It was a great stay. The front desk employee named Chris made my family and I feel right at home. His customer service is excellent. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious. Perfect for our overnight stay for our SeaWorld trip with the kids. Will definitely be staying here again!
- 2/5
Apparently they only do housekeeping every other day. So if you’re staying there for the weekend Friday-Sunday don’t expect to leave for the day and come back to a clean room with new towels. We used up all the towels Friday night after spending the day at seaworld and we went back to the park Saturday morning and came back Saturday night and the room was still not made and we didn’t have any towels. You have to ask for new towels. My wife also went down stairs in the morning and there was no breakfast. I usually don’t write reviews but if I’m going to pay 400+ dollars for two nights the least you could expect to have is clean towels and free breakfast in the morning. I’ve stayed at hotels for half the price that have those things. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I booked 3 different rooms on 2 different floors for me and my family, for over $1500. None of us took a hot shower. Let front desk know about it and they it was fixed but it wasn't. From Thursday to Sunday house keeping didn't step foot inside any of our rooms. Guest just started setting their over flowing trash in the hall. My special needs daughter had an accident on the sheet. When I asked housekeeping for another fitted sheet, of course she never came. We hade soiled linen and trash inour room our whole stay.
- 5/5
Great food, nice room, h the bar tender knew how to mix a real drink
- 1/5
1st Upon arrival, the place looks nothing like the pictures online. 2nd the room we got was next door to undergoing construction there was at the hotel. 3rd we wanted to check out the pool and the water was very muggy and didn’t look clean whatsoever . There was lots of mold in the ac vents and Worse thing is that on top of paying way more than other nearby hotels , the parking was still not free want we had to pay. Overall a terrible experience and would not recommend this to anyone .

Great place
- 4/5
Best part was 10 min drive to SeaWorld and kids enjoyed the pool. Other than that its probably time to upgrade the 20 yr old TVs throughout the hotel.
- 5/5
Good
- 1/5
Pool manager yelled at and scolded my 8yr old son on his birthday trip. Asked to speak to the manager and he proceeded to cuss. I would never recommend anyone with kids ever stay at this hotel. Upper management has still not returned my calls and is dodging my booking company to issue me a refund
- 4/5
Upon arrival the staff was very informative and friendly. We had a king size bed and sofa couch room, but upon arrival the Ac in our room was not working. We gave it some time then asked the front desk who sent the Hotel Engineer up to check it out. The air unit was going out, so he worked with the staff to get us I a new room. We ended up with 2 queen beds which was fine. In the second room the tv would t work but we didn’t plan to use it so it was fine. The Bistro for dinner was very good! My spouse had the Ribeye steak and it was soooo good! Overall our stay was very pleasant and the staff was wonderful. Also it was convenient to easily get to and from Sea World as well as several good restaurants.
- 3/5
The pictures were obviously taken when it opened. It’s not as bright and beautiful. I don’t think the swim up bar has been used for a while. For the price of this hotel and the fact that you had to also pay for parking and breakfast and a cooler it’s not worth it. The gentleman at the front Chris was SO HELPFUL. I had read a comment from another quest that they had issues checking in after midnight. Our flight was delayed by 3 hours. I called the hotel and Chris assured me they would not cancel my reservation and he actually checked me in so when we arrived at 3:30am it was so much easier.

This was a really nice place with super great staff. The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is because the beds were not comfortable at all. We didn’t sleep well. Even the kids had trouble sleeping because of the beds and usually they can sleep through anything.
- 2/5
The pool looked so dirty my kids didnt even want to go in then our room had a leak which Chris at the front desk made sure it was fixed immediately the was amazing
- 5/5
It was me and my family's first vacation with our two little ones and the hotel made our trip amazing the GM is amazing and would definitely stay here again when we come back The room and pool area was very nice
- 3/5
I loved the facility's location and services, especially the pool and swim up bar. Our mattress in room 247 was hard as a rock and was the inly detrimental thing about our stay.
- 5/5
It’s actually a white building which makes it looked sophisticated and classy. Very nice property. Having to pay for parking
- 1/5
Room was dirty and also smell bad try to get change to another room they were very rude and told me they couldn’t do anything about it was very disappointed other then that everything was great bar was good pool was good and clean
- 4/5
Starbucks was only open certain hours during the day. There were ants in the bathroom. There was construction right next to us. It was only loud one day. Pool is nice and big. Parking is paid and located in the back lot unless you’re lucky to find a spot in the front.

That it was close to SeaWorld.
- 3/5
Location was close to a lot of the fast food restaurant we went to SeaWorld as well so distance was close by. Pool was very filthy . There was like flakes trash and the water was not clean/clear at all. The filter was off completely. That pool needs better care .Also room weren’t as clean they were put together but not clean at all. No tissue , light fixtures were visible not fixed the light above the desk looked like there was a peep hole it was kind off creepy and just a bad look. The fixture is just not put on there correctly.. bathroom was so clean and you can tell !! Wall paint is stained in the room /bathroom . I liked the location and how

- 5/5
Overall, it was an excellent stay. 1 thing to note however, the entire outside back patio where the pool was was absolutely crawling with roaches. They were literally everywhere I looked. But again, other than that, everything else was perfect. Thanks
- 5/5
Awesome staff, great Bistro food and nice pool. Room was very clean. Close to base for graduations and other events.
- 1.5/5
Great location They let the other hotel , must be owned by the same come to the pool because that one is closed. So on a holiday weekend it had 2 hotels in one pool. The baby birds fall from the next onto the concrete, the room smelled like wet paint and the ac unit was so loud.
- 3/5
Parking is extra and monitored. That was dissapointing.
- 2/5
The pool had poop in it and they didn’t shut it down after being notified. There was poorly painted repair work around whole faculty. The pool had wood rot exposed. The bathroom fixtures were rusty in the room. Just a poorly kept hotel for the price and advertising its “sea world” to entice customers to stay there. Will not be staying here again. I’ve stayed at numerous hotels at all different price points and this was the worst.
- 5/5
Family friendly hotel. Enjoyed food onsite and pool.
- 1/5
Room was not what I expected also nothing with was stocked no towels no tooth paste
- 4/5
The biggest issue was housekeeping. We were told rooms are not serviced until after a four-night stay. During our visit, our trash was never emptied, we had to request clean towels, and we even ran out of toilet paper and had to call the front desk for more. Basic necessities like these should not require guests to ask. We were also disappointed that the swim-up bar wasn’t open on our first evening. Since we were celebrating my husband’s birthday, it was one of the amenities we were looking forward to enjoying. The pool area could also use better maintenance. The windows overlooking the indoor pool were covered with what appeared to be hard water stains, making them look dirty and taking away from the overall appearance. Customer service was inconsistent. Cris was outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. He made us feel valued as guests. Unfortunately, not all staff members provided the same level of service. Overall, we left disappointed. We expected better housekeeping, cleaner facilities, and all advertised amenities to be available. I hope management addresses these issues so future guests have a better experience.
- 5/5
The gentleman at the front desk, Chris if im not mistaken he's very nice, respectful and very attentive. Great energy and great place to stay
- 2/5
Hotel was ok - but was told we could park anywhere and we all woke up to tickets on our cars for parking.. not ok!!!
- 3.5/5
I loved the location because our purpose for that weekend was Seaworld. Loved the service and attentiveness of the staff. Extremely nice and cute by offering my daughter a birthday treat. The pool needs updating. Chipped pieces coming off the sides is not ok. The idea of the pool bar is great, however, not sure why the service wasn't. I saw that the bartender had chamoy and tajin for drinks so I requested my Dos Equis beer to have that on the rim of the beer. He looked straight at me and said they didn't have that. Very disappointed. Also very important...you need to replace those sofa beds, if you can even call them that. I've stayed in other hotels with way better quality sofa beds than that. My kids are small and they even complained on how bad they were. Do better. Last note--don't advertise free breakfast if it's not in fact free.
- 3/5
Water pressure in the shower was weak. No cleaning service throughout our stay. Pools were overcrowded. There was an unpleasant odor in the hallways leading to the rooms both 1st and 2nd floor. Beds and pillows were not very comfortable from what I'd expect a Marriot to have. The Air conditioner was excessively loud in our room and our view out the window consisted of two containers sitting in the parking lot. Our toilet paper seemed to be 1 ply, which again I expected a bit better quality from Marriott.
- 4/5
Parking is not included. Good thing 6min away from sea world.
- 2/5
Roaches in the room. The towels seemed dirty, the bathroom was dirty. Like it hadn't been clean in weeks.
- 2/5
The rooms were comfortable and spacious The pool was absolutely disgusting bugs everywhere cloudy stuff floating all in it I could not get in.
- 5/5
Excelente all the stay i loved
- 5/5
I loved that the staff was very nice and helpful .

- 5/5
Muy bueno todo muy limpio
- 3/5
From the three nights we stayed they did not clean the room even once we had to ask for towels and conditioner I stay at other Marriotts in the pass the experience was way better.
- 1.5/5
Location Both hot tubs were non working there was not free breakfast and parking was outrageous
- 4/5
We did not like the dryer on the second floor. The dryer is pretty old and at times seemed like it was going to fall apart. Also the parking. Parking should come included or at least have it be an extra fee. Having to scan a QR code for parking permit just made it an inconvenience.
- 5/5
Clean, well-appointed room, great view, cordial staff
- 2.5/5
Property was clean and rooms were nice. Booking conflicts led to waiting for the room I paid for and booked months in advance not being available. Being overcharged with little to no help and compensation.
- 5/5
Overall, hotel was very awesome. Staff was very attentive.
- 5/5
We had a great experience at this hotel. The entire property was very clean, from the showers and guest room to the beds, carpets, and common areas throughout the building. The staff (Chris) was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The only downside was that the shower water did not get cold; it was mostly warm to hot. Other than that, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is very convenient, with easy access to Target, Walmart, H-E-B, and plenty of restaurants and fast-food options nearby. The property also has three pools, including a kids’ section, which was a great feature for families. We have stayed at other hotels before, but this one was one of the best experiences we’ve had. I read through the reviews before booking, and while most were positive, a few guests mentioned the hotel being close to the expressway. We personally did not find it to be a problem. We only noticed traffic noise occasionally, mainly from larger semi trucks. There is a parking lot fee of $10 per day, but it was worth it as there are several security cameras and a security guard. Overall, this was an excellent stay, and we would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Excellent stay. The rooms and the hotel are very clean. Check in with Brian was great, he was very friendly and helpful. Chris was also very friendly, helping my family navigate through the hotel. The pool was well maintained and Brian was a great bartender at the poolside bar. Will definitely stay again.
- 3/5
Our room was very warm and uncomfortable and it took several hours at the lowest temp on the ac to get it comfortable.
- 5/5
yes
- 0.5/5
Bed uncomfortable
- 5/5
Clean rooms Pool hours, they are from 10am-10pm. i checked in for the night around 11pm, and the checkout was at 11am. I would have loved to spend some time with my kids in the pool, they should initiate the pool hours at 8am for those that check in late
- 3/5
Clean room and hotel location for my purpose The beds were hard and very uncomfortable, even for my teen granddaughter, who chose to sleep on the loveseat. Also, we would have appreciated free breakfast for the room price, even a continental breakfast.
- 2/5
Our air didn’t work well the first night then on the second day it went out while we were away. Got back to the hotel at 11:00pm and asked for help, they came up and “fixed” the air just for it to stop working again almost immediately. They said they would switch our rooms and they had forgotten about us for about 30min. When we got to the other room it was great until it started raining and there was a leak it the ceiling. The pool is great though.
- 5/5
The pool was murky and did not appear clean. The "hot tub" outside was not heated. The maintenance guy kept closing the parking gates. the bar was extremely rude, not just once, but every time we attempted to order.
- 5/5
Amazing place there are many restaurants just around the corner. I would definitely say here again
- 2/5
Everything was going great until it was shower time the water pressure was non existent. That’s a major issue! Getting back from the heat or even the pool you expect to come back and have a nice relaxing shower but the water pressure had other ideas. Never have I ever had such a low water pressure in any of the cheap hotels I’ve ever stayed at but to have it in the courtyard by Marriot is wild! I hope this issue is resolved for other guest.
- 5/5
This place was excellent for a 3 star hotel, I would even go ahead and rate it 3.99. Great place for family with kids who just want to get away and enjoy a pool food and drinks. Definitely be my first choice next visit, if on a budget.
- 5/5
check in was fast, room was very clean and cozy, great location. Close to Sea World, and the pool was very nice. Excellent stay.
- 4/5
The bed is not kid friendly. It has steel on edges. My baby got injured when he hit the bed.
- 3/5
Room was dirty with other peoples hair in bathroom and on sheets. Pool was dirty but open. Charged for parking through 3rd party app. Some outside event was being held so parking was non existent even after I had to pay for it
- 5/5
A perfect hotel in every physical way. I had a problem with the charge that appeared on my card, but it was quickly fixed when I complained. Therefore, I suggest you check your card statement afterwards.
- 5/5
We love how close this hotel is to sea world! Newly renovated, parking was a bit of an issue due to something going on at hotel wish I would have known prior to arrival.
- 1/5
This hotel is under construction! None of the pictures on Expedia match anything that this Hotel provides. Everything is outdated. I stayed with two handicap people. One of the elevators wasn’t working, so I was forced to push my handicap Sister to a working elevator while my father followed behind having a very hard time walking on his own with his walker that distance . It was the hard and inconvenient for me to try to wheel around my handicap sister and make sure that my dad would not fall around all of their construction this Hotel. Hotel does NOT match Marriott standards whatsoever! There were broken bathroom doors, washing machines in the area provided for filling ice, made it impossible for a handicap person to even get into! My dad couldn’t use his bathroom fan because of the loud noise it was making. They were cutting down palm trees directly over the pool area on Friday at 1 o’clock in the afternoon . I was horrified to go back and find my sister covered in sawdust! They just started cutting trees over her!I tried to speak with the manager, but as soon as I started this is not Marriott standards. She became extremely upset! I explained to her that I threw away chlorine bottles that were left out at the pool and both doors we let open on the pool maintenance rooms?! The hot tub outside didn’t work for $1600 I would expect a little more than what we received. The general manager was very very rude and disrespectful when we went voice or concerns. Very disappointed!
- 5/5
It was a great stay
- 5/5
loved this place , felt so welcome! will definitely come again .
- 5/5
👍
- 3/5
Room was clean and updated enough but could’ve been better. Main issue was no hot water! Tepid showers so if hot showers are important to you stay elsewhere.
- 5/5
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel location to Sea World was close and only 15-20 min from the Riverwalk. The outdoor pool is very family friendly. The only recommendation I have is for the Bistro. The bartender was super friendly and not her fault , but our nachos and kids grilled cheese took over one hour to be delivered and it was cold. It would be better just not to serve food if this is how long it takes. Other than that, this is a great place to stay and I will stay again!
- 5/5
Muy bueno el hotel
- 1/5
No bueno.
- 5/5
Awesome place next to Sea World. Only thing that was bad is the parking. I would definitely stay again though.
- 5/5
The room was very clean! Loved the updates inside. Miss the inviting color of the outside however. Would still stay here again!
- 5/5
Great clean and nice place to stay.
- 4/5
there was lots of bird poop and nowhere during the booking was it said that they charge you per day to park your car on their lot.
- 4/5
The location is excellent. If you are looking for super closeness to Sea World, it's great. Considering this hotel is in the "budget friendly" category it is disappointing they do not have free breakfast and shocking that they charge for parking. We have stayed at several other hotel chains similar in price and get free parking and breakfast. So this sadly, is a one and done for us.
- 5/5
Good service
- 5/5
The pool was wonderful! Indoor and outdoor. The location was perfect for us to get where we needed to be.
- 4/5
Rooms were very spacious and clean. Pool and balcony in too was very nice. Would definitely stay there again when in San Antonio.
- 1/5
They didn’t have housekeeping room was in terrible condition there was no one at check in waited for 30 minutes before we could find some one. Really bad experience. No parking always full horrible
- 3/5
Lost Clothing
- 5/5
I had a really great experience staying at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and quick to help with anything I needed. Check-in was smooth, and I appreciated how clean and well-maintained everything was.
- 3/5
Way too many kids in the outdoor pool who weren’t being supervised .
- 5/5
I would for sure book again
- 4/5
It was okay
- 2/5
The pool was ok. I stayed for 2 nights and my room was not cleaned on the following day. Also did not stayed at the room I choosed online.
- 3/5
Looks like it was undergoing a renovation. Elevator buttons not working, seams in wallpaper, ceiling tiles missing
- 3/5
Found an unopened gallon of Lactaid in the rooms refrigerator, a full cup of soup too, plus two pairs of socks on the floor. WiFi only worked until 8:00 p.m. and never did work the next morning before we checked out.
- 2/5
We were given a room in an area where renovations were being done
- 5/5
Everything was very nice- from the lobby, to the room, the pool, and the staff. Will stay here every time we visit this area.
- 5/5
There's construction going on but for the most part it's not an issue. Parking is full by pm so you have to park in the back. It would be nice if they had free breakfast.
- 3/5
The outside hot tub was not working. Pool was nice but they are remodeling the hotel so some pool chairs and outside tables were stacked and pushed to the side, like it wasn't organized well. The inside pool is not as big as the picture looks.
- 1/5
Todo estaba en reparacion mucho ruido y el precio era elevado teniendo en cuenta lo que estaban ofreciendo la limpieza era cada 2 dias y no era suficiente mas cuando vas con niños
- 5/5
Room was great. Kids enjoyed the heated pool. Staff the front desk. I forgot his name but he was new. Just started last week he was wonderful. Very friendly and caring!
- 4/5
Hotel will be beautiful when completed. Hotel staff was amazing and customer focused.
- 5/5
We stayed one day and we loved it planning our next stay already.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing! We got a free upgrade when we got there. Only complaint is that you have to pay to park. Other than that everything was AMAZING!
- 1/5
Hotel was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! They should have closed down for renovations. They put us on a floor filled with cation tape and caulk. When I stepped off of the elevator I stepped right into putty to put new floors on. Ruined my $1100 shoes and all the said they would do is refund my room. They also said the general manager would call me which of course I never received a call from. Marriott has enough money to where they should have closed that floor for renovations.
- 5/5
They accidentally gave my room to another person (same name) but they immediately made up for it by upgrading us and getting us a better room and comping our breakfast and parking. The staff was very accommodating.
- 1/5
Found a used cape in the pull out couch. Found lots of hairs in the shower. There was still food and drinks in the refrigerator in the room.
- 5/5
Our go to always!
- 5/5
The bed is awesome as was the water pressure and shower head. Internet access was consistent and the staff was always helpful and friendly. If I could change anything, I would put a microwave in every room along with complimentary refrigerator.
- 2/5
My room had loose ragged material hanging from under the mattresses. The bathroom floor was filthy. The toilet stopped up and the guests above were super loud. The hallways on the third floor had says s on the carpet from paint and construction throughout. It was not appealing at all. The staff was super nice though.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
They got my room wrong was supposed to be a king suit with separate rooms but said we had to book two rooms to have that option and I said thats what the picture was when i booked it
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Beautiful room
- 1/5
When I arrived, the room type that was originally promised was no longer available because they were sold out. This made the entire situation even more frustrating. What disappointed me the most was the customer service. I’ve stayed at this hotel regularly—almost weekly—and have never had issues before. Unfortunately, this time the experience was very different. The staff was unhelpful, and staff was rude to the Expedia representative who was trying to assist. As a loyal guest, I expected much better communication and professionalism. This experience was extremely disappointing.
- 3/5
We doubled check before booking and was told the indoor hot tub was working. Of course it was not. The indoor pool area looks nothing like the pictures and overall run down.
- 5/5
I had a great stay! The clean room, staff, amenities, and pool all stood our to me!
- 2/5
Indoor pool and hot tub area was closed. Not enough staff for the amount of patrons. Rooms are rather old and show it. The entire 3rd floor smelled of weed.
- 3/5
The staff was very kind but our rooms pull out sofa bed was so dirty. The body wash and conditioner was out. I had put 2 adults and two teenagers would be staying in the room and I only had 3 towels. I booked the courtyard because they advertised it had an indoor pool. The indoor pool is under renovation so that part was closed.
- 5/5
Very clean area and rooms. Good to see event at Hotel.
- 2/5
The staff was great. Jose Cuervo shot was way overpriced. Starbucks was closed. Stayed on the same floor as construction. Room smelled moldy. Pool area had faded signs, very dirty windows. Not enough parking. Wasn’t a terrible hotel. Just could use some TLC.
- 2/5
First off upon checking in the front desk attendant was a bit short and rude as well as the same upon checking out. It just didn’t feel as welcoming as it should have been for a higher end hotel. Second we had to pay for parking. Which I didn’t remember seeing anywhere in the booking that we were obligated to pay for parking. Third we were there for three nights and not once did housekeeping come in to change sheets or towels. I expect this out of lower end hotels but this was a higher end Marriott and expected more. We will not be staying here again in the future.
- 5/5
Great staff and clean room
