some cereal (raisin bran and fruit loops when we were there.) and apple juice and orange juice. It was about what you'd expect for the price. Also, there was some bouse pollution. Both from cars that could be heard from the highway and other guests could be heard constantly talking or walking by the room. Walls are not thick. Or the doors aren't completely sealed.

Room was clean and property is maintained well. Good breakfast as well. Wifi connection was intermittent in between and keys weren’t working and had to be reset couple of times. Overall it was a good to stay.

You get what you pay for. So if you are just looking to sleep and this will do.Breakfast was not great. Room we were in smelled like urine and the bathroom as well. Will never stay here again.

Mold in the bathroom. Roaches. TV not working. Very very run down and smelly.

Affordable, clean, friendly, I stayed here for many time whenever I have a long travel trip.

The room was dirty. Hair and stains on towels and sheets. German roaches on the walls. Bathroom door would not close and the front door to the outside looked like it could be pushed in.

Second time staying here clean and nice staff

For a two night stay it was a good choice to stay in and literally sleep. Not noisy at all after all it is by a busy freeway. Other than a couple pillows being stained, but didn’t really matter because I always carry my own pillow when I stay in a hotel, the rest of the room was very clean. There was also a big gap on the bottom of the door that I would recommend get fixed so no bigs get in.

They changed my room from a smoking room to a non smoking room. Didn't have my room ready for 3 hours. At 8:30 pm the maintenance tryed to just barge in for what I am still unsure of Didn't get an apology nothing out of him he just ran away.

Extremely affordable - nicely updated. Clean, quiet, safe. Amazing place for the cost. Stayed with my teenage daughter and we felt safe. Breakfast included and of course they had Texas shaped waffles. For the price, this is a great place to stay.

This is a wonderful hotel

Rm 202 was the original room we were given. After arriving I noticed the door was left open. There was a smell of urine in the room. We disvovered that the smell was coming from the corner of the bed. Spoke with the front desk. First they mentioned that they could deoderize the area. I asked for a different room. Eventually they gave us a different room, Rm 206. The room was fine, although the noise from the highway was very load throughout the night. I would avoid staying here if at all possible.

Very good stay. Zero complaints during my stay, clean, quiet, comfortable… except the pillows could be a little bit better quality. Other than that I was very content with my stay.

I liked the pool but the first night it was dirty bugs and leaves, they cleaned it after but it was not great. the options for breakfast wasn’t great either. Not many options, not seasoned with salt or pepper either

My husband lost his wallet on his way and even though it was paid for they did not let him check in. He had a picture of his passport but was turned away. Not cool.

Decent Hotel.... cigarette burns on comforter and I had to mess around with the control to get refrigerated to work. Typical hotel that hounds you before checkout. Very unprofessional.

Close to freeway, clean, quiet, good service. I didn’t like breakfast eggs tasted like paper.

This hotel was a good price. Our stay was comfortable and adequate, but not really anything extra. Breakfast offerings were okay, but when we arrived about 15 minutes before breakfast was over, a few things had run out. They were not willing to refill anything.

Close distance to six flags

The big problem is getting to this hotel. What I mean by that is when one exits the freeway, you enter a very busy street (Frontage) which is almost like another freeway. It requires getting from the left lane to the right lane and having to stop and enter the hotel parking lot while avoiding traffic at high speeds. I had to drive around again and almost got hit by another car. This is crazy! Also, there were guests that looked very suspicious, one individual smoking pot in the parking lot., and it all looked like people loitering. Can't confirm but it gave me bad vibes. The room is nice and spacious, with a comfortable bed. But unfortunately these other things are discouraging.

This hotel is so clean! Our room was amazingly clean, so was the breakfast area and lobby. The pool is beautifully maintained, too. This hotel is right off I-10, but is surprisingly quiet. It is convenient to get on the highway and go anywhere in San Antonio you want to go. It is also super close to a grocery store, CVS, post office, and some good restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. My only wish is that there was coffee in the room. It is available in the lobby anytime. There is a good sized mini fridge and microwave, plus hair dryer, ironing board and iron in the room, though.

Staff was friendly. Very nice and comfortable room. Great stay for its value. If anything, we had used the pull out sofa bed, but there wasn't any linen or pillow provided or available.

The bedding had holes and burnt spots in them. The bathroom floors were dirty. It’s apparent they never dust. The whole place was just dingy and dirty. Praise God there were no bed bugs or roaches or I would have been GONE!

There was lot of disturbance ( people knocking of the door of a nearby room late at night several times. When we reached for check in there were five cop cars investigating some disturbance but the hotel manager did not know about it or feigned ignorance. As it was a noncancellable room already fully paid on Expedia we did not have much choice but to the night. Seems like the rooms in this motel is rented to new immigrants and results in problems. Not sure but was mentioned by another person who was unwilling to take check in and wanted his money back.

Towels, face cloth are dirty and full of stain. Staff just folded the bath mat that is wet and dirty. We can smell smoke in the bathroom.

Breakfast and staff

As my husband I arrived the property was well maintained until we got into our room. The floor wasn't vacuumed and we booked a smoking room but there was no ashtrays. There was a piece of toilet paper in eye peeper and our door was so uneven it did not match with lining of door frame so we could only lock our door with the door hinge. On the bed was one fitting sheet, one cover sheet and a top there was no blankets on neither bed. This was the worse experience I have in countered with days in.

Checkin was at 3. Arrived at 4. Waited 1 hour to check in. Meanwhile, a drug arrest was happening in the parking lot. Room was dirty with crumbs on floor. Had a suite with a pullout. Confirmed that by phone earlier. When pulled out though bef had no sheets, blankets, or pillows, and bine extra in room. Called to get some and they said No! Fought with them fir 10 mins and Finally talked them into sheets etc. but had to go get them myself. Stayed 4 nights. For some reason the keys quit working every day and had to get new ones. Unless price is your only criteria, stay away. This made our Six Flags experience poor.

Had to switch rooms due to unsafe, dark corner, and questionable people. Felt more like a motel than hotel. Next door room, someone was cooking and smelled. Had to go buy air fresheners to stave off the smell.

The hotel was dated, but comfortable. They asked if we wanted housekeeping when we checked in, but didn't do it. The carpet was soaking wet by the fridge and there were cockroaches in the bathroom. But over all, an ok place to stay.

Check-in was very easy and quick as i was in a time crunch to meet family for dinner.

Disliked, that it appears that people are living out of some of the rooms, and they get noisy and loud.

Staff isn’t patient, I don’t think these men like a woman to question anything pertaining to what they want from you. I wasn’t told about a deposit because I asked for something in writing I had to listen to a lecture about what none smoking is like I’m 2! Then I was refuse service because of this the man said because he’s trying to be nice and explain which he wasn’t especially if put that way over $60 which money was on the counter! And 2 credit cards after he saided one declined then later to say oh we got $60 off of it

My rating for this hotel was based on breakfast variety and time frame. Breakfast was from 6:00am to 9:30am. There was also no cleaning service after the first night.Mattress had a stain towards the bottom outside. The stay at this hotel was disappointing.
